Kimora who seated us, Kiana who provided excellent service tonight (8/8/24) and Jackie who provided fantastic waitress service during our last visit to Kabobs are all outstanding. The dining experience at Kabobs is truly wonderful. The Parmesan encrusted Salmon was amazing. The price is right and atmosphere is relaxed and very enjoyable; historic. Bravo Kabobs. And, their “perfect Manhattan” is - perfect. John & Debbie

What an amazing place. Beautiful historic building, fabulous food, outstanding service. What more could one ask for? Jackie took great care of us, and made us feel special--for no particular reason other than a commitment to providing people with great service. I have never seen anyone move as fast as her--she must have speed walked a 10k while we were there. Worth a stop in Bradford, just to eat here. My reaction to my first bite of the chicken curry was "Oh my God". It was that good. The basmati rice was amazingly fluffy and flavorful. Writing this review is making me hungry.

This is my second five-star review for Kabobs at the Option House; I wanted TripAdvisor readers to know that EVERYTHING is still as wonderful as it EVER was! Our most recent visit was with a party of twelve family members to celebrate the 98th birthday of my mother-in-law. (It's the only place in town special enough to match the occasion.) Our waitress handled us well in terms of dividing the checks, got each of our drink and entree orders right, and suggested savory curried Vegan options for the twenty-somethings. As always, "Chef Icky" knocked all of our dinners out of the flavortown ballpark, and came out at the end of our meal to drum and sing Happy Birthday to our matriarch. We had tasty leftover meals from his generous portions next day and came away happy, knowing that we'd done this milestone birthday up right ☺.

Great kabobs, excellent onion soup

Excellent service and the food was delicious and well presented. The samosas we enjoyed for our appetizer were particularly good!

One of the finest restaurants in the area. The ambience and history are over the top with soaring ceilings. Great food with great ingredients. Mr. Zafar the owner is a great man. The only places that compare in ambience is the steakhouse Beefeaters down the road, and The Old Library in Olean. To me, soaring ceilings are everything. Beautiful molding, chandeliers, and gold detailing. The ceilings are copper. The Shirley Temple is great, haha, and the Tzatziki sauce is tangy and creamy. My parents are Pakistani and they said the chicken curry was excellent. The curry pasta, while I was skeptical, is excellent and rich.

The Option House is once again, the best dining experience in Bradford, PA

Great change of pace from the usual fare in the area. Staff was attentive and the food was excellent. Recommend!

Food was outstanding. John my server was top notch, his recommendation for the chicken and vegetable curry was next level goodness. Can’t wait to have the leftovers today. I definitely will be back.

Outstanding food, service, drinks, staff and atmosphere. I've been a few times now and every time it's a home run experience. I highly recommend the calamari. The food is incredible- so tender, flavorful and authentically crafted.

We so wanted to love this place. At first glance it is a very charming building but the decor is cheap and tacky. Service was ok but the food:( I ordered a seafood pasta and when it arrived I instantly knew it was imitation crab. The waitress confirmed. Not only is imitation crab gross but I felt very deceived. If the chef or owner is willing to cut corners on ingredients than you can bet they do so in all their business practices. A good chef would never use sub standard ingredients in their dishes. Have a little pride for goodness sake. My husband also said his beef kabob that was supposed to be filet mignon was definitely not. Shame on you! By the time I got a new meal my group was done eating, and it had so much salt it was inedible. Would not recommend

I have eaten here many times and the food is always very tasty. The room is unique as it is long and narrow with early 20th century decorations and style. I would recommend this eatery to anyone coming to Bradford.

Who would have thought that in a small town like Bradford there would be this wonderful restaurant! From the minute we walked in and were seated at a table until we walked out the door, it was wonderful. We were greeted almost immediately on arrival. When we got to our table the server apologized because they were down a server and quite busy. We were on our anniversary vacation so said we weren’t one bit concerned. It turned out that there was no delay in service and the food was excellent. We started with calamari. Because that was so good we had high expectations and were not disappointed with the meal. I had the steak kabobs and my husband had the seafood pasta. They were both so good. The price was not bad for the whole meal. I would say the only downside was that the space was quite cramped. They have a little write up about the building size and all that you can read. If we happen to be in the area again we will surely revisit this restaurant.

Love this place it never disappoints. Great food. Service and atmosphere. When I'm in town always stop here for dinner.

