Felt like I was being taken care of by my grandma. The omelettes are huge and a large orange juice is less than $3. You really can’t beat these prices. The owner can’t hear very well, but they get the job done. Don’t come here expecting fine-dining service — but this place provides another sweet feeling in dining: homey. CASH ONLY!

We ordered Loukaniko sandwich and a vegetarian omelet. I mean the food is ok… just overall greasy. The owner said her hash brown is the best but what came was just sliced potatoes that kind of stick together. Altogether was $25, quite pricey for the quality. Came to this place because it was known a gem in Magnolia. Sad to say, it was nothing special. Just a regular diner. 4-star is misleading. The restaurant is gloomy. Tablewares and table are unclean. Seats and rugs are dirty. Don’t recommend this place. Cash only*

Best breakfast I've had in a long time! The hash brown potatoes are perfect! The absolute best! It's a small restaurant but we came late morning so no waiting. We will definitely go back every chance we get. Super friendly people running the restaurant. They make sure you get what you want. We enjoyed talking with them. Easy parking

Delicious food, and hilarious staff that make you feel very welcome. The Mykonos omelet was wonderful and so was the Greek sausage with eggs. I am very happy this place is here, I highly recommend stopping by.

I pass by here several times a week and finally ordered some breakfast to go. The sausage and potatoes are delicious. The price is very reasonable. The pancakes were huge so two is probably sufficient for almost humans. Ventilation is not good inside but there are some seats outside.

We finally made it to Katina's! I've been wanting to try it for a long while, but with the pandemic we weren't able to go for various reasons. We went for breakfast recently, and not only was the food very good, we were very entertained! Tia is probably my favorite waitress ever! She serves up the delicious food with attitude, but in a good way! She made us feel like family, talking and joking with us. She learned we had recently traveled to Greece, and we were able to swap stories. She made our day! I had a basic breakfast, and it was exactly what I expected. This place is cash only, just FYI. I look forward to returning soon.

Seattle's best Dinner hidden away in Magnolia. Real diner. Been in operation over 50 years. One of the last 3 real diners left in Seattle. New York style. Not the cleanest but best homade home fries in town. Real diner stools that you can spin around on. Real coffee. No BS. CASH ONLY. Eat all your food or the Greek mother comes out and asks why you're not eating her cooking:"What's wrong!-- you don't like my cooking?" Unfortunately, authentic gems like this get discovered and run over in Seattle. Rarely crowded. But that could change very soon.

Crispy hash browns, crispy bottoms on sunny side up eggs, and French toast is fluffy with a thick egg dip. Yummy in the tummy!

I love a good family owned breakfast joint and this one is no exception. Good vibes, delish food, and the kind of friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time in. I got the Greek sausage and blueberry pancake short stack with a black tea, and needless to say, I was one happy camper. Will return with haste - cash only!!

How many times do you eat a meal and are still talking about it when you get home? Two pork chops, two eggs, hand cut hash browns, and a toasted English muffin for $12. A fantastic deal! Served quickly, hot, fresh, and tasty. The server said they ordered fresh food every day. Real eggs, not from a carton. Real hash browns grated right there as we watched from whole potatoes. The restaurant building and interior itself is not flashy and is dated. But as my picky grandson said, "we're not here to eat the building.". Good food and big personalities. Give them a try .

I was up early on a Saturday as I'd been traveling on the east coast. I went out for a walk then realized it was time to eat but it was still in the 6 AM hour. I looked online for top rated open breakfast places and saw Katina's. I took the short drive and upon pulling up to the place debated if I go in or not at all. It looked unimpressive, empty and dark. As I thought about it, the owner came out and warmly welcomed me into the restaurant and I had one of the most fun dining experiences in a long time. She was so personable and went out of her way to make me comfortable, keep my coffee filled and converse with me as I enjoyed the family's simple and tasty, authentic food. I enjoyed the Mykonos omelet yet will try the pork chops next time.

Shady business, do not go here! I ordered bacon and eggs with a side of french toast, which should have been $7.50 + $4.90 = $12.40 + tax, according to the picture of the menu on google. I got there and gave them a $20 bill and asked for change, to which they replied the total cost was $20. When I showed them the menu, they I didn't get change because of tax, which is obviously not $7.60 on a $12.40 order. I showed them the menu online and they shook their head and continued to say my total was $20 exactly, and that they would not honor their own menu price. Not $19.20, not $19.99, but $20...the exact amount of money I gave them. I had to physically take my money out of the woman's hand and told them I would not be paying for the order. At this point, the woman's husband came to the counter and he explained the situation to him. He became very agitated and *screamed at me that he would kill me if I ever came back to his restaurant*. It was one of the most bizarre experiences I have ever had in my life. I called the police and reported the incident and waited for 2 hours for them to show up before finally giving up and leaving. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Been about a decade since I've been in the neighborhood and stopped by. I'm certainly glad I'm back home in Seattle. It's same owner and the pork chop and eggs still delicious. Back 20 years ago these folks always made sure my hung over sleepy 20 year old self had enough to eat. Very sweet folks. They yell at each other in greek a lot, don't let it trouble you. The fan over the grill is loud and owner a little hard of hearing, very sweet folks. And that's TWO pork chops on that plate.

