Was a wonderful experience and great food. The customer service was wonderful. I brought my cousins from Illinois to eat and the atmosphere was excellent.

I had the pleasure of visiting JJ’s Market & Deli today, and I’m officially hooked! I tried the steak, egg, and cheese wrap, and it was absolutely amazing. The steak was tender, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the flavors came together so well. One of the best wraps I’ve ever had! The atmosphere at JJ’s is equally impressive—relaxing, cozy, and perfect for reading or studying. The peaceful environment made it an ideal spot to unwind. With a wide variety of menu options and top-notch customer service, I found it much better than the typical coffee shop experience. No more Starbucks for me! If you’re looking for a new favorite spot for great food, amazing service, and a chill vibe, JJ’s Market & Deli is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Love this little deli and frequently go there for lunch. This is one of the few that has great sandwiches. If you’re looking for something lighter- their caesar salad is one of the best I’ve ever tried.

Amazing place... super friendly workers. Amazing sandwiches of all kinds just bursting with flavor! They also have a huge selection of off the wall snacks like Clove gum, Stuckeys pecans, THC infused drinks.. and more... including a nice selection of wine!!

JJs Market and Deli is not just small restaurant with amazing food...and a great atmosphere .... it is HOME!!! The owners are absolutely amazing and the most kindhearted people you will ever meet. Most owners are all about the ratings reviews and how much money they can bring in. Not Jill and Ed (NOOO) They actually care abo0ut each and everyone of there employees and customers and it doesnt stop there. that's why they serve only the best meats and cheeses... and the freshest veggies .... breads..... and bakery goods. there show case deli changes DAILY but if your wanting something that's not made as long as its requested with enough time they will make it for you. like I said its not the money with them its about making people happy. this isn't just a great place to eat.... its a great place to bring the family or friends and relax. or even by yourself. have a cold beer or a glass of wine. I would recomend JJs to anyone and everyone. This place become HOME to me at one point and FAMILY ... if you haven't tried them yet what are you waiting for??? YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!!

We stumbled upon JJs for lunch yesterday and already came back for breakfast this morning. What appears to be just a standard deli from the outside is so much more inside. Their menu is amazing, every meal has been delicious, service is awesome and so are the vibes. We quickly agreed this is our new favorite spot for food in saint pete

5 stars is not enough for the food. My Cuban sandwich was TEN stars. The staff is VERY polite and friendly Highly recommend you give this place a try. It is a home run

The owner Ed makes the best most fresh and delicious BLT sandwiches 🥪 this side of the Mason Dixon County Line. This family owned restaurant is wonderful, clean, and a great place to connect. Order with an IPA on tap.

This is a really good place to eat and buy exotic treats.... The staff is really friendly as well as really helpful the food was on point what is the best little cafes around in the atmosphere was wonderful they even have couches in there that you can sit and relax and take your time very homie atmosphere they make you feel like one of the family... And the prices for the food is really good

This has gotta be one the best places to get a sandwich in Florida. Reasonable pricing too for what you get.

My husband and I wanted to treat our nurses to lunch, they work so incredibly hard day after day for our baby, and JJ’s went above and beyond. Not only did they take on a last minute catering order, but they delivered it to the hospital with many extra treats for the staff. We were just blow away at their kindness to the community. We love your food and your support JJ’s!

Somehow they overcharged for 1 sandwich and 1 small bag of chips, over $20 also you don’t get a receipt. I came back to explain that and they didn’t care. It’s not affordable anymore. Every menu item was raised between $2 and $5 additional from previous menu. You can have full meal/ service at a sit down restaurant for these prices. They did not offer to correct the additional miscellaneous fees. Good was good just over priced.

I’ve loved living right next to JJ’s this past year! They have the best drinks and sandwiches. Everyone is so nice and Joe is amazingggg!

I can't recommend this place enough - they truly deserve more than 5 stars. I initially stopped by due to battery issues before heading home over the bridge, but ended up staying for a delicious meal. It's refreshing to find a spot where the hospitality feels authentic and the food tastes just like home-cooked meals. The music was at just the right volume too. A huge thank you to the JJ team for their help this afternoon - you guys definitely deserve more than 5 stars!

