Always good beef burger and Mix lamb gyro is my favorite.

You can enjoy the delicious home made food here. Very clean place. Staff are so friendly. You will enjoy your every moment there.

First time going to this place even though we have been driving past the plaza for more than 10 years. Food was really good, mixed gyro platter is certainly something we would order again although it’s a little greasy. It’s more like a fast food restaurant style. They charge extra 3% if you pay by credit card which they didn’t tell us and there was no sign indicating the difference.

Without a doubt the best food. Amazing quality of the food. The service is quick and very friendly.

Recently came back here again after not doing so in a while. So far, here are my thoughts: First of all, just want to point out that during my first visit in a while, a male with slick black back hair was working at the counter at the time. And during my visit, I ordered a Mixed Gyro Plate. My order came out to around $16. But during my second visit, my order only came out to around $14. My point isn’t about the amount of up-charge, but somewhat of a price inconsistency. Both orders we’re not a combo (w/drinks) and just the platter itself. For the food itself such as the Mixed Gyro Plate, I’d give it a 4.3. I liked everything in it, such as the chicken, lamb, and the mixed veggies along with the topped raisins. It also comes with a drizzle of white sauce on top, and if you need anymore, they give you enough or you can ask for to go. Atmosphere wise, they will greet you and for the most part, that’s about it. I understand it’s been a long day, but at least a little bit of enthusiasm and a welcoming vibe would be better. Overall, definitely worth a try if you’re around the area. The food is good and there are definitely more selections depending on what you’re craving. I would definitely come back myself.

Visting after 8 years. The food still tastes good. Hummus is good. Wings perfect Kabbab Platter is fine. Rice feels little dry to eat, but with white sauce, you can enjoy it. The cream rolls are delicious if you eat 1. You can't stop yourself Cream roll 10/10

Been going here for years and now I guess they have new management? The food was always decent but now they charge $5 for white sauce?? They are also a bit stingy with the fries. The lake Hiawatha location is so much better you get huge portions and it’s always fresh

When a place is busy, you know the food is good. And the food is absolutely delicious! I have never been disappointed here. They never get my order wrong either. I like that they have vegan options or can make any dish vegan. It's fast and tasty.

One of worse burger I had today. And they charge me 11 dollar. I saw price is 7.49. I took only burger. They did not give my receipt. Not sure which cuisine it is but tastes good. If you eat spicy food then you may not like this place. I tried their khorma and qabuli, which was really tasty and comes with huge portion, complementary bread and butter and salad. You cannot find food at such a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We have been going to Kabab Paradise for over a decade now , maybe since they opened. The kids are fond of the solar wings . We try a different sauce everytime. We must have tried every burger and kabab combo on their menu and we keep going back . Their Kababs are the best. During our last visit we had the Beef Kofta, the sultani Kabab and the Chapli Kabab And, an order of solar wings with Honey Mustard sauce

Everything here is solid. Ample parking, Beef, lamb, fries all good. Can't wait to try something new next time I go.

Around 2015: I've seen bad service before, but this is the first and only time in my life to be treated worse than garbage by a person who is supposedly normal intellectually. I called the KP South Boundbrook and asked if they have room for 20 people. They said yes. I asked again just to make sure, since it would be a logistical nightmare on my end if there wasnt enough space. My group arrived on time around 30 min after the call. Upon arrival, the place was not packed. There was enough space to accommodate everyone. As we gave our orders, the owner came out and and in a voice loud enough to be heard across the store told the cashier that we are all to-go. Didn't bother talk to us. I went up and asked for an explanation and he said there were only two tables available and the rest are reserved. 2 tables can accommodate around 15 guys. I said that that was not agreed upon but that we can work with the situation he put us in and have half the guys sit indoor and other half eat outside or in cars (it was raining) until more tables were available. This slow POS was loading for 2 seconds and again just exclaimed "they are all to go". We took our food since more than half had already paid by that point and left. Filthiest treatment I have ever seen in my life. Afghanis are some of the kindest and most noble people i know, so this guy is an absolute disgrace.

If I had the option to leave 0 stars I would, owner kept yelling at us for loud even though every restaurant I’ve been to is loud. I’ve been here a few times and it’s my last straw, if I’m splitting payments he always not listening to what I’m ordered and saying that I’m not paying for what I ordered. VERY RUDE, I’ve worked in the restaurant business and customer is always given the benefit of the doubt, I hate hating on a Muslim business but he always is rude to me or any of my friend that come, never any good experience when I come here. Horrible service, food is good, only order though, can’t run a business with horrible customer service.

