Easily some of the best teriyaki I’ve ever had and the sweetest man working behind the counter!! I couldn’t recommend it more it’s soo delicious

Absolutely smacks. For less than $20 this is the best meal you can get in the area. Service is good, food is better. I like the chicken more than the beef but both are great. My order is chicken avacado. Only think is I miss the chili garlic that other places have but this place is still better. Been coming here for two years. Always hits. Not a lot of seating so order takeout if you can.

Plates are normal and tasty, space is small but you can eat in there or take out to office or home.

Simply the best chicken teriyaki bowl I've ever had. I read reviews here and went based on those, but still expecting something mediocre. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh everything was; this is what chicken teriyaki is supposed to be. Don't be put off by its location or exterior; this place is a gem and must visit.

Great value food! This hole in the wall restaurant is fast, reasonably priced, and is well worth the cost. The sauce could be perhaps a bit more, but it costs extra, and dining spaces are extremely limited. If you’re looking to get a quick bite that’s satisfying, I highly recommend! The chicken teriyaki and shrimp was what I had.

This is my favorite Teriyaki place ever hands down. I've been going here for three years and the quality is just as good. The service is super professional and the employees are friendly and you could tell they really value their costumers, especially Steve, he is great! The order ahead is really convenient and they have your food ready in about 10 minutes within calling. Their teriyaki chicken is delicious. Rice is always perfectly cooked, and their veggies are steamed to perfection and are never soggy like other places. This place is not only great to go but also to dine in for a quick bite. Even though It's not super big, the environment is very pleasant and fresh, not to mention very clean too. I highly recommend this place.

I love this place the reason for 4 stars is their meat is a little dry even with all the teriyaki sauce. Avocado is always fresh and rice cooked perfectly. Great crisp on egg rolls too and not too oily.

One of the best teriyaki spots in the area. Fast service and delicious food are what they're good at. Been going here a few years now and never had a bad experience. I will say that it's probably one of my favorite places to eat in South Bay on Saturday for their $4.99 chicken teriyaki bowl! There's usually parking in the lot, but you can park curbside along Hawthorne if it's packed. Calling ahead to place your order for pickup seems to be the most popular, but there's a few tables inside if you want to sit down for lunch. Overall, I gotta give this place a solid 10. The food and facility is clean, there's never any weird bits in my chicken, and the flavor is perfect! You have to check them out if you're local or pass through the area.

My experience there is being not to good, several times they didn’t put the avocado, they forgot, thats the answer they have. Also the chicken is not the best quality, I was thinking that is chicken breast, but what they use is only the leg of the chicken.! Not really like it no more. I

The go-to spot when you're feeling under the weather. Their spicy ramen is my go to, along with the Tuesday and Thursday chicken bowl special.

FIRE!!!!! They got a popular special on Tues & Thurs but I always get that Avo + Chk bowl. Never lets me down. Rainy weather gotta hit Roman Soup they got Noodles + chkn + cabbage + rice and jalapenos !! Always satisfied when I leave that place.

Eat her 2 or 3 times a week. The chicken is tasty, the service is great. Would be 5 star but a few times I have gotten avocado on the side and it has been pitted and old.

I usually get the chicken teriyaki bowl. There is plenty of chicken & sauce. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the price is only $3.99. It is a bargain even at regular price. I try to go at least twice a month, if not more. Great food!

1 year ago we moved away and one of the places we missed the most was Kasai and their amazing teriyaki chicken and beef. Reasonably priced and always delicious, Kasai always comes through when you want something quick, tasty, and cheap. Came back down for the weekend and had to check Kasai off of our list of good LA eats.

This a little hole in the wall. Also hidden gem in Lawndale. Can't go wrong here. Super simple ingredients and fast service. I always get the chicken plate. The steak is pretty good too. Prices are relatively cheap but I wish everything for this location. The spot is also pretty small to eat in so I tend to order pick up.

Relatively inexpensive teriyaki comfort food. Core menu is variations of teriyaki chicken and rice. There can be a wait so best to call ahead. Thursdays are the busier (Thursday special). Overall great for a quick bite or take out.

With so many teriyaki joints around, sometimes you don't know what you will encounter, yet Kasai Teriyaki Bowl on 15335 Hawthorne Blvd is an absolute winner. I had called ahead to see if we needed a reservations for 12 people for 2 days in advance. Wow, when we had arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservations on our reservation, everything was set aside for us when we had arrived. It was Friday evening, of course, packed, yet the service was very professional - timely and smooth. Boy, the food was awesome. I am from SoCal via Honolulu and Japan. I know when I taste a good Teriyaki! Many of us had Teriyaki Chicken Combination. Everyone gave perfect 10! The sauce was flavorful, not too sweet...light and delicious. Chicken was plentiful and the salad was fresh as you can get. I loved it so much, I had ordered 12 orders of take out for the same group (Bible Study Group) in 3 weeks; again, it was a grand slam! The owner of the place had called us 10 minutes prior to our promised arrival time and met us front of the restaurant parking lot.....everything neatly boxed and prepared fresh. Highest recommendations to ya'll if you want a great Teriyaki Bowl served professionally!

Best teriyaki bowls in the south bay. Their sauce is just right....not too sweet and the perfect tangy flavor. I always get the beef and chicken combo with avocado. Their prices are fair and portions generous.

Awesome, wholesome, and cheap bite. Staff is very nice and offered a cup water after i had no money for a drink. Small things like that. Owner is very courteous and a good chat. Try kasai plate, avocado plate (any) and ramen soup. Owner is Korean but his teriyaki is very enjoyable

Kasai Teriyaki is in the same plaza as Manila Wok, House of Donuts, and Dirty South Soul Food. (Across the street almost from El Pollo Inka). The parking lot here is a little small, but we didn't have trouble finding parking. When I got here, I ordered the chicken with avocado (#3). The prices were good, but the avocado was sliced pretty thin, and there wasn't as much chicken in it as I would have liked. The portion seemed big because there was a ton of rice in this. Next time I go, I would probably order the same thing, but make it double meat and double avocado. And, they offer brown rice for 50 cents more. The restaurant is small, there are only two tables that seat four people each, and one table which seats two people. There wasn't anyone there when we arrived so we were able to dine in, but I can see this also being a takeout place. The food arrived pretty fast, the chicken was a little overcooked, but I would come back here.

I tried coming here tonight at around 8:30pm but it was already closed. What are the hours of operation for this place?! I really enjoyed the food before but no hours are listed outside this place and it seems to me the hours are wrong on google as well.
