The steak was amazing, the staff were amazing and our time in the Chophouse was amazing!

Food is absolutely delicious, but the service is terrible. TERRIBLE.

When we arrived the gentleman at the door didn’t want to let us in because we didn’t have a reservation. We explained that we were going to the bar. He said…”Bars full”. Most people would’ve walked away which is probably what he wanted but I said “can we go get a drink??” He reluctantly let us and we got two seats at the bar instantly and had a great and quick dinner before our concert. Honestly though…horrible personalities at that restaurant. They make you feel like a stranger

Phenomenal calamari. Great pork chop. Really good bread pudding. Great cocktail in the Bordeaux Old Fashioned. Excellent service.

The food down to the service was 10/10 would recommend! This is the best vegan fine dining I’ve ever experienced in this area. The service was TOP TIER! Our server ensured that we were good by constantly refilling our waters and inquiring if we wanted to try anything else. I have recommended this location to all my friends and would visit again. The icing on the cake was the manager coming to visit our table to do an introduction. I thought that was super professional and kind of him. Kres Chophouse has made their mark.

8/26 6pm. As an executive chef and restaurant owner I am very critical of food. I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The ribeye was tender and flavorful. The filet mignon was melt in your mouth. Service by Justin was absolutely outstanding. He made our ten year anniversary memorable. We will return. Thank you

If I could leave no stars I would, ate dinner here just to finish eating and only had Apple Pay for payment they emphasized that they didn’t accept Apple Pay so the manager John so he would go figure something out so while waiting for him to “figure something out” the police arrived because he called them because he said we were black minors and he thought we were trying to run out on a $100 tab so never will I eat here again and wouldn’t recommend if your not of color

This is a must-visit for steak lovers. The excellent food, juicy and tender, and a great ambiance makes it so good. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a memorable dining experience.

The food and service was amazing. The duck fish and steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. The lavender drink was great as well.

Who would have thought a Steak Resteraunt has a Vegan Menu!

Came in here for dinner and the food is amazing as always, but I’m leaving a one star review because the service from the bartenders were less than phenomenal aside from Chris who was very friendly and attentive. Aubrey however, charged us for drinks that we didn’t even have and when we realized it, she made a weird face and said “I can take your drink off.. just let me know what you want to do..” but she sounded annoyed and didn’t really seem like she genuinely wanted to do that. I get mistakes happen but instead of apologizing for her mistake or taking accountability she had sort of an attitude about it. It was kind of unprofessional and not expected of a steakhouse or “upscale fine dining” for that matter and very off putting to say the least.

The food is delicious, my waitress was friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. My husband does not eat meat so I love that they have a vegan menu which has a nice selection to choose from. The Vegan chef actually came out to introduce herself which was so nice of her. Me and hubby had the vegan crab cakes for the appetizer, for the entree he had the vegan beef Wellington. By far the best vegan beef Wellington he’s ever had, I took a couple bites out of his Wellington and couldn’t believe how delicious it was, every bite just got better and better. I had the roasted chicken which was so tender and juicy and packed with flavor . Overall a great experience, I will definitely be back.

The food was delicious! I got the filet mignon and my husband got the filet Wellington. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and tender as well as the Wellington. The server we had unfortunately was not up to the high standards of the food. And also the decor of the restaurant itself is a bit out dated and all over the place

I recently ate at Kres Steakhouse in Orlando and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent—steaks cooked perfectly—and the prices were reasonable for an upscale place. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

We went for a birthday dinner and we were blown away.. our expectations were high and they were met. Santiago was our server and he took really good care of us, he answered our questions and guided us through the menu. He made sure our cup of wine was never empty, and that our table was always clean. The food was amazing, and everything was cooked to perfection. 10/10 experience!!

We both ordered the Filet Wellington, my wife’s fav dish. She says she has never had better! Server John was polite, prompt and knowledgeable. We shared the Bread Pudding for desert….excellent. We will be back.

