This place, sadly, is on a downward spiral. Since it opened, it has slowly gone down hill. I personally have had enough of paying 22 bucks for a cheesesteak with barely any meat, cheese, onions or peppers. All this in addition to the ridiculous tip grifting procedure. Perhaps Cancro can encourage giving the customer something worth tipping. Too many good markets with great sandwiches to continue hoping that Jersey Mikes gives a hoot. Update- 8/11- Wife stopped and picked up a whole sub ( unknown to me), cut in 4. One of the quarters had zero meat on it. These are not isolated incidents.

Just left. The guy behind the register wouldn’t redeem my free sub bowl, said it didn’t apply. Extra onions. I got maybe 6 slivers. Sloppy meat just thrown in my bowl. Don’t waste your time

Awful I ordered a plain cheesesteak and it came with a dollop of meat and loaded with raw onions and peppers and a bunch of other toppings I didn’t ask for.

This was the first time I had a jersey Mike's, and it turned out to be pretty good. It reminded me of the old days when you went to any Italian deli in the neighborhood, they would make you a really big hero sandwich with oil and vinegar, I think jersey Mike's is going to be my favorite sandwich shop from now on.

Wow, what a difference from my usual Jersey Mike's in Howell. 2nd time, crumbly day old bread and what appears to be a joke with what they put on my $7, quarter of a sandwich (Mini). 1 pickle on each side, 1 ring of onion, 3 banana pepper rings and very little turkey and cheese. Sticking to my usual or going elsewhere. This review will change nothing but had to vent. As I said, 2nd time.

Messed up my sandwich n has hair in it !!!! Horrible service n horrible sandwich. Lost my service hopefully urs too

This jersey Mike's is very good and always very neat and clean, very friendly people work there and we always get an outstanding lunch

I love everything about this place except that you have to ask them to change their gloves after taking money and giving receipts to the customers after paying and touching on the cash register. With all the germs going around you would think that that's a given. The young chick acted like she got mad cause I asked her to change her gloves, but Idc I'm not getting sick cause you don't want to change your gloves. But other than that the place is ran good and clean every time I go in there.

Extremely disappointed in the Freehold location. I am a huge Jersey mikes fan and order from them multiple times a month. This the only location I’ve been to where they put very little meat on the sandwich. This is the second or third time it has happened to me. They do not have the same standards as other Jersey Mike’s locations. I will not be going back there and I would strongly suggest driving up to the Howell location.

Second time our subs had 2 slices of meat at best. Thought the first time was a fluke. For the price this cannot be. I’ll be sticking to the Howell location next to Taco Bell. Howell puts the correct amount on, and then some. generous with their slicing. Freehold needs to adjust!!!

The employees they have now compared to when they first opened is not so good!! Attitudes, no greeting, and sloppy subs!!

This is the dirtiest Jersey Mike's I have ever been in. Bathroom was filthy and there was not a clean table to eat at. We are in our car. We talked to the staff and they rolled their eyes and were truly not interested.

I ordered 2 regular subs a chicken Philly and a club sandwich I requested he used a full hero for both my sandwiches he said we can do that as I moved forward he used the half hero I said nothing the young lady with nose piercings who I asked for mayo on both side of the club kept asking me what else so I told her what else I want and she cut my sandwich in between asking me if I wanted bacon I said it's obvious the "Club" comes with bacon where as God told me this is as much as you can take so I left and went to Shake Shack were I wasn't questioned about do I want bacon on sandwiches that I ordered that came with bacon I don't know what I did or was I to aggressive of expecting what I want from the gentleman with the glasses and the young lady with the nose piercings this was at about 7:50-8 p.m at the 71st continental store

very very skimpy with the meat and they load you up on lettuce at this location. We frequent many Jersey Mike's, even out of state and when I asked why so skimpy on the meat, can you add more, the employee laughed, added one slice and mumbled "Yeah".

Wow! Easy location to get to. Super clean store and fast friendly staff who listen and get your order right! No issues when you make it "your way". This Jersey Mikes store is a winner.

Nothing really stands out about this restaurant. The food is ok, nothing to rave about. It didn't make me sick, so there's that. It's not a great value. Its quite overpriced and it's just a boring sandwich. There is literally nothing unique about the food here. The bread is ok. The meat is ok. And they're stingy too. I asked for hot peppers on my sandwich...they put 4 on it. Four. Maybe they can't spare it. Why bother at that point. The people that work here are pleasant enough. Very nice and friendly and the place is clean enough. So if you're hungry, nearby, and you don't mind the poor value, stop in and place an order. You'll be underwhelmed and disappointed but at least it won't make you sick. Hopefully.

Pretty good subs, quick service

John was of absolutely amazing service! He took the time to accommodate to all of my allergies and answer all of my questions all while having a smile on his face. My five hyper kids also ordered sandwiches and he managed to get everything done quickly. He did everything in a timely manner. I was not a fan of jersey mikes because it has been so hard to accommodate to my needs, but John has changed this experience for me! Definitely will be back soon!

I pick up for DoorDash and the gentleman named Matt is always there. This time when I came to pick up, they were extremely busy and Matt did an exceptional job! I’ve never seen anyone make sandwiches so quickly and correctly. Amazing customer service from him. And because of how he treated the customers, no customer was upset, they actually thanked him for his hard work. thank you Matt for always doing your job to the fullest.

I was there last Tuesday. Man! You got a great staff! Everyone was so friendly! Especially John who cooked the best cheesesteak ever!

