Joelle’s is a gem in the Northland. Her scones are amazing. So many flavors-my husband & I cannot wait to try them all! Joelle is friendly and very welcoming. Stop in for a baked treat. You won’t be disappointed!

My cousin and his wife recommended this place when we were in town for a family gathering, and said it was out of this world and that I would be able to get gluten-free scones if they called ahead and put in an order. My cousin sent me the menu and told me to pick one, and after narrowing it down from the over 80(!) different flavors, I settled on blueberry with lemon drizzle. We went to eat there/pick stuff up the next day, and it was indeed, out of this world! The scones were incredibly soft, and the flavor was so good I ended up ordering some more from the batch she made so I could take them home to Nebraska with me. (She also apparently can do mail orders, which is a dangerous proposition as I would get these again in a heartbeat if I had money to spare.) I did not expect to find a place that does gluten-free scones, but if you're also suffering from a gluten-intolerance, I cannot recommend texting or calling her and putting in an order enough!

Ms. Joelle, I don't know how you do it but everything I got today was phenomenal! The kids loved the quiche, and you have the best scones I've ever had. Ican't wait to try the tres leches later today 😁We will definitely be back!!

Joelle's scones are the stuff of dreams--fluffy, moist, and available in more than 15 flavors. No cream or jam needed. Every time I visit the shop, I'm greeted with a smile and new flavors. Her shop is a little out of the way but very worth the extra five minute drive off the highway. Get the sausage and cheese scone for a great quick lunch and chase it with a blueberry lemon one. You won't regret it.

This bakery is a hidden gem! We have tried a variety of scone flavors, both savory & sweet, and everything has been delicious. Joelle is always so kind and friendly when we stop in too! Support a local business and go check this place out!

Absolutely amazing experience, and I couldn't recommend this more. They were kind enough to stay open a few minutes past closing for us, and the service was very pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed all the sweets and savory flavors, but we especially loved the cinnamon rolls. If you have the chance, definitely give this business some love and support.

I discovered this gem a week ago for some last minute scones for a girls tea. Words cannot accurately describe how incredibly delicious these scones are! So much so I placed an order for my Mothers Day brunch a couple days later. These scones are just bursting with flavor and are so moist! An added bonus, the owner Joelle is so sweet and personable. Highly highly recommend stopping by and trying some, you wont be disappointed.

Had some family in from out of town and we decided to stop for brunch. There were many different flavor of scones to choose from. We had four of their savory scones filled with bacon, sausage and cheese and two of their sweet blueberry scones. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back to try some of the many other flavors. Joelle was great and you can see her passion for baked goods.

I placed an order for a family gathering on a Friday morning and Joelle responded right away! A few items were not available, but it was all good because Joelle was able to suggest alternatives and everything was so delicious. The scones (both savory and sweet) are to die for! Even after a few days, just pop them in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and they’re still soft and yummy! My family enjoyed everything we received. We will be making frequent trips to get our fix. Joelle is a beautiful soul. You can tell she takes the upmost pride in her business. She truly does bake with love. The store is so welcoming and the customer service I received was wonderful. I came to get some gluten-free scones for my daughter. And I also picked up a variety box of scones for the rest of my family. Wow! They are so good! We can't wait to come back in and try more!

I would include a photo of the cheddar bacon mini quiche I bought from Joelle's Bakery if I could, but I already ate it! Joelle is an incredibly talented baker and her love for baking is obvious in every bite! Joelle's Bakery is a hidden gem off North Oak TRFWY. A MUST VISIT! SUPPORT LOCAL! Quiches, cakes, scones of all kinds (sweet AND savory varieties! there's even a pizza scone!), cupcakes, you name it. Everything in her case is warm and freshly baked... it's hard not to get one of everything! Don't even get me started on her ganache. I think she takes orders too, so consider calling Joelle's Bakery for your next baking order instead of the grocery stores!

I happened upon Joëlle’s when I was visiting KC just before Christmas because I was out with my 4-year-old granddaughter who needed a snack. What a wonderful surprise! Joelle’s scones are made in heaven!! They are not like any scone you’ve ever had. Every flavor melts in your mouth. My granddaughter begged to come back with her grandpa. We feasted on more scones and breakfast burritos. We couldn’t wait to be back for Easter, so we could order for Easter morning. The food is truly baked with love!

