UPDATE: So it's been five years and here I am again for a meet up with friends. And nothing has changed. Service was good and the patio was nice but the food was mediocre. My cowboy burger was dry and tasteless even though I ordered it medium. The custom homemade chips were way over done. I didn't bother to eat them and didn't finish the burger. This is probably one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Review from five years ago: While the service was very good, the food was mediocre to just OK. I ordered the Fiesta Fettuccine. The serving is huge to say the least and I couldn't eat half of it. That's not a good thing. I didn't want a meal for two. It comes with chicken that didn't have enough seasoning and shrimp that had far too much seasoning and it seems the fettuccine noodles could have used a handful of salt for flavor. How do they manage to make noodles so hot they burn the inside of your mouth? My plate was only warm but it took a few minutes of blowing on fork fulls of noodles to cool them down. My wife had a roast beef sandwich which she said was good enough but not something she would crave to come here for. A bit after we placed our order, we were asked if we wanted bread and butter. "Sure", I said. I now know where all of the closed down Shop'n'Save's bread went. Joey B's must have scooped them up cause that's what they tasted like. But this place was busy. I don't know why.

Food was great. Large servings. Outside patio was amazing. Service was good too. Big glasses of water.

I visited Joey B's for the first time the other night, and it turned out to be a great experience. I went with the meatball sandwich, which was excellent, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were just as satisfying. The service was also top-notch, making the whole evening enjoyable.

Brunch is fantabulous! All you can drink for 25 bucks stops at 3:00 p.m. starts at 10:30.

Our first visit. We ate inside, but they had a beautiful outdoor patio with lots of natural shade. Although the parking lot was full, they were seating and serving patrons quickly. Our burgers were cooked just as we requested and delicious. The onion rings are incredible. We had a party of 7 so called ahead, and management held a table. Our group shared an amazing piece of chocolate cake to end our meal. We'll definitely return, and I think we'll try the brunch!

Dinned in for my birthday yesterday and got the steak modiga sandwich and side salad salad was massive but heavily over dressed and the steak was mostly grissle couldn't even eat it but appetizers were good and I think everyone else enjoyed their food

Went to enjoy the patio on a beautiful day. Great patio and that's where the great stopped. We got three appetizers and they were not good. Toasted rav was burnt, dipping red sauce was cold, mozzarella sticks were not cooked through cold in the center. Just not good. Not the same it use to be.

The stroganoff was sour, I had no dinner and received $3.50 off the charge of $17.99.

The gluten free pizza is fantastic

Quiet even with busy Manchester road while sitting outside. Couldn’t even hear Manchester during rush hour. Nice live music. Lots of shade and fans manage the 90 degree temps well, very comfortable outside. Pizza is a square St Louis style. Menus is a mix of Italian, pub, burgers. Could use a couple more local beer choices.

It was our 1st time and we will be back. The pretzel bites and jalapeno poppers are to die for

The fried chicken dinner is run as a special on Sundays. Great value and great taste. It comes with 4 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and a biscuit. The chicken was moist and tender. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes, smooth and seasoned well. Next time I’ll ask to hold the gravy. The green beans were overcooked a bit. The biscuit was delicious. We sat outside on their incredible patio. Our booth had its own ceiling fan which kept us cool and kept the flying bugs away. Our server was also the patio bartender. She gave us outstanding service.

Nothing great or special to say...decent food at a bit of a high price point for the offering.

Dog friendly patio is lovely. Our guy Charlie made everything great. Super chill and came by more than he needed to. Brought the pup a bowl of water as well. Food was above par. Burger with fried egg and both were cooked perfect. Buddy got the meatball sandwich and it’s massive and super yummy.

I had lunch here with a friend a few days ago. This is the 3rd time I've eaten here in the last couple of years, but the food has never been great, just OK at best. I got a salad with added grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was so dry I could barely eat it. The salad was totally bland with iceberg lettuce and not much else. I've had something different to eat each time I've been here, but the food would never cause me to return. The outdoor patio is nice, and the service was good, but let's face it, if the food isn't great, most people don't return.

