Not many coffee shops care about plain drip coffee, but Jitters does!! Their drip is a great balance of sweet and bitter. Served hot and quick.

Stopped in for a quick coffee break with a friend before her Eagle River appt.

We stopped in for a coffee and bagel after a morning hike. We had a great time, and the bagel and cream cheese was a 6/5 !!

Cool atmosphere and comfortable place to have some tea or coffee. The London Fog was on point. It is the perfect place to hang out and get some work done or just find shelter on rainy days. The staff was super friendly and professional.

Idk where to begin it was just a bad experience and I wish I didn’t spend my money here, stopped in for a couple coffees and the milk was burnt on both, and couldn’t taste the espresso other than the burnt ness of it, the customer service sucked, everything is do it your self. The girls seemed annoyed to serve anyone or simple answer a “what is a border mocha”?, as I was leaving a tip the guy from the back comes out and is complaining that he only made 80 in tips yesterday and that people need to tip more,I’ve been a barista for 3 years this place and behavior is absolutely disgusting. I wish I could get my money back but didn’t want to spend a second longer in there. The coffee tasted disgusting and the quiche was just burnt cheese drowning in a puddle of grease

I’ve been a Jitters customer since the late 90’s and in my 20 years supporting this locally owned business I have never been disappointed. I’ve raised my children on their toasted marshmallow steamers and their lemon cookies and banana bread are guilty pleasures. What I love most is that this is truly a community gathering place. You are bound to run into someone you know or make a new friend if you so much as smile. They host art openings, concerts and have a conference room in the back for meetings, parties or events. The large fireplace is a cozy spot to plant yourself in front of in the winter, in the summer they have tables out front. And on days when you don’t have time to park and walk in, their drive-thru fits the bill. The have games, WiFi and plenty of tables making it a great location for work or study as well. With few hang out options for teens in Eagle River, it is wonderful to know that they are welcome here as well. Update Summer 2020 - Iced everything is worth visiting their drive-thru even on the hottest of days. Thanks for the lemonade soda and iced green tea Maddie...delicious! Update Fall 2020 - They have Egg Nog (because, don’t let anyone know I said this, Pumpkin Spice isn’t for everyone). They also have a special this week called the Funny Bunny. I gave it a try and it was very yummy! Maddie took care of me again...we talked about binge watching Criminal Minds and registering to vote (which everyone should do) in my 4 minutes there...she has customer engagement down! Update Summer 2021: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread or Berry Scones??? Not a choice easy to make so early in the morning! Thursday’s are $3 12 ounce drinks...of course I can’t seem to function at that size but a great deal if you can. As always, amazing folks who make getting coffee even more pleasurable. Update Spring 2022: I bought my husband and son a gluten free banana chocolate muffin and lemon raspberry scone. I hope the new baker is going to create a delicious option for plant based folks. Looking forward to seeing what new menu items get added! Update Summer 2024: How, after all these years of great coffee at Jitters, Kinzie made me the best coffee I’ve ever had here I am not sure. Perfecting perfection is a great way to start the day!

A bit busier these days, the business is great. Parking gets limited quick, as does seating. Choose your visit time wisely, arrive early for best success.

I grew up coming to this coffee shop, and years later, it is still one of the best coffee shops out there. I love the service, I love the atmosphere, I love making excuses to go to Jitters!

Not sure if they just messed up my particular drink, but I ordered a double Dutch frappe, tasted like watered down coffee. I don’t think it was even a frappe, more like a disgusting melted ice coffee 😭 Such a disappointing experience, but the place was pretty I guess?

I had the opportunity to visit my family living in Anchorage, Ak., and we visited Jitters for some coffee about three weeks ago. It was my first visit, and we came back last Tuesday. The hot chocolate was exceptional, blueberry muffin was incredibly tasty, and the service was awesome! I was blown away by their pastries, coffee, And of course, they’re hot chocolate! The service was super friendly, and really over the top! My favorite place to visit in Anchorage! Well done!

Great coffee, wonderful space to sit with friends and relax. Love the art galleries they set up! And the drive up has been great when I don’t have as much time to go inside.

Classic authentic coffee shop that takes me right back to the 90s. Great snacks and coffee too.

Wasn’t expecting to come in and half the food not be available and when I picked the breakfast sandwich they made us microwave our own sandwhiches because they were cold.

Decent coffee. Took an iced latté. Lots of seating and good WiFi to get some work done. There's also a gift shop next door. Found the restroom to be a bit dirty.

