Very high quality authentic pure warm and healthy food

Great indian pure no eggs vegetarian restaurant with a variety of wonderful dishes and desserts with a daily 1130am to 3pm lunch buffet. Can order a thali plate similar to buffet outside of buffet hours. Definitely definitely definitely call before going as sometimes closed due to private parties and closed on Tuesdays. Ask to try their popular Indian dessert called shri khant. The cool Dessert of kings. Ask for their lunch buffet thali during covid as it's much less expensive than the dinner thali. Also you can take away lunch buffet weight by the pound and cheaper than eating in lunch buffet which is now very very very expensive around $16 weekdays and $19 weekends

I should berate myself for not heeding to the bad reviews I read about this place. I was really looking forward to eating at this “authentic Gujarati restaurant “ after reading its rave reviews. All I got was diarrhea and stomachache there. Went 5 times to the toilet until my stomach was empty. I couldn’t trust myself to walk confidently without soiling my pants. Went home and spent the rest of my day resting in bed. I was too weak. The main problem is the stale food. Another observation I made was that Mr Chavda was friendly and polite only with his old customers. The toilet in his bathroom is of a very poor quality. It doesn’t work properly especially if you have to use it multiple times after getting an upset stomach from the restaurant food. I was so exhausted after visiting the restaurant toilet several times that it was very difficult to drive home. A caveat to all customers: When you eat at this restaurant, please make it a point to ask if the food that you are being served is absolutely fresh or how old it is. Seniors, please remember, bad food can give you a heart attack. Friends, NEVER TRY TO SAVE MONEY BY EATING AT A CHEAPER RESTAURANT. At the end of the day, you wouldn’t save any money if you spent $5000 at the local ER.

Overall it's a good restaurant. The meals are abundant, especially the Gujarati, Punjabi, and Kathiyawadi Thali's (which are enough for 1 or 1.5 people depending on hunger). The food is a bit expensive, but given the quantity is okay it makes sense. They also make the Gujarati dishes too sweet, which might be from local differences in Orlando. Otherwise, I would recommend eating here but not overspending because the quantity is big enough.

STALE FOOD..#BEWARE..we actually got almost sick...ww had a takeout too but thankfully we reheated (same day), which made it obvious that food is stale and now rotten...very disappointing

This place is the most authentic Gujrati vegetarian food you can eat in the whole United States!! I was so impressed considering I’ve traveled all around the US looking for authenic indian food.This is a family owned business and all was so friendly and welcoming. We recently did catering for small group of family members from Khasiyat and the food was very good. Quantity was also good. I had ordered for 11 adults and easily another 5 members could have eaten. Gajar halwa for dessert and was outstanding. Thank you 😊

We took buffet over there and trust me it was definitely the best we ever had. We got chance to experience Gujrati Cuisine and it was so delicious. Would definitely visit this again while on my next trip.

Khasiyat Indian Restaurant is really good - definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in all of Orlando! Indian food is our favorite food and we’ve tried many different places around this city and Khasiyat nails the flavors better than most. This is a vegetarian Indian restaurant specializing in serving Gujarati food, and they have some very unique dishes you won’t find anywhere else. We came for their lunch buffet and it was good - a little expensive, but every dish at the buffet was something we would happily get again. We’ve never tried Gujarati food before, but Khasiyat gave a great first impression and we will certainly be having it again when we can! As I said though, a little expensive for the buffet - $17 per person is high, especially when there are other Indian restaurants that cost less per person and use actual plates and silverware. Khasiyat uses paper plates and plastic utensils, and as it’s also vegetarian (no expensive meat), I think it should be more like $11-14 per person. All in all, still a great option and if you’re looking to try something different from what is found at other Indian restaurants, check out Khasiyat! We will be coming again!

Its Gujarati food. 100% vegetarian which is awesome but it's not regular buffet with real plates. You have to eat in Styrofoam plates.

Authentic Indian street food experience in Orlando. We tried different chaats, vada pav and masala chai. Food, ambience and people made us feel right at home. Fresh ingredients and clean atmosphere. It’s the right place to try variety of Indian vegetarian food.