Had the opportunity to dine there for the first time last night and our experience was top notch! We were welcomed by friendly faces from the moment we walked in until when we left the house. Our server was extremely friendly and polite, she really knew how to read the table, set the proper expectations and make outstanding recommendations from drinks to the main course – all based on what we mentioned that we enjoyed instead of simply recommending items just to recommend, know what I mean? The ambiance stands out as this restaurant sits in a great location in Downtown Orlando inside a historical building. The place screams elegance from the minute you walk in! Valet is available and so are parking garages just around the block. Cocktails: Their cocktails were outstanding! Fresh fruits and mixes made in house with natural ingredients and top shelf alcohol for greater enjoyment – really made a difference! Our table ordered four different types and these cocktails all took us different places…quite an experience is what I can tell you! The winners were the Basil Fresca and the Lolita, GO FOR IT! We also tasted a world-class Champagne, the Laherte Frères Blanc de Blanc Brut! Magnificent bubbly champagne to accompany the appetizers before switching to the red wine. For the red wine we tasted a Benegas Malbec 2019 from Mendoza, Argentina. Rich, full bodied, persistent and delicious – screamed for a juicy piece of steak to pair, which I did. The house has an extensive wine list for all palates, so I strongly recommend you take your time looking at the wine list while tasting a glass of bubbly or a cocktail like we did. Appetizers: They were delicious and just the proper servings. We went for the Escargot de Bourgogne, the Grilled Pesfasa (Octopus with Shrimp) and the Copps Island (Oysters Rockerfeller). The Escargot de Bourgogne was like a party of elegant and unique flavors all at once and definitely the winner for me! The others were delicious as well. The bread and melted butter with the Oysters Rockerfeller was like the creamiest and happiest experience you can think of. Entree: THE NEW YORK STRIP, medium. I can still taste it! This was an outstanding 16oz Prime Steak AGED IN HOUSE and beautifully cooked…Prime means that you are getting the best grade of beef available by the way. I combined it with a side of Parmesan Mashed Potatoes and Crispy Brussel Sprouts! The way they do their sides is very interesting, as you get a larger portion which is made to be shared with the table, very clever way so everyone gets to experience and try something new. Two sides were enough for four guests. My wife went with the 12oz Filet Mignon (Barrel Cut). The barrel cut means that you are getting the most uniform part of the whole tenderloin, in simple terms, the best of the best! Her steak melted like butter! Of course I stole a piece ; ) You can order these steaks medium rare or medium and not worry about blood baths on your plate…these guys know their stuff and there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to prep a proper steak the way they do. That’s the result you get for dining at a high end restaurant my friends! Deserts: The Italian Cheesecake with expresso infused (yes, coffee) with an Oreo Crust and Chocolate sauce – completely different than any other cheesecake I’ve ever had and certainly boosted me up after a delicious meal as you tend to wine down. The cheesecake can be shared as you get a pretty large piece. Crème Burlee was also outstanding and my wife had no issues finishing it on her own. Our friends shared the White Chocolate Bread Pudding , which seems to be a house favorite and quite a remarkable one due to its presentation and taste. This establishment also offers a wide range of vegan dishes too, so keep that in mind if vegan suits you! I hope your experience is as enjoyable as ours! Cheers and Bon appétit!

The Filet Wellington was flawless!

This was my first time in a place like this. It was great, beautiful atmosphere and great customer service. The food was second to none. Definitely will be back

We decided to try Kres Chophouse, because it was conveniently located in downtown. We started with a round of mixed drinks off the drink menu, and they were fantastic. We got the shrimp and octopus as an appetizer, and it was done perfectly and we enjoyed it a lot. My guest ordered the scallops, which were exquisite. I chose the pork chop (prepared medium)/pork belly which was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend eating here. I enjoyed everything about my experience, including the server, who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

I had a fantastic experience here about a year ago, was temporarily nearby for work but didn't have time to stop in. Not to mention I was in work attire and not appropriate for the venue. I don't understand why they do not do takeout. I was told I would have to come sit at the bar and wait to do a pickup order. Disappointed to not be able to take home this dinner to my wife. She did not get to go on the previous visit.

There is truly nothing bad to say about this place, what a remarkable dining experience. Service is top tier from beginning to end. I decided to try the Vegan Pre Fixe 3 Course menu and that was the right choice. Every step of the way I was blown away. “Oyster” Rockefeller was incredible and the “Salisbury Steak” was uniquely close to the real deal. Finishing off with some “Ice Cream Cream Sundae” that could of passed off as not vegan. Drink menu offered some great choices and I went with the “Plant City Spritz” to fit the theme. Overall I recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting or is in town. Definitely would come back.

