Quesitos are very good along with the coffee. Very nice atmosphere as well

I returned last week after visting 3 years ago and it just wasnt the same. The staff is rude and I received the wrong order. We spent the rest of our vacation at the coffee shop down the street.

It's disrespectful that I order a revortillo with everything for 12 dollars and they do this to me, it's a robbery

I couldn’t even eat here , as soon as we arrived and got on line I looked in the case where the pastries were and there was 3 flies flying around in the case 1 landed right on a cupcake I just instantly lost my appetite 😏

I just wish it wasn’t so expensive or I would go all the time. This panadería is split on one side you can have a sit down service experience and the other side it’s a cafeteria line. In the middle you can walk up to order cafe , pastries or pan de agua or pan sobao. On my walk home I will get a pan de agua for $2.50. Can get busy with tourist and locals. Secure, parking ,tvs on with basketball , sometimes a horn player at night. Great place

The Sandwiches, Galician broth are spectacular, I bought cheeses to take away and they were old and inedible because of how hard the cream cheese was, you could tell it was old, the WORST cheeses I have ever tasted in my life, ask for everything except cheeses.

Visiting PR and we went in for breakfast, oh surprise, a croissat sandwich with cheese and they charged me almost 8.00 dollars for the cheese and the croissant almost 3.00 dollars. I spoke to a veteran and instead of resolving me she told me that's what it is, terrible. the food, raw dough and the attention of that veteran of the worst to the customer

Yummy food 😋 Very nice servers 🥹 and great atmosphere! We got the Cuban sandwich (very good except for it could have used a bit more mustard), media noche (also very good), ham and cheese sandwich (would not recommend) and a cheesecake (delish). The sandwiches are a bit pricey but they are very large and filling and taste like the ingredients are good quality and fresh.

I have never given such a bad review but the worst service was the burnt coffee because they didn't clean the coffee maker and it really wasn't cheap at all. I hope they improve because one is going to have a good time and ends up leaving displeased. Cheer up, we have to improve, no. take it the wrong way, nice day

The place is clean and has its own parking lot which is very good. Their prices are expensive compared to other places where I have eaten very delicious and they decorate the desserts very beautifully.

The lady that took our order seem like she didn’t want to be there. The person in front of me asked her a question and look at her in a mean way, she asked her again without getting a response. Instead she looked at me and asked me if I was going to order. I saw on the menu they had tostada with avocado so I asked if tostada was bread since tostada for me is a hard tortilla like tortillas chip and she responded yes with an attitude. Then my son asked her if they had ice coffee with flavor then again she gave him an attitude. The avocado toast did not look like an avocado toast it was more like a French bread with a line of an avocado. Coffee was not good either. My son had ordered an empanada with carne (meat) and it was very greasy!

I didn't like it, I don't recommend it and I personally won't return. The food, desserts and coffee do not taste good (there are cafes without a reputation and they do know how to make coffee and desserts); The sandwiches are average. The service is terrible in the dessert area, there is no greeting, they practically don't look at you and immediately "do you want something else or I'm done", so the service has an "F"...and don't forget about the cleanliness, that would be another issue. On the contrary, if you are in your golden age, and want to socialize, I am sure you will like it.

Place is not anything special and overpriced. $18 for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is robbery. Too much cheese on the sandwiches.

Was ok. Stand in line to order food, there was a long line, so took awhile to get the food maybe an hour. My Mallorca ham, egg, cheese was good, but my husband got a croissant, bacon, egg, cheese and his hardly had any egg mostly tons of cheese.

The donuts and cheeses are prepared with gold oh something like that 36 dollars for 4 donuts and 4 cheeses. Not even in the country bakery do they rob people with such prizes and sandwiches, not to mention, and it's not a big deal if they don't assault you.

My family and I had breakfast here on our trip to PR last week. Our Uber driver recommended this place when we arrived. It was good, just that it was overpriced. They did have the best quesitos that we tried, and we went all over the island to different bakeries. I must say, for being such a well known bakery, I was surprised that they don’t have almond or oat milk for the coffee. Cashier lady got upset when I asked about this, as if having dietary allergies and intolerances was irritating to her. Aside from that we enjoyed our sandwiches, quesitos and the atmosphere.

They need to improve their service urgently. I was waiting for 15 minutes in one line to order a sandwich and a soup and when I was going to order they told me that was on the other cashier, where I had to wait another 10 minutes. Then add about 10-15 minutes more to dispatch the order. Total 40 minutes! Food was ok but, too expensive for a lousy service.

I'm happy I went there when it was not very busy. The communication barrier made it difficult but it was not for a lack of trying on both parties. The staff was nice but I'm sure I was getting annoying because of my lack of Spanish skills. Not their fault. The pastries were amazing! I'm so happy I had the opportunity to get something from here before I left. I will be on the list of places to come back to when I visit again.

