Went to lunch at kings teriyaki grill. I ordered the half and half chicken and beef teriyaki bowl. I thought it was ok. I didn’t love their homemade teriyaki sauce, I appreciate the effort, but I was feeling like it was more of a thick gravy than a teriyaki sauce. If I ordered again, I’d just go with the beef, I thought that was pretty tasty, but the chicken missed the spot for me. The service was amazing and quick. The restaurant was clean with enough seating for the lunch rush. My first visit was very average but I’d like to give them another try.

Old Review This Restaurant is TO GO ABLE BUT ALSO GREAT PLACE FOR LUNCH OR DINING IN. I love Teriyaki Combo Plate and burgers. There Double Cheese Burger is the one of my favorite burger in my entire burger life. When u order please do (Everything’s on it ) ALSO THEY USED TO CLOSE BECAUSE OF COVID-19 but today, they started business again. N I am currently writing this review while chugging down their burger. I absolutely love this place whenever I'm in town. Used to go here during my high school days back when they were located on orangerhorpe. Any chance I get I stop by. The food is the same as it was 20 years ago.

The rice was good the meat was still frozen inside so it was cold, Who can't make a rice bowl, I'm not going back!

The food tastes decent but the prices are high and the portions are pretty dainty. It cost $20 for mix plate which included a small heap of rice and meat. Also a small salad. I got avocado too but it still felt hungry afterwards. Was hoping for decent portion for $20. Felt like a small terriyaki bowl and a small salad.

This place is my favorite teriyaki place in OC. The food is always fresh, and the service is always great. You can tell the owner really cares about customer satisfaction. I will always stop by this place if I’m working around the area.

The food is good but when you pay almost $6 for a gardem salad and it's smaller than the kid's teriyaki bowl that is disappointing, not worth the money. It used to be a full size salad not sure what happened.

I got the double cheese with bacon and swiss. This was a very good hamburger. I was still hungry so I got some fries to go and those were very good as well. I would visit this place again to try Asian food.

What we love most is the consistency, whether it's now or 20 years ago we always received the same high quality meats, same delicious flavors, and the very best ingredients. Our go to orders are the chicken teriyaki bowls (smothered with grilled onions of course), Teriyaki burger or a combination chicken and beef plate with a yummy salad. If you are wanting something a little extra you must try their crispy fries or handmade onion rings... they are incredible. Be prepared to be greeted with a smile and enjoy this wonderful family owned business, we sure do!

When I first walk into this store right off the bat I noticed how clean it smelled and felt in there. Next I notice how good the food looked then immediately enjoyed every bite of food. Was not my last time visiting this establishment, great quality chicken bowl.

The teriyaki beef chicken was very good and there is quite a bit on the plate. Service was wonderful. It is a very clean place.

I had the combo mix plate it was awesome. Salad had water under dry toss a little bit longer. Customer service was grade A. Thank you.

This place is awesome! I tried the chicken and beef teriyaki combo plate and the portions were so hearty I was eating it for two days. The teriyaki sauce is so good and the quality of the meat was great. I am definitely going to make this place a regular stop for lunch during the work week!

I had the teriyaki combo plate and my wife has the cheeseburger with onion rings. Both were great and we'd order the same again, but I'll be back for the salmon bowl 😋 Service was very friendly and food was brought to our table. We dined inside.

Tasty! First time here...got a chicken teriyaki bowl that had rice, vegetables,and onions. I added pineapple for a $1. Worth the $9.

They have great service. The servers were helpful. Ordered a burger combo. Really liked the burger. Cheese was melted through, lettuce was crunchy and the burger wasnt just the right amount of sauce. The accompanying fries were delicious. Right kind if crunchy and salted.

King's is great. I've been going here for 5 years. The actual food quality is so deceptively good. You wouldn't expect it from a small operation like this, but it really is top notch. I maintain that they offer the best onion rings I've ever had, every time I try them my feelings are reaffirmed. On top of that though, the staff is so friendly and polite, I still get surprised by it. They always engage with you and even the teenage staff (which I always expect to be like "meh") seem to enjoy being there, they must be trained well. I love going here.

Not bad at all. I feel like it could be a little cheaper for the kind of food you get. The chicken combo plate is about $11. The food was good for sure but it was just regular chicken teriyaki and a simple salad. As far as taste goes, I enjoyed it ok, but I just don't see what would make me decide to eat here over somewhere else where I can get a cheaper lunch. I was going to give this place a 3 star because it's average, which is fine. But while I was waiting for my order, the cook noticed I had been waiting a while and explained that had to start a new batch of chicken, which is why it was taking so long. I didn't really care, but he apologized and offered me a free drink for my troubles. Mistakes happen and that's fine, but acknowledging them and just making an effort to correct them is called character. A little goes a long way, so an extra star it is for this place hiring a kind staff. Kudos.

For a protein bowl place that also has burgers and fries, I feel King's Teriyaki delivers. I usually get the salmon bowl, and while the price is higher than the generic beef or chicken bowls, the fish portion is generous and the meat is properly cooked through. The Teriyaki sauce is nice for flavor and thickness . Burgers are straight up fine. Bowls can have brown or white rice, plus veggies, green onions, and my fave, grilled onions. The veggies are reasonable, i.e. NOT 95% cabbage and a solitary see-through piece of carrot. If you want that plus cheap fatty beef, go find a Flame Broiler...

Another storefront eatery and hidden gem in the Placentia area. Clean and reasonably priced. I've taken to getting my burgers here rather than Carl's down the street. Bigger, juicier, tastier and you can taste the grilling. Plus competitively priced. Great teriyaki bowls with plenty of choices (what they are known for). Polite and efficient service is always included.

If you're craving Teriyaki this is the place to go. They have the traditional Teriyaki and then they also have Teriyaki tacos. The service was quick and the store was clean.
