Excellent dinners and priced right

We went for the Puerto Rican cuisine. Everything was delicious and authentic. Pasteles was amazing!

My family has been coming here for some time. But unfortunately, our last visit here was quite disappointing. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food, which should have only taken 20 minutes to make. We ordered one Stromboli and a calzone. JR came out and asked who was complaining about the food. I told him that no one was complaining, but we had been waiting for quite some time. He pretty much called me a liar and didn't apologize or offer any type of discount. I asked the waitress if he was drunk.. she said maybe a little. Smh.. food is delicious, but the time management is horrific!

The food is quite delicious, but the staff and the service they provide is very bad. I ordered something with my husband to eat at the place and I don't know how the person who served us understood that she was taking away. When we are sitting at the table waiting, she goes and says that it is difficult for us to eat there since the waitresses have an order and a mechanic, something that I did not understand. I told him no problem then he would give it to me to take away and he said no, it's fine for us to stay. Behind us we saw how she served some Americans totally different from the service she gave us. I was left with no desire to return.

One warning, they don't make pizza. The worst pizza in Florida. Ready-made pasta, supermarket tomato sauce and bad mozzarella. Think of bad food! It literally went in the trash. They use soybean oil! Don't waste your time or money. A frozen pizza from Publix is ​​less bad. I threw $30 in the trash. Frustrated, never more!

After living in FL for 7 yrs & frequently driving past J.R. Pizza Bella Restaurant, we finally decided to give it a try, even though it’s been around since 2011. It’s a small, charming spot that we initially didn’t have high expectations for, as there aren’t many Puerto Rican food options nearby, & sometimes they don’t impress to be honest. But this place is AMAZING! We were blown away by the food. Though I didn’t capture pics of everything we ordered, we enjoyed alcapurrias, bacalaitos, pastelón, mofongo de pollo, chicken alfredo pasta & of course the pizza. We had to compliment the owner & chef, J.R., on the quality of the food. He’s Puerto Rican & Italian, just like my hubby & kids 🇵🇷🇮🇹 We knew right away by the taste that he uses high-quality cheese. He sources Bacio brand cheese from a distributor who imports it from Italy. I’m thrilled we finally dined here—it’s definitely one of our new go-to spots, & it’s only 10 minutes from home. Despite my previous searches for Puerto Rican food in the area, this place never came up. I just have to spread the word about how fantastic the food is. Especially to my fellow Puerto Ricans & Nuyoricans living here, check this place out ASAP! Puerto Rican food & NY style pizza ❤️

Wow!! I have been here several times and the Puerto Rican food is amazing!!! This place has one of the best mofongo in Florida it’s so good. The quality of the food the quantity and the price all is on point very fair. Food also come with a delicious salad they bring out as an appetizer. The owner is so nice always comes around to see how everything is doing. When I call because I’m coming with a big group he always finds a way to accommodate us. The servers are so nice and friendly all the time. The atmosphere is amazing so many cool things around the restaurant. I love this place, I come here 1-2 a month with my family.

Everyone should stop by and try their pizza, mmmm crunchy or cicilian. But their other dishes have been found to be very salty. Specially the Spanish manu, way too salty. The dressing was too sweet, and today people are watching their diet. The cost of food is high and it is not good to throw away food you just bought, exactly what I did. Could not eat it too salty.

They make great NY style pizza.

If you haven't been here, you're missing out. Both the Italian and Puerto Rican food are amazing, seasoned just right. Serving sizes are greattttt. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the decor is charming. WOW, I'll be back.

As soon as I sat down I remembered why I don't like this place. The food is meh and the service is bad. Plates of nibbles were left on our table with no indication to what they were and and it wasn't easy to decipher. Cold and dried out food. There is so many other places around, don't bother with this place... Rude hostesses, pushy servers who leave you waiting. Bad, bad, bad I won't be back. P.S. I am not sure if they switched owners but it has gone down hill from food to service. Be aware of opera music that will blast your ear drums if you get in a 50 meter radius of this place.

went in here to ask if they were hiring, the manager called me a name in another language and walked away.. I didn't even differentiate myself as a job hunter yet. He was eating a pizza on the cutting board with his bare hands, he looked dirty and strung out. I asked the lady working and she told me to ask him. So I went over to him again and he flipped me off and said something under his breath in about 2 seconds. He didn't know who I was. I could have been a customer.. This man was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! The worst experience ever for a restaurant.. this was a very old man, maybe 80-90, he was extremely rude, and honestly he will probably be miserable and lonely when he dies. DO NOT SUPPORT this place!!! They don't care about their customers!!!! If you do go to this place you will see what I mean, and you will leave feeling attacked.

Had the absolute pleasure eating here and the food was incredible! Had the pleasure of eating from the Puerto Rican Menú and boy o boy it did not disappoint! I was easily transported back to my island while eating the food and forgot for a moment I was actually in Coral Springs! Everything was fabulous! From the garlic rolls, salad, pizza, chicken parm, pork chops, mofongo, just OH MY GOD amazing! Will definitely visit again!