Went here on a recommendation from a trusted friend. He’s no longer trusted. I was told to get the pizza. We did. And it was not good at all. Terrible to be honest. They charged me $26.12 for a “large” two topping pizza. And there was one pepperoni and one sausage on each piece and they charge $3.50 a topping. Wild. Lesson learned. Will never go back and I don’t recommend anybody who goes there to get the pizza or you will be terribly disappointed, as we were.

Absolutely loved this place they have delicious food, we enjoyed in our visits the Trashed wings, Nonna's toasted ravioli, and the Cowboy burger, the staff is so friendly and the atmosphere invites to chill, it became quickly one of our favorite places.

Beautiful day so we ate outside. Service good. Large portions. Also had side of creamy slaw and an order of potstickers. Definitely would eat there again.

Love their pizza, thin crust, lots of sauce and plenty of toppings. House salad is incredible, slightly sweet and flavorful. We always sit at the bar so atmosphere is not what appeals to us.

Our waitress for lunch was awesome! Really like their wings and onion rings.

We came here on a beautiful warm day in February to find that the patio was open! We were sat immediately in one of their awesome booths. We ordered the pasta and salad special that was on their new lunch menu. Both of our salads were huge and delicious! The lunch portion of pasta was so good and we had enough to take home for another meal! Bonus points for the huge drinks and yummy Italian bread and butter. We love this place!

Quick business lunch, but everything was right on.

We had lunch on the patio. How fun. It wasn't too hot or too cold. The server recommended several items he enjoys. The strawberry lemonade was very refreshing.

We went for brunch & ordered crab eggs Benedict & it was very disappointing. Took my boyfriend at least 15 minutes to get his orange juice. English muffin was doughy & not toasted at all. Both our potatoes were extremely greasy. His food was cold; mine was lukewarm. The amount of crab they give you is decent, however. I asked for cooked onions in my potatoes, which they forgot. When I told them - they brought out a bowl of raw green onions LOL Will not be going back for brunch.

Good service, drinks, appetizers and Italian American dishes. The mozz sticks, toasted ravs and drinks are above average here, however the standard pub fare here is average at best.

This was my first time eating here and I am impressed.The server was super friendly, and they really made us feel welcome. The outdoor patio is the kind of place where you can kick back, enjoy some delicious food with good company. But let's talk about the star of the show – the pizza! It was seriously amazing, with that classic STL style that hits the spot just right. If you're in the mood for fantastic pizza and a laid-back atmosphere, Joey B's is the spot to be!

Salads are good in house. We ordered carry out and it was mainly lettuce. Very disappointing.

My friend has been recommending Joey B's for years, so last week we finally Gabe them a try. We called the order in and we're given a time frame for when the food would be ready. We all know things happen in food service so we left a little later, to give them more time. When we get there, a full ten minutes after the time they gave us, our food still wasn't ready. They were busy though, so fine. We can wait. Thirty minutes later our food, FINALLY comes out. It toom them well over an hour and a half to get us our food, and at LEAST 40 minutes past the promised time. Whatever, hopefully it will be good. We get the food back and my friend, who RECOMMENDED Joey B's in the first place, was shocked at the lack of seasoning on the fries. So we all go in the kitchen and do our best to season the fries to a point where they have something resembling flavor. My brother was underwhelmed by his steak sandwich. My burger was serviceable. Not seasoned at all but it was cooked all the way through, so they get credit for that. My friend, who is very vocal about her food, didn't say a word the entire meal. I am being pretty generous with the 3 I'm giving Joey B's ONLY because they were slammed on a Saturday night. Nothing tasted bad. I will go back again, hoping for a much improved experience.

Sadie was my server and she did a fantastic job! We went on mother's day which of course was crazy but she accommodated my 3yo with some colored pens bc they were out of crayons, she took phenomenal care of us and made sure we were happy with everything. I was very impressed with her ability to keep up with everything considering how busy it was that day. Always love Joey B's but next time I go, I'm gonna ask for Sadie bc she was so awesome. Thanks Sadie!

