Unsafe and not good pizza. They made me use an ATM to get PHYSICAL CASH because they wouldn't take card in 2024. The pizza wasn't even cooked thoroughly and all the toppings fell straight off in seconds. The bacon on top was also undercooked. Would not recommend.

I can't say enough positive things about John's Pizza. We had the house salad and a large pizza. The food was incredible. True NY style pizza - fresh and very flavorful. But even better than the food (which was amazing) was the owner. He knows the meaning of the words customer service. He went above and beyond to give us a great experience. He's extremely personable and a delight to talk to. If I were a local, this would be my go-to pizza place.

After moving from New York to Connecticut, I really missed my NY pizza. That changed when I found John’s Pizza. Wish I’d tried it sooner because the rave reviews are spot on! It’s the best pizza around, made by John himself. The white pizza with ham is amazing, and the buffalo chicken pizza is loaded with chicken like I’ve never seen before. Can’t wait to go back! This is what I think of when I think of pizza — thank you John!

A small eat-in/take-out restaurant serving Italian food as-well-as pizza. Hard to find a place in Danbury that serves an actual New York City tasting pizza. Friendly family owned/operated business. They can even accommodate a group. Try it out! Just a heads up - John's doesn't accept debit or credit cards. However, there is an ATM machine inside the restaurant so that you may get cash there. Be advised, there is most probably a charge for using the ATM.

The Vegetable Slice was amazing, all toppings was fresh and tasted like hand picked and made that moment.

The chicken pasta had no flavor. It was the worst pasta I ever had. The portions are large, and the bread the supply also has a large portion. I called ahead to have the order ready for pick up. They never had it ready. The place is cash only. The staff are not friendly at all.

Wow. I had never been to John's before. Was looking for sicilian pizza. I needed a "forklift" to get it to the car. Ordered the special, cause it was my birthday. Did not dissapoint. Best sicilian I've had. Crust soft, tons of toppings. Lots of flavor. Will be back for sure. Outstanding! Thanks!

These brothers know how to do pizza! Stopped in after reading the reviews and now have my go to pizza place. The meatballs there are amazing. They're a must have topping every time I get a pie there. If you're in the area, check this place out, you'll be happy you did.

I have lived in Danbury for 11 years and have tried at least 15 different pizza places around town. Today I decided to give John’s Pizza a try and oh boy was I surprised! The crunchiness was perfect, the taste was amazing and the cheese was on point. Needless is to say that I highly recommend this place to everyone and I will visit many more times!

Here is a place where the food is ALWAYS GOOD, the portions are ALWAYS HUGE, the people are ALWAYS FRIENDLY. Food is always fresh. They make their own dough. And slice up all their toppings. FRESH !! Excellent pizza. They offer other dishes like lasagna , chicken or eggplant parm , pasta , meatballs.. antipasto etc etc. They sell whole pizzas or by the slice. Just 1 slice with topping is a meal. The slices are huge !! Sicilian is our favorite here. The toppings are the most generous I have ever seen and their prices are fantastic !! Salads are fresh as can be. Beer and wine served. This is a small family business that has been in Danbury for years. If you go to Johns you will become a lifer. Yes a customer for life. This is a small and a bit hidden restaurant . A hidden GEM !!. Don't be fooled . This is truly the best restaurant around. Like no other. Its all about the food. Not frilly. Just good food , giant portion and great value !! Plenty of easy parking . I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've got here. Their pizza is terrific, rich crust, generous toppings. Their portions are also generous in everything. Fresh bread baked every day, and everything made in house. It's like a home cooked Italian meal, I cant pay John and his brother higher praise than than. It's a gem, and worth going back to.

I go there when ever i am in the area and its always great food, service specially they treat you like family.

To be honest I was not expecting this place to be that good. It is hands down one of the better tasting foods I've had in the danbury area. Their calzones are MASSIVE both in taste and size. Pizza also really great. Can't wait to try more.

This is so much more than a "Pizza Joint; it's a gathering place for families, friends and foodies alike. John is such an amazing guy. His heart is massive and he really cares for people. All the above aside, this is a place that serves FOOD. Not premade, preservative laden products which resemble food. The slices should be called platters. My personal favorites are the Barbecue chicken and ziti slices. Warning!: Hold them with two hands. A slice with toppings can EASILY weigh over a pound.

The food is awesome here. We always get great food and great service. It's small inside, but it's like you're family, so you don't mind. Love the pizza and the homemade salad dressing the best, but everything else is good too. The only thing to keep in mind is if you order by phone and they tell you 20 minutes, it may actually take awhile longer. But you can chat them up and have a slice while you wait.