Was there last week for dinner and the food was delicious..ordered pizza tonight and as I'm waiting the young girl preparing a take out order was just grabbing food with her hands and no gloves on putting it the tin dishes and taking it out and putting it in another one..then taking food from the bowl and putting it in her mouth...very unsanitary..UNFORTUNATELY WILL NOT GO BACK..SAD it was a cute place

Everyone's experience is different. I go there all the time, my son loves the food, the owner and the staff are very pleasant, the food is excellent, clean, very calm environment, good music.

Had dinner with the family, 5 adults 4 children, started with wings that were delicious, followed by a Chicken franchise, Italian sauce on gnocchi, pizza, cheese sticks, everything was delicious. Will definitely return❤️

Picked up so cant speak on atmosphere. Went for the puerto rican menu but did see the pizza and it looks right. The puerto rican food was like whoa. Rice perfect not sticky properly seasoned. Bacalaito fried o the perfect crisp. And I cannot tell you about the rest. Because I'm on my way there now.

This place is a hidden gem . I've passed by here many times and finally decided to try it. The pizza is awesome, there are great lunch specials and the food is amazing, really good size portions great meatballs and the owner is a really great guy .Definitely my new go to place for Italian .

Puerto Rican Mofongo! I've been twice; once with my bf and another with my parents who came from Puerto Rico for the holidays. They loved the mofongo. Mom said “this is what traditional mofongo is!” Loved the chicharrón. And the cilantro broth on the side. They got thrown away! Twice and the food was super hot, delicious and tasty! The soft mofongo with chicharrón and cilantro broth! ❤️❤️ Well done!

The food and service is excellent every time we go there. We typically get the Puerto Rican dishes that they offer but their Italian food is also very good! We have been going there every week for the past 2 months. Excellent every time.

I ordered food for take out. Chicken Francaise is my favorite Italian dish so I found online that Pizza Bella has it on their menu. When I arrived to pick it up, the restaurant is a very cozy little restaurant which I found super cute. My meal came with garlic rolls which were soft and delicious and a salad (I ordered a ceaser). Everything was extremely delicious. I can’t believe I live less than 3 minutes away from there and this was my first time trying this place!

The pizza is fantastic! I decided to stop by because I always see it on my drive home and it’s probably some of the best pizza I had outside of New York.

First time here and the pizza was amazing, flavorful and delicious. Best pizza in Coral Springs hands down. I’ll definitely be back to try the other food options they offer. Do yourself a favor and visit this place ASAP

Amazing place, my husband and I are constantly ordering their chicken franchise!! The best one we’ve had. Since our food experience has been amazing we decided to do our baby-shower catering with them and let me tell you!! The service and food were beyond expectations!! Our guest loved it. Best pizza by far in the area. Friendly folks but the service can be a little slow. Other than that great atmosphere, and you don't get the feeling they are trying to rob you. Please visit this little place if you love pizza, great value, and a family atmosphere.

This time I had the Mofongo with pork chunks.

I was excited and happy looking forward to Puerto Rican food. I ordered 2 Puerto Rican items. My friend ordered fried calamari. She asked if it was heavily coated, told by a lovely waitress, that it wasn't. It came, and it was heavily coated. Main problem was it tasted fishy, and was so tough she couldn't even chew it. She tried to send it back. A man came out who said he was the boss. He chastised her telling her maybe she wanted rubber bands. It became loud, and I lost my cool, I cursed, but that was after he told us to get out of his restaurant. My friend and I were shocked, as we are sophisticated, educated women, who eat out frequently. We couldn't get over what happened. We would never go back there again. Still looking for good Puerto Rican food.

Great food as always! When my boyfriend and I ordered, our phone line kept going in and out so the takeout lady couldn’t really hear us but still completed our order. They made a small mistake on our order, but we’re very generous and insisted on remaking the order to perfection. Their customer service is amazing, and the food is even better. You will not be disappointed by anything there! Highly reccomemd to anyone in the margate - Coral Springs area :)

I made reservations to celebrate a relative's birthday. We wanted to stay in the area and I'm glad we did. The staff member (I don't remember her name) who answered the phone was very pleasant and answered my questions. The day of, I got a confirmation call which was greatly appreciated. They were able to accommodate a cake that we brought in and also allowed for balloons. The staff was very friendly and even wished my relative a happy birthday. There was something on the menu that everyone could eat and the food met most of the dietary needs (low sodium, etc.). I'm glad we decided to try this restaurant. We will definitely add it to our rotation.

First time trying this restaurant. Friend recommended because they have a small Puerto Rican menu. We ordered the Shrimp Monfongo and it was absolutely delicious!! My husband ordered the Pork chops with arroz con gandules and he loved it. It’s an Italian restaurant but to all the Puerto Rican’s out there. This place is a must try!!

I went here for the 2nd time tonight and this pizza is awesome. It’s right around the corner from my house and it’s my favorite place from now on. I got the garlic rolls with my pizza tonight and they were the best fresh soft rolls I ever had. The pizza guy and the staff is great too. I can’t wait to try the Puerto Rican food.

