The Bacon Crusant and the boudin Crusant were pretty good. It was my 2nd time getting each of these and can't complain really. As far as the frappe, this was my first one here. I had them add caramel. I won't say it was bad, but, there really was not much flavor to it. It pretty much tasted as if I were having shaved ice. I could taste a little flavor in it but really not a whole lot. Overall, I would recommend this place but I probably wouldn't recommend the frappe. Just get that at McDonald's seriously. Also, way cheaper there.

The Ice-cream Frappe is delicious, I loved it with the peanut butter ice-cream in it. The ice-cream brand is Hershey's. Great variety of ice-cream flavors and different coffee drinks. Note: All the times I've been there, a sweet corgi was also there. This was great to me, but if you're allergic to dogs you should use the drive thru

This locally owned business is for sure one you need to check out! I had the Black and Gold frozen mocha coffee and it was absolutely amazing! The service was great and Copper, the sweet Corgi doggie, was there to greet me. They had a large selection of coffee, breakfast and lunch items, and ice cream! They even have a drive thru. I’d definitely recommend going to check them out. Support your local businesses!

The owners are really sweet people, we talked a little and they gave me a warm welcome to the area. The iced latte, ice cream (generous scoops), and croissant boudin sandwich were so good. I felt like I was having breakfast at a friend’s house it was so friendly and cozy. It’s an amazing feeling to have a hot, home cooked meal. The extreme dark chocolate ice cream is my favorite that I’ve tried so far— it’s rich and has balanced sweetness.

Love Jammin Java always great food, great atmosphere, pulled pork best in town, Macha, coffee, ice cream, great sandwiches, chalkboard, chess, what else can you ask for? And all that with a kind smile! Great customer service oh and a drive through!

My father and I went to Jammin Java for the first time to have a nice little sit-down snack and coffee. They had these wonderful, delicious little cheesecake bites, some Boudin biscuits, and some really crispy croissant sandwiches. The coffee was amazing and really tasted smooth and strong. Monica the owner was such a sweet, kind, and welcoming person. She not only went above and beyond with helping us choose what we want (we are incredibly slow because we were just the type of people who like to take our time looking at the menu) we also had a lovely chat with her it was not busy at all it was just us (went at odd hours) and it really just made our day extra special! Thank you so much for the great experience Monica. The food and coffee were out of this world :-)

Ordered the pumpkin pie frappe and it was the best frappe I’ve ever had. Also got the birthday cake ice cream and the doughlicious ice cream - SO good. Will 100% be ordering from here again!!

Found this lovely place by accident as my hubby was next door getting sushi. The shop is so bright and cheerful-just like the owner, Monica. The cappuccino flavor was the best I've had. Enjoyed it in a sugar cone. We all loved our ice cream and shakes. We especially enjoyed meeting such a friendly owner. Made everything taste even better. Will surely be back whenever we are in the area <3

An absolutely delicious gem of a café! Every single item we ordered was super tasty. Favorite item was the Cajun Club with Jalapeño Cheddar bread. 1000% drool worthy.

Wonderful place wonderful people

This is a great place to unwind from the rat race. I stopped in for lunch recently and enjoyed a hefty Cuban sandwich, and I left with a hot tea. Monica is more than nice, and she provides personal service that is rarely experienced these days. The menu is big enough to keep returning to try new things, or to stick to your favorites...and the ice cream selection is huge! Be sure to visit.

Thus is the cutest little family owned coffee shop I have been too in a while! They are super friendly, very helpful and they make the best Ice-cream Frappé I have ever had. They even have local art! 😍 They offer Dine-inn, drive-through and take out.

They're croissant bacon, egg, and cheese is delicious and fulfilling. It's quaint place. I didn't take a picture of the boudin biscuit, because as soon as it hit the table it hit mouth. Yes, it's that good. The hint of honey is well played. A little difficult to maneuver with my power wheelchair but they're helpful to move things around for me to get by. The parking is a little awkward but it's well worth the trip for the food and the nice vibe. It's a cozy place, hidden away on Verot. The owner Monica is a sweet lady with a big heart. I will definitely be stopping by again. I want to sample their ice-cream and their unique coffee.

The boudin biscuits are great. They have that homemade crumbly texture with a hint of sweetness and amazing boudin. We are from Texas and this boudin is not the rice boudin like I’m used to- it was a lot better! We also tried the boudin grilled cheese- which was big enough to split—and it was amazing too! We didn’t get to try much more but everything they had looked amazing. They have a small place but it’s worth it. My husband sat in the one comfy chair, lol.

We love this little local place. Such excellent coffee every time, the best panini sandwiches, and ice cream that will ruin you for all others. Try the spicy turkey club panini on jalapeno cheese focaccia bread!! Oh, my!

The kids & I decided to stop by this little shop today for an afternoon dessert! & I was so glad I did! This little treasure is not far from our house & we were able to go through a drive thru where we were greeted by a very friendly face & everything was out to us in no time. The kids decided on ice cream, Mint Chocolate Chip for my 10yo & Vanilla (with beautiful colors in it) for my 4yo who thought it was great! I especially loved that they have lots of gluten free choices due to my little one being tested now for food allergies. Now for the drink, it was a caramel frappe & was INCREDIBLE! Anyone that knows me will know my love for anything coffee is real! I will definitely be back! Thank you for the GREAT local spot!

I have to admit that this would have been a great first stop on our do it yourself Lafayette food tour. It was after we were full of great food, however, so the great little boudin biscuit with coffee stop was a bit upstaged. The biscuit and coffee were just good at that point but would have probably seemed of legendary quality at the start of the day. It was much quieter and more relaxing at noon however, so there is that, The food tours have it right, Stop here first.

Sin duda es un lugar estupendo para parar, visitar, comer, tomar café, postre. No se vaya sin comprar algunos de su café de mezcla de la casa para llevar a casa con usted.

So glad I finally stopped in for lunch! Sandwiches are delicious. We had the pulled pork and Italian. Got a Nutella frappe for our drink. Service is really friendly and accommodating. It was a mother and her son and we had our food promptly and fresh! Can't wait to go again!

Best ice cream and coffee in the area. Oh, and it isn't primarily a sandwich shop, but it could be. Pulled pork sandwich is fantastic! Oh, and don't forget to grab a boudin biscuit. Hell, just order one of everything on the menu.

We visited here while taking the Cajun Food Tour and were introduced to a superbly delicious boudin biscuit drizzled with Steen's syrup. Oh they were good! This would be a great place for a quick breakfast or lunch. Oh yeah, they also have some yummy ice cream!

This small food shop is huge on flavor. The boudin biscuits with Steen's syrup were to die for. The kickin turkey club was very tasty. We finished up with some of their 24 flavors of icecream which beat Bluebell in taste. Will definitely be back.

The sandwiches are amazing. On the two occasions I ate there, it took a little while for the sandwiches to be made, but they are worth the wait! Plus, the store has a nice enough atmosphere to sit and visit while you wait or read a book if you are alone.

My wife and I stopped in and wow. Our beverages and sandwiches were made with passion and delight by the owners. Who are husband and wife. He inquired about what we liked and made us stuff that wasn't even on the menu. Very impressive.

I was looking for a place for a little sweet treat, and boy did I make a discovery. Jammin' Java is an out of the way place in a shopping center on Verot School Rd. It's definitely worth going a bit out of your way, though. They have coffee drinks, ice cream, and sandwiches, among other things. Today, I was there for the ice cream. I had a sundae, and it was as good as any I've ever eaten. I'm looking forward to going back to try some of the other things they offer.
