After seeing all these recent “one star” reviews, I had to leave my two cents. Some of these single star reviews should target the order delivery apps they used. Newsflash: Want it done right? Get in the car and go get it yourself. Not the restaurant’s fault that the delivery apps screwed it up. Other reviews are laced with poor grammar and seemingly lack ability to put together a coherent statement. So I wouldn’t give those very much credit either. What I WILL say is the pizza here is very good. Crispy crunchy crust, not a lot of flop, even with my extra cheese order. The sauce tastes great. Zero complaints with Joe’s Old School Pizza. If you want a good pizza with no gimmicks, THIS is the place to go. If you’re reading this review with countless others, just go and experience this for yourself. After all, you don’t let movie review critics stop you from seeing a movie you want to see, right? Then you’d just be a lemming.

Not the Pizza It Used to Be I used to love ordering from this place, but my latest pizza was a real disappointment. The crust was super thin and tasteless, more like a tortilla than pizza dough. The sauce was way too sweet, which just didn’t work. On top of that, the pizza fell apart when I tried to pick it up. This place used to be great, but it’s really gone downhill. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

I ordered 2 huge pizzas with a drink for $8.99 and got 2 regular slices with a drink. I will never order from here again! False advertising on the Uber eats app!

There is nothing “New York” or even Italian about this place anymore. More of a Mexican attempt at basic Italian American food. I ordered a chicken parm sub and got a chicken tender, some cheese and ketchup on a lightly toasted hoagie. No Thanks!

I am a New Yorker and always crave New York-style pizza. This place is amazing. Brings great memories of pizza from my hometown and pizza is exceptionally delicious and in my option perfect!

Crazy expensive and kinda stodgy. Grimy place. Pizza not the worst but not authentic and very meh.

I love pizza and always said Steve’s pizza was the best on Biscayne blvd and 125th st…until now! If you are close to commercial blvd in Hollywood I highly recommend trying this spot, Joe’s old school pizza. Nelson the pizza expert has concocted a special sauce that’s is hands down the best and a crisp thin crust! This guy does pizza right!

placed an order on GrubHub, it was accepted, prepared and enroute for delivery. one hour in and I get a message stating that my order has been cancelled by the restaurant because they are no longer taking orders. poor management of the grub hub application and service. waiting an hour to eat dinner for naught, only to be back at square one.

The service, price, atmosphere and location are all good. Wish the pizza was better. The pizza seems to have gotten smaller and worse over time, they keep making it smaller and thinner, it's now like a cracker. There is nothing "huge" about these slices. Stingy. Nice staff.

Walked in and walked out customer service was horrible the woman at the front was on drugs. Didn’t greet anyone and had no knowledge in the menu glad I didn’t spend any money here. Not one guest in site…..

We get takeout just about every Friday night and the pizza is very consistent. I Hope they're here for a long time to come.

I sat down to order pizza, but the pizza guy started knocking on the table, calling me and asking what I needed. When I said that I hadn’t ordered anything yet, he asked me what I was doing here and why I should leave. Terrible service. Respect yourself and order from a place that respects you.

I picked up a family at MIA✈, and the kids were crarving pizza. This establishment sells "slices", the first two pizzeria's were whole pies only plus a 25 minute wait. Jump off of I-95, east on Sheridan, south on US1, on the right ... Easy in/out 👍

Ordered from Joes on Christmas Day for the first time and it didn’t disappoint! Will be back again soon.

It an interesting fast food type of pizza place. There is covered outdoor seating. The pizza has thin, doughy NY style crust. Reheats well!

This is not a traditional style pizza joint. It is a converted drive thru store with indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was more outdoorsy and not cozy or private. The pizza was average at best. The dough tasted cheap, and the sauce was sweet. I did not like it. You will have to try it and decide for yourself.

Perhaps the worst pizza I’ve ever ordered. Worse than elementary school cafeteria pizza. Did someone say Sysco?? Service was good, outdoor seating, spartan, but outdoor seating 👍.