Went today and disappointed. Came in with a big group of course there’s gonna be chatter owner kept coming and telling us to quiet down making no sense. VERY RUDE. Never coming back to this place till this restaurant staff is better trained.

This is one of those last resort places. The food is ok, service was of the "you're already here buddy, where are you gonna go?" Type. My son liked the chocolate Ice cream, though. Otherwise, around dinner time, it was busy, so I might have had a non-standard experience when I went.

Owner ameer really need to change his behavior he don't know how to deal with customers and food is nothing beyond zero no taste no fresh at all coming to the store for almost 5 years but his attitude made us not to come back again

We ordered chicken biryani and pluto burger. Biryani has only rice and chicken. Feels like eating plain rice and chicken. Burger is just ok.

The food here was absolutely delicious! I ordered the mixed gyro platter with chicken and lamb, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly!! An added surprise was that raisins were included in the dish, which attributed to its savory flavor. The mango lassi was the perfect level of sweetness and super smooth while the crème roll was light and fluffy! I would definitely come here again!!

This place used to be pretty good. We would order at least once a week. However, due to the recent experience, we will not be going back. We placed an order through Uber. Unfortunately, no drivers were available at the time so Uber suggested we pick up the food if we do not want a delayed order. My husband went to pick up and asked the owner if the soda was in the bag (which comes with the combo) because in most of our deliveries the soda would be missing. First, the owner said yes it's inside. Upon checking, there was no soda and my husband informed the owner to which he replied in an aggressive manner "we do not give soda to Uber deliveries". The man was yelling as if we had not paid for the food. The food has become average but the service is definitely one of the worst we have seen. If Google allowed, I would give 0 a stars for service, especially considering it's the owner and not the employees that misbehaved.

Good halal food for great prices! I recommend their different burgers. The neptune burger is my personal fav. The burger, a side of fries, and a can of soda came out to just under 12 bucks.

My wife and I visited for the first time. She got chicken kufta, and I got lamb tikka kabab. The food was well seasoned and delicious, and the flatbread was soft and tasty. The sauces were also really good. Their menu has a large variety of dishes from burgers to Afghani food. I highly recommend Kabab Paradise, and will be back.

Ordered chicken salad and requested one spoon of rice and the regular white, hot, green sauce on salad. Got charged two $1 dollar charges for “blue cheese.” Also subtotal was different on itemized receipt. When charged on card it was $1 dollar more. Just sketchy cashier experience

The lamb ground meat isn't lamb. It may be a mix. It's super salty and in my opinion inedible. The fries are cooked in OLD oil and it seems low quality. My husband could eat it but neither of us enjoyed it. It's NOT Afghani food. It tastes NOTHING like Afghani food. The quality and spices are just not there. The folks who run it are Indian or Bangladeshi or MAYBE Pakistani and the workers in the back are Hispanos. They're not even trying to make it taste Afghani. They cube the meat and barely warm it on the grill. It's like no one here has ever eaten nor seen Afghani food. Also, the night I went, the place was dirty. The customers leave their mess on the tables and the young woman behind the counter didn't clean it up either. They just wait for the kitchen staff to free up and clean it.

This USED TO BE on my absolute favorite spots when it opened. The chicken was marinated and cooked to absolute perfection. In fact, I have never had chicken as good as this in my life. However, I dont know what happened but the past 3-4 years, the food quality went down really bad. The last time I ate there, the chicken was hardly cooked, you could literally taste and smell that odd chicken smell(indicating it wasn't marinated properly). I dont know if they changed the chef, or they no longer marinate properly but I had to throw it out, I could no longer eat it. I haven't been visiting for a year because of that. I really hope management takes over and addresses the food quality. Its gone down hill, from being 11/10 to 5/10. Its sad because this was my absolute favorite place for Halal Chicken. Their burgers are still really good. Its just the chicken over rice(chicken rice platter, whose quality went downhill).

Disappointment. there's no 1.5 star rating for service, hospitality and atmosphere so they get two stars. Some folks are making food because it's their passion and they're good, and some folks making food because it translates to making money, I have an impression it's latter one here. Paradise lost

We noticed this little place as we gassed up across the street and decided to drop in for a bite. What a GREAT find. The eggplant appetizer was so flavorful and delish. The gyro platters were just as yummy. Can't wait to go back!

