As always, this restaurant has a great menu along with a staff that makes sure your dining experience is memorable. As a 37 year local, i can tell you that this place just does everything right! The manager Thomas personally makes sure that you leave happy. If you don't, then just don't visit our island anymore! 😎👌

Great little spot. Starbucks meets chipotle and ends up better than both. Trash cans openings were too small.

Been coming to HH for many vacations now, with Java as a one our favorites. To my disappointment, the quality has fallen big time. The flavor/quality of ingredients, and the service. This is also the only customer facing business I've ever seen that allows their employees to wear abnoxious over the ear headphones while interacting with customers. The other chain place is now neck in neck.

Missed breakfast but the burritos were amazing. Coffee didn't disappoint either, would say that the ambiance is good but loud inside. Would come back!

This place is a must do every time we come to HHI. The guac is amazing. All the burritos and bowls are made to order with fresh ingredients from local companies/ farms!! What a great way to stay local!!

This place is phenomenal! I came in with a huge order for 8 people and she helped me get every order customized and labeled. Way better service and atmosphere than a chain burrito place (you know who you are 👀) Planning on stopping by tomorrow morning for coffee! ☕️

Pretty solid all around. Their cold brew was fantastic! My chicken burrito bowl was good, I wish there were more sauce options, but still good.

We eat here every time we go to hilton head and love it. Great service and vibe, we ordered pickup and I got a bowl. I highly recommend getting the potatoes and eggs in there as well as pico and corn salsa. It is delicious!!

Java Burrito has to be one of my top 3 favorite places on Hilton Head Island to get food. It's always fast, and absolutely DELICIOUS. If you're questioning yourself whether or not to go, it'll be a regret you'll think about forever. Love you guys. Keep up the excellence!!!! :)

The best experience we’ve had so far on our Hilton head trip this year. The atmosphere is a beached up version of chipotle. The staff were incredibly patient and nice, even though they had a line out the door into the parking lot. On top of that, the food, the quality, and the portions were fantastic. Even the kids meal deals were a steal for our group. Would highly recommend the roasted potatoes for any bowl or burrito. Their verde salsa is some of the most fresh and delicious I have ever had at a restaurant like this. Only regret that I have is that I went for the chicken instead of the steak. Seating is limited inside, so be ready for carry out or to brave the humid summers in the outdoor patio. We sat inside, and due to customers leaving the door open while standing in line, it was super humid inside. The staff did their best to get customers to shut the door, but people are in their own worlds. Only sharing this for folks coming to try, come get the food and be prepped for limited seating. With that said, I’m coming back every time we come back here, and we’ll gladly sit in the heat or grab it to go, it was that good. Chipotle could learn a few things from them here.

Fresh fast casual. Six people with FULL breakfasts and two drinks came to ~$80. Largest burrito in my life filled with multiple proteins. Options that are both more chipotle inspired (bowls, tacos, burritos) and alternatives such as breakfast potatoes, avocado toast, and breakfast sandwiches. Guacamole is amazing!! Love that they have yellow bird hot sauce for a sugar-free option. Everyone left very satisfied and excited to return for happy hour.

Great burritos, service, and coffee! Really is the fresh delicious chipotle alternative. Generous portions. Iced late was made fresh and tasted wonderful.

A must-try on HHI. Burritos and bowls are great! So fresh and each flavor stands out, in comparison to fast food Mexican like Moe’s or Chipotle that have a certain taste to them.

Great breakfast burritos and solid coffee. The people there are incredibly friendly if you just say “hi” and “how are you?” Sadly from their reaction it must not be common.

Food is 5 stars. Wait and service is what drops this rating. Waited at least 45 minutes. The wait problem is solvable with good management making sure enough people are on the line instead of the person who starts orders also carrying them down the line. Highly inefficient.

Breakfast Bowl with Egg and chorizo: 8.2/10 (only complaint was the fajita veggies needed more time on the grill) excellent food!

Great fast casual food place. But beware - they are popular. Parking fills up fast and lines will easily be out the door for lunch

This spot is a must visit! We always get the food to go and eat it poolside. Everything is always fresh and tastes so good. Think Chipotle but a million times better. The only negative is that they are only in two locations and we don't have one by us at our home. We will always stop here for lunch every Hilton head trip we take.

The best burrito I ever had! Tastes like quality and lots of vegan options. It was very busy, and I had to wait in line for a while before ordering.

Much better than chipotle! Organic and farm fresh ingredients from local farms. Everything was full of flavor and reasonably priced. Great for a quick and healthy meal

The food was great. I did have a little issue. One cool thing about this establishment is that they offer fresh fish as a protein option. The mahi mahi I has was prepared well. The issue was that since it has to be cooked when ordered, if they are busy, your order can get lost in the shuffle. It took over 20 minutes to my food because they had to make my order again because they lostmy order.

Our absolute favorite mexican on the island. Food is fresh, staff is ALWAYS friendly, and is a must stop for every vacation we have to Hilton Head. The guacamole and pico are some of my favorites with the steak bowl. All of my kids love it and so do we.

Java Burrito is always a great time. It is better than any similar restaurant due to fresher ingredients and more variety. Java Burrito is somewhere that you just have to visit. Excellent food.

Food was good, coffee was mid, service sucked. We went there twice: take-out first, dine-in second. The people in the food section were mostly polite, but the beverage section had rude workers every time I went. The food is pretty good but it's easy to get bored with their menu. They also give you a TON of food so I hope you're hungry.

Line out the door but it moves quick; got two bowls and a kids meal (cheese quesadilla, rice, beans). Everything is fresh and flavorful.