We showed up last minute for my birthday and we had a party of 9 but they were booked for a party. I own a business so I completely understood that it was our error for not making a reservation and went back the next week. Glad I did!!! Had Puerto Rican food. Pasteles and arroz con gandules!!!! On point!!! Amazing to be able to have a home cooked Puerto Rican meal. Still thinking of the pasteles. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you for bringing me home with you dish. 💕

1. The food is not fresh! Be careful! 2. The owner needs anger management classes. He's psychotic! If you dare say that anything is wrong with the inedible food you got, this guy will go ballistic. I guess he thinks we should just eat whatever he serves and just shut our mouths! Do not go to this place!

Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for 2 pizza's for dine in. When we tried to leave the chef talked about quality pizza not being ready in 5 minutes. Truthfully, I think they forgot we were seated outside.

I ordered a Hawaiian and pepperoni pizza, it was soggy, the ham and pepperoni were the poorest quality. When I was going to pay I told the waitress that it wasn't her fault but that the food was very bad, she called the owner who came over looking drunk and asked what the problem is and when I told him that the pizza was bad he immediately said well If you don't like it, go away and don't come back, I told him don't be so rude and he said if I'm rude and I'm the owner, I don't recommend this place, nothing is good there. The owner is nasty!! And the pizza has unpleasant flavor!!

We went for the Puerto Rican food. It’s hard to find authentic PR food around here. I always thought this was a pizza place so never stopped in until a friend told me about the mofongo. I’ll be back because the service and the food was great.

What an original eclectic little place! At first glance it's a pizza place busy with takeout and delivery orders, but it is also an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant. The owner saw us rolling in Mom and greeted us with some of the best coquito we've ever had ...and we lived a few years on the island! Mom ordered Mofongo with chicken in sauce, which came with tostones, avocado, maduros, salad and she really enjoyed it - she took one bite and said we're coming back here! they were able to accommodate my husband's restricted no salt diet with a great salad and chicken. I tried the eggplant parmesan sandwich, which was surprisingly served on freshly baked ciabatta bread. The staff was lovely, welcoming and thoughtful. The food was tasty, fresh and authentic. You will be happily surprised with this little family owned place.

I dont typically post reviews but I have done a 5 start one for this place about 3 years ago. However, everything has changed. A few months ago, I was told by the cook that they were selling the restaurant to someone else, but that the food and service was not going to change, since he and the previous owner were to continue working here. Well, tonight me and my family came over to have our favorite order of chicken wings and Hawaiian Pizza (low sauce); then we realized that everything had changed. The wings were dried and the Italian sauce was very very poor. So we eat them hoping that the pizza was going to be good. Surprise, the Hawaiian pizza came out burned-out, so I called the waitress whom was not too friendly and with some sort of attitude asked me to wait since she were to call someone; about 5 minutes later and tired of waiting for that someone to come (and knowing that I had come here for many years now) I approached the window and the cook was already expecting me, his attitude was even worse than the food he made tonight, and said to me that if we wanted the food right, we needed to let him cook as he knows... I was like, what do you mean, if we have been coming for the same dish for years... anyway, the guy was so out of himself that we certainly won't come back and I can't recommend this place any longer. Summary: Bad food and horrible service.

I have just moved to the area and I am so glad I stumbled across this restaurant. The pizza is delicious. Best around in my opinion!! I can't wait to go sit down and eat here!!!!! If you love pizza this is the spot!!!!

Tiramisu was spoiled, zuppa di pesce had 2 shrimp and penne and rolls were stale, chicken parmigiana was also over cooked, I felt like the food had been sitting out for a while and was reheated for the delivery guy.

What can I say it's a pizza made in Florida and I'm from New York so that's why I gave it the ratings that I gave it but it's all good I mean it's not a terrible slice for pizza it's okay he'll do

It is good that they have Puerto Rican food. Otherwise, it is expensive for what you get. The pizzas are the worst that I have had. Domino's is better and for much less. The pie was burned, hard and dry, barely had cheese. They were really bad and expensive.

A touch of New York in Fort Lauderdale! This gem is tucked in a shopping center outbuilding. Great pizza, the sauce is a bit sweet, so if you're a fan, you're in luck. Friendly and quick service. Our family devoured the pie and went back for more.

Stopped in here for a pizza on Saturday last, a cozy little place next to a gas station…well the pizza was delicious and my wife tried their chicken parmigiana which she loved. Good service as well…we will be back.

Wonderful place with really amazing food. I got the chicken francaise which came with salad or soup (I got salad) and rolls, and my husband got two slices pizza. We both enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I had the Chicken Franchise w Penne pasta. Probably the tenderest that I've ever had; absolutely Delish. I should of taken my pics before, because I left the plate clean. I got to meet the owner, and his staff. Very nice, and accommodating people.

IM FURIOUS! Was treated terribly by the lady over the phone was told to “deal with it” when it came to them not updating the prices on the menu!? What kind of business is conducted in this way? Food was an easy 4/10 honestly prefer pizza carousel if your in the area…
