I wanna be in here all day, it's such a nice space. Quality kava and the drinks are great too. I love that it provides the social aspects of a bar and has entertainment (pool, music, games, etc). But it also is cozy and relaxing like a coffee shop. Perfect spot to catch up with friends or get to know someone new, or work remote for the afternoon. Can't recommend enough!!

If I lived in Richmond, I'd spend way too much money here. The kava and mocktails are rivaled only by the service and atmosphere. Such an awesome spot.

I love this spot! Excellent vibes! Stopped in yesterday and got to enjoy live music. I love the atmosphere and the chance to relax without alcohol. Definitely check it out!

Wonderful atmosphere and oddly enough they encourage you to stay as long as you like! Great for telecommuting for sure! Always the friendliest of kavatenders.

Everything is simple and clean but not sterile or underwhelming. The vibe is super intentional, but not in a curated cloying way. Lastly other spots like this generally lean hard into woo-hippy-ideology or contradict the inherent ethos by fleshing out the place with a bunch of stuff that's only there to satisfy customers that wouldn't generally go to this sort of place. Kava Lounge does neither and I love that.

Perfect vibe for the sober community in RVA!! I had the Non Colada and OMGGG! The drink reminded me of a snickerdoodle cookie. I will definitely be back!!

I have been to Kava FIVE times since they have opened and I will keep going! I love the atmosphere and decor. Its perfect for catching up with friends or getting work done. The drinks were great, my go to is the blueberry mojito but I also enjoy the non-colada!

I tried kava here for the first time. Highly recommend the kava shot and cocktail combo! They have a great mocktail selection and the decor is very cool. I’ll be back to enjoy a drink, some food and catch up on studying. KavaClub has a nice open space to either chill with friends or be productive.

Fun vibe, tasty mocktails + kava, friendly staff Finally got to try KavaClub and can't wait to go back! The space: larger than expected with plenty of artistic flourishes that make it unique but inviting. We sat at the bar but appreciated the distinct seating areas that can easily accomodate singles as well as small and larger groups. The drinks: mocktails were delicious and meticulously prepared with care. I liked both the blueberry and lime drinks enough to order them again some time but found my favorite with the spicy jalapeno-garnished Spicy Summer. The kava: earthy but smooth and goes down surprisingly easily both mixed into the mocktail and as a separate shot. Be brave and order the coconut shell for the full experience. The staff: both bartenders were attentive and friendly, answering all our questions and making light conversation now and then without hovering or feeling intrusive. In a city filled with good and great bars and restaurants, KavaClub really stands out as something special and unique.

My wife Betsy took me here for the first time. Kava completely changed our lives. Betsy was going through menopause and was quite drastic in attitude. A few sips later, she was the loving lady I married 20 years ago of whom I thought had died in spirit and character. Our marriage was dead until we found this place. Thanks ya’ll!

I’ve been couple times now and love the trendy/social atmosphere. I don’t drink so trying this club has been on my list and I was not disappointed. The bartenders are super nice and I go there to play pool with friends. My favorite is the blueberry mocktail. Give it a try!

I’ve been drinking kava regularly for a couple years, and the kava blend they serve here is some of the best I’ve had- tasty and well-balanced. Employees are really friendly, and the atmosphere and decor are fantastic. My only hope is more people catch wind and come in and support this place!

Cute little spot. Kava is fun, bigger in FL than VA as far as I know but this place does it well.

I went to KavaClub for a meeting, but walked out feeling less stressed and more knowledgeable about the Kava root. Remy was behind the bar with a friendly face. They helped me understand what I was about to drink and provided great conversation. I'm usually a bit more reserved, especially in new spaces, but found my self more loose while sipping my cup of Kava. I could still feel the freeing effects when I headed to a mixer event afterward. The space is really inviting and pretty to look at and Remy and Kaity made you feel welcomed. I'm looking forward to going back during some of the community events held there and trying more of their drinks.

Quirky and relaxing environment, well educated staff. The kava and mocktail combo is a great deal! Also note, there's a board game / coloring cubby. Very much enjoyed that - good communal engagement opportunity.

Had a 4 oz serving and 2 others in our party a 2 oz with a mock tail. I would recommend drinking a couple ozs of the mock tail and adding the kava. Definitely chilled us out. Loved it!

I absolutely love hanging out here. Great vibe to relax, sit in a comfortable, inviting space, engage in great conversation, and enjoy non-alcoholic beverage options. I recently slowed down my alcohol consumption considerably. This place provides me a space to socialize and get a tasty drink. Now that they have Kava, its even better. The kava is really high quality and is such a nice alternative to alcohol. Go check it out.

Fun new non alcoholic bar/hangout area on Main Street in RVA. I had a NA blueberry mule and it was delicious. Drinks are $7-$15; kombucha on tap is the least expensive drink. They have a pool table, games and a couch/table in the front, and awesome art from a local artist, Tommy Fox. The staff are very friendly! Not serving kava tea just yet though and they do not serve food!