Insanely overpriced. If you want to pay close to $30 for one tiny burrito and a drink be my guest but be aware there's much cheaper places to go for bigger servings. I won't lie and say the food is bad- its really quite tasty. But it's absolutely not worth the price they're asking for in this economy. You're essentially shooting your wallet for well end Chipotle in a Starbucks aesthetic. The workers are always quick and friendly and like I stated earlier it tastes good, but come on really? Why is it so expensive for something you'll finish in 3 bites? Also I don't know who was in charge of the guacamole line today but if you are going to make me pay nearly $3 for it give me those $3 worth in my food. I don't want some artistic minimalist brushstrokes applied to my tortilla to give me the essence of the idea of guacamole. Give me my scoop of guacamole. It was like they looked at the guacamole and than my burrito and imagined what it would potentially taste like if they applied some and I was served up that concept instead. Also I uber eats from here before and got a root beer and they gave me a mandarin soda instead which may just be my least favorite flavor in existence. I will be back to this place because like I said it does taste good but like. Come on man.

Excellent care and consideration for our severe allergies. General manager was beyond kind and knowledgeable. Wiped down the entire line and prepared our food himself to ensure we were safe. Truly impressed with the care taken for our family!

Flat out the best burrito bowl I have ever tasted. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and the meat comes out piping hot. This operation is impressive. The vibe is good.

Great experience for a cafe. Outside seating view of parking. Not a place for date nite... but nice for a lunch or an early Happy Hour Margaritta! 😁

A great place for a wide selection… we had the burrito, the chips & guacamole, the quesadilla, a bowl with salad. Everything was fresh and portions were huge. We were all satisfied and filled and had two meals out if some of the items. They also offer a wide variety of lattes and coffees, smoothies and other drinks but we did not taste any of those. Notice: They are not open on Sundays.

Java Burrito is always great, and always up to what you want that day.

I came here for a cappuccino. He looked good in the photo. But in reality, this is traditionally bad coffee. Overheated, not tasty...

We were recommended here by a friend and she didn’t lie when she said it was amazing! The food both times we came this weekend tasted fresh and definitely made with care! Such a cool little spot! Coffee was delicious as well. Overall a homerun! Wish we can keep this place a secret but people need to come here and fall in love with the breakfast like we did!

I had a huge burrito that I split between 2 meals. It was very enjoyable. The next time I am in Hilton Head I will go back.

The food is very tasty. Supporting local businesses is what you're doing when you eat here. I enjoyed the cold-brew coffee and their margaritas. Employees are friendly and hard-working. Outdoor seating is also available, and my dog enjoyed sitting out there with us. Come stop by and enjoy yourself in this nice, relaxed environment. You deserve it.

Stopped in on a day trip to HHI last May and the breakfast burrito was INCREDIBLE. Still thinking about it to this day.

Friendly staff, easy online ordering and pickup. Food tastes great and is fresh.

The food here is very good with a limited menu and no table service. As shown in the photos, you select your meal cafeteria style from a wide variety of options. If your selections require further cooking as were our quesadillas, they will be brought to your table. Our two quesadillas cost $26 which I felt was on the high side compared to other Mexican concepts in the area.

We purchased three burrito bows. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The staff were super nice. We will definitely return again.

This little gem is just that. Easily missed but highly recommended. Food and margaritas are delicious. Service is good but has changed. Most don't speak English well so you have to repeat your order and ensure its correct on payment. Mine wasnt. They are very strict on alcohol consumption rules despite selling it/carding everyone. Manager watches every move you make if you dine outside. I assume he's worried about you leaving with the drink. This has been consistent x 4 years. So, hope for table inside or just get food to go if that makes you uncomfortable. A bit pricier now for a party of 4 but offer happy hr specials. 4 people cost me $107 with 1 margarita. At least everything is cooked in front of you and fresh off the grill. Overall, I took away a star for the current changes to staff, service and pricing but still a must-go.

Must go here!!! The coffee is so good and lattes are perfect (not too sweet and not burnt as is often my complaint with lattes at many coffee shops). The options for breakfast are so good it's like a Chipotle but better (who doesn't like breakfast food and burritos at once?!).

We ate here twice during our stay in Hilton Head. Everything was delicious and I loved knowing the ingredients were high quality! They had a line out the door both times we were there but it moved quickly. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Loved the option to add pineapple to my burrito! Margaritas and coffee were great!

Chipotle, Moe’s, or Salsarita’s can’t touch Java Burrito with a 10 foot pole. This is the best burrito / burrito bowl place on the island. Can’t recommend it anymore. The food is always very fresh and high quality. About the only knock is that it can be a little busy at times. Please plan accordingly!

This was my first time at Java burrito and I truly enjoyed my meal.

My wife and I had such an amazing experience here. We were only in town for a week, but we nearly ate here twice. She got a bowl, I got the burrito. We’ll be trying the breakfast next time. It might be one of our favorite places on HHI.

Best burrito I have ever had, mainly because the ingredients were all of high quality, sauces were on point and the braised beef is the best I have had. This place is a forever favorite! Always great food and service! Outdoor and indoor seating. Breakfast is served until 11:00. They have eggs and potatoes to add to your meal. If there are leftovers you can add them to your lunch order.

Customer service at this establishment is top tier. Everyone is super friendly, kind and hospitable. I customized my own veggie burrito and my partner had the steak bowl, we both loved what we ordered. We even came back a second time to try breakfast. I tried the lavender honey latte with avocado toast and my partner customized his own breakfast bowl. The food here is solid and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is cozy and laid-back.

No WIFI. Great local alternative to the national chains. We have been here several times and live this place. Lots of choices and home made delicious cookies. We will be back, often.

An absolute gem! Mexican mocha iced coffee and crème brûlée coffee were so tasty! Definitely going to spike it next time :) food was also awesome. We got a couple burritos and a few breakfast Sammie’s and our whole group was happy. Can’t wait to get back here for happy hour!