They catered my son's wedding and did a great job. Everyone enjoyed the food. They were punctual and brought good portion sizes. They were all very friendly and easy to talk to especially Ashokbhai and Shubham.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Not only is there a variety of food choices (go during buffet time), but they're all delicious in different ways: savory, sweet, spicy, comforting, and rich. If you are looking for pure veg Indian restaurants in Orlando. This is the best. I tried the buffet. They give fresh roti/puri in the buffet. They had pav bhaji, cheese cutlet, lauki halva. Fruit shrikhand ,Dahi wada, 4 veg curry, gujarati daal, rice , salad, papad, mix veg raita and few more things I don't remember. The best thing was fresh roti/puri and aloo Gobi sabzi lauki halva. I want to try thali also but that is costlier than a buffet with less items.will try next time.

Food was yummy and served hot. We went around 4.30, had Gujarati and Punjabi thali. Enjoyed it! Followed garma garam cardamom chai ! But the location of this restaurant is very ok, doesn’t give a good vibe !

Fantastic dinner from Ashok Kaka as always. Young ManjulaBen served us what we had ordered from her. We ordered some Thalis, Paneer and spring rolls. The food was excellent, well prepared, the right amount of spice for us and well presented. ManjulaBen checked on us several times to see if the food was okay and did we require anything else. As a surprise, Ashok Kaka, brought out Shushila Kaki from the kitchen to say hello to us. Every year we visit Khasiyat, this has been our go to Indian restaurant for the last 15 years, and we continue to call on them every year in the future for our visits to Orlando. Thank you Ashok Kaka, Shushila Kaki and ManjulaBen.

Great place for quick eat. Not a fancy place but it makes up by having awesome food!!! Portions are healthy and prices are great. Service is excellent. Definitely worth the under ride to get there from universal area. Everything was delicious. Hope they bring back the steel plates soon! Definitely will come back to this one!

Mid July 2023 KHASIYAT - A Hidden Gem!! Decor is minimalist, with vintage tables and chairs. Not a place to visit if you care about ambience. Food is what will drive people here. The place, although no-frills in its decoration, makes up for it with the quality of the food served. KHASIYAT Authentic, freshly made, Indian home style Gujarati food cooked with love. In Orlando we were shopping at Patel Bros. and around the lunch hour Just searched on internet and landed in this restaurant to try their Indian Gujarati Buffet. We choose the buffet over the thali, as we were hungry, which was very good value for money, loads of authentic Gujarati food with a nice homemade touch. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food A variety of vegetarian dishes. Kadhi and dal, three varieties of different vegetables, Lilva Kachori, kadhi pakoda, Bagan Bhartu, Palak paneer, Dum aloo, Gulab jamun, salad, white rice, carrot pickle, raita, Rose milk Shake in the buffet. They served unlimited freshly made roti and Poori right at our table which were soft. Finger licking food taste in all of them was a huge factor in this review. Highly recommend this place! Overall ghar ka khana, tasty with a smiling staff. Their hospitality was next level and food tasted too good. It took me back to my mother-in-law’s prepared garam Phulka days.

Once again a magical buffet lunch. Manji Kaka has not aged at all in the last 10 years. He always welcomes us with a big smile and tells us it’s good to see us again. Prafula Kaki came out from the kitchen and hugged: Manjula (my wife), Kavita (my mom), Lalita (my daughter), and Sanjulina (my sister). Plenty of options from the buffet and we were treated to some complimentary sodas from the fridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will go back in a few days. We will be at the Kantha for the next few days, and Manji Kaka is providing the catering for thousands of attendees expected for the appointment of the a new spiritual leader for the Bapashree Temple. An absolutely awesome experience on a recent family trip for 3 weeks in July 2023. We have been regulars here every year we visit. Ashok Bhai, Namina Ben and the team look after after so well. We were fortunate to meet Murji Kaka as he was over from California to attend a Satsang for Bapu. Very affordable and freshly prepared food, good choice for buffet, and hot from kitchen: Roti or Puri. Eating stress free in a clean and safe environment. Thank you all. An excellent lunch time buffet meal for the family. Manji Kaka welcomed us back, he remembered we are regular visitors every year. We were also pleasantly surprised to see Kanji Mama as well, he was over for a Satsang for Bapu being held in Orlando this year. The food was great, we had fresh puri brought over as well

Fabulous place for an Indain Buffet lunch. I recommend going to lunch a tad late, like 1:00, else it can be rather busy as the buffet is quite popular! The restaurant seems a tad small for it popularity, but the taste and quality of food more than made up for close quarters.