Looking for a breakfast stop, we chose Jitters based on the reviews, and OMG they were spot on!! The coffee, burritos, quiche, bagels, and cinnamon rolls were fabulous. There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly, and we had no problems finding a table for 5. If we lived in Eagle River, I would be at Jitters EVERY morning!

I am sure their coffee and food are decent but their smoothies are not actually smoothies. They are cold syrup “juice” as I learned today. Skip the smoothies and get something else.

Awesome place, came in for the first time yesterday to meet a friend. Drove from mid town Anchorage today for the customer service, coffee, and quiche! Maddie's personality, friendly customer centric focus is beyond reproach. She made me feel like I had been coming there for years. The atmosphere is amazing, tables and chairs along with the large arm chairs by the fireplace and benches make it a fun place to connect with friends, family, or business clients. The entire staff is friendly, who needs Starbucks when you have a business like this to go to! I will be a customer forever! Thanks Jitters! Year 2, still great service, food and experience.

Had the lavender fields special (lavender matcha) and the vegetarian Breakfast Burrito. The latte was pretty good and so was the burrito. The burritos and pastries are grab and go, there's a microwave at the dirty dish station. It had a cute note saying how long to microwave different goodies, and sure enough, in 1.5 minutes my burrito was perfectly hot. You can get salsa and/or sourcream with the burritos, and there are plenty of other options for breakfast too. I loved the interior and huge stone fire place. A great place for a morning drink and breakfast.

Baristas are always nice, food is delicious and the moose mud pie is AMAZING. There is a 50/50 chance your coffee will either be delicious with a good brewed shot of espresso or it will taste straight like poop and old coffee.

This place is great. I want to come here all the way from the valley to get coffee and do work! The atmosphere is amazing and the baristas are efficient and helpful!👏

Seems like great reviews but for me- not so much. The environment is cozy and the staff are quick at getting orders in. We stopped in while waiting on an oil change. It was busy just after 11am. I was so bummed there's no hot food. Cold burritos we're actually gross. They were still cold and falling apart after 2mins in the microwave. I felt bad we wasted money on 3 of them just to put them in the trash. My coffee was okay but everyone else seemed happy with their mocha and hot chocolates. We also got a blueberry scone that was good but nothing to rave about. 🤷‍♀️

Great stop for a nice drink and snack, totally recommend.

Aside from how warm it is inside, I love Jitters and their friendly baristas! My dog loves the pup cup!

5 stars overall, I just don't like when I'm told I can put creamer in my coffee "over therrree." Miss, with all due respect, I'm paying you and tipping you to make my coffee. To quote Bill Burr, "why don't you go over therrree and get it."

This is the go to coffee shop in Eagle River. The trick is to go in and order rather than waiting for their little drive through hut. It also is a nice place to go study or for just a sit down coffee date.

Absolutely best coffee shop in Alaska. Make time to stop in and enjoy! Also have a wonderful gift shop connected to it as well and rooms you can rent for business meetings and such. You can sit back by a fire and sip a cup of coffee!

This place is great, the coffee is delicious, the staff is friendly and happy, and the couple of pastries I've tried have been good. Whether you go inside the shop, or drive through, you get a great vibe from this place, and added bonus of some cool artwork on display for sale. I dig it. Still true, it's been a while since original post, and I still go a few times a week.

Amazing caffeine fix! This was our last Alaskan mud drink before flying home from our vacation. On our layover in Seattle we had to settle for Starbucks, corporate coffee has a lot to learn from Alaska.

Amazing local coffee shop! Warm cozy vibes, delicious beverages, and decent pastries. Jitters fosters an environment of creativity, and is a great place to get some work done. You frequently see people in Jitters with coffee in one hand, laptop in the other. The owners are well-known in the community and their extended family are rooted deep in the Eagle River, Alaska community. Local Eagle River residents rave about Jitters. Amazing family-friendly local coffee shop.

Worst coffee experience in my life. No customer service at all. Was rude about a charity ticket and kicked me out of their store while the manager (owner) was on the phone. So much fun to pick up Charity tickets. Now to get a real cup of coffee at a better run establishment.

Very nice coffee shop, although on Sundays it has a very Christian vibe. I guess that's okay if you're into that kind of thing.

I heard all the rave and it lived up to the hype. I waited to experience it with husband and a visiting friend and we all loved it! Delicious! We went two days in a row before our mini road trips to Seward and other towns.