Stop in before or after your day at weedon island! Great sandwiches and a fun shop overall. Good selection of craft beers and wine bottles. Always friendly service too. We love JJ's!

There’s no way to understand or appreciate JJ’s from the outside. All the magic is inside. So definitely go inside.

Nice little spot that has always had great food. Now it also has lots of lounge/couch areas to hang out and not just eat in. Usually very quick, always very friendly

4th time here & ordering the BLT (I’m a creature of habit & its soo good) the quality of food and service has been great each time. I love their variety of sodas, beers and wines and all the dry and canned foods to look at while you’re waiting. highly recommend this place 🙂

got a sandwich with chicken and pesto the chicken neither the chicken or pesto or had flavor . it needed to be prepared with some seasoning . if it had any at all I didn't taste it .. never again ! !

I have been here once before as a visitor with a friend & had a good experience but now that I have moved permanently to the area I came for a sandwich for dinner at 6:45 pm only two customers in the building & somehow 30 minutes later I come to the front to ask where my sandwich and all four employees who are currently closing have no idea. I ask to cancel my Marvin Lee sandwich & just get a refund they ignore me and tell the kid who took my order to get it immediately I get told “I don’t know what happened” . The $12 sandwich does come out a couple minutes later but I am a server & when I mess up I offer something immediately and genuinely maybe not a refund but something in place of mistakes esp bc you have so many locals a little something in place would go a long way esp if you are acting as a restaurant just a tip if you want to keep long lasting clientele

Stopped in for lunch today and was greatly impressed. The place is so cute with plants and small games in cozy seating options. Staff was friendly as can be! Lots of fun beers, hot sauces, and other fun items to explore during your short wait on a stellar sandwich

I just ate A KB Melt sandwich and omg it was freaking amazing it’s a vibe and the customer service is great I eat here once a week and try something new. I’m a picky eater and this place is got some good eats can’t wait to finish the menu !

Good Lord this place is awesome!!! I cant even begin to explain how happy I am that I found this place. The atmosphere is awesome, I love that it has a little food mart in the shop and the sandwiches are incredible. The only thing that makes me sad is that it is not down the street from my apartment so I cant go there everyday! Seriously though, if you haven't given them a try do yourself a favor and stop in and order the vito (if you like italian sandwiches). Trust me, you wont be disappointed. They are by far the best sandwich shop in the Bay area.

I lived in St. Pete for 8 months of 2023 and the only regrets I have, were not staying longer, and not finding JJ’s sooner, I can’t eat a sandwich anymore without thinking back about the Club Med. I used to stop in at least once a week with a coworker and we’d sit, drink a few beers, go over goals, and have our sandwiches, he’d always go for something new and nothing was ever bad, I stuck with the Club Med. any time I’m ever back in the area, JJ’s is worked into my trip itinerary, it doesn’t matter if it’s a weekend trip. It’s a guaranteed stop. Hopefully JJ’s will be around for years to come so I can bring my family in when we take vacations to the St. Pete area. Great people, Great food, and great selection of drinks

I just love this little market and deli! Its a hidden gem. The food is great. The spot is casual but cute. And I just love the market of curated specialty foods, wine and beer. So much to browse and look at! The staff is always friendly and food comes out fast.

Best sandwich I’ve had in a LONG time

Walked in for my 1st visit and was pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere!! Customer service was superb....very friendly and went out of their way. I can't wait to go again for coffee and breakfast.

I love this place! It's quaint and quirky. The food is awesome and the wine selection is super cool. I always get excellent service as well.

What a fantastic place!! The environment is so comfortable, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, huge selection of wine, beer, and natural beverages. Food is always super yummy and the prices are really great for what they’re offering. Absolutely recommend this place for locals and if you’re visiting! Cute gift area with candies and items sort of like a small Cracker Barrel store for Florida and organic items. Such a fun little experience all around. They have about five tables inside and a large sofa for seating.

Delicious sandwiches and an extensive selection of chips, drinks and other items. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fast service and comfortable seating areas to enjoy your meal. Highly recommend you give it a try if you haven't.

Turkey and bacon sub was great! So was the service by the young lady at the counter. She even found me vanilla kit kats in the candy jar!

