Pai thai tasted like nothing but basil and was super dry. General tsos has no sauce and they use dark meat. Crab ragoons have barely anything in them and it’s brown inside and shrimp toast was burnt

Just wondering if they are going to reopen?

This place is amazing! They not only have your typical Chinese takeout, they also have Thai, Korean, some Mongolian, and Vietnamese. The owner is very sweet and seems dedicated to his customers. He always remembers all my weird quirks and special orders like wanting general Tsos sauce with my sweet and sour shrimp, hot and sour soup but just the broth, and crushed peanuts with all noodle dishes. They even have amazing Thai iced tea! I can not wait until they reopen, nothing around here even comes close!

I never write these reviews, but....... I've been coming here for close to 25 years. The website says 15 minutes for a carryout order, don't believe it. More like 40 minutes and as a special bonus there was a long hair in my food. Not sure if I'll be back any time soon. I tried Key Wok again! I am sad to say that after 25 years of great food I will no longer ever again order something from Key Wok. I ordered Szechuan chicken for dinner and not only was the whole order all sliced onion with barely any chicken, there was absolutely no flavor at all! How do you make Szechuan chicken and have no flavor............no spicy, no sweet, no hot peppers. WTH! Honestly, the duck sauce and rice had way more flavor then the main dish. I'm so disappointed that I have to find a new Chinese style restaurant!

Worst Chinese to ever cross my lips. Asked for extra hot mustard and got 2 total with my $72 purchase. Yellow curry tastes like nacho cheese sauce. If you rate this place over a 1 star you are too delusional to live.

My favorite Chinese take out in the area! Love their shrimp with broccoli, chicken with broccoli, general Tso’s shrimp, general Tso’s chicken, shrimp mei fun, shrimp fried rice, spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and sweet and sour chicken.

Very quick and good price point. Last time, the fried rice was a bit salty (too much Soy Sauce perhaps). Always a success with the Singapur noodles , beef /. Chicken and broccoli.

Believe it or not, from a meat eater, amazing VEGAN General Tso’s chicken! I drive an hour just to get it! You get a huge portion too! I will never stop getting it as long as this place stands

I ordered pork lo mein and hot and sour soup last time. I have been multiple times and saw how highly everyone rated it and thought maybe I’m not ordering the right things or they were off this day but at best it’s mediocre. There is better Chinese food out there.

I ordered crispy beef and Singapore rice noodles. So yummy 😋. Delivery is fast. The employees are friendly. I will definitely come back again.

Had a great dinner special. Everything was crispy and clean tasting. Not a big egg roll person but honestly I devoured mine it was 10/10.

Love this little joint. When it comes to great Chinese food in the Pasadena area I only have 2 places I'll order from ever. And Key Wok is one of them. I believe it's family run and owned and these people are wonderful, very nice, very polite. I highly recommend the fried dumplings!!!

Owner Ren is super friendly guy. Great Chinese food and friendly service is the best prices in the Pasadena area. The place is Clean and organized with great selection of cold drinks and classic appetizers selections. It's my go to for lunch or dinner. Or when my wife craving Beef with Broccoli lol.

I’ve been in Pasadena now for three years it truly is a food desert the food out here is awful Key wok Was such a pleasant surprise their food is absolutely delicious and was delivered so fast I couldn’t believe that they are definitely the go to Chinese restaurant in Pasadena absolutely fabulous

Sorry I hate to write a bad review but that was horrible. Dumpling were way to thick and greasy. Got a triple pho with beef tip n tenderloin I don't know what was suppose to be meat but it was just fat. Yet alone something white I don't even know what it was look nasty.

Great Chinese food in general, but they also make Pho and it might be the best kept secret in Pasadena! Big Bowls of Pho and they are all excellent. Pho is hiding on the menu under "Big Bowls" so look for it there.

Love how to follow CDC procedures with having pickup outside versus a crowd inside. The food taste great and it is affordable. A nice little hole in a wall spot for take out.

Excellent food and since we are just around the corner we always do a pick up. Most issues people seem to have here are with delivery; however that's done through GrubHub and shouldn't be an issue with this establishment. The parking lot here has a lot to be desired however it's still better to pickup B's having a third party deliver for you.

I'm picky when it comes to Chinese food, I've had too many that have been mushy, slimy, dry, or rubbery . This place tho, excellent. The shrimp fried rice was amazing, had real flavor and the shrimp were awesome. Miso soup and rest of the food was just average but still tasted better than the majority of places I've tried lately. Better than the food tho was the service. Delivery off grub hub said 60-75 mins so I swung thru to grab it. They were so nice, my order was fufilled and I didnt have to check. The place seemed pretty clean too. All in all I think I found my new Chinese spot.

My daughter just moved to the area and we were given a gift certificate for Key Wok. The ribs were very good as was the moo shu pork, beef with Chinese vegetables and the happy family. I went to pick up the food and met the owner. He is such a pleasant and accommodating person. Note the take out menus have coupon on the back. Will definitely be back for takeout again.

Stopped in and ordered their shrimp egg foo young lunch special for $5.95. They gave us two large "pancakes" with a side bowl of gravy, a big portion of pork fried rice and an egg roll. Everything tasted great! We have our favorite Asian restaurant in the area but this one is definite competition for them. We will be going back.

This is my go-to place for Chinese food. It's good and quick. Portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Recommended!

Best Asian food in Pasadena!!! I eat sweet and sour chicken in every Asian Resturant I enter and I judge a Resturant on 3 criteria. The sweet and sour chicken. The hot and sour soup. The egg rolls. I then judge the meals on crispness, sweetness and freshness of ingredients. How does the sweet and sour chicken taste at Key Wok? Awesome, crispy fresh and sweet and sour! The hot and sour soup is hot and sour! It bites the tip of your tongue!! Excellent⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The egg rolls are crispy and cabage is fresh and crisp. This is why this Resturant gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

the prices are great. the food quality is even better. i've honestly had different chinese food from all over and around the area from "Lucky House" to "Kings Chef" to "No 1" and none can compare to Key Wok. their service is Quick, Respectful, Polite, Professional, And Delicious. i honestly enjoy their service and food.

I ordered online and it took a while to arrive which wasnt an issue cause i wasnt in a hurry or super hungry. I called in to see if my food was on its way and she was super nice. The food is great :)

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious and they are great about little changes to the food or swapping something out, etc. If you order often, they get to know you and will remember your order! How is that for service! :) Love it here