Beautiful architecture, wonderful long bar made by the Brunswick Company. My and I both had chicken Kabobs. Hers had Indian spice, mine the house rub of garlic and oil. We liked mine better.

First time here and we found it simply delicious and delightful!!!!! The 2 waiters were polite and knowledgeable, approachable with our questions. The Chicken Curry was just great tasting and so much flavor!!!! It was a little bit above my heat level I'm used to. My husband had the Tandoori Chicken Kabob, he enjoyed it immensely!!!!! We have going to Raffi's up in Olean but I think we will be coming back here again!!!!! Thank you guys for such a great time!!! Excellent job and great service!!!!

Food was absolutely amazing! From out of town tried it out and did not regret it! The bar/building has that old feel with incredible service! Food was exquisite and the prices are better!

What a hidden dinning treasure in the North Central PA. If you're in Bradford make sure you make a stop, you will not regret it.

Sesame chicken was truly exceptional. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive. Beautifully establishment with unique design.

My husband & I went for dinner and they were super busy! We had to wait to be seated, but it was worth the wait! Our server was quick, accurate and friendly. The food...wow! Best haddock I have ever had! Highly recommend & we are already planning to return!

The people who own the business don't really take good care of the business. They need to redo the floor and rewire the place, seeing a lot of light flickers. Food can be made better. Wait on food about 20 to 30 minutes for fries. But drinking there, they do make sure they are quick with that.

Great food. Ingredients were fresh. The chicken curry was awesome. The chicken kebab was mediocre though. I felt it was not made in a Clay oven but just made on a griddle. The side salad was good too. And the pita is just a packaged bread. Special mention to the excellent ambience and service.

Great American/Mediterranean Fusion restuarant in downtown Bradford. Pleasant atmosphere, fast service, and good food make this one I'll be coming back to. I got the stuffed shells and it was a great choice!

Charming find on our drive through on Hwy 219. The food was authentic and delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming. If we're ever in the vicinity, we will definitely go back! Don't let the eclectic and mixed menu scare you off.

Stopped in passing through town and was not disappointed at all! From the entrance to our meal, everything felt intriguing and satisfying. Old school charm from cieling to floor. Foods that would make any pallet happy. I can't wait to go back!

Stopped here from WV on our way to Buffalo, NY, because of reviews. So glad we did! Chicken Tikka was recommended and was Excellent! My husband ate on the lighter side having Baked onion Au Gratin soup, and Ceasar salad He loved it.. 😊Also Hanna working the lunch crowd by herself. Didnt miss a beat. See you on the return trip.

10-11-23 1:30=13:30 We came here after leaving the beefeaters. Totally different attitude here and there were 5 people initially. Our waitress/hostess was super nice and made you feel welcomed.. The food was delicious even though my burger was over cooked. I did order rare but it was more like medium, but the flavor was great.

This place a very great food, great portions for meals and prices were great for size of food! Plus waitresses were very nice and friendly Would recommend stopping for dinner here if ur in the Bradford area!!

We had a surprise party for my mother and everything was excellent. We could not have better service. The staff was amazing!

Knocking back from five to three stars after another visit. Went between 8 and 9pm on a Saturday night (they close at 9) so the staff was 100% focused on shutting down and 0% focused on providing service. Our waitress had an awesome talent for avoiding eye contact. Never received the 2nd beer I ordered. $30 strip steak (rare) was a well done sirloin at best. Couldn't be more disappointed, which is shocking given how good it was last time. One more chance, folks. Another experience like this and I'm out for good. Took my family of four. No one was disappointed, which is rare. In fact, we all loved it. Two Indian dishes, one Italian and I had the tenderloin medallions. Four 'double' drinks and the rest was $170 with tip. Pricey, but zero buyer's remorse here. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, a delightful waitress, and reasonable prices. The atmosphere allowed you to step back in time to a long, forgotten style of opulent living. From the glittering chandeliers to the mosaic tile floors, it was truly an unexpected gem! We were passing through Bradford on our way back home and decided to spend the night. What a delight to find this restaurant! The chef makes rice just like my Bengali neighbor used to. It was wonderful to taste that dish again! The gyro meat was reminiscent of a Greek deli in NYC. The tzaki sauce was perfect. It was thick and creamy, not watery and anemic. Now, to find an excuse to visit Bradford again to dine at this beautiful establishment!