Visit here every few months and the experience has been incredible every time. Staff is always professional and knowledgeable, food is always above standard and the bar knows how to make some good tasting drinks

Was on a family vacation and decided to try this restaurant after reading rave reviews. We were not disappointed and found a restaurant that we will go to every time we visit Orlando. The service was excellent and they were even able to easily accommodate my daughter’s numerous food allergies. The waitress and chef were absolutely fantastic. Not only that, the food was amazing and the steaks were quite possibly the best steaks we have ever tasted anywhere. If you are in Orlando and are in the mood for a good steakhouse, you definitely need to give this place a try.

Their steak is amazing so depending on the kind of cut you like, you won’t be disappointed! I hear the oysters are great too. Steak Tartar was good as well. Amazing service, outstanding food with well advised wine pairing. The filet was so good it was an experience unto itself. Also in the 15 years I've been coming here, I've never tried the calamari vesuvio, but we did this time and it was mind blowing! Best calamari I've had, and the first time I've ever experienced the "steaks" not just the heads and rings... Amazing! Fair warning, it's easy to over order here. The steaks are so filling that is hard to leave room for the side dishes! Totally worth it though!

TLDR; Killer experience. Stellar food, great service, romantic atmosphere. Took a quick Uber here after a soccer game not far away, made a reservation via Open Table quickly. Kres hit high marks in every category. Prices were fair. Service was excellent, we were checked on plenty with a visit from the manager. Wagyu carpaccio was an awesome start. I had the Wellington, which was phenomenal. My pictures don't do it justice. We also had the lamb which was the star of the show. Sides and dessert were all just wonderful. Dark lighting and nice decor added to the smooth ambience. 10/10 will be returning.

Came here with my wife and two young children and was blown away by the service and the food. The waitress was extremely attentive to my daughter’s allergies and brought them to the attention of the chef who was fantastic with making a meal specially for her which included a delicious allergy free chocolate chip cookie for dessert. The steaks that me and my wife ordered, ribeyes, were cooked to perfection and some of the most flavorful steaks we have ever tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Orlando area. Their vegan menu is beautiful. Service is upscale, as is the ambiance. The faux crab cake, delectible AF. The Wellington, the reviews did not lie. And the brookie with salted caramel gelato, OMG. The Passion & spice cocktail 💕🌶️And. The Omni husband loved his meal too!! Perfect date night.

This is probably the best restaurant I have ever visited. The service and the food were impeccable! The drinks were worth the price and they were strong. We had the wagyu carpaccio as our appetizer and it was very tasty. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were well prepared. When I return to Orlando, I will definitely pay this restaurant another visit.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Orlando. Whenever we come to town, we make it a point to get a meal here. The traffic near the restaurant was crazy because there were two concerts nearby that evening. The entrance to the parking garage we usually use was closed. We drove around the block to get into our secondary parking garage. Since the traffic was crawling, I called the restaurant to tell them our situation. They told me that they validated parking if we gave our phone number. This was the first time we ever heard this. This will make the experience so much better the next time we dine here. We had a slight wait for a table. There was a table in one of the front window alcoves that we were eyeing. To our surprise, we were able to get seated at that table which fulfilled our desire to have a private table. Our server, John, was one of the best. He made many recommendations which helped us pick the right items for our meal. We started with a Mai Tai and Orange Smash. I really enjoyed the Orange Smash. The two of us shared a Spinach Salad while enjoying the hot bread with their custom oil and seasoning dip. The NY Steak au Poivre with Grilled Shrimp and Seafood Misto hit the spot. The steak came with corn risotto, broccolini, and mushroom demi-glaze. The Seafood Misto consisted of Salmon, PEI Mussels, Shrimp, Bucatini, Gremolata, and Saffron Fume. Our favorite part of eating at Kres is the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. It is one of the best bread puddings we have ever tasted. It looks like an oversized muffin with whiskey and caramel sauces and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

My husband and I have come here the last few years for our birthdays, and it never disappoints. He follows a vegan diet and I'll try anything, so this is a perfect place for the both of us! The Beef wellington is my favorite, and the vegan menu is outstanding. The service has always been perfect, and the atmosphere is elegant, yet comfortable.

Worst restaurant…I did reservation 1 month ago they reminded me for parking garage and the timing but never got email that we have to be in dress code…You guys need to let the guest know before they drive 1 hour and pay $ 15 for parking garage never will be back

Outstanding. I'm vegan, but I frequently travel with coworkers and it's often a challenge to find a place that can accomodate my needs while still satisfying the wants of my coworkers. Kres has all your standard steakhouse fare done extremely well, but what makes them unique is the extensive vegan section of the menu. I've been to high end exclusively vegan restaurants all around the country and this tops all of them. Everyone (vegan and not) was raving about their food and the service was excellent.

