Can’t believe they have to close, that place is great 🥺

Waited for over 5 minutes to be seated when they were not busy at all. Service was ok, not very knowledgeable.

So sad it's closing. Had to get in there before it's gone. Fish amazing. Hawaiian chicken amazing. Beer battered chicken amazing. Salads are tasty too.

Dueling piano night, good times, darts, all good fun times.

Highly disappointed. The whole night was terrible, we sat for over a hour waiting on food. The waitress never came back to ask if we needed anything. As we are eating, a group of men came in, one pulled his pants down to show his friends something (we don’t know what that was about) but we watched our waitress laugh at him and engage in the conversation. During the meal, we had multiple people sit at our table like we were invisible. We never received a bill after multiple attempts to catch a staff member & had to just guess our total, leaving the money with the host stand. We had to leave a whole plate of pasta at the table because no one came back to bring us a container. I called & was supposed to receive a call back but never heard anything.

Great spot to watch a game. The dining room has dueling piano show on weekends. Good food and friendly service. Very nice whiskey selection too!

2nd time coming here. Was not great. Fries were room temp and undercooked. My Chicken Club sandwich had a very soggy bottom. Buddy got a Mushroom and Swiss burger, said it was okay but not all that good. He didn't finish his fries. At the door, says 3% off your bill paying with cash. I paid cash but no discount. Had to ask the server to actually give me some $1's so I could tip him, or he'd have gotten the $1 he brought back. All in all, while the bar's got 72 taps, I'll be skipping this place in the future. Oh, and as of today, the web site is down because the domain expired.

This is one of our goto places when we are heading out to eat. The food is very good and portions are bigger than average. We always sit in the bar rather than the restaurant and the atmosphere is friendly and fun. We have visited several times and have nor experienced a wait to get a seat in the bar. Someone's the bar itself is full, but then we just grab a table - in the bar tables are first come first served. Great place!

I rated it five star that is for a pub/restaurant. Very attentive wait staff very good food and on Wednesdays domestic drafts are $1.25, last time I checked!

The bartender only wanted to flert with the hot guy. Didn't really check on anyone. Never check on our lunch. Had to ask her to check on it for us. Don't think think we'll be back...

Loved the music and the atmosphere. Had a killer Michigan salad and some drinks. Would definitely visit again.

Great pub vibe. Good is very good. Service good, especially "Sam" at the bar, she'll make your visit fun and enjoyable.

2022 Great food and my favorite day to go here is St Patrick's Day. The corned beef and hash breakfast is 5 star! Service is great too! 2023 UPDATE: Came here again for St. Patrick's Day breakfast. Very disappointing. Almost no corn beef in the hash and prices were $5 more than last year. Service was great though. Prices on the drink menu did not match the bill and it was dated with today's date. Bill was $1 more for every drink. The entertainment was very good and made up for a lot of the issues we had. 2024 UPDATE: Service is pretty much non-existent, food is ridiculously overpriced and false advertising on the menu. This is the last time we come here. The corned beef has was sold out at 10:30, the "potato pancakes" are just has browns and are NOT served with Irish cream, but with horse radish sauce! Gross and way overpriced! Waited 30 minutes to see our waitress. I would not recommend this place for St. Patrick's Day. Beyond disappointed. 😡

Younger folks seem to populate this place. Service was great even though they were busy.

Our server Jacob was on point, fast and polite. Piano was a lot of fun we are regulars and will return.

Food was even better than described by the menu. Cocktails were well made and generously poured. Our server may have been the only person staffed.

The best birthday outing. Our waiter Jacob was phenomenal. He kept up with our party of 27. Bought drinks very quickly and always to us even if we were mingling at another table. The food was amazing and the show was fantastic. Well, definitely be back. Thank you.

Dualing 🎹 pianos is the best attraction in Brighton, if you have not been to see it you must , best time ever.