I was here at 3:15 only 1 customer ahead of me..I found out Matt is the 1 that greeted me and said..I'll be right with you..meanwhile the guy that cooks on the grill was having conversation with a young man getting off his shift..I order the cheese steak requested provolone cheese Matt set up everything for John to cook my cheese steak sub when John finally stopped BS-ing around I watch John throw away some of the cheese Matt had sliced up for my sub. When I questioned John ( he has a beard) said oh you wanted that on your sandwich..YES because the cheese steak came with extra cheese..after I paid my with my loyalty points and left the store John found it very funny for whatever his reason..I'm only giving 3 stars becuse Matt was excellent ( he was on the register) but this John if that's his real name needs customer service training and also NEEDS to wear gloves when cooking people food. Matt did have his gloves on...I'm going to start going back to the ocean twp or Neptune jersey Mike's..because I never get attitudes at those stores..again Matt was great but John needs training and to also wear his gloves instead of BS-ing around with coworker that's off the clock assit the customers inside the store! Waited 10.mins before he even started cooking my sub when I was the only customer there waiting to be serviced ..another customer came in before I was checked out..Freehold Jersey Mike's needs to do better and hire more people like Matt but my recipe shows the babe Akec

The service is great even when other customers are confused

Jersey Mike's in freehold, there is the convenient app, you can select the sub that you want and all the ingredients that you want, pay for it and then go pick it up at the time that is specified in the app that it will be ready. They used to make sandwiches that are really full so I could justify the half sub price(they call it regular), but now I find myself wondering where the contents are if I don't pay for extra meat. The parking lot is very easy to get in and out of, there's plenty of room and the counter help is friendly. However another drawback is this is yet another place that has added tipping into the payment process. I am picking up an order, why am I why am I expected to tip?

Jersey Mike's is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for; good service and fresh and delicious food.

Can't go 5 stars, thought the amount on the roll was slightly low and the price slightly high, the flavor and the employees willingness to satisfy any silly old fools custom request for sides well those were both OUTSTANDING!

I've become gluten sensitive, so it was great that I could get a tub of my favorite from back in the day: ham, turkey and American, with tomato, onion and mayo. Just without the fabulous roll. It'll have to do.

First time in at this Jersey Mikes. The two young men working were about the best staff ever met. Had a famous RB to go. And best of all, they made it the way I wanted it!!! Extra wet and sloppy... As the staff said; “it’s all about the juice”!!! This is the best Jersey Mike’s establishment I have ever ate at!!! Great job guys!! And yes the sub or for you Philly guys “Hoagie ” was great...

It's Jersey Mikes. can't ever say anything but WOW if you like Jersey Mikes and are a loyal fan. Peak times is a tad tough; but, that is offset by the ability to customize your order 'to-taste'.

As a big fan of Jersey Mikes, I have eaten in franchises from Florida to NJ and I love this one. there is enough help behind the counter to keep the production fast and the listen and pay attention to what the customer asks for so there is no repeating or errors. the meats and extras are fresh and the place is spotless..i will passing 2 Jersey Mike that are closer to my NJ home to get my favorite # 5 when ever I crave a great sandwich

I went in the other day and purchased an Italian sub. I was impressed that they slice the meat Fresh then the next person puts the toppings and the next person Rings you up they were very clean and very friendly. However when I got home my sub was hard I did not ask for it toasted it was a stale hard and was very disappointed in that considering the meat was sliced fresh. I like a nice soft fresh bun for all my toppings to soak into not something that's going to break my teeth.

There is always a night in our house dedicated to a take out night. Last week that night happen to be on a Wednesday. Crazy day at work and hot temps outside didn't feel like cooking. With that said I stopped at Jersey Mikes on the way home from work. Helpful staffers prepared us a Jersey Shore Favorite and a Turkey and Provolone. I grabbed a bag of chips and headed home. Tasty subs that were satisfying to say the least. Not going to lie two giant subs and a bag of chips 32.00 but at the end of the meal it was worth it. And we had leftovers for lunch the next day! Can't go wrong with that.

I've been to almost all the Jersey Mike's in Monmouth County and this one in Freehold is far and away the best one. Friendly service, the most meat on the subs and a nice atmosphere with two TV's.

We wanted cheesesteaks and we got them. They were good but the mayo wasn't that spicy it needed more heat. The price tag for them however was a crusher. Probably won't venture back for that reason alone.

Always quick service place is clean service is always friendly. Handy location east in and out. The best roast beef around!

Call them hoagies, grinders or subs it doesn't matter, go to any Jersey Mikes and order your sandwich Mike's way and you'll taste the best subs anywhere!! The bread is delicious and the meats plentiful and fresh, plus you can earn points for free subs and believe me, after you've had one you'll be going back so you may as well start earning points for free ones!!!

Jersey Mikes makes an Italian Sub with great cold cuts and a great number of toppings...I also had the Kahuna and its hot.

Jersey Mike's always makes a fresh sub. They offer club style with bacon and the typical ones. It's fresh, fast and friendly so why not give it a try!

I always thought Jersey Mike's subs were a little high priced, but after getting one, it is definitely worth the extra dollar or so. They give you a lot of meat on the sub and the toppings are fresh and delicious.

This is a new regular quick sandwich shop located on route 9 south just past the ford dealer. The roast beef is outstanding, the bread is fresh baked daily. The location is always very clean and the staff is very friendly and efficent.