Khaysiyat were catering a wedding lunch at a 5* hotel in downtown Tampa. There were approximately 150guests. Before going for the lunch I informed the lead manager for event about peanut allergy. I was informed that there wasn’t any peanuts used!!! My daughter did ate only rice and Puri (like a bread). She within 30 minutes experienced difficulty in breathing and developed hives. She wasn’t taken to the emergency room in hospital and received treatment. This was extremely unpleasant event which was life threatening as well as traumatic for all of the families. After reaching out to the owner there was sympathy but again denied use of any peanut related ingredients. Without contacting me he made a settlement $*** with the bridal contractor who accepted. He felt that was acceptable. But when I reached out to him he texted back with a very rude response. I would like to make people aware with allergies to be extremely cautious about eating there.

Very crowded today for their buffet. However food was extremely delicious and satisfying. This is my go to restaurant whenever i am in Orlando. Been going here for more than 20 years. Still the best by a mile ! Love the service hospitality and genuine cooking. Phulkas and rotis came out piping hot

Pure vegetarian & quality food. Very kind, helpful and family oriented people like Subham run this restaurant! I got to meet Subham by just calling to see if they provide a Khichadi for my 2 year daughter and he gladly help me even if restaurant was not open for public. This restaurant was a savior while my stay at near by hotel!

We had Khasiyat cater our wedding events last week and let me say it was the BEST decision we made. Mitesh, his dad, and the team made the process so smooth and executed our wedding events flawlessly. They are receptive, supportive, transparent, and a true joy to work with. We consider them family now! Our guests could not stop talking about our wedding lunch and how flavorful everything was (gujju and non gujju folks). We highly recommend them for any event and we will definitely be visiting the restaurant to eat all the delicious food!!! Thank you so much mitesh and the khasiyat team!!

There are very few vegetarian only restaurants in Orlando and this is one of them. Be informed that the location is a poor urban area and the inside ambiance is not very polished too. There are buffet and A la carte Options. Buffet was 14.99$ and the Punjabi , gujarati thali (no refills) on the menu were 19.99$ each. Ordering off the menu would have been better as the food might have been freshly prepared for us, but we opted for buffet as we were really hungry. There were 2 Gujarati curries and 2 Punjabi curries , gujarati dal and sambar along with big and small samosa, some gujarati fried vegetable balls, papad, idly, gulab jamun, rava cake, salad, white rice, carrot pickle, raita, pistachio milk Shake in the buffet. They served unlimited freshly made roti and Poori at the table which were really soft. I gave this only 3* because a couple of curries in the buffet were spoiled. But the overall taste is good, staff were very friendly.

They have lunch buffet 11-3 pm on weekends. Good Indian food, pretty authentic.

After tasting couple of restaurants in Orlando we decided to give a try to Khasiyat. As soon we entered , we were greeted by the owners family. Their hospitality is next level and food tasted too good . Everything was warm and freshly prepared. We will definitely recommend to family and friends. I am not sure how I missed this place since last 5 years I have stayed in Orlando. The food is really authentic and tasty. I went in for lunch buffet and had one of the best gujarti dishes in long time and it has a nice home made touch. Highly recommend this place!

Not a good restaurant if you have kids as they don’t care about allergies. Worst experience ever. We will never eat again here. There are plenty of other nice India cuisines. Recommend woodlands and Bombay street kitchen.

If you are missing home food, this is the place to go. Super delicious and fresh Indian food. We went in for a buffet and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I did not like the taste of the food

I had catered food from Khasiyat for 30 guests on two separate occasions. We had a variety of snacks, main course and desserts. The food was excellent. Our guests were Indians, Americans and American Indians and they were unanimous in their praise for the laajawab taste of every item. Mr. Ashok was very receptive and helpful and gave us coolers and warmers for the food. Our only regret was that they could not do delivery and service. Highly recommended.