This is my second time in Jameson's The first time was when they were in the Green Oak mall in what is now Joe Kool's. I was unimpressed with the food then (more than 15 years ago) and I am still unimpressed with anything about this restaurant. Every time I pass by this restaurant, it appears to be empty....and now I know why. We chose this restaurant because we were attending a comedy show at the Wilde Theater behind Jameson's (directly behind!!!!). We arrived here at 1810, it took forever for wait staff to take our food and drink order which we did not receive until 1910. Food, severely less than mediocre as it arrive somewhat warm and definitely over cooked. Hamburger was a dry well-done and the fried perch sucked every bit of moisture out of my mouth. The provided sauce for the perch was some spicy play on tartar sauce which tasted horrible; I am a hot sauce person but this stuff sucks horribly. I asked for regular tartar sauce of which I never received. My vote was for Champ's pub and grill nearby, my wife wanted a less noisy place for dinner (stay tuned for our experience below). Why did we not return the food? The comedy show started at 1930 and we were hungry, plus we knew any return to the kitchen would take another 45-60 minutes which would result in us missing our date night show. You may be wondering if the place was busy. Absolutely not. Maybe there were at most 15 out of the 40 tables with patrons seated at them and the bar was less than 1/2 full with plenty of wait staff. Heck, there were 3 people standing at the hostess podium all sitting around without anyone entering the front door. In order to get the check, we flagged a hostess and asked her to get our server for the bill. She brought it and attempted to leave quickly, but I told her to stay or we were leaving without paying the bill. The tip corresponded to approximately 8% for a minimal attempt at providing service to us. We rarely tip less than 20% unless service has been poor. The last time we tipped less than 15% has been over 15 years (Wait staff, feel free to strut your stuff for having been exemplary at providing poor service. please don't break your arm patting yourself on the back). Dueling pianos: This has to go away. The noise level is deafening. We saw several couples who were having a great time and conversation near the pianos move to a much quieter location in the establishment (the bar high tables). Thank you for providing an intrusive entertainment experience. We did not move because we were trying to hurry out for our show. We don't go out for date nights frequently because of opposite work schedules. We only chose Jameson's for a quieter atmosphere where we could talk before the show. I have hearing difficulties and the addition of the overly intrusive "dueling" pianos was unwarranted. Thank you for interrupting and derailing our infrequent date night. I know this post is long, but I feel that I justify my low star review. I have never given an establishment less than 3 starts. Strut your stuff for gaining an extremely low review Jamison's, you have earned it. I hope some other restaurant takes over this place. May you find yourself in the the same category as Stout's Irish Pub: CLOSED. Please close because you are in the same category as Taco Bell: horrifically inadequate in every aspect of a restaurant

Understaffed and unable to tend to our party. 35 min drinks. Literally 35 mins. Salad great, spin dip great, chx tenders great, fish n chips both super salty.

Grateful for a true black and tan for once (Guinness and Harp)! Food was decent and service was great.

We were in on a week day for an early lunch. The place was pretty quiet but I can see it would be hoppin' later in the day and especially on weekends. Great service, great food.

Servers were exceptional! I had fish n chips and I would NOT recommend it. Over battered and over cooked...fish was mush. People in the group had chicken, steak and shepherds pie and absolutely loved their meals. Just don't get the fish.😕

The wife and I stopped by here the other night. They were having dualing pianos, which was cool to watch. My wife had beer battered chicken strips. I had chicken spinach gouda pasta. It was awesome. The service was not great. I had to ask other servers to find our waiter more than once. I would give it a try again.

Service can take forever there sometimes, but the experience is worth it! Dueling Pianos is such a fun and interactive experience, they always put on a awesome show. definitely recommend checking this place out

Our go to place for quality and variety.

The beef barley soup took me back to great Irish pubs back east. The Guinness was poured correctly. Both complimented each other nicely.

What a fun bar, good service always fun people at the bar . But if you're not a regular, service drops off a lot!!

Good food. Staff dresses a little skimpy for family, but my 14 year old grandson seemed to like the volleyball shorts on our waitress

Good size menu with a lot of options. Local beers on tap as well which was nice.

Great place with good service and amazing corned beef!

First of all we went on a Saturday evening with out of town guests. I guess it was our first mistake. We had 7 pm reservations and arrived about 10 minutes early. It was almost 30 minutes before anyone came to ask for our drink order. After waiting over 10 minutes we finally got our order. And even after pointing to the beer from the menu directly to the waitress which beer I'd like, they brought the wrong one. I wasn't going to bother asking for the correct one because I just didn't want to wait another 10 minutes. We were then told the kitchen was on hold so we had to put our order for the starters in to get them on the waiting list. I guess our biggest complaint was a whole for the group was how unattentive our waitress was. I seriously doubt I'll return.

We love going here! Music is a lot of fun and the food is great! Perch sandwich. Da best.

Terrible experience. It was freezing in the bar area and we barely saw our server. I literally had to go to the bar to get a drink from our table.Ordered the steak tips medium rare with a side of fries. Steak tips were well done and never received fries. Had to ask for everything and had to take our tab to the bartender to cash out. Lots of servers sitting around and hanging out doing nothing. No wonder this place was dead at 6:00

Went on a Tuesday. Light crowd and the food was excellent.

It was just ok. I'm not going back. Lots of other places to go. My husband did think his meal was fine. The wait staff was fine, no complaints there. The other Irish pub across the street that's not there anymore was much more authentic.

The food was ok. I had an Irishman burger that was really good. My friend had Shepherd's pie and wasn't too impressed. But the service and drinks were great. And the dualing pianos so much fun. We had a great time and will definitely go back.

Had a fun night at dueling pianos, but don't do this if you want to visit because it's pretty loud and hard to talk. It was fun and we enjoyed ourselves.

Enjoyed Dueling Pianos on Saturday with a group of friends. Our server was FANTASTIC! He was basically constantly running and kept a smile on his face & our drinks full the entire time. Food was really good & entertainment was a blast. This is such a fun place for a date night or girls night out!