The best fresh omelet I had in Seattle! Everything is homemade. I can suggest the one filled with feta and ground meat. The owner is the friendliest person ever. Thanks!

Had the best omelette I've ever had in my life here, "Katina's Country Omelette" with sausage, feta and onion. Amazingly good, and huge, with homemade hash browns and toast on the side. The elderly owners serve you and cook the food, today Katina's husband was grating potatoes for hash browns as we ate. We could not believe how good the food tasted, how large the portions were, and how inexpensive it was, I seriously do not know how they even turn a profit. We left a humungous tip to compensate. Cash only so bring your dollars, it is totally worth it.

I loved the Mykonos Omelet, amazing sausage and the size was impressive. I noticed some reviews talk about rude staff. I didn't experience that but I can imagine this place isn't for everybody all the time. Think Big Fat Greek Wedding, the culture and generation of extremely familiar, and sometimes a little pushy, strong personalities and a tight knit community. That's why I loved it. It was slow when I came in, I had a wonderful chat and fantastic service. Bringing the wife even though I'm hardly ever in the neighborhood.

Sofie is an amazing chef. Her Katina Omelette was to die for. Portion sizes were generous and atmosphere was welcoming. This will be my first stop any time I’m in Seattle

Don't let looks deceive you. This is located in a little strip mall and is a sort of divey restaurant. We came here the first time after a suggestion from a neighbor. The owner's are a cute older Greek couple that bicker like my grandparents used to. I ordered the gyro and was not disappointed. THE SAUCE!!! So good! We enjoyed it so much that we came back 2 weeks later and got to enjoy the lovely customer service from their daughter. Today we decided to try another very popular local gyro place out of pure convenience and I am so sad that we did because their sauce just did not compare. We wont make that mistake again.

We have a quote called “quality over quantity” but this place has both. Had Athen’s omlette(feta cheese, tomato,onion), it is over 2lbs including mashed potatoes. I hadn’t had lunch after breakfast, since there is no need.

This place is legit. Big food for working people. My wife's omelet was about 5 pounds and stuffed to the max. I ordered eggs over medium with sausage and hash browns. Everything was excellent and served up hot as hell in about 5 minutes. If you want hot fresh food for cheap this is your joint. If you have hipster friends who want a more "authentic experience" they will love it too

Traditional diner from the 60s. Nostalgic and well kept. The cook has been there for half a decade! Home cooking, large portions, great value. American fare with some Greek twist. I stop there after a day's hike at Discovery park.

I was the first person in the Diner today and Katina helped me immediately. As I was undecided on what to order, she offered to make me the Mykonos omelette as a 'surprise' (after asking if I liked Feta, which I do happen to love!) The omelette is perfect, I love the sausage, and the presentation was beautiful! I'll be sure to come back, and I'll try to get a friend to come with me! I showed my support by tipping extra 💙 I love old-fashioned service like this, it really meant a lot. I think it's awesome that the restaurant has been around for so long.

Durante los siguientes 5 años, aparecería algunas veces al mes. Siempre el mismo orden con tostadas y café. $ 12. La amabilidad de la familia y su dedicación a su negocio es insuperable. Después de mudarme fuera de Magnolia, volvía de vez en cuando. Comida fresca. Una sonrisa amistosa. Regresé hoy y deseé haber vivido más cerca. Nada ha cambiado en 25 años y espero que nada cambie en los próximos 25 años. Entra una vez para el desayuno, algo de comida griega. Hable sobre Grecia, pida una historia o una conversación amistosa. Delightfully good! We found this place by accident and will have to go back. The tables and decor are a bit rundown so when you first walk into Katina's, you wonder if you are going to regret eating there. You're not. I got an omelette with ground beef, spinach, onion and feta. The omelette had a beautiful golden color and it was amongst the best I've ever had. Everything tasted fresh, especially the spinach. The potatoes weren't typical hash browns but were nicely seasoned and perfectly crispy. My friend got bacon and over-medium eggs. It's rare to actually get eggs that are perfectly cooked, but they did it! The woman who owns the place said that r they've had the place for 48 years and obviously takes great pride in making sure they are serving high quality, great tasting food. We're not in Magnolia too often, but will definitely find reasons to come here again!