I had Khasiyat cater for my wedding this past October and we couldn’t have been happier. Food is the one thing people remember and we have family and friends still raving about it weeks later. Worked with Mitesh and he helped us so much with the menu and gave us great ideas and recommendations! We got the live jalebi and that was a huge hit. Everything was so tasty and can’t wait to do other events with them!

My grandma loves the food here so I know it meets a very high standard. I didn’t get a chance to try it myself on this trip but seeing the joy it brought my dad and grandma to enjoy the food was well worth the trip and they’ll continue to return regularly for more.

Had chole bhature, spring roll and batata vada. Food was absolutely tasteless. Saw few house flies howering. Also, they don't serve south Indian food anymore. What made me laugh is lemon and chilli hanging at the entrance to ward off evil spirit. Looks like the owner strongly believes in black magic.

Khasiyat catered my wedding in May 2021 and did an amazing job. I worked with Mitesh for ~1.5 years in coming up with a vegan menu. Mitesh and his staff were very receptive and supportive. Through this process they were able to make many items that are traditional items vegan for our wedding, including: Gulab Jamun Pizza Palak tofu Seitan chicken with gravy Navratan korma Sliders made with impossible meat Avocado keg ole Mac and cheese balls Egg tartlets Seitan chicken tikka station Vegan breakfast burrito Apple coconut barfi Badam katli Vegan taco station Vegan nacho station Beyond beef and mushroom empanadas And much more I have included photos of the food from the events and taste tests. I highly recommend Khasiyat and Mitesh, especially if you need catering for a vegetarian/vegan wedding. If I could give Mitesh ten stars, I would. Truly an amazing job from a passionate chef!

Delicious Gujrati food. Highly recommended.

This is one and only restaurant in US which serves you food just like home.I was overwhelmed to eat freshly made rotis - so soft and hot right from the stove. The kadhi pakoda, Palak paneer , dum aaloo, shrikhand we ordered were so palatable. Khichadi was authentic khichadi. My kids who are picky eaters, ate this food without any hesitance. It’s a very simple restaurant , very clean and best serves the hungry tummy. Five stars from my side !

It is disappointing they are closed on weekends. They are irregular in their timings. They close abruptly also.

I’m jealous of Orlando locals who have a place like this. Place was kind of out of the way but we are so glad we went there. Kathiawadi Thali…well how specific can you get to region within a region for food! And to have the taste to remind you of taste from that region in all the items is a tall order. They did it though! Simply amazing. Move to southern Gujarat for some Undhiyu Puri and they knocked it out of the park. Chole Puri after showing off their specialty would only make sense if it was not true North Indian taste. So we thought. Wrong! Awesome authentic homemade taste. Family owned. Mom’s recipes and cooked by her. Soooo gooood! An awesome plus was that they make Indian sweets and snacks in a big way right at this location. We got to get a few items which aren’t easily available at local groceries. We were so pleased with how amazing they were. When in Orlando, we will return for sure. Great service. Place is clean. Each item in Thali was so tasty and same was true for other dishes. If you are looking for authentic regional taste and want to get away from commercialized Indian food at a typical Indian restaurant, this place is a must visit for Gujarati food for sure and for Indian food in general. I've been coming here for many years. I describe it as if your grandmother was Indian and cooked for you. The dal soup is the best I've ever had. The owners are always friendly. I've introduced many people to this restaurant and all of them have enjoyed it. If you want an authentic Indian buffet go try it. You can't beat the price either.

A Hidden Gem !! We made a visit following good reviews about this place and IT WAS A GREAT VISIT because of reasons... 1 Hospitality that really warms you 2 They serve Indian Bread (Roti) right from kitchen to your table as they're being cooked. Not like other places where bulk breads are made and they sitting on a buffet table and eventually lose freshness / taste. 3 Quite a few items to choose from 4 And the price is VERY REASONABLE !!