The sweet scones are everything you would want in a traditional scone and the savory scones are a wonderfully satisfying whole breakfast option. Been here many times. We got our daughters first birthday cake here! Joelle made us a personal smash cake and it was excellent. If you want a scone with any flavor you can think of or a tasty breakfast burrito Joelle's is the place to go.

Joëlle really goes above and beyond for her customers. I live in San Antonio, but have recently had to travel to Minnesota a few times to take care of family. My son and I are both gluten free, so I texted her about a week before we were going to be going through Kansas City so see what our options would be. She had said she had a few available that were frozen and I was ok with that, being gluten free you get used to frozen pastries if you don’t make them on your own. The morning we got there she had made a fresh batch for us which just about brought me to tears with how thoughtful that was, especially since I was already expecting frozen and had agreed to that. Not only is she the sweetest and has amazing customer service, her scones are hands down the best I’ve ever had. I haven’t had any scones since being gluten free, but these beat all of the ones I’ve had in my life before going gluten free. Super moist, great flavor, and fresh ingredients. I made another stop out of my way this week on another one of my cross country trips. When I say I don’t even stray off of the frontage road usually, I mean it. Going out of my way is totally worth it to be able to experience her scones that are obviously baked with love. Thank you so much for being a light in this world Joëlle.

Last Saturday my husband wanted a sweet treat for breakfast so we took off to a donut shop in the northland we stop at once in awhile then I remembered seeing that there was a bakery on north oak that had scones we had seen and read about on Facebook and Google and it was a family owned business which we love to support So off we went to find Joelle’s bakery. Little did we know we were destined to go there. We met the owners and had the most wonderful dessert experience. The scones were melt in your mouth delicious and the atmosphere the owners brought with them to their bakery was 5 star. We were treated like family and they were gracious enough to share their story of how the bakery came to be. Joelle and her husband warmed our belly’s and our hearts. Can’t wait to go back and try one of everything and see their smiles that make you feel so welcome. They are a blessing to have in our northland. We have new friends for life If you have never had a scone then you must stop in and try one and if you have then you’re in for a real sweet treat at Joelle’s Bakery.

If you have not enjoyed Joëlle's yet then you need get there the next time she is open. Every single item I've had from Joëlle's has been beyond delicious. If you thought to yourself, "I don't like sweets". Well you're in luck. Joëlle's also makes a ton of savory baked goods as well as things like breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, quiche. Oh and forgot one of the best parts, it's reasonably priced. She could easily charge like $2 more dollars on every item and still be fairly priced.

Like a warm hug, walking into Joelle’s is a wonderful thing! I live two hours away but make a point to stop in anytime I’m in the area and stock up on the mouthwatering mini-quiches, savory scones and sweet scones! The scones freeze well (maybe quiches do too, who knows? Mine get gobbled up too soon to try to freeze one). I keep them on hand for an excellent treat and when they’re all gone, it’s time to run to KC again! And Joelle is so welcoming, she makes me feel like we’re old friends…and she is so patient while I choose this, and that, and oh! two of those and four of those….highly recommend this lovely bakery with its cases full of goodies!

Our family had a wonderful visit at the bakery. My daughters loved picking out their own cupcake & cinnamon rolls while I was so torn over which scone to choose. My prior experiences with scones have been dry and bland but this experience has totally changed my mindset and I LOVE scones. She creates so many different flavors, it's hard to choose! If you're looking for a KC local establishment to support, you must stop in.

My mom and I found Joelle before she even opened her store front at an event she was at. We shared a scone, and both of us said that was the best scone we’ve ever had.🙌 We’ve been hooked ever since. My fav is The chocolate peanut butter scone. The biscuits and gravy and burritos are wonderful too but you can’t go wrong with anything you get from her. She always has friendly smile and happy to see you.

I've lived within walking distance of the bakery since it first came about. Always wanted to try it, when I did I couldn't stop coming! Always a friendly smile from Joelle and it is obvious she loves what she does and is passionate about quality of her goods and the service. I've had the scones, both sweet and savory, quiches, cupcakes, biscuits and gravy, and pumpkin crunch cake (fall time fav). I always thought I was a sweet gal, but I highly recommend those savory scones! The Cheddar Bacon Sausage and Pizza ones are AMAZING. Sadly I moved so my frequent trips there are no longer, but my parents live over there and I look forward to still stopping in!

Lovely shop, lovely owner, lovely selection of treats!! On my first visit I got a variety of savory and sweet scones as well as two pastries to try. Everything was fantastic. My personal favorite is the jalapeño cheddar scone. But it was all delicious!