I would have given them no stars if possible. The taste of the food is average but that’s not even the problem. My issue is with the quality and the hygiene of the place. My husband and I are both muslims and came here for some halal burger 2 days ago. We got sick from eating in here, suffered from upset stomach for 2 days and even missed the first day of Ramadan. It’s so sad seeing a halal business would not care about customers’ health and potentially harming them. Do better guys

Taste is not good place to eat because food is at room temp I think pre cooked food served and also price is on menu is different than what they charge. They are charging extra on menu price.

First visit here yesterday. I didn't want to order too big of a portion since I was eating dinner in a couple hours. My friend wanted to bring me here because she said it was so good. I couldn't say no. I pass by here all the time and I can't believe I've never stopped in to try this spot. I got one beef and one chicken skewer which were two for $14.99. They tasted fresh and delicious. I also tried a bit of my friend's dish which was a chicken dish with rice and the white sauce and other toppings. It was phenominal. It wasn't busy around 4pm on a Monday which was nice. Will definitely return. Thank you.

This is one of the best places to eat kabab. Meat tastes fresh and oh buoy... It was lip smacking. We tried chk seekh and beef seekh. The food portions are good and to go packing was also done perfectly with all the condiments and sides packed neatly. Loved every bit of it and will be crashing here often. Cheers!!

I’ve been coming for years and I love this place. Recently came back to the office nearby, after working from home the past two years, and it’s just as amazing as I remember. They have an awesome chicken gyro and I love their Kabob platters. Glad to be back!

Kandahar is Edison is worth the extra drive for me, they seem to be a tough act ti follow. There are better places on Route 27, Edison, Piscataway and so on. Never going back!

let me tel your something, there gyros are the best thing I’ve ever had, if I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life it would be there chicken gyros and don’t even get me started on that heavenly white sauce they have, I put 3 mini cups of that white sauce every time I have a gyro and it’s a explosion of flavors in my mouth, and let me tell u something about the rice, the texture to the taste of there rice is just insane, right now I’m craving a gyro but so happen to have no money on me. If the owners see this please hook me up with a free gryo and fries with 3 white sauces🙏🙏. Best food ever

I been visiting the place for the last 2 years , food is very good, place is clean and the cleaning lady is working very hard to keep the place clean. It is very tight around the tables, Uncomfortable to be seated very close to other people especially with all what's going on!!!

I ordered a gyro sandwich on DoorDash and they sent me a gyro platter and this has happened many times and then the man in the background while I was on the phone with them says with an attitude ohh so what she wanna do about it as if it’s not their mistake and I didn’t pay delivery fees just to have to drive there nd get what I initially paid for . And when I got there the man didn’t even have the decency to apologize. TERRIBLE customer service and I will not be buying food from them ever again.

I have been going to this place for many years. Today I ordered eight dinners to take out and spent $162 to get eight plates of rice very little meat or falafel that I had ordered very disappointing and lost a Customer and all of my friends who usually eat there.

One of the worst customer service I have ever had with this restaurant. I had called in to place a large catering order for $700 and then I went to pick up my order at the agreed time. But instead the owner Amir shows me bad attitude and criticizes me that I’m 10 - 15 mins late. Now what really surprised me that I had actually called him on my ETA before I arrived. But he continued to show me bad attitude and poor customer service by belittling me and saying that I’m not very prepared and I don’t know what I’m doing. During the time for my transaction; I mentioned that the number of heads has actually decreased from 20 adults to 18 adults and so I would like to be charged for 18 adults. Yet he refused to accommodate my request and overcharges me for 20 adults. Talk about poor customer service and ripping customers off on large catering orders. I won’t be calling back or eating at this restaurant again!

I have been here a few times it’s hidden in a small strip mall in south bound Brook . They have quite a few large tables . We decided to bring our friends this time there Probably was about 17 of us. We all placed our orders at the counter and they give you a number to place on the table. They have a pretty large menu so it might be hard to decide 😉 what to get !! Platters, salads, sandwiches. We got the Kebab sampler and a few other things. The kebab platter was delicious full of flavor and a nice size portion. The hummus is a must try it was very smooth and great flavors . They also have some great baklava 😋 so if you live in the area or just driving through I would stop in and give them a try .

Came here for the Mars burger. For a sandwich that is so simple and straightforward somehow I still feel it is something special.

They advertise the wrong price so they are scamming you. The manager says "I'm not even making a single penny." They overcharge us $14. They show different prices on board and menu. It's not right.

Wings and platter are so good but not a fan of their burger specially chesse burger.