I love the vibe here and it's a very spacious place to relax and/or plug in (WiFi is great). They have an extensive drink menu and lots of great looking pastries (I believe they mostly come  from other local spots). I like that their chai has the option to come sweet or spicy. I love spicy teas more than the average human. I think it could have been spicier and less sweet, but it was still quite tasty. The coffee/espresso is definitely high quality. It seems to be a popular spot. They showcase artwork all over the shop and I almost wanted to buy a painting off the wall after sitting in front of it for a couple hours! Great concept here at Jitters and worthy of customer loyalty!

A nice place that has something for both the young and old

Mocha lovers! I'm from out of town and when I travel I like to look for who has the best mocha and I found it here at Jitters... Well to be honest they were my 1st stop but if it ain't broke don't fix it... I sipped on that mocha as long as I could and it still tasted great after an hour or so...Came on back the next day with my friends... Well done Jitters in Alaska... well done!

Jitters is always my go to when in Eagle River. The environment is good for studying or working, and the drinks are always fantastic. Not to mention there breakfast burritos are a big hit in my family.

So not only am I upset that the dasher did this, but DoorDash blamed it on Jitters. I’m sorry that’s not their fault and I’ll testify to it. To anyone that orders here, you will enjoy the atmosphere and the food, but go in person. It’s not worth the headache, the politics, and lies with DoorDash. Thank you to Jitters, the staff, and the management team for continuing to make a good product and have a wonderful place to hang-out with friends!

Great place. They have a store and a drive up little old fashioned truck in the parking lot. So you don't have to go inside. Great team work at there store

We stopped by Jitters after a short hike. Found the place, which is located next to a large gift shop, on Google. It was pretty busy, but there's tons of seating. The place was bright and open and warm, staff friendly and coffee and pound cake delicious.

Not big on coffee myself, but they're hot cocoa is really good. Really good place to meet with friends, but everybody knows how nice it is there, so it can be kind of hard to find parking and seating. LOVE the cinnamon rolls!

Wonderful coffee shop. There is plenty of seating in a nice, cozy environment. The staff is very friendly, and the pastries and drinks are very good. My friend and I got a cinnamon roll and a raspberry scone with our coffee drinks, and they were both very delicious. They also have savory food items. Lovely little coffee shop.

Best coffee shop in town/anchorage included. The staff is kind and attentive and they make the best spicy dirty chai. My go to is either spicy dirty chai or an americano. The pastries are all incredible. If you want quality all around this is your stop.✨

Love Jitters! Good sized local coffee shop with a great vibe. The drinks are good and affordable, and I love the food too (their shortbread cookies are 👌). If you get a steamer or a latte, I would recommend asking them to stir it extra or stir it yourself because the syrup and/or powder can get stuck at the bottom.

(Not sure if it's still there) Jitters was my go to place every day when I lived in Eagle River. The girls all knew I ordered a grande Bob Marley White Chocolate Mocha. Took my kids there for a treats and hot cocoa. In fact my husband Ed and I had our first date at Jitters back in September 2013. We met online and 6 weeks later we got married in front of the fireplace. Thank you to the staff at Jitters for allowing us to get married there. And no it wasn't a Shotgun Wedding 😂 I moved out of Alaska in 2015 but thank God you can order there amazing coffee online. Highly recommend Jitters!! You won't be disappointed.

You grab your breakfast and they have a microwave you can use to heat it up. My husband wasn’t too thrilled that you have to cook your own food, lol. But it’s that type of place. Atmosphere is great! Cozy, vintage feel, and friendly people. Very cute.

Lots of non-coffee drinks to choose from and lots of seating. Good place to meet up with a party of four or less. Nice selection of baked goods with gluten free options. Very clean and safe during COVID-19..

I’ve been coming to Jitters for a year now and I look forward to their refreshing coffee and special drinks that they make. Their customer service is always awesome! They have a truck that you use for a drive through in the inside has plenty of space for seating in a nice relaxing atmosphere. As an added plus they have food that you can pick up as well . This is the best coffee place that I know within the Anchorage area!

I’ve been working remotely in Alaska for the past month. I wanted to find a coffee shop I could work from every day that was local. Jitters was the second one I tried and stuck with. Great wifi, atmosphere and staff (who followed CDC guidelines while lots of other Alaska spots did not). As I head back to the east coast, I’ll miss my daily visits to Jitters.

It was ok. Friendly service and efficient.