This is a great restaurant for a casual but lovely dining experience. The patio is beautiful, the food is consistently good, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

It was my first time here. I had the meatloaf, and it was very good. Also, the portions were generous. Our server was fantastic!

Very disappointed order a Dr Pepper for my drink and the waiter told me it was going to take awhile to switch out the soda only had one drink and the waiter could of taken the soda off my bill I am sorry that’s the first time a restaurant I ever been run out of soda I been a steady customer to the place maybe thinking twice before going there again ☹️

This place is the greatest! We love sitting on the patio in a booth when the weather is just right. Food is pretty good. And portions are HUGE! Service is usually pretty good. I've never had a problem. They are usually crowded on Friday's early evening between 4 and about 8pm.

We did a delivery order. Food was great & hot. There were no napkins or utensils with the order.

Everything I've tried on the menu has been great. Service is above average. Environment is fun.

Chicken Spiedini sandwich was amazing as usual. Fries were trash. They brought me out new ones. They were trash, too. Maybe they were just stale or something. The 2nd batch was at least hot. But still, chewy trash. It's a shame to pair such an amazing sandwich with fries such as those. The guy next to me at the bar received his food at the same time. So the bartender, Lindsey asked him if his fries were ok. He said, "Yes, they were." Then tried another one. He then proceeded to dump half a bottle of ketchup on his fries so he could choke em down. Then, he didn't even eat anymore. He should of just said his fries sucked too! Lol, but I digress. I'll just order the tater tots from now on. *SIDE NOTE the cook brought out the 2nd batch herself and set them down. Then looked at me like, "how dare you question my fry cooking ability." What kind of intimidating trash was that? The fries sucked, deal with it. Try harder, or even better, don't try, just do. You know, like Yoda said.

Longest wait ever. We just went someplace else

The food at this place sucks compared to the Joey B’s on The Hill. The comparative standard is about -7 and it’s nearly unbelievable that these are the same restaurants.

No complaints at all. Server was very professional and made sure our glasses were never empty. Food is always good.

First, the waitlist thing lied and said there was no wait. Then we were told 15-30 minutes. Then 15 min into it they said it would be soon. 45 MINUTES LATER, we were somehow still stuck at #2 in the queue. We had hungry little ones so we were forced to leave. Guys, figure it out. Terrible experience.

My girlfriend and I arrived about 7:15 was told of a 45 minute wait. We both have been wanting to try their food. So we decided to wait. The hostess took her name and phone number.The phone number was repeated 2 time because both of us have out of town numbers. So we just went back to our vehicle where we were comfortable to wait for a text. We waited an hour then decided to go back in to see how much longer the wait was. We were then informed we were called 30 minutes ago and when we didn’t respond. We were removed from the list. Called and talked to the manager as was told we were called. But the number they called was the wrong number. So there was nothing they could do for us. Ruined the experience

Always split a salad - they're huge.

Great food and service were excellent. The only problem was there was a dead fly in my pasta, but they did everything to correct the problem, but it was too late. Appetite was gone. Thanks for trying to make it right tho.

Salads were good. The shaved brussell sprouts were excellent. The Reuben sandwich could have been better, the meat was tough. The service was excellent.

You can’t go wrong with Joey B’s. Most of the food is quite tasty, and the portions are large.

I was with a group of 10 for a work team gathering. We all enjoyed our food, the server was very attentive and the place was packed. I’ll go back again.

Have been here several times.. food is always hot and plentiful. Prices are a bit steep , but its west county.... we had 8 people.. wait staff was spot on.. kitchen somehow missed my meal.. waiter caught it pretty quick and came up with a decent lie... oh yours is just taking a bit longer.. its was chicken and mashed potatoes and green beans.. not sure what happened, pretty sure mine was completely missed... but everyone else was half finished with their dinner.. so they all had their leftovers boxed up ready to go before I had 4 bites.. would of been decent for some sort of discount on my dinner.. but oh well.. everyone at table had drinks except my mom and i.... overall it was a good experience and at least my food was hot and delicious..