Solid food, good drinks, great time

Sat 10 min didn't even get menus ..they said they did not know who the server was for that table innthe bar area..yet they gave menus to a table that arrived 8 minutes after us...unorganized staff

Place use to be good, not anymore. Sat at a table in the bar section. 4 other tables open and waited 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. Finally came by and they gave us BS and said they will find out who the server was. Friday night and they said the restaurant had 3 servers. Seems like a management problem.

The food was really good, and the drinks were great. The atmosphere was amazing, and it was a lot of fun listening and watching the dueling pianos. I had a really good time going there with some friends. I highly recommend going there if you've never been. It is an amazing experience, and I plan on going again. The only complaint I really have is that my server was not very attentive at all.

Atmosphere was good until the live music came in. Way too loud for the room. Waitress was great, food came out as orded. And checked in often

Went for the dueling pianos, it was very good. Food and service is great. We made reservations 6 weeks ago for 8 people.

The food was delish, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was so fun! I had the New Orleans Pasta and my husband got the Irishman. It was a very fun time out and I can't wait to go again.

This was our first time here. My husband and I enjoyed our burger meals. It was nice that this restaurant was not overly noisy (Sunday around 4-4:30). Service was good, as well. Their menu offers some nice choices. The only negative comment would be that our burgers weren't cooked exactly to order. We made do. We will likely give Jamison's a second try.

Went for trivia night! It was wonderful, save for a few unruly customers. The staff was wonderful as well as the food! I got a basket of waffle fries and my friends got the shepherds pie and the potato skins. We loved it! Highly recommend.

Taylor and Nicole was the most attentive waitresses I have had in a long time dealing with my loud party. They did amazing and I wanted to also say the food was amazing the drinks was perfect. I'm glade you loved and it was my first time visiting since the move. I will be back definitely 😁

The fish and chips are the best.

We came here on Sunday for my husband’s birthday. Our first time. Everyone in my family thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was great. Although I’d say my chicken (I got the beer battered chicken strips) while were juicy and flavorful, still had some chewy spots. I found it a tad hard to eat. But they have an array of sauce choices, which I really liked. Our server, Jacob, was amazing. He was attentive, present, helpful, and a very warm welcome for our first time there. I also wish I could’ve been here for the dueling pianos! I bet that would be quite the entertainment! Will come here again!

Cool place. Staff is kind and knowledgeable. I had battered cod and fries. Portion was nice size. Although I was really looking forward to the fish I was let down. The batter was pretty salty. We will probably return. My husband tells me that the burgers are good😊

As always great place and love the whole side of cod you get for fish and chips. YUM!! Great staff and what a huge beer selection if you like beer. Of course there are other adult beverages as well. Highly recommend!!

My family went there for my twin nieces birthday celebration and everything was exceptional! My husband ordered the prime rib dinner and it was delicious with the green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. i ordered the lemon chicken dinner and the sauce was to die for!!! We had a male server who took care of us and made sure that everyone’s drinks were full! We will be back for sure!

Driven several clients here in Party Buses in the past... But last night was My first time entering... I totally enjoyed the dueling pianos and entertainment... As did my group... Anna was fabulous as our wait staff... All was superb except for the drunk not from my group that caused a flight... Although Brighton's Police were immediately on site to resolve the situation...

Usually annoying and loud on weekends but! Best damn Cajun steak tips and garlic green beans ever! Soooo good! And good ranch:)

This was our first experience at Jameson's, although some in our party have been there. As a party of 15, we sat in the back and had a phenomenal visit. All the food was wonderful and we had a great visit! Our waitress(an older lady and I can't recall her name), was spot on! Not a single complaint and we are looking forward to returning! Great job Jameson's!!

Food was good but we mostly came to hear the music. I was disappointed that there is very little Irish in this Irish pub.

Had a Ruben here three hours later I needed a bucket. It tasted off . Very little corn beef but a half lb of scour krout. My sister ordered grilled salmon sandwich which she said it tasted off one bite left on plate. Will not go back. Won't have a Ruben for sometime now.

Really didnt care for this one. It wasnt a very busy night and our waitress was impossible to find...The hostess seated us exactly where I asked her not too...But I took care of that real fast...The food wasnt bad...Its wasnt great...especially for the price (84 dollars for 4 plates) The food was dry and overcooked. If this place wants to charge that amount of money for pub food...They need to re-staff.

We've not visited while the pianos have dueled, but we did enjoy a great meal. The wife thought the Salmon BLT was superb and I thoroughly demolished a Corned Beef Reuben. 1 star off for the weak cocktails, though. Room for improvement there.

This place is a sports bar not an Irish pub. Traditional Irish food on menu minimal at best! Food is on the high $$ side Also you pay additional fees for credit or debit card use( server didn’t mention) server also never asked if we wanted refills on drinks.

We came came here for my sisters birthday on a Friday night. Food was delicious and the dueling pianos were awesome.
