I just found this place recently and decided to try based on all the good reviews. But I’m very disappointed. The maple cream sticks were very dense and chewy. The ends were actually hard to bite through. They tasted stale and maybe previously frozen. The cream was a basic crisco tasting filling. The peanut butter ones were a bit tough as well but the frosting was good. Maybe a Wednesday was the wrong day to visit. The lady behind the counter was nice though.

Best donuts in the Akron Canton area. Just wish I didn't live 30 minutes from them, but totally worth the drive! Since moving here from Indianapolis, we had struggled to find GOOD donuts at a GOOD price. You'd think there was a jubilee of options here in NE Ohio, but all I found were decent donuts at a high price at other places. Johnnie's reminds me very much of Long's Donuts in Indy; delicious donuts at an affordable price.

Purchased a whole pie. Reasons price. Delicious. The family loved it.

They have good Donuts and great cakes and some homemade bread

My family loves Johnnie's Bakery! We come once a month on Saturday mornings for donuts. It's always a great selection. I have ordered cookies from here, and they were wonderful. I look forward to ordering more sometime! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend them to everyone that loves donuts and cookies!

It's ok. Some might say the best bakery first time at this place the doughnuts I got were good & got some peanut butter cookies they were ok we all have have different tastes but don't get me wrong the person that attended me nice enjoy the doughnuts

Their donuts are fantastic. Always fresh and delicious. I particularly love the cream sticks. The peanut butter cream stick will put you in a sugar coma. Anyone who has been in the Canton area for any amount of time knows how great this place is. You get the same great service and product from both locations.

Johnnie's Bakery has best doughnuts I've ever had. The staff is very friendly and the store has a nice old school bakery feel. They even have items for man's best friend. They also have cakes, cookies and cupcakes.

If you have never ever had a sugar cookie from Johnnie's Bakery you are missing out for sure! They are hands down one of the best sugar cookies me and my family have tasted! EXCELLENT!

Mmmmmmm Johnnies……not the cheapest donuts but one of the best. Every now and then they have some crazy creations like a glazed donut filled with cookie dough….I might of had a few to many of those. Can’t go wrong with a peanut butter cream stick…

Love this place! Excellent donuts and friendly people. Just wish they were open later and made more of the most popular donuts. But I still stop every time I am in the area and they are open.

Got the Christmas cut out cookies with the buttercream icing, decorated so cute! The snowmen, Santa, Christmas trees and a glazed snowflake. Delicious! So soft and tasty! Even after having them 1 week, still so soft and delicious 😋 Best place ever to get your cookies!!!

Was not treated very nice or bad it was 10 minutes till closing and they was not caring enough to give us any type of a discount 10 minutes till closing COME ON SMH 🤔🤔🤔👎👎👎👀🥯🫓🥖🍰🧁🎂🍪🍼🍼🍼are you gonna throw it away or sell it the next day ??????

Great donuts but they are not bargain prices. A dozen will cost nearly $20. Each donut is priced individually so it does depend on your selection. We chose a couple apple fritters, a blueberry fritter (loaded with filling), a couple glazed, a stuffed peanut butter long John style donut, and cruellers (the best in my opinion). It was fun to cut them up to sample. Enjoyed them but can't afford them very often.

Donuts were very good. We went about 1:30pm on a Friday. If we had have gone sooner in the day the donuts probably would have been even better.

Probably the best donuts around. Had a cake from there years back and wasn’t a fan of the icing. Probably should give it another try. everything else I’ve had was pretty amazing though.

The people working there were really nice but the cake decorating looked like something you would see on a tomb stone...very dated and bland decoration on the cake.

Their food is amazing. Hands down!

Best bakery in the area. They baked my wedding cake 16 years ago. Now that I have realized that there is a North Canton location, I will be visiting more often. Recently got some tasty donuts and cookies for Valentine's day. Always consistently good.

My wife and I recently discovered Johnnie's Bakery and now have been there multiple weekends in a row. Their glazed donuts are amazing and huge. You can't go wrong with the quality of donut at Johnnie's. The staff is always super nice as well.
