Excellent cocktails. The sipping cream was so delicious and way too easy to drink! Very nice vibes. Location is a bit hidden, but works for the vibe. My only complaint… the bartender was pretty bad. He got our entire first order wrong. Each of us got a different cocktail than ordered. Worked out that they were all good

Not only is this a one-of-a-kind experience for those visiting Hawaii, the location being in an industrial park really adds to the unique charm of this distillery. There's tons of signature cocktails and flights for different types of liquors, you NEED to stop in! They also have bubble packs that you can purchase for those who are flying and really want to secure their bottles.

Chocolate vodka and Pineapple moonshine are a must!

The head distiller giving the tour was great. She answered all of our questions and was very personable. We went on a Monday and it was just the two of us. The tasting portion was great. We did the tour with a bottle and T-shirt. Well worth it. The cocktails we purchased were great as well!

Ko’olau distillery is an awesome place to learn about the distillation of several different spirits. I’m partial to whiskey but their Gins are great, especially the aged Gin, and their moonshine is one of the commercially available moonshines around. During the tour we were able to try the Distillate that is initially produced in the process which nearly burnt my taste buds off my tongue. Overall a great experience! 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

The pineapple sipping cream was amazing! The staff was so laidback and very easy to speak with! You can tell they all love what they do. The distillery tour was a great experience, especially getting to help with the bottling process!

Came across this lovely little distillery tucked away in Kailua while attending a birthday party around the corner. It's founded and run by military which is a huge plus in my book as a fellow military spouse. The bartenders are super sweet, extremely knowledgeable and are filled with so much aloha. I ordered a Ube-Bae and it was deep purple and delicious. They had a few little snack baggies if you wanted to pair those with your drinks. The merch was pretty cool if you'd like a hat, tee or some other items to add to your souvenir collection. Will definitely be back for another round or flight in the near future.

Completely off the path but worth the drive to the distillary. Had a small tasting and ended up with the whisky in an Manhattan. A must go if you are a fan of whisky or gin. The drive through the mountains is beautiful!

THE whiskey and gin distillery on Oahu, quietly settled among picturesque hills. You don't have to do the tour, but a flight might help: moonshine, whiskey, and two gins. Not a big fan of the whiskey (woodsy but young), but enjoyed the others. They also have local beer and snacks, plus plenty of gift sets/ideas. Veteran business of the year, with artwork from another popular local veteran.

Smoothest whiskey you'll ever taste.

What a killer spot in the middle of nowhere. This little area is blowing up and this distillery is at the heart of it. The vodka here is house-made and unreal. I’m a big Tito’s guy and it puts Tito’s to shame. The environment is super chill, they have comfortable seating with a few TVs for sports as well. The employees were very helpful and great with the kiddos. I’m a big fan of any place that supports our military. Not only does that show with their decorations but I was told both owners were prior military as well. Y’all nailed this spot!

Great place to stop and grab a craft cocktail ! Don’t be fooled when you drive back . The inside is cozy and fun ! Mia makes a killer bees knees. Try the aged gin and barrel aged whiskey.

We traveled from Australia and did the distillery tour. It was absolutely great, our guide was amazing and was so passionate about what he did. Such a wonderful experience and it was so nice to be able to support a local business that is also giving back to the community. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Oahu!

Having lived in Kentucky the last few years I’ve been to many distilleries. This one was by far one of the most fun, informative and … did I say fun?! The staff is amazing and Chico did an amazing tour. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Didn't do the tour. Just stopped in ad hoc. Cool place in a small industrial area. They had just finished distilling a new lavender gin and we were the first to taste it!! They have a happy hour with some featured cocktails. Perfect. Highly recommended!!

Really enjoyed our tour of Koolau Distillery. I highly recommend it. Our guide Justin was entertaining, informative, and really did a great job of interacting with each of us. He obviously loves sharing his knowledge and experience with others. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was a foodtruck and live entertainment being set up for that evening. Check it out for a unique island experience.

I took an afternoon distillery tour at Ko'olau. Olivia did an amazing job telling us all about the brewing (including answering all of my many questions!) and packaging process at the distillery. We were able to have a taste of all their main spirits and enjoy the food truck and bar after the event. I would gladly go again just to spend an afternoon at the bar and would recommend the tour for anyone visiting and interested in the distilling process.

I had so much fun today! The tour was interesting, I learned how distillery for Whiskey and Gin works and loved that I got to bottle my own Gin. Super!

I have been to the tour three times since the distillery opened and watched the business grow. It is a wonderful gem of a business and the facilities keep getting nicer. But the tours are getting worse. There are two things that could make the experience better: 1) have the tours given by someone who is experienced and enthusiastic about the business (let the distiller focus on that work) - the sense I got this last time was that delivering the tours is a chore and pretty boring for the staff; 2) focus on what is uniquely Hawaiian - what makes doing this in Hawaii special? what is the importance of the location? the name of the whiskey?

Touring the distillery and tasting whiskey was fun before the changes, but the upgrade of the tasting room into a full lounge and bar takes things to a whole other level! Oh yeah...the whiskeys and gins are phenomenal too! Eric, Ian and the team continue to provide a great product and be great partners with the community. Whether you live here on Oahu or are visiting, don't pass up an opportunity to take a tour or just drop in. It's worth it!

Small craft and very personal distillery that keeps getting better. Check out their new space and of course fill and label your own bottle of unique whiskey. Vet owned and operated. You’ll find some products nowhere else.

Excellent whiskey. I tried the distillery tour with the GoCity Pass and I recommend to plan accordingly as it is over a 30min drive to and from Waikiki.

I thought it was great! The staff were all very friendly and the master distiller (I wish I could remember her name) made the tour very interesting. The only downside was the actual room was a little hard to find and parking wasn’t great. It wasn’t a particularly scenic spot, but hey…it’s still Hawaii! The story of how it came to be a distillery/business is a good one. I won’t spoil it though. Go see them!

Wonderful place. The tasting was good, but it would be nice if they updated their website to indicate they are no longer doing a free tasting with the purchase of a beer. Prepare to pay $15 for the flight of 4 tasting options, which isn’t a bad price. Would suggest giving a proper shot, ie. a full shot glass vs less than half the shot glass; maybe crackers or pretzels to enhance the experience. All in all a good establishment I would revisit, especially for cocktails during the days offered.(Update this on the website)

Great tour and they just opened an awesome tasting room! Tour includes lots of great info, tasting, and the opportunity to bottle your own whiskey.

Just stopped in for a quick look. Very welcoming staff. They have a tour to go on but we didn't book ahead and they would be closing soon. After a couple of samples, my wife has changed our plans and we will be returning during the day to go on a tour. They have shirts, hats and other things to purchase as well as some neat tables to sit back and enjoy a drink.

If you're into science, nerdy stuff and whiskey - definitely check out this tour. Shout out to Olivia (the master distiller) who was a great presenter and who had this chill and witty vibe going on which made the tour super fun. We learn a lot about whiskey and the process to make it. The whiskey was delicious; they even have a whiskey chocolate which is so good. Secretly hoping they come out with a whiskey gelato/ice cream.