Very over rated! The cheeses are not crunchy. The Galician broth... lousy!!! Watery and sour.

The service is on the floor, those Dominicans don't want to work, they are of no use, they must change those employees quickly, I haven't gone in years and check the papers that Health goes on Monday.

We came as African American visitors and we never got served like everyone else. This is a really bad look. / African American tourists arrived and we did not love kasalta, We were never served. We waited thirty minutes.

I was trying to give this place a break. 3x I came here. First time it was ok but disorganized. 2nd time they tried to get me for a quarter 😒 & the employee had an attitude. 3rd time I stood in line eveybody was taken care of except for me me. How do you take care or the person behind me and in front of me but not me . Then when everyone left the line they all stood there dumb founded. No one said a word to me so I left . Bad service . For the amount of money being charged this is unacceptable. The food is good but the service is horrible!

Enjoyed my time at Kasalta! We went for breakfast one day and came back the next day to try their desserts. Service was pretty quick and the food was good!

They charged me too much and called me a liar in front of my guest. A friend from abroad came to visit me and I invited him to eat at Kasalta. I ordered, among other things, the sandwich that is advertised on the sign in large letters with a red price at 14.50 on baguette bread with Serrano and Manchego ham and they charged me for it. in 16. I asked the manager to correct it, not because of the 3 dollars but out of principle, and he argued with me insisting that that was not the sandwich I ordered 🤦🏽‍♂️. I congratulate you for the 3 dollars, from now on I take my guests to Jerezana, La Meson or any neighborhood bakery 😂, no more Teasalta for me 🫡

This place is way over priced.. I hate when local buisness takes advantage of the tourist because if you go to the next town over the prices are way cheaper for the same exact food.. the wait was horribly long and not organized.

The food was decent but the service was absolutely horrible. Disgusting attitudes. They messed up our order and when asked for it to be corrected the woman snatched the item out of my hand and angrily tossed it in the trash. Personally I believe if you don't like your job FIND A NEW ONE! Don't project your disgusting attitude on us after paying for an over priced breakfast because we're tourists.

Best sandwiches in the area and other pastry snacks. Spanish type cake shop where you can buy "Caldo Gallego", wines, beers, etc. Free Valet parking.

We went for coffee and breakfast. We were not guided where to order since it was the first time in the place. And we ended up only ordering coffee and toast. I hope to return to enjoy it again.

We had breakfast and I ordered bread with ham and cheese and my God, they take it seriously hahahaha I think my sandwich had about 500g of ham, which for the price seems really cheap… we also ordered bread with scrambled eggs, we ordered also dessert, which were delicious and we asked for some butter as well, and they gave it to us without any problem :)

My husband and I have come here a few times on our vacation so far. The food and pastries are excellent. The issue we have is that they seem to change their prices based on who is ringing you out. The first time we bought a box of pastries they charged us 3.95 for each. The 2nd time we bought a box of pastries they charged is 6 each. I even asked how much they were supposed to be and she said 3.95 but didn't change our order.

The dining experience is nothing short of delightful. Not only is the food delicious but arguably the best pastries in Puerto Rico! The staff service is also top-notch. Parking is ample, (unless you go during peak hours) there's plenty of space to sit and relax, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Very good food, but there is nothing more important than the service. The cashier served in a bitter manner and with a seriousness that took away the desire to ask or order more food. Let's return to paying attention to customer service, which is the most important thing. Day April 27/24 7:55 am

The coffee tastes like coffee, not milk, it's the best. The key lime pie is delicious. That stop in Kasalta can never be missed.

The main dishes section ( comida salada) was so, but so slow that I gave it 4 stars, and that's being very generous. It took me an hour to get 4 dishes! The pastries and two cups of coffee were quickly ordered and served. The best dishes were the octopus salad, olives, out of all the desserts the bread pudding and the coconut dessert.

This place is famous since Barack Obama went there in 2011 but there is nothing to it. Food is good but no service at tables.

The food here was mediocre at best, really lacked love and flavor. The workers are rude, especially the older lady with short blonde hair, who claims she’s a manager and refused to give me her name or assist me in anyway. There were flys everywhere including where the pastries were held trapped inside the coolers. I will never come back here again! Whoever has given this place good ratings, which is what fooled me clearly has low standards for food and hospitality.

Waited 30+ minutes for a coffee. Many people were served before me and the staff scoffed and laughed at me when I asked how long it would be for my one coffee. I don’t mind waiting but they were blatantly rude and disrespectful for no apparent reason.

I think the place is nice, the food is delicious, but the sandwich girl is very rude. She doesn't respond with good morning or good evening. People ask her questions and she is very rude. You say thank you and she doesn't even respond. Everything else seems very delicious to me.
