Burrito was reasonable at under $10. I ordered the Asada Burrito. It was okay. Meat was very under seasoned, but there was a lot of it, so that was a plus. I would give it another go for sure.

Every single thing we got was incredible. Love this place.

Nothing to special for a dining area, but the food is fast and decent. The king burrito is a great deal and really packed with everything. Tacos leave something to be desired, just tacos, not awesome tacos, but they are tacos, so no matter what I'll eat them.

My go to place for a Chile relleno burrito. Definitely isn’t fine dining but for the price point you get real quality food with friendly service. It’s also great for a hangover

I recently visited king burrito in Portland, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The burritos were absolutely delicious, packed with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. I tried the carne asada burrito, and it was perfectly cooked with a great balance of meat, beans, rice, and veggies. The salsa had just the right amount of kick, and the guacamole was creamy and flavorful. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Plus, the portion sizes were generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. Overall, I highly recommend ] if you're looking for a fantastic burrito in Portland. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

The value on their food is 10/10. Extremely grateful for their prices. The hot sauce is phenomenal. Great fresh flavor on the king burrito. 8/10 for me!

I LOVE this place! They have some of the best burritos I’ve ever had north of the border. The prices are very reasonable, the people are nice, the meat is top quality, and the vibes are immaculate. I always get the burrito Al Pastor + a couple sides of the red sauce.

King is one of Portland’s best and most reasonably priced Mexican restaurants. I live in Hillsdale now, and I will still make the trek to NE Portland for this gem of a restaurant. I usually buy two burritos and eat them over a few days, and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu (including the fries/asada fries). Great staff, very professional. Every Portlander who enjoys great, reasonably priced Mexican food should be a regular here (or at least come give it a try).

There's really nothing else to say about this place other than if you like Mexican food, this is the place to be. Park out back.

Really great food at relatively decent prices. Wide menu selection including alternative choices as well for picky children. Highly recommended for that authentic Mexican food craving!

Best carne asada burrito in the area. Meat is flavorful and plentiful and well balanced with the pico/guac/bean. Definitely eat when fresh and have enough of the green sauce to tie the flavors together.

Found a metal wire in my burrito. It's like the one that is at the core of a bread bag tie. It probably came from a wire brush they use for scrubbing down the blacktop. Without the wire the burrito would be in the 2-3 star range. Super oily (not in a good way trust me). Bland refried beans. The carnitas had slabs of unrendered fat and no crisp. The Pico de Gallo was low on tomato and large on the onion's dice. The horchata wasn't bad. It was a little thin/watery for my taste though. I like my horchata to have a whole milk like texture and this was closer to the runoff you get from washing your rice before cooking. Service was fine. For context I took my burrito to go so I don't know how they would react to my conplaint regarding the metal wire. The vibe is a basic Mexican joint. Mid as hell, nothing to write home about, doesn't have the charm of a good hole in the wall. Needless to say I ain't coming back.

It was a tad expensive but mad up in portion size (1 burrito is easily sharable) Tacos were $3.75 but big (2 is enough). Meat was different then most Carne Asada, wet almost.

I ordered a hoe burrito with guacamole and they gave me a burrito full of pure meat, no guacamole, just a pinch of picó de gallo and that's it. I asked for a carne azada burrito with guacamole and got a burrito with nothing but meat, what was seamed to be shredded meat not asada meat and there was no guacamole perhaps a spoon of Pico de gallo. I was disappointed.

The taco salad was disgusting!! Dry chicken no taco boat .. some dry nasty chips !!the counter guy was dumb . Wasn’t helpful at all.. the place was dirty!!

Best burrito in town! No question! We always get a carnitas burrito and a chile relleno burrito. They are full and big (I always split mine into two meals) and delicious. Reasonably priced. Service is generally very fast but they do get busy. Good breakfast burritos too, just wish they opened earlier in the morning.

Everytime I go there it's always been good, food and service is always top notch. I've been going their for years. Only complaint I have is that the salsa isn't spicy at all.

Amazing food and great service. We ordered chili cheese fries and cheeseburgers with cokes. The fries remind me of the ones I had growing up. The sauce has a slight kick to it too which makes it extra tasty for me. Burgers were fabulous very basic but so well made. ONLY complaint is the parking. There may be parking in the back because I saw people coming and going from a back door but it was late and I didn't feel safe parking back there so I had to hunt for street parking. The food was delicious. Must try if you're in the St. John's area.

Prices are still good considering they went up recently. Try the chili-cheese burger. It’s their secret weapon. One of my favorite taqueria’s in town.

Been coming here for about a decade now. I always go with the King Burrito which has a chilled Ellen inside or the burrito. Definitely will fill you up and keep you full for quite a while. Good Horchata too!

If you're following the GPS it'd probably take you to a parking lot. You'd need to enter from the back. An inexpensive yet delicious burrito. Not really sure what more to say. Haven't seen a burrito priced at this amount since pre pandemic in the Beaverton area.

One of the "Must-Go" places to eat while in Portland. Their many awards speak for themselves but I like to let their food speak for them ;)

Good, cheap food and generous portions. We always spend less than $25 for 3 of us, drinks included, and are stuffed. Tried my first cabeza and lengua there and loved it. And they have never once gotten our order wrong.

