Really great idea to have a little express coffee shed! Love the ease of access for drive through. I got a vanilla latte w/ oat milk (just ok; kinda bland) & chocolate covered espresso beans (ahhhmazing). Would return but would try another sweeter/more flavored coffee! Only other idea for improvement would be to modernize/ update the shed to make it look a little more appealing to customers.

We got a pumpkin cold foam and the workers were more than happy to serve us! Thank you for all your hard work.

Literally the BEST smoothie I’ve ever had!!! I tried their Mango Pineapple smoothie and it was sooooo creamy and delicious!

I had a fantastic experience at Joe Beans Coffee! The beverage was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The team was incredibly friendly, especially Lauren, who went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable, and help me discover a new favorite. Highly recommend this place! 10/10

Good take-out coffee location. Came here twice. So far, the only menu I had were one of their signature drink, a sandwich and a smoothie. Their signature drink was delicious. The smoothie was okay. Both on the sweeter side, so I would recommend going when craving for sugar in the morning.

Joe Beans has always been my favorite place to go for coffee. Every time I go to the one on wards, it is always room temp, I get a mistó which is half coffee and half steamed milk. It’s always room temp. I suggest more training because there is always someone new at the window.

This is completely drive up and order from your vehicle. It's very fast and convenient. There is a nice variety of coffees, lattes, frappes, smoothies, etc. The muffins are delicious. My only complaint is that I wish they offered a drink menu to view before getting to the window for those unfamiliar with the choices. Always excellent service and great coffee.

Check your beverage before you leave! My visit: Dec 28th. One hot latte was room temperature & the other beverage was suppose to be a 3 shot, 16oz seasonal hot beverage, but lacked the espresso and the flavor. I hope more TLC goes into each drink, even if it’s around closing hours. Be Best! Every drink counts and tells the customer how much you care!

Good coffee but rude girls !!! A lot to pay for coffee to have your servers act rude !!!

Long drives out of town are already hard enough, but this convenient location has been available in a pinch twice now for me. The first time was an early morning and I just needed a coffee, and this morning I had their sausage and egg breakfast croissant and it melted in my mouth. The service has been super friendly and one of my supervisors talks about how amazing this place is all the time, and it's not hard to see why. Big name stores may have their hype, but there was a warm and comforting at home feeling about a local coffee shop.

Drive from Ohio to Patrick Henry's Red Hill often, and Joe Bean's on Wards Rd is a must stop no matter whether I'm traveling north or south!

I love joe beans. I go to the one in bedford all the time. I have gone to this joe beans 4 times in the last 7 days and they haven’t made my drink correct once. I tried to explain to the girl the last time and she wanted to argue with me. Food service is tough I get it but that’s a little ridiculous.

Yeah. Huge Joe Beans fan. This place single-handedly turned me from liking coffee to loving it. The simplicity gets me. I don't want to have to get out of my car to get a cup of coffee that I'm going to drink somewhere else. The staff are nice but I can jam to my own music instead of awkwardly looking at my phone inside a coffee shop. Genius, I'd give it 6 if I could.

Otw home to NC from WV stopped here and got two of the most delicious cups of coffee and a spinach & feta brioche that was equally as good. The young man that helped us was polite and gave good recommendations!

Emily was amazingly polite and courteous.Emily not only greeted me with a smile, but I observed her do the same for other customers as well. Emily was also patient and kind. These attributes and behaviors are very rare in our society. Emily definitely adds value to your business.

I normally LOVE Joe Beans and their coffee and I am usually not one to complain... however, I was not at all impressed with the staff this morning. It was soon after opening that I showed up so I give them the benefit of a doubt that they were tired... But I hope they don't continue to wear long faces and have dull expressions today! Hint, hint, 😉😉: Please open a drive through by us in the Elkton/Harrisonburg area!!!

I absolutely love the coffee and drinks here! I am also severely lactose intolerant and when I get my drinks I ask for oat milk.. A lot of your employees don’t listen to the fact that I ask for a different milk and make it regularly. I do not have the money to waste on drinks I can’t tolerate. Please remind your employees that just because someone asks for a different milk type it’s not because they are being difficult. Some can’t have dairy and I am one of them!

Joe Bean's has the BEST coffee anywhere. I prefer their's over Starbucks and Dunkn. They have a punch card that allows you to earn a free drink so be sure to get one. The workers are always nice and it's usually not as busy as Starbucks. They, thankfully, have stands all over Lynchburg (and I even found one in Altavista!).

I love Joe beans,. I don't know how they do it but the temperature of the coffee is always perfect!!

