What an awesome place! Food was great, service too. Enjoyed barley tea for the first time and absolutely loved the sides that came with our meals. There wasn't a lot of seating but the overall feel of the place was relaxing. Would definitely go again.

This place is lovely. Nice variations on traditional flavors. Welcoming atmosphere. I think someone saw my friend and my plentiful purple and BTS logos and played their music for us. We were on our way to a BTS movie and it was the perfect start. 😊💜 I've thought this the day they opened - and I'm going to yell it: LOWER YOUR SIGN 6 FEET. IT IS INVISIBLE THROUGH THE TREES FROM THE STREET. It would be even better painted across the canopy 10x the size. I wanted authentic Korean food on this visit to Seattle, and Kimchi House was recommended. There is limited seating so we had to wait for a table, but the atmosphere was friendly and happy. The focus was on the food and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. The barley tea was the perfect compliment to our food choices. I love noodles and the japchae was amazing! Even the most critical of our group raved about the spicy chicken and the kimchi.

I ordered a Korean seafood pancake for dinner last month. It tasted a little sour. I thought it was the taste of Kinchi. However, the Korean pancake I ate at another Korean restaurant was very fresh and not sour at all. I think the seafood I ate at Kinchi House must have been stale.

This place is a gem. Love their spicy chicken and ban chan. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always the same great folks running things.

This place is an absolute 10/10. The food was incredible, even for delivery. The kimchi and banchan was so fresh and tasty. The main dishes we got were the Kimchi Soondubu, Kimchi fries, Kimchi Fried rice, and the Bulgogi. My partner and I were blown away at how delicious everything was. Will be eating again!!

Unpretentious cafe serving fresh Korean food. Late night Dol sot BiBimBap and Kimchi Ramen hit the spot. The bowl was sizzling hot and the crunchy rice just right. Good quality and fast. The staff was gracious and efficient. They are on my short list now for Ballard eats.

Came at 4pm on a weekend. They are closed 3-4pm. They do take credit card, contrary to the google description (it’s not cash only). The food was excellent. We had kimchi fries, seafood pancake, bulgogi, and hot stone bibimbap. The kimchi fries were good. Everything else was amazing. Next time I would skip the kimchi fries. This is the best Korean place I’ve tried in Seattle. Highly recommended. Counter serve, very nice staff. The seating area is not that big but it’s a nice atmosphere. I liked that had a lot of stuff so up for self serve that you would have to find someone to ask at other places (extra small plates, utensils, sauces, hot barley tea, water, and even to go boxes). We really loved this place.

The kimchi fries are fantastic. Huge comfort food vibes when I had a really bad week. I've never dined in but I have called ahead and ran in to grab things.

I've eaten here a few times, both dine in and takeout, and the food is always solid. There aren't many tables inside, but even the takeout is great. You can tell they put a lot of thought into how to package everything to make sure it holds up well. They even waited to plate my rice until I actually showed up to pick up the order so everything was still super hot and fresh by the time I got home. This is definitely one of my lazy night order out dinner go-tos.

Randomly find this place turn on to be a great experience .For lunch I ordered the grill mackerel and it was outstanding I would highly recommended this dish when u came here , the fish skin was crispy , the meat was tender and moist and it serve with alot of free side dish like most of korean restaurants .Unlike most teriyaki place faking grill this restaurant actually grilled their fish and I truly enjoyed that . Also like their seft serve station that offer free hot tea . The restaurant is a little bit small and they had only a shared restroom so that a minus point but overall still a place I would came back for sure .

Everything about this place is amazing. I've never had a bad experience here and the food is always so good.

Unfortunately they were out of the Kimchi Jjigae which was the reason we wanted to try it out in the first place. The rest of the food was pretty under seasoned and lacked flavor all around. The kimchi was flavorless and had zero funk or bite to it like I would expect from traditional kimchi. It just tasted like wilted cabbage with no fermentation. The tables are small, old and the inside is not very clean. The food came pretty fast, but considering there is only 6 tables, I would hope that the food would be quick. Overall I wouldn’t eat there again due to the overall flavor being lackluster and the kimchi being flavorless when their name is Kimchi House.

Amazing authentic korean dishes! We ordered a lot of food and enjoyed every one of them. The standout items were the kalbi, beef bulgogi, and kimchi soodubu (and of course, their kimchi and banchan). Moreover, they offer incredible value for the portions they serve. To compensate for their value, please do not expect tableside service or incredible decor. Just delicious food.

Small counter-order restaurant with few seating options, but delicious and generous portions. I'd advise coming with a small party (4 or fewer) to be able to catch a table as guests finish. We were always able to get a table after sitting at the 2-seater bar for a few minutes. The cashier is the only front of house staff, but is super nice and helpful and somehow able to do it all.