The food was very good with large portions…too large. We couldn’t finish the meal. Jackie, our waiter was excellent. They wouldn’t let us bring our own wine, fortunately they had two decent reds to choose from.

I felt pushed to hurry. Hadn't seen a friend in 50 years and enjoying drinks and eating lunch and told they close and reopen at 4:00 RUSHED

Unexpectedly great ambience for a small town restaurant. Extremely flavourful meals. Decent portions, reasonable prices. Unnecessary extra charge on the bill for a side salad that was INCLUDED in the dishes cost!! Was removed with no argument. How did that occur! Overall very satisfied. Absolutely recommended but check your bill.

Fantastic lunch at The Option House. Gorgeous interior, excellent wait staff and our food was delicious! Entrees we ordered steak & mushroom panini, coconut shrimp wrap, French onion soup—all were delicious!

Always happy with the food, drinks are alway stromg and OMG, the chocolate cake is evil good.

Service was nearly nonexistent. Dirty plates on tables, upset bartender. Unlike our previous experiences here. Didn’t make it to dinner this time but food is usually outstanding.

The exterior and interior of this building are worth the visit. The food is really well done and the staff most attentive. Bradford, PA isn't on the beaten path, but if you do need to go there, this restaurant is worth the stop.

Beautiful historic building in downtown Bradford. Food was great looking, service was excellent, I expected more flavor in my meal, we also were not offered dessert . I'm not sure what they even have. We'll go back for sure.

Food and service was exceptional. The menu has something for everyone. Their Greek salad was delicious, as was the Italian herb crusted haddock. Oh, and lest I forgot to mention, the chicken kabobs and stuffed shells. ..fabulous! Every visit is a treat for your palate. Addendum: add the chicken picatta to that list!

After being seated (table of 5) we waited 25 minutes in a poorly air conditioned area, for our drinks that we never received. We left.

We got takeout. The appearance of the restaurant is charming. It is a combination of elegant vintage furnishings with kitschy bar decor. I ordered in the restaurant and came back later to pick up. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. The food was a bit unusual in combinations, and while I certainly give them credit for stepping outside the boundaries of common offerings, we didn't feel they delivered on flavor. We had a spicy Indian-influenced chicken dish with cream sauce, served over penne pasta. Something like an Asian noodle would have worked better. We had haddock with Italian seasoning, which came on a bed of mashed potatoes. I think rice or even the pasta would have worked better here. These are personal preferences, and perhaps I should have asked for substitutions but I wanted to see if these combos would work. No complaints about the food preparation, just the flavors were so-so.

Excellent food, prepared and presented well, very reasonable price

Although in my eyes the meals were a little pricey (but everything is these days), the atmosphere, server, food, and meal presentation were all great. It was nice to see people there enjoying themselves and we really wish we had a place like this in Warren, though without a college it wouldn't be sustainable. We had chicken curry and chicken ticca - both very good. Two dinners, one ice tea, tip was about $54.

I had an absolutely amazing meal here tonight. Was it pricey? Yes. Was every aspect of the food, the environment, and the service worth what I paid for it and then some? YES. It was one of the most phenomenal restaurant experiences I’ve had in years. I might even say decades.

This was our first time at this fabulous restaurant. The servers were very courteous and pleasant; and the food was superb. The ambience is very relaxed. The drinks were on point as well. We can't wait to visit again.

This is some of the best food I have had! Their food is amazingly fresh and delicious. I had the tenderloin kebabs which were absolutely amazing. And the rice was perfect. If you are anywhere near the area at all you should stop by!

I eat out all the time and I can say option restaurant is a sweat surprise, I ordered the curry chicken and was surprised by the way separated the rise, chicken, Salad. It makes every bite tasted like heaven. I can't wait to come back and try other options.!!!!

First time here and both my wife and I can't stop raving about the food. The gyro platter and chicken soulvaki dinners were excellent . Those items were excellent but the star of the dinner was the tzatziki sauce! I don't want to leave out the waiter for a complement as he did a fantastic job. Five stars for this establishment!

Yum and wow, what a building, tucked away in tiny Bradford, PA. It's a must visit if you're in the area. Diverse menu with a friendly staff.