JJ’s Market and Deli catered a 8k running event at Weedon Island and the roast beef was amazing- it was the real deal! A melt in your mouth and bursting with flavor experience.

We cannot thank Ed, Jill and the entire crew at JJ's market and deli for their exceptional and kind help. I was really in a pinch. We were hosting a wedding shower for my future daughter-in-law. Things were getting a bit crazy. I called Jill and she was a lifesaver. She and the crew put together the most delicious appetizer trays and wonderful hot and cold dips. She added the perfect wine selection and even put the dips in beautiful ceramic serving dishes. Jill offered to deliver to the house which was so considerate considering the time crunch. We are extremely appreciative of this over top service. Everything was done beautifully and professionally. We wish we could give more than a 5 star rating. Jill and Ed Leibold thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our day!

How am I just finding out about how good this spot is now??? Wow!! Omg, the breakfast is just unreal. I had a shaved ribeye on croissant 🥐 with scrambled eggs and pepperjack. I want to give it more stars.. Do not sleep on this little corner spot!! Gourmet sodas and drinks too, along with all the other incredible items here to get. Damn!

I’ve been going to JJ’s for awhile and always had an excellent experience! This time, I felt the need to leave a positive review - I ordered food via phone and when I went to pick it up it was down pouring. I was on the phone in my car, and the lady inside must have thought I was waiting for the rain to stop. So she grabbed an umbrella and came out to my car to see how she could help. I thought that was extremely generous of her to do!!!! The staff is always so nice, helpful and attentive. Highly recommend the Gobbler!!

I just had the Hipster with my own modifications and it was soooooo good. Hit the spot, I don't feel gross or overly full. The sandwich wasn't all sloppy with the filling falling out which is so nice. I got chips and an Olipop for $15. Love it and everyone was super sweet and nice and easy to order with.

Really cool really unexpected has to be seen. You have to go here and look inside it's not what you expect. They had a drink I haven't had since I was a kid "New York Seltzer" I ordered the Reuben sandwich for the test and it was the best I ever had.

Thank you so much for being open after hurricane idalia. Prepping frantically the last few days, not eating meals and running low on sleep made this meal even better. We got two sodas (they have a wide and rare selection of drinks always), two giant homemade cookies, a bag of kettle bbq chips, a hipster sandwich and a Reuben sandwich. Thank you thank you. Hope your family home fared well in the storm.

love JJs! ordered a sandwich on Uber Eats, got delivered but had marker coming thru, called the manager Ed, and he made it right (figuratively and literally) by driving 20min out to where i live with a new one. Now THATS above and beyond service! And yes, they got rid of the markers.

You see it every time you drive the Gandy...stop in! I was so happy that I finally made my hubby stop in. The store is really cute & full of unique snacks and drinks. Plus you can order sandwiches from the deli or sample wine in the back!

This is hard. JJ's has been my guilty pleasure for years. I have driven 90 minutes to this deli, 4 times a year. My husband and I consider ourselves lucky to have found such a hidden gem. I expect inflation, but the sandwiches we received today were so sub par. My Pesto Panini had one slice of fresh mozzarella and one and a half slices of tomato. I didn't realize until I unwrapped my to-go order, when I arrived home. To make the sandwich correct, I went to Publix to buy extra fresh mozzarella and pesto. So disappointed. The Palma Ceia sandwich was mostly correct, but the volume of ingredients was far less than what we are accustomed to. We spent over $50 total, $20+ on 2 sandwiches, and they were just disappointing. The other items we purchased were shelf stable items, so no regrets. The staff is so kind and we love frequenting this local business, but please return to your quality standards in terms of ingredients and quality. UPDATE 8/6/23 Went back today to give this place another try. Same sad experience. Pesto Panini had a few small chunks of mozzarella. I paid a lot of money for tomato on a roll. So disappointed.

The staff is above and beyond friendly. Made me feel welcomed and appreciated. The food was delicious. We ordered the BLT&E and the chicken salad sandwich. We will definitely be back the next time that we are visiting the area.

Sandwiches are still good when you can tell how they've changed since the original owners left most of the staff is really friendly just had one encounter with one at the register that left me feeling very uncomfortable and wanted to leave overall pretty good though
