Had a great lunch today at Kamals Kafe! If you’ve not tried it, definitely do. It’s a great restaurant!

My favorite chicken shwarma, always juicy but crispy and flavorful - much better than the fast food versions!

Gyro plate was a great choice for me. Their lentel soup is really good too. Nice little spot to eat good Mediterranean cuisine. 5 star place for me.

This is the best Mediterranean food I have found in all of Southeast Louisiana!! The staff is always professional and friendly, service is always flawless, and Mr. Kamal himself is a lovely host. He's also a hoot!

I have driven past Kamal's Kafe for years. I had a Greek place that had great food. I wasn't looking...creature of habit. I decided to pull in. This is the best greek/Lebanese restaurant ever. My only suggestion is make sure you order black olives. Go support this man. They deserve FIVE stars!

Delicious! Everything I ordered was excellent. Gyros was so juicy and flavorful! Hummus, feta salad and mujadara were also really tasty. Service was friendly and fast. Highly recommended!!!

Always a great experience when I come here. I feel like they’re the best Lebanese restaurant in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Ms. Sheree is always on it and taking care of the customers and Mr. Kamal (Owner ) is always there when we visit and making sure everyone is satisfied. The chicken is the best seasoned of any I’ve had and their salads and tea are great as well.

Cool little place with a great atmosphere and good service. The prices and portions on the lunch menu will not leave you hungry. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the gyro and chicken combo. The chicken was a little dry for my taste, but everything else was delicious. Will be returning for lunch when I'm in the area.

Absolutely delicious!! We had family visit from out of town, and stopped here for dinner. So glad we did!! The owner and staff are super friendly, and I must say again... the food was absolutely delicious! (Try their spicy shawarma, you won't regret it 😉😋)

Ok so the portions are small for the price. I eat alot of greek and Lebanese and this was not the best it wasnt even ok. . the flavor of that chicken they have it leaves a nasty after taste in your mouth and its dry. The gyro came in huge chunks i had to chew threw when most places give you strips carved off. But not here. Overall their presentation could be better take the time to actual carv the meat of in nice strips not cut out gyro steaks

Kamal's Kafe is a great hidden gem! My husband and I just moved to the area from Houston, and we were hoping to find a restaurant that wasn't fast food or seafood. Kamal's was cozy; the waitstaff were warm and welcoming, and they were very much on top of things. The food is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the hummus, the veggies, and the EGGPLANT SPECIAL especially! I've never enjoyed anything quite like the eggplant special--it has a Cajun flair with little shrimp on top. It is a must-try. We also spoke to the owner, who was very funny and friendly. We enjoyed being able to see the chefs working diligently in the back as well. We are so glad to have this food option in our new town. We will be back soon!

Wow! How have we missed this place? We live in Baton Rouge and K-K is a short drive and well worth the trip. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We told them we were "First Timers" and they were very helpful and guided us through the menu and made excellent recommendations. The Kafe is very clean. We met the owner, Kamal. He is very cordial and obviously has pride of authorship in his food and restaurant. We had spicy chicken shawarma. FANTASTIC!. This far surpassed the usual fare served under the name of shawarma. We will be regulars from this visit onward. We plan to try other items in addition to the spicy shawarma next visit. Thanks Kamal!

A true diamond in the rough!! This was hands down some of the best middle eastern cuisine I've enjoyed in a long time (if ever). We just came back From a trip to Houston in which we sampled some of their fare. Kamal's was without a doubt an amazing experience. The shawarma was so tender! The gyro meat was absolutely delicious. The baba and hummus were spectacular. Everything was so good!!! I highly, highly recommend this local gem. It is worth the drive from anywhere you may be!

I would give this restaurant 10 stars if that possible, the food is amazing and so delicious.. this is a real Arabic food very very tasty, the owner Kamal is so generous and friendly.. everyone should try their food

First off, definitely get the Ultimate Salad if you come here. It was very good, and the portion was excellent. The wife got thr gyro plate, which she said was dry, so maybe steer away from that.

We have lunch here and the food is good one of the dishes was a bit salty but good anyway they used too much oil . The salad the nice but oily and i thought was just mine but my partner salad too. The rice is nice but is that rice pre-cooked so its ok, but the flavor was good. The hommus had a weird tease but my friends ate it. My partners dish was good but salty and oily.my dish was chicken and the lady recomend the chicken from the ghyro and was delicious... all the food was pretty good the only thing is the food was oily. But other than that very good and delicious. The waitress was cery nice and friendly. They need to fix the light because was a bit dark but we were satisfied with the food and the services. We recommend this places if you want to try something new.

The thing that makes this place work is the person who runs the establishment. Hospitality is key and Kamal doesnt only portray it in his establishment but he is very involved in his community. If you choose to eat here, you will be welcomed. The food is great. The shawarma is spot on with a secret recipe that makes it stand out from the other lebanese restaurants. The delight sauce is creamy and kills any alfredo sauce youve ever had. The food is fresh and there is a drive thru as well for your convenience.

Definitely a bit pricy for what you get. Always chicken shawarma plate for me (shrimp wasn't good at all & definitely tiny). Still, hands down the best hummus I've ever had at a restaurant

Awesome food at a fair price. We enjoy lunch there often. Never had a bad experience there. We have tried just about eveything. I think it's called the mesa for 2 or 4. It is a ton of food and so good, I particularly enjoy the lentils and rice dish. Albania is good. Kamal's is excellent It is our go to place for Greek and Lebonese food.