Food was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had a problem with my order or the service. I make it a stop every few months when I travel to St Louis. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area!

Don’t order the pesto pasta, it’s nothing but butter

I visited this location and we had a rather large birthday party. The service was excellent. Blaze did an amazing job accommodating us. The food came out fast. I had the potatoe skins and bacon cheeseburger. Half of the potato skins seem old but everything was hot and fresh. I would go back again and try the patio when the weather is warmer.

This is the fiesta fettuccine and the BBQ nachos. There are successful restaurants in STL that specialize in nachos, none of them can touch these nachos. The toppings are layered, so chips, toppings, chips, toppings, etc. The entire mountain is delicious. The salsa is more like Italian sauce than Mexican salsa, but it's also unnecessary because there is so much cheese and meat, you don't need the salsa at all. A large person can live off one order for about 4 days. They literally couldn't put one more chip on this plate without it falling off. You can also replace the BBQ beef with chicken or beef, if you prefer. The fiesta fettuccine was very tasty. The cajun blackened shrimp were cooked perfectly and the grilled chicken was tender with good flavor. The sauce was creamy and tasted "comme cela devrait être"...as it should. The pasta was what you'd expect from an Italian themed restaurant. If you haven't been here before you should make the trip. Four people ate for about $100, and we all ate about 1/3 of our plates and took the rest home. IMHO, this is a fantastic value. They have a great outdoor seating area that's fun. Heated in the winter and fans in the summer, plus fire pit seating. Last thing, I've been here many times and the service has always been a nice balance between attentive and too attentive. At times, the servers have been really fun...they clearly love their jobs. I'm struggling to think of a single negative, other than when they're busy, parking can be a challenge.

We ordered a large tray of pasta con broccoli, that was over $95 and it was so dry and unappetizing (curdled) looking that several people didnt even try it. I called the restaurant for suggestions on what I could do because it was already being served and honestly, I was embarrassed by it. It was suggested that I use half and half in it and the gal who answered did offer to bring more cream. But people were already on their lunch break and it would have taken too long. It was way too much money and I regret that this was my choice for a holiday luncheon entree.

Maddie was amazing, we came for a friend’s brunch and Maddie was our server who was absolutely amazing. What a great atmosphere and menu, we even saw Santa!!! Maddie was so attentive and great. We had such a great time. What a great atmosphere. Thank you joeyBs for such a fun time.

Got the Cowboy burger and it was awful. Patty was tasteless and unseasoned, the fried onion portion was ridiculous, and the cheddar cheese was the worst of part. It looked like they put cheese whiz all over the burger. It was nasty and very disappointing.

Disappointed with our Joey Bs deluxe pizza. Bacon was undercooked and fatty. Sausage had little to no flavor. This pizza has always been great.

Came here for happy hour with a friend! For apps we had the MOJO wings and the fried cheese bites! They were delicious. The Brettmen burger is what I had for dinner tonight and it was cooked and prepared perfectly (This is a picture of it in my Togo box). Our waiter Doug was so attentive and really great! Will definitely be here again

Outstanding food, staff and atmosphere

It took 20 min after the time they told me to arrive for one pasta dish. A beyond long wait for a mediocre dish. Provided no utensils, no napkins, no bread and luke warm food, all for 32 dollars.

I play shows here and they always take care of me, loving and dedicated staff. One of the OG’s of Saint Louis and unlike “Garvey’s” they actually were one of the first people to make trashed wings.

Went for dinner 8:30ish pm. Place was clean and nicely decorated. We ordered jalapeno burger w/ onion rings, chili and tutto mare pasta. Burger and onion rings are good. Chili was ok. Pasta was subpar. It was a huge portion of very bland pasta with white cream, 5 small shrimps and a bit of mushrooms. We asked to check if the chef maybe forgot to put crabmeat and clams. Server went in then came back to announce that chef said it's all there. We asked if it comes with bread. The server went in then came back to announce they have bread but its not hot anymore so if i want she can bring some but it would be cold. It felt weird. I don't think we will come back.

