Awesome place, food is great, staff friendly and knowledgeable of their food choices. Awesome little space!

Finally ordered food here and I don’t know why it took me so long! And it’s only a 4 minute walk from my apartment! Ordered the chicken and rice bento (Regular $10.99) with aurora maple sauce (+$1). It’s good with or without the sauce. Perfect match with the white rice. My food was ready within 10 minutes! Great atmosphere and very good food! Very friendly owners! Just the way they prepare and present your food means they care! You can order online or inside on the kiosk. Follow and like their FB page to keep you updated! One of Saint Albans hidden gem!

We found this adorable little place today during a road trip. It was 25 minutes out of the way, but now that I’ve eaten here, I would drive an hour to eat here again. I might even drive two hours. It would be worth every mile. We got one of everything on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. The owners are absolutely lovely and they gave us recommendations for things to see around the area. Even my four year old loved it! I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Go! Go! Go!

St Albans is lucky to have Kaiju Kitchen! We are visiting from California and found this little gem… we ordered the chicken karate bento, the chicken curry and the noodle salad… Sooo delicious! Definitely coming back again when we return 😊

The cold noodles were so refreshing on a hot day like today and the portion was mega-sized! The flavor transported me back to summers in Japan. The inside of the shop is very bright and clean with lots of cute decor. Since I dined in, they brought oshibori (small towel to clean your hands). They also sent me home with a fresh set of chopsticks to use with my leftovers, which was very thoughtful. Can't wait to come back and try other menu offerings.

Absolutely the best take-out in Franklin County. I get the chicken curry and it is so delicious. Love the atmosphere set up and the family who owns/runs the business are the nicest people.

I regretnot going sooner. We've had a Japanese student stay with us and he made amazing karaage. This was just as good. The dressing on the cabbage needs to be bottled for.sale. Light, a little spicy, and flavorful. I also love that Japanese do shredded cabbage more as I'm allergic to lettuce and often have to skip greens on anything. It's nice to get to have.them finally!

Got the curry and the chicken rice bowl. Both were delicious and fresh. Great stop for lunch!

Delicious! The Karaage (fried chicken) was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy on the inside and crispy tasty coating on the outside. Rice was excellent as well. The spice red sauce went well with everything.

Fabulous lunch of spicy bento with mustard maple sauce, curry katsu, boba tea, and mochi for dessert. Love the decor, so much to look at. Wish I lived here and could eat every day!

From the cozy atmosphere to the wonderful service, there is seldom a better place to go out and eat in VT! The food is absolutely delicious and is absolutely a labor of love, which is very apparent. I can't recommend this lovely place enough!

This place is really good. The foods great and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The chicken bento is some of the best fried chicken I've had in Vermont.

Everything was amazing here! Great customer service, was super kind, friendly and welcoming. The food was authentic, fresh, and very filling. Atmosphere was very welcoming and seats were surprisingly comfy. I recommend coming here to eat!

A true diamond in the rough. If you do not know where Kaiju Kitchen is it is very easy to pass it by, but that is a mistake. The menu is small, but everything is delicious. I usually get the pork which is incredible, but the other day I got the chicken and was not disappointed. I highly recommend finding quaint little Kaiju kitchen on a small side street in St. Albans, you will be happy that you did.

My husband had heard great things about Kaiju Kitchen and I’m so glad we finally went for dinner tonight. The chicken and pork were both incredible, everything was super fresh and full of flavor, and the service was great. Also, their miso soup is mind blowing - don’t sleep on adding that to your order. Thank you - we will be back soon!

My son discovered this place and eats there on a regular basis. I took the drive from Grand Isle to check it out and am so glad I did. The pork katsu-don is so incredibly tasty!! I brought home a curry for my sweetheart and that was fantastic, as well. The portions are plentiful and presented beautifully. You can see into the kitchen and it’s very clean. I really enjoyed chatting with Liz and looking at their kid’s artwork while we waited for our order. It has been a very long time since I’ve eaten out and LOVED the food. I highly recommend this place!! It’s worth the drive from wherever you are.

Kaiju Kitchen is a family favorite for our Friday night take-out dinners! The chicken rice bento boxes are our family's go-to!! Not sure how Chef Taka does it but his chicken is pure deliciousness!! Such a pleasure to give business to this wonderful family! Not only do they serve delicious, high quality food, they do so with genuine kindness! Highly recommend!!!

Amazingly cozy family run restaurant. We ordered katsu-don, and the chicken curry-rice. Both were very yummy, the house made curry was complex and exceptionally delicious 😋

As a chef, I can highly recommend this place. We stopped in and got one of everything this afternoon. You can tell there is care put into the food. Curry is a bit sweet for me but that is my palate and for Vermont, it is perfect.

IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! such a nice surprise. Food was amazing, staff was super friendly and welcoming. The chicken was sooooo good. The pork (I don’t even like pork) was insanely good. PLEASE get the spicy HONEY RED sauce. This coming winter, this sauce and the curry rice will save Vermonter lives. Do yourself a favor and try the best Japanese cuisine in the area.

I have LOVED everything I have had from them, but I order the Chicken Bento almost weekly. It's always just as good as the time before and Taka and Liz are so friendly that I always love popping in.

The cold ramen salad was perfect! Very refreshing and tasty. The Ginger pork was very tender and flavorful. Stumbled upon the restaurant by accident and it was an absolutely perfect stumble! Service was phenomenal. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Stopped by today because it seemed like the only place in town that offers boba tea! The bitterness of the matcha with the brown sugar tapioca boba made it such a delicious drink! I also order the melopan bread and it exceeded my expectations. Stop by and give this place a try! Inside you’ll find so many artwork and cool things that you will never stop looking.

Small menu, but everything is fresh and tastes great.

This place is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in St. Albans and Franklin county. Yes, they do have a small menu. Every single dish that they have on the menu is absolutely wonderful. The pork katsu was my favorite dish, with the Bento (Fried Chicken) coming in a close second. I'm really happy they added a larger size for the Bento as the medium size was just not quite enough food for me for dinner. Just had the tuna sandwich, which was amazing, and the ginger pork rice bowl. If you like ginger, it's really good and strong. The fresh boba tea is really good as well.

The food is delicious (omg that tender karaage chicken...), the place is cozy with cool decorations, and the owners are the sweetest, friendliest people (Liz and Taka). Thank you so much!

Run by a kind and welcoming family, serving authentic Japanese food and drink. They even give you a little oshibori before your meal! I recommend trying the maple matcha, it’s sweet and refreshing. Our family loves it, and we plan to come back next time we’re in town.

Best food in St. Albans hands down. It is a small carefully curated menu. Everything is fantastic. The care and thought put into each dish is evident. Thoughtful combinations of fresh and bright elements deliver satisfying depth of flavor. Generous portions and great prices. We have been trying every restaurant in the area to find our staple places and this takes the top spot for sure.

Very good karaage! The lettuce salad also has excellent seasoning. My only complaint is that they aren’t located in the Burlington area.

Found this cute place exactly same as my name and had to come by!! Delicious food, super friendly and hospitable restaurant owners❤️ me and my friend got curry and katsu don and as a Japanese curry lover I can tell the curry here is the real deal (not from the curry packs)! The aroma when you walk in is just heaven like and you can tell they’re definitely serious about their food! Another highlight is how green they are, it just amazes me all the utensils and containers they use are paper/bamboo/glasses and in a fast-paced wasteful world we are in today it’s just almost impossible to find a restaurant like this. If you’re also trying to make a positive impact in the world and love authentic curry and great food- you need to visit! Thankfully we only live an hour away, will definitely be their regular!