Mushy. Unforgivably mushy. The Chorizo Burrito add avocado should be served in a soup bowl, not a tortilla.

This has became a mando spot I go to anytime I’m in the Portland, OR area. If you’re looking for perfect street tacos, this is it. I highly recommend the carnitas and/or Al Pastor tacos. The pork’s fall off the bone texture melts in your mouth with the crispy edges seared to perfection. Spice fiends will love the Al Pastor as well, with a perfect amount of zing. Not too light and not too heavy. HIGHLY recommend!

Best burritos in North Portland, possibly the whole city.

As lots of people have pointed out: It's a hole in the wall kind of place... Clean, but unlikely to impress a date. A pretty large menu. Quite fast, we had some other people waiting when we got there, but they got our order done within only a few minutes. Prices are noticeably low. The machaca burritos were quite tasty. Not something one sees on every Mexican place's menu. Good "roast beef" kind of flavor. The veggie quesadilla was very hearty, more like a meal item than the normal appetizer. The bean and cheese (burrito?) was a hit with my spouse. I get the feeling one should specifically mention vegetarian even on the "veggie lovers" section of the menu. I think the black beans are the only vegetarian beans. About the only thing that was odd was I didn't see the drinks listed on the menu. I may order one in the future, but I may have to just point at the machine and say "What flavor?" Good size parking lot in the back. Some street parking, but the lot is rarely full.

This place might seem like a rundown hole in the wall at first, but it has better food than most "fancy" restaurants can dream of. They marinate their meats for days. They make their own sauces and their prices cannot be beat. Go here. Order a burrito. Prepare for enlightenment.

Ordered a chicken fajita burrito but ended up with a pork burrito? It was still good but not what I ordered!🤷‍♂️

Perfect Northern style burrito. The staff were friendly, and timely. We got 2 Carne asada burritos for later, a Carne asada taco, taco al pastor and a taco lengua for there. The ambience of the dining room is run down bus station-esque, but clean. Not sides like limes, salsa, or other wise are presented. Ask for those items. The sodas were warm. But that's not why I went; the burritos were perfect. Their food is delicious. Their service is good. The dining room needs some work. All considered, the food is delicious so give them a go.

Great Burrito place. I'm right across from it and go at least once a week. One of the few places you can still get a giant burrito for less than $10. I often get: Breakfast burritos, lengua, pastor, cabeza, machaca, etc. I wish they made California Burritos. That's the one thing I still find myself going to other restaurants for when I have a craving for it. If they had those I'd hardly ever go anywhere else.

Local hole in the wall Mexican joint. Family owned for over 50 years, so it feels really good to support them. Inside reminds me of being in Mexico as the environment is no frills, simple, and functional. Prices are fair and it's one of the few places in PDX where you can get a solid meal for around $10. Food is made to order and quality is great. Don't skip out on this place.

Our go to for casual cheap eats, and one of, if not the, best burritos in town at this price point. The Carnitas is our fave, but every once in a while the Super with enchilada sauce also gets the call. Tacos are fab as well, and loaded with toppings. We <3 King Burrito!

Amazingly big burritos, and super delicious! I got the "oregon" breakfast burrito, which has ground beef and it was fantastic. Super good verde sauce as well.

This place has certainly earned its stripes, and then delivers a delicious product. Many loyal patrons due to their consistency and affordability. I rocked their carne asada burrito, enchilada style (melted cheese and red sauce galore) and was impressed by the spicing and quality of meat. Their salsa roja is HOT, brace yourselves for it. Their salsa verde is milder but extremely savory. My friend’s carne asada fries looked STACKED, good enough for a meal and a half. Generous portions, fair pricing, and an OG vibe as soon as you walk in. Don’t sleep on King Burrito!

Great burrito spot! The line was long about 10-12 minutes to wait. It was worth the wait though. Big meaty burritos coming out of this kitchen. Once you put in an order it didn’t take long at all for them to make it. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito. Was one of the best I’ve had in the northwest. Will definitely be coming back another day. Prices were reasonable able.👍👍

Possibly the best tacos and burritos in nopo. I really love the King burrito and the Super burrito. The KB comes with chile relleno and asada in it, and the SB is just straight up spicy ground beef. Definitely the best brick and mortar place in Portland!

I have been coming to King Burrito for years and I always feel welcome. I always get the food and drink I want. Wanted to sing today when I went in for Cinco de Mayo but husbae doesn’t like a lot of attention and I gotta respect that-but next time. *smile* Thanks for feeding my family and for a being a wonderful place to visit. Definitely a great place to eat. I had the Chimichanga and it was pretty good. The rice was good too. Not outstanding 5 stars but definitely 4 stars and will come back.

Top-notch unpretentious down-to-earth food for the common people. Monstrous portion for a faction of the cost compared to other places. 100% local recommendation.

Amazing food, prices have gone up a tad since quarantine, but well worth it. Portions are huge, horchata is the best in the areas imo. Side note: Carne asada fries are good too. Go here super often as I live nearby.

At first I was bummed that they loaded my quesadillas with beans for some reason. I was thinking they were just quesadillas with pico. There was no way I could eat this like a normal quesadilla. Then I noticed the chili releño that I ordered on the side came in a plastic container that was melted from the chili being too hot. This is now melted plastic in my food that is not edible. If it wasn’t for the carelessness; I would not have written this review.