I decided to try this place. I had spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce some garlic rolls and a Coke. By far the best thing was the garlic rolls. The spaghetti and meatballs was not bad. It was just average. I ate inside the restaurant... And let's just say it was very bizarre!! Obviously this building used to be some type of a mechanic shop, so what they did was they just have the garage door open and tables and seating inside. Which is okay however there was a very strong breeze which was coming right through the building and I had to literally put an anchor on my napkins and everything else so it wouldn't blow off the table!! Like I said that was very bizarre. I don't know if they had any restrooms available if they did maybe they were outside but I didn't see any. I simply wanted to try the place and I did I don't know how the pizza is because I didn't have that. But again the garlic rolls were excellent!

I kept hearing about this place, and passing by, I decided to stop in. It's not really a dine-in environment, although the do have a few tables, the place is completely open to the outside on two sides. I just wanted a slice to go anyway. The staff was pleasant and friendly. They have huge slices (I had them cut mine in half. Picture is one slice). For 6.99, you can get two huge slices and a drink. The best part was the pizza. It had a great flavor, NY style thin crust with crispy edges. Definitely try it if you're in the area!

This is probably one of the last places left in Hollywood that serves amazing old-school pizza. My husband and I love the cheese pizza here, it is perfectly made. The Zeppolis are the best you will find in Hollywood. If you were looking for something delicious and affordable, I recommend Joe's Old School Pizza.

Pizza is good, not great but good, but the attitude of the big lady in the front is nasty, there was nobody in the place but I laughted a little too loud and she goes to me “ there is someone having fun here but keep it low “ like I said, it was only me and my wife. Pizza may be good but I will never put my feet in this place !!!!

Pizza stills good, I come here often. Today, I purchased the special 2 huge slices with soda to find out the slices are not huge anymore, just the average size.

I had to wait until the employee finished using their phone before I got their attention during my visit. The 2 plain slices i received were tasty but were smaller than I expected. Decent place but could use a boost in customer service skils. The 2 slice and soda special was great!

Pizza is really good but buy the whole pie because a slice can cost you $4.59 that's ridiculous in my opinion

It broke my heart 6years l been coming here the pizza men that's making the pizza must have been on Crack my meat ball hero was great l waited for two pizza for l total hour. And then it was small and cold. Now l Decided to go to the pizza man in Hollandale. Sorry Joe you got bad employees.

They really do make the best Pizza , Garlic rolls and chicken parm subs. Even their meatball subs are phenomenal ! I love how open it is so u get good vibes and their cashier's are super nice.

Awesome pizza. Perfect crispy bottom and crust. The overall taste is great. The owner is from Jersey. I come from Miami just for this pizza. Hands down...my #1 pizza spot. Customer service is top notch Update April 2023. Still top notch service. Quality is very very good. Would be even better if they can carry juice options for kids.

3/16/23 Just stopped by to get the lunch special. Absolute trash of pizza. 7-Eleven makes better Pizza. Crust was bad sauce to cheese bad. End part of slice taste like toast hard and empty. Cheese taste like Dollar Store cheese cheap and not much taste. I would buy my pizza from here years ago now I'll just wait till they sell the place to someone who knows how to make pizza...

Who doesn't like anything old school? Stop in for a quick two slices and a drink the old school way. Huge thin slices makes you coming back for more.

The cashier was very nice but the cook was rude! When I asked for a box for my slice he rolled his eyes and sucked his teeth.

They have great dishes.. we got a large cheese pizza and it didn't taste that great..the dough and spaghetti sauce is bland and a littIe dry...ended up eating garlic knots which were yummy with fresh garlic and oil...

Look for your pizza elsewhere..Terrible customer service, , had take out twice in last then 10 days...the pizza guy is is ready to fight you, as you owe him something, ...it took literally 7 min for the lady at counter to acknowledge me and ask me "what do you want!!!"

The most delicious pizza I have ever had in my life. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Employees were nice and pleasant, the establishment was clean and the food was affordable and delicious. Not too much sauce on the pizza which is perfect and the crust was nice and crispy. My mouth is watering just writing this review.

Ordered the Spaghetti and meatball parm dinner. It was DELICIOUS!!! Came out quick and hot. Meatballs were tender without falling apart. Best Spaghetti dinner in a long time! Cashier was awesome too!

If you ask someone if they want to eat there and they say music is too loud or I would, say ok and turn it down. No one else was in the place except one customer outside. I love local and like that it’s outside especially this time of year. Different music playing outside vs inside.