1st time to eat here. Was impressed by what this place had to offer. Dine in or out, bar inside as well as outside. Our server, Blaze, was attentive but not overly attentive. Once out food was ordered it didn't take too long. We both had burgers 🍔. I had fries and there were plenty.she had the homemade chips, which were incredible 😋. We split a house salad 🥗. They serve Pepsi products. We got there between lunch & dinner and was seated right away. We have tried to eat here before but they are busy most all the time. Went for happy hour. The happy hour food was pretty disappointing. The onion straws were tasty but no bargain. The nachos were very disappointing. $7 for about 15 chips covered in cheese sauce and some jalapenos. A friend got the burger n fries for $16 and was happy with it. Drink prices were ok.

The food is massive In portions and it tastes very good. I was actually speechless when the pulled pork nachos came out. The salad could easily feed a serving of 4. The prices are very great. The atmosphere is good if you’re into sports and classic rock music. I took my teenager so he was appeased. The service was slow but I genuinely think that’s the type of atmosphere, slow to enjoy the meal. We left with 3 overflowing to-go containers. I would recommend, especially if you have a large crowd. There is plenty to go around.

We were a party of 8 Saturday September 30th. It was a birthday and everyone of us are in or have been in the restaurant biz!! Jacob was our server. Nice kid. The restaurant was not busy and yet it took 40 minutes for our food and you could tell it sat in the window for longer than it should. The patty melt toast was hard as a rock, the fries were hard and cold and tge gravy on the salsbury steak was so salty. It took 20 minutes to get 3 glasses of wine and an iced tea. There was absolutely no sense of urgency with Jacob wanting to get us taken care of. I told him when we got there that we were all in the business and he would have a great day with us. Dirty plates sat in front of us, watered down tea, empty water glasses, no silverware when food came. It was disappointing to say the least. Jacob also needs to learn the menu and know how to do suggestive selling. Again.....nice kid but the rest needs some work.

So much fun, great bar to watch college / pro football. Great time of year to sit outside( my fav). Great for a late night bite w the Mrs . And a night cap! Great place to watch sports and have a beverage with your grown kids, great father/son place To catch up, make sure on the right path, and to create memories! I don’t think there is a better one in the area! Just Go!

My wife and I love the wings, but my wife would like a salad and that makes it better for me because I get more wings when she eats a salad. The problem, salads are reasonably priced when you buy a hamburger but try to get the same deal with wings....forget about it. Most of the salads were in the $10.00 range. I said something to the waitress and she wouldn't take it any further. So we just got the wings because we're not paying $32.00 for 20 wings and then an outrageous price for a salad. If you bought a burger and salad it would come to about $16.50. About half the price of our 20 wings. Other than that the food was excellent. The staff was great. All in all the four of us had a great time. As far as going back? Not if we want wings and a salad.

I got the pork tenderloin sandwich which was excellent. Seasoned excellent and no gristle. He had the hamburger which was quite excellent. Great beef flavor.

Picked up an order that was called in from my son and daughter in the hospital. They ordered a Pizza. Waited 40 minutes past the time given and was the totally wrong order. Very poor and unorganized staff. They were busy, but tell people that if something with be ready by 6pm it's not 6:40!

Great place for beer and some straightforward American food.

We stopped for lunch August 27, 2023. There were six people in our party. Jayson was our waiter/server and he was very good. Items ordered by our group included: pulled pork nachos, mushroom swiss burger, fried chicken salad, blackened grouper, spaghetti and meatballs, and 2 orders of cannelloni. No bread was served with the pasta orders. I think $20 for cannelloni without a salad or bread is a little high.

The food is always exceptional. I told my daughter here for her birthday dinner after having a bad experience at the place we actually went for her party. It was a nice rebound to the afternoon. It’s always pricy but you get a lot and it’s good.