We had a large group of 13 on a weekday, but had called the day b4 for reservations. The waitress on was amazing as there were several other tables. Unfortunately many entrees came out cold, some were wrong, and one was served after most of us had finished eating. We did have 2 that were gluten-free eaters and ordered fish entrees we thought were gluten-free, but had gluten. The staff was amazing making them new entrees gluten-free. My low mark in no way represents this amazing restraunt on an every day. The staffed hustled and worked their butts off to serve us all(13of us) delicious food. Checks were adjusted to make up for the late meal served and all other mistakes were corrected in a pleasant manner by the entire staff. The bar tender even jumped in and helped the waitress. At the end of the night the entire staff took the time to serve my daughter and nephew birthday deserts with a wonderful happy birthday without being ask by anyone at the table, we had just mentioned that it was their birthdays.

Fantastic fine dining experience with friendly atmosphere and staff. This building has lots of Bradford history from turn of the century that has been. wonderfully restored and preserved. It's a must stop if you are able 😊👍

Absolutely love this place for all the right reasons, atmosphere, food,service. If you are outside the area, it's worth the drive. It's a hidden gem. Till' next time. Got to meet the chef and asked him to open a place in warren but he says" he only hads two hands". 😉

We had a great time here, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is amazing. We enjoyed the tandoori chicken and the tenderloin beef while my kids split the gyro. Everyone loved it, even the rice and pita was better than most places.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. My wife had a Kabob and I had a Cajun Shrimp special. The margarita was hands down the best I've ever had too. 10/10, recommend.

Freddie is as good as chef ickys food. Being that it may be the only or one of few fine dining restaurants i would say the 2 women who worked with him need to be alittle more polished. I've worked in fine dinner for 20 years and Freddie has class where as the girls had like leopard print aprons with back skin sticking out. Again they were very kind however fine dining is about classiness too.

Amazing restaurant in the heart of Bradford, Pennsylvania. Definitely a must if you're in the area. Gotta check them out. The staff was amazing. John at the bar area was fantastic. The gorgeous 62 foot bar was so cool too.

Found this little gem by accident, and SO glad we did! The servers were very friendly, helpful, and quick. The food (we had the tomato basil soup, artichoke dip, both the Greek and Caesar salads, and then the Seafood Asiago and the NY Strip special with mushrooms and onions and gravy, with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and even though my steak was a little over done (I declined to have them fix it), it was still AMAZING, every single bite! Will definitely return!

Menu had a lot of good options, but I ended up having the feature that evening, which was coconut Grouper... absolutely wonderful! Fish was cooked perfectly, as were the mash and fresh vegetables. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in town. The decor of the place was put together really well and had a lot of history there.

We were visiting family from out of town and they suggested we go to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. All of us enjoyed our meals. One beef kabob, 2 shrimp kabobs, and 1 seafood asiago pasta with the option salad. My husband raved about his pasta dish and especially the option salad which looked delicious to all of us. Said best pasta dish he'd ever had! All three of us with the kabobs thought they were delicious. Our only complaint was trying to get the meat off the skewers. Two of us almost put food on the floor in our attempt to gracefully take the shrimp/beef cube off skewers. Our family said if they returned they would request the kitchen remove the meat from the skewer prior to bringing to the table. Beautiful building.

Hands down the most beautiful restaurant i have ever been to. It was like taking a step back in time. The antique bar is gorgeous and the food is absolutely amazing. My compliments to the chef and the owner!

We had a very good meal at Kabobs I had gyro, my husband had steak. Both were done to perfection. The only negative was the waiter was miserable (it may just not have been his day)

Popped into town for a couple days and met friends for dinner there. The restaurant/bar itself has retained a lot of the feel for when it was built back in the early 1900s, at a time when Bradford was in its 'glory' days. Not a big place, but quite nice. Remember to park in the back to avoid having to park along the street. We had the potato Samosas and fried cheese for appetizers...I had the beef tenderloin kabob. Really quite good, and cooked right. The Basmati rice was very good, Greek salad served with it was flavorful, and the price was reasonable. My only (small) complaint was that the service was a little slow. Otherwise a very good meal - would definitely go back.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Buffalo to Virginia, and it was an awesome experience. Very friendly staff, quick service, lovely old-world atmosphere and above all, awesome food. Lots of choices for vegetarians and the food was really yummy and full of flavour. An absolute gem, don't miss it.
