Good food with friendly service.

This was a very horrible dining experience. The manager behind the counter was very rude while placing our orders, used cuss words as well as overcharge my family for their meal on the SLICK 🤦🏽‍♂️.. Once I confronted him He gave a smirk look but never apologize for the error. 😡… ME OR MY ENTIRE FRIENDS AND FAMILY Will be aware of this restaurant and manager behavior as well as will never attended this Facility again unacceptable!!! WE “DONT SALE” GOOD SERVICE BUDDY!! 🚫❌🚯🤯😱❌❌😡

Tried this place since it was close by. Don’t waste your time!!! Roast beef was thin & very dry. Asked for gravy and was told does not come with gravy.. Shrimp poboy was worst I’ve ever had. 11 little shrimp and they weren’t even fried well. Great bread is all I can say. Very disappointed

This is one of my favorite lunch spots, hands down. The service is always fast and with a smile, the Jazz Daddy special is delicious every time (the bread is amazing), the fries are crispy, and the onion rings are flaky and salty.

This place is great. Nice people that run it, clearly a lot of history here. The burger was tasty and a little different from the other spots. But I really enjoyed the shrimp poboy and it's what I order every time I go. The bread is of good quality. The shrimp is evenly distributed and covers the entire loaf. The tomatoes are nice and the shredded lettuce is marinated. Everything works well and I like when I feel like I'm eating a salad when I chow down on a sandwich. The venue is small and comfortable. They play smooth jazz and the walls are full of memorabilia. There's patrons here that have probably been going here for a very long time. I'm yet to have had an issue getting a table, probably because their hours of operation are centered around lunch. Everything here is really nice and you're missing out by not trying it!

Ordered the crawfish poboy and got maybe 20 crawfish for a whole foot long ! Taste was ok but could surely be less stingy with crawfish .

This place was great. The environment was laid back. The food wasn’t the best Cajun food I’ve ever had, but pretty darn good. And the folks working the place are the wonderful salt-of-the-earth kinds. The man running the counter even went out of his way to help an older gentlemen get into his chair. Show these folks some love please. Thank you!

I am addicted to the muffaletta!!

I travel for work so I avoid the chains. I stopped here a couple years ago. Back in the area so stopped again. Excellent food. Nice spot eat inside. It takes a little long but we'll worth the wait. Good things take time. So if you're in a hurry go get fast food. But if you're looking for a great experience stop here well worth it.

Took a long time to get food. Service was so poor I couldn't get a refill. They gave me someone else's food, then managed to find mine and give it to me. The food given to me had tomatoes on it which I carefully informed them beforehand that I am allergic to. Too bad for me I guess. Plus it was 16 for a burger. I recommend you pass this place up.

Showed up at 3:15 and the lady said we're closed. According to the web they close at 4:00 😡

Really good muffaletta and the ice for the sodas is top notch! The wait is a bit long so plan accordingly but it was worth it!

Food is very good. We ordered onions rings they were excellent. I also had the muffalat witch I enjoyed.

Shrimp po-boy was delectable and the muffuletta was simply delicious!! Stopped here on the way to Nola for a quick lunch and boy did we get lucky!! Service was super quick and friendly. Jazz Daddy’s should be on your list of places to check out.

Great place for a sandwich. I recommend the Jazz Daddy Special. Edit: New owner, new rating. Was a 5, now a 3. Been there 2 times with the new ownership, both times were ok, but his place used to wow. I agree with the other posters, it seems like you get a lot less meat on your sandwiches now. Just ate a Half Jazz Daddy special with fries and I'm still hungry.

Worth a trip- The Jazz Daddy sandwich is one of my top 5 in Baton Rouge.

We have been going to Jazz Daddy's since they opened. They have the Nooley Special from Nooley's on Florida Blvd. Now called the Jazz Daddy Special, so good!

This is my new lunch spot, plain and simple. Ms. Kim is an awesome owner and serves great tasting food. There is nothing bad on the menu. Do yourself a favor and try the LSU poboy. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I love this place.

If I could rate Jazz Daddy's 6 stars I would. The owner, Mrs. Kim, is an absolute gem and their food is always fresh, delicious and quick! My company moved in across the street and we eat there 2-3 times a week! The LSU poboy is highly recommended. Absolutely love this place!

I wasn't really impressed with my food but I guess I shouldn't have gotten a salad from a poboy place. It was shredded lettuce and store bought ranch with chicken chunks on top. The chicken was not bad but I'm not a fan of shredded lettuce and I didn't like the flavor of the ranch. I paid 7.50 for a small witch comes in a styrofoam bowl. I do however think the poboy my boyfriend ordered was ok. But don't waste your time on a salad.

I have been in this location for years and had no idea what this place was until they changed their sign and it says "po boy" on it. Thought it was some jazz club or something. anyway, I tried the shrimp po boy and their hamburger. VERY GOOD! I will be going back!

Went here for lunch with some coworkers. I love the food its great food for a good price and the owner is super sweet. Its super cozy and nice place to get some food.

I give this rating at 3 with NO RETURN. Roast beef gravy was like beef broth. One shade thicker than water. Po-Boys are very thin, almost NO MEAT. Good flavor, with NOT ENOUGH MEAT. Over price for food served.. Atmosphere is friendly and courteous, BUT, I found a HAIR in my po- boy. I am bald headed, so I know it's not my hair, LOL. It was disgusting. 4 tiny strips of fish, no thicker than 1/8 of an inch.

I usually like the food at Jazz Daddy's, in particular their burger and fries. Wednesday, I got their chicken-fried steak with white gravy and mashed potatoes. The gravy tasted like wet flour with no flavor. I will not be getting that again.

Mr Jerry is the nicest host. Food is very good, waitress very nice.lunch specials daily. Would recommend to anyone passing to stop in.

Great food, quick service and very personable proprietor.

Pulled off I10 looking for a quick lunch. Thw owner is a really polite and fun guy. On his recommendation two of us decided to split the big Muffaletto, and gave the onion rings a shot. Sandwich was nice and warm, veggies crisp. Delicious! Onion rings were hot enough to burn fingers when we got them, lightly breaded and crispy without being greasy. Definitely saving this spot incase I'm in Baton Rouge again, would love to come back.

Every time I visit from Ohio, this is one of the highlights. Simple, fresh, delicious. Every trip requires at least one shrimp po boy.
