I stopped by on my way out of Atlanta headed back to Florida. Very good service and high quality kratom and kava. I had a little bit of trouble finding it initially. Make sure you turn in from Abernathy, there is a shared parking lot with other businesses. I initially can from the cross street and had to circle around because I couldn’t see a way in. Overall excellent and worth the trip.

This is Kava done right. Respect to the plant, honoring the tradition, harmonious relationship, and crediting to the farmers. I loved hearing of all these thoughtful practices. Gracious and informative hosting done in a cozy atmosphere with excellent kava and elixir. Very clean environment with relaxing vibe and a plethora of activities as you find your chill. I will definitely be back in my travels! A little tought to findusing Google maps be sure to go using apple maps.

Wonderful kava and kratom bar!! We were on a trip to Chicago from Florida and in a pinch, and we were able to get some Kratom and some of the best kava me and my wife have ever had!! Chill atmosphere and awesome people made for a great night here. Top shelf Kratom as well and pretty sure she sells it wholesale bulk kava and Kratom!!

Came here today for the first time, im used to the kava scene in Florida, however I was thoroughly surprised with this bar. They use crushed leaf for their greens and it’s not easy to find crushed leaf in the US. If ur in the area come check them out!

Simply put, Kava Mama is one of my all-time favorite kava bars! And I’ve probably visited upwards of 50 or so over the past few years. I live in South Florida, but I pop into Kava Mama every time my job brings me to Atlanta. The owner Angie is an absolute gem of a human and has truly built something special. The atmosphere is inclusive and welcoming, and the space itself is so cozy and charming with lots of comfortable seating and tables to post up and work or study. My favorite aspect is the giant mural depicting an authentic kava ceremony. The drinks themselves are all amazing. You can tell Angie only uses super high quality ingredients. From their kratom teas and kava to their bottled drinks, everything is smooth, strong, and really tasty. Her husband Shaun and all the kavatenders I’ve met are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. If you’ve never been, definitely go and check it out! They’ll happily answer any questions you have and will make the perfect recommendation based on whatever effect you’re looking for. I love that you can stop by and hang out for a while or just grab a drink to go. I can’t wait to visit their second location and I hope that the kava culture continues to grow in Atlanta!

I am so happy I found out about this place! I discovered this upon my journey to a healthier lifestyle as they had them in NYC and so I was exited when I found out there was one in ATL. They have the best kava and kratom! I have hung out there before and it’s small but cute and cool, I would hangout there more if I was closer. The people and staff are always so nice. But it’s great that you can go there and grab a jug or two to go. I love what the owner has done, I only really got to talk to Helena when we first came in but she was so sweet and heplful and explained the sourcing etc, and made our first time so much better!

After hearing great things, I visited Kava Mama for my first kava experience, and it truly lived up to the positive reviews. The welcoming atmosphere created by Ms. Kava Mama and the regular customers made it a delightful setting for my first kava bar visit. Ms. Kava Mama is very knowledgeable about the products and was kind enough to offer me a complimentary kava shot for my first time and allow me to sample other products.I made several purchases from their diverse inventory, and everything has been enjoyable so far. The kava and kratom are authentic from Fiji and Indonesia! If you're in search of genuine products, I highly recommend checking out this establishment. If you are looking for a cool, sober-friendly spot, this is it! Easy 5 out of 5 – highly recommend. I'm not local to Atlanta, but I'm excited to return to Kava Mama when I'm back in the area. In the meantime, I'll be ordering delivery to keep the good vibes going.

Very cool hidden gem of a kava bar in Atlanta, GA! Excellent kava and tea. Angie and Sam are very personable and will make you feel right at home! Make sure to say Hi to Bella as well, she blends right into the couch ;-)

Lovely lil spot! Angie is so so wonderful and I didn’t catch the kavatenders name but they were so great and genuine, was really great meeting them and the other customers there. Always a spot I’ll have to stop at and visit when in ATL and get some yummy brews💛🍂 thank you again! Now back off to TPA

This was my second time at Kava Mama today, and I am just as happy as the first. The owners (Angie and Sean [I hope I spelled that right]), are wonderful people. The vibe in the building is amazing, the conversation deep and heartfelt, and it feels like you've just come home. The product is amazing as well. As someone who is becoming more health conscious and getting away from drinking, this is a nice way to unwind without the hangover, and without the brain fog alcohol brings. Highly recommend, and they will answer any questions you have on the different kava types. Pressed daily in house. Make sure you order ahead as it's made the day of for prime freshness and potency!

This quaint shop is full of holistic goodies. The 2 worker's names escape me, but both are very friendly and knowledgeable about kava and kratom. The products are great and reasonably priced. The shop is also great for WFH people looking for a welcoming space to collaborate, work, or just chill. You have a returning customer in me!

Kava Mama the place - and the person - is amazing! I'm not a kava connoisseur by any means, so having Angie - the aforementioned "Kava Mama" - to guide us was great! If you don't know much about Kava, I recommend coming here. If you know a lot, we saw some regulars with a lot of Kava experience that seemed right at home, so I'd also recommend it! They have kava, kratom and some other stuff, both for drinking in or to go!