Great coffee with great service, never a bad expirence

I need my morning kick. Staff is always so friendly and I just love the energy drink they make. Pomegranate coconut is my favorite flavor. On these colder days, I generally get the Matcha Latte. So good. Even when there is a line, it always seems to move pretty quickly. Don't let a long line discourage you from checking this place out.

Great drive through coffee shop with some food goodies to boot!

This little coffee drive thru is part of a local chain. You will see their shacks all across Lynchburg. Service: excellent . The young ladies who take our order are always polite. They make the coffee quickly and serve it with a smile. Quality: excellent. I have tried all my regular drinks here, Carmel macchiato, iced coffee, and their smoothies. Each drink is delicious. Price: reasonable. Their prices are equal to or less than similar quality coffee shops in Lynchburg. Somethings to note: 1) this is a drive thru only 2) this is locally owned and operated 3) the website menu doesn’t always match what they have in stock

Young people serving us were so polite, helpful, and took initiative. Coffee was excellent and price was great too. We are from out of town and found this right along our route through town.

Finally stopped here for the first time, even though I've been passing this place for well over 1-2 years. There are always cars for a reason. Joe's beans is a little coffee shack with reasonably priced cup of coffee that I would consider to be good quality. Other features: other items to eat and order besides just coffee as well as a friendly staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying Joe's beans.

What a busy place! No wonder - as we were leaving Lynchburg we had a hankering for good coffee (not Starbucks), and this appeared to be the place - always a little gunshy about trying new coffee so we ordered smaller sizes that we instantly regretted! I had a very traditional Vanilla Latte and it was perfection! I hate that you guys are nearly 300 miles from my home and my last family member just graduated from the University nearby - but, if I am ever in your area you’re going to see me again. I am dreaming Joe Bean’s and have talked it up so much the last few days! Y’all were busy, but everyone in that little “hut” was hustling and bringing their “A” game - no eye rolls, tsks, under the breath remarks for unsophisticated pronunciation of a coffee order - or dealing with pouty baristas judging everyone that comes in for a brew. What a relief to find great coffee served with a smile and a thank you!

The coffee has a great flavor and have yet to have a brew that was bad. So good I stick to the drip coffee instead of sugary drinks here.

Honestly, this spot has some of the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had, including in Belgium. So glad we pulled over on our road trip for this! Coffee was great too.

This is an required stop for all visitors. They have extremely strong coffee, their blended mocha is chuck full of strong coffee. Their regular coffee is strong too! As a strong coffee lover this place is a must!

My son and I LOVE them. We take a thirty minute trip from Chatham pretty frequently to get us some coffee and hot chocolate. Always friendly and the drinks are delicious.

Really bad long term patron. Always have had a great experience. Today was different ordered Decaf Almond Milk Frozen Bunny Hop waited for 3 remakes and all were bad undrinkable. Have ordered the same drink at Appomattox , Timberlake, this location and Altavista in the past for around 2 years. Not sure what the issue was today. I did get a refund but that was it.

Good coffee on a cold morning. A little light on flavor from the espresso. Definitely better than Starbucks as far as what we ordered in our opinion.

Great little drive-thru spot to stop for specialty coffees if you're traveling on 29 north or south through Lynchburg. Very friendly employees and quick service!

Great selection of drinks, which are always tasty. Good milk-alternative options. The staff are the friendliest, and they have animal crackers for the kids for free. I think the only suggestion would be to up the baked items options/quality. Can't go wrong with the coffee, though. Best place to get a good drink on the go in town, for sure

I have never been able to stop here, but have heard lots of good things. This past Friday I was in Lynchburg and had the opportunity to stop. I had the sugar-free hazelnut latte, and it was delicious. I will be making more stops as we will be visiting Lynchburg often.

While it seems like just another one of those little coffee shacks on the side of the road, Joe Beans is anything but that! The staff are always super friendly and willing to make whatever you need. If you're looking for a great quick drink, grab one of the iced jumpstarts to give you that extra shot of caffeine to keep you going. Drinks are reasonably priced and served quickly. Can't go wrong!

I have had every "Temptations" brew on their menu (that should be enough of a review). Here are some of my favorites: Almond Joy Banana Nut Macciato Be Mine Mocha Frosty's Favorite Mounds Peppermint Patty Shamrock Mocha S'mores Snow Plow Warm and Fuzzy Warm Winter Fire Wintry Mix Winter Wonderland Obviously, I like dark chocolate. The Birthday Cake shake is divinity itself. I avoid sugar, but once in a blue moon I order a small and drink about a quarter of it. I also buy their coffee and their brioche. The prices are going up soon. I would pay double. This is where I treat myself.
