I am Italian Ukrainian polish and black. My great-grandmother God bless her soul is Polish and the first time I went to this spot they looked at me like I had four heads. I ordered all the greatest hits remembering going out with my mom to polish and Ukrainian and Russian churches where all the food came from old fashioned back from the country cooking. The second time I showed up I felt very much welcomed. This is now my go-to Polish restaurant to remember my great grandmother's great food.

We are Polish and my wife is a great cook so we know food. There were seven of us and all the food was great. The mushroom soup really impressed my wife. I told her she has to get a job there and steal the receipt. Well worth the trip if you appreciate good food.

It's a hall for hire turned into an all Polish food restaurant. The staff speaks Polish & English, menus in both languages, strictly Polish foods only, except for Hungarian pancakes. Small Parking lot, try to park on street, doesn't always have full menu.

I had lunch here today. The food was fantastic and plentiful. I got the Polish plate which had a little of everything. I think I took half of it home. The white borscht soup was really good. Parking is a bit of an issue but parked on a side street. Recommend if you want authentic Polish food.

Our first time in Wallington, NJ. Very clean restaurant and friendly service. Service was quick and the food was excellent. We had the Polish platter and an order of sauerkraut pierogi. Also 2 bowls of Zurek. The Zurek was delicious filled with kielbasa and egg. The platter consisted of pierogi. kielbasa. Stuffed cabbage and potato pancake and Bigos. There was so much we had to take it home. The potato pancakes we’re crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We loved it.

Awful. Went to celebrate with family and friends…evening was beyond disappointing. Multiple dinner choices were sold out and no longer available (even though we were there at 6:30 pm); ordered food as they still apparently had a lot of other appealing entrees; then waited. We waited until just before 8pm and still no food. We tried after about an hour to order an appetizer thinking that would at least get something on the table. Waitress received order, no difference …still no food. After about 90 minutes, we gave up and left. Most tables had customers, but the restaurant was not packed full. I would think, if I were someone reading this review, that maybe we were loud (we were not), we were argumentative (we were not), we were rude (we were not), or we were demanding (we were not). We just were a group of adults looking to celebrate with Polish food before the holidays (my wife is Polish), and politely asked 2-3 times the waitress for an update on the food (she repeated that it was still being prepared in the kitchen). Obviously we will not be going back, but it was so surprising to just be so ignored (as we saw other tables that came after us being served), and to not be served for no apparent reason. I normally choose to not write negative reviews, but this was truly incredible…in such a bad way. I would highly recommend NOT going to this restaurant.

The food is excellent- always very fresh and clean. We enjoy it every time. We love the pierogis and stuffed cabbage. The soups are excellent as well.

Amazing food. I haven't had pierogi's that good in over 20 years - I got 1/2 sauerkraut and 1/2 potato - delicious fillings. Let me start by saying I cannot overstate how good the food was. Some friends from my community college recently came to visit me from out of state, and seeing that one of them came from Poland originally, we decided to go out for Polish food. Krakus came highly recommended by a girl at my nail salon, so we drove over from Little Falls. All I can say is WOW! The food here is AMAZING! We started with the cheese blintzes and I was floored. I could not believe how good they were. We also got two sets of pierogies — one strawberry and one potato. I couldn’t tell you which was better; they were both incredible. We got some kind of cucumber salad too, I forget what it was called, but it was delicious on top of a little bit of the savory pierogi. Our waitress took our order of tomato and Zurek soups, pierogie, Polish sampler, and Hungarian goulash. The soups were served hot large bowls. Both were rich in taste. Next came the pierogi. A dozen pierogie of 6 potato and cheese and six sauerkraut and mushroom with sauteed bacon. Next came the Polish sampler consisting of, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa, hunter stew/bigos, pierogie, potato pancakes. It was served with plenty of sour cream and apple sauce. Try adding sugar to them for a tasty variation. The potato pancakes were crispy and thin for another delicious treat. The potato pancakes were fried but, not oily or greasy just right. This plate is more than enough for two had we known we would not order the other dish. Now the Hungarian goulash was served with perfect curbed beef in a sauce between two potato pancakes like a sandwich. You get two sandwiches. I thought the beef was overcooked because of the small pieces of beef. I would recommend a larger pieces of beef. Prices were reasonable and service was attentive and courteous. There is street parking and they do have a private parking lot. It's worth a trip. Oh and yes, they have a liquor license with a large selection of Polish beers. Had a dinner celebration for 15 people. The meals tasted like homemade. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I would recommend this restaurant for authentic Polish food. Also, the people that work there are honest. I left a $100 deposit prior to the day of dinner celebration and forgot about it the day of the dinner. The chef/owner called me back that same night letting me know that the $100 was not deducted on bill and to come back anytime to get the $100. My friend took me here and raved about how good the polish food was and that they give alot of food for the money .The place is old school when you walk in. It probably looks the same inside as it does years ago as far as the decor of the inside of the restaurant but do not let that distract you . This is a family business and the food is like sitting in a Polish families home and being catered too . The waitress was so attentive and sweet . She did everything to make sure we had everything we needed and than more . She even gave me a piece of cake for my birthday that was 3 days prior. They sang happy birthday to me . I thought it was so nice for her to do that especially since it was not the actual day of my birthday. The food was very good I enjoyed the sausage kalbasie and the periogees the most . The stuffed cabbage was also very good . My favorite were the potato pancakes . If you like polish food or you never tried it I would advise to come here for a home cooked Polish hearty meal . You will not be disappointed.