If this wasnt in downtown Orlando, it would be a 5!! Food is awesome. Reservations are tough to come by but worth it.

Wow! I had the Elk and it was Absolutely Delicious! Great place for a date night or for a family gathering. I went with a friend we had drinks and dinner and ended up at the bar! The accommodated us without reservations which was so nice. They validated our parking valet. They helped us find seats at the bar afterwards. I enjoyed all The food and drinks we had. We weren’t big fans of the truffle fries other than that the filet was delicious too

First time here. Downtown location. Appears to be an old bank building? Very unique interior. Service was excellent. Appetizer (wagyu carpaccio) was wonderful. Cocktails were great. Wide variety of wine list with very reasonable options. Prime NY strip was great as was the salmon. The bread pudding dessert was the best of the night. Overall its every bit as good as the major chain places (Capital Grille, etc) but about HALF the price. Give it a try!

Went for a birthday celebration, but the host didn't make reservations. They are a must, but the bouncer at the door was able to get us a table. Our server was very accommodating and attentive. The food was really good. I had a side of the shrimp and bacon Mac n cheese and a, a side of asparagus. They were huge. I didn't finish either of them and had a second meal. My friend is vegan, so they had options. They had a dress code that I noticed quite a few didn't follow, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. Very intimate atmosphere. Nice girls/guys night or date or even solo. Be prepared to look for paid parking, and it can take a while since you're downtown.

I have lived here for just over 2 years. And this was by far the best meal that I have had. I ordered off the fully vegan menu which included. An appetizer an entre and dessert. For the appetizer, I ordered the oyster mushroom Rockefeller. They also brought us the schnitzel, and I'm so glad they did because it was the better of the two. For my entre I had the beef Willington and it was superb. I normally don't go for dessert, but the brookie with ice cream. What's so good that I ate every bite. Left there way too full. My wife had the short ribs, which apparently had just gotten on the menu tonight, and she was really pleased. She also shared my appetizers and agreed that they were very good. I had 2 glasses of wine in some port in my wife. Head to cocktails and cappuccino. The total bill before tip was 177.

Our server Justin made us feel so welcome as first time guests and elevated our experience to another level. Based on first impressions, Kres Chophouse is 100% worth your time and money if you're in the area.

Beef wellington was fantastic. I don't recommend sitting outside, street people interrupted our group several times.

One of my favorite date night places. Not many places in Orlando offer beef wellington, they make it so good. Risotto is a favorite as well. Service is usually good with one or two visits being off putting. Wait times may vary so just be sure to call ahead !

Kres Chophouse is an amazing dining experience every time we go. We are vegan, and Kres is the only upscale restaurant with a set vegan menu in the Orlando area. Their craft cocktails are talented takes on classics, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. The vegan menu has a tasty selection of appetizers, very satisfying entrees, and delightful desserts. Anytime we have a celebration dinner, Kres is our go to for a truly lovely evening from start to finish.

Keep in mind they are strict about clothing, we didnt get to eat here because my husband was asked to remove his cap, which he refused to for personal reasons, so had to leave.

I usually don't do steak at restaurants because I feel like I can cook it better 6 different ways. This is a great steak. Easily top 3 in Orlando. I'd wager money there's something in that kitchen that has open flames as well. Very tender and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the oysters Rockefeller as an app. Even if you don't like oysters. They're that good. The lobster may have been a tiny bit over cooked but still very excellent in my opinion. The filet Wellington also done traditionally and cooked to perfection. Also an amazingly eclectic vegan and vegetarian side of the menu as well. It's a little expensive but honestly you get what you pay for. Three of us, four adult beverages, two apps, three entrees and we were in the $280 range without tip. I have no regrets. So a great date night or celebration restaurant for sure. The only drawback if there were one is the parking. It's on Church so parking on Orange you're walking about a mile. If you're in the garage you also have to be careful. At 9:30p.m. it literally took us an hour to get out of the parking garage because of how backed up it was. So you may want to ride share. Will definitely be back.

We walked in without a reservation and with our infant daughter (which we were a little apprehensive about) and they got us a table and made us feel so comfortable. Service was perfect by the hosts and server (Christy). The manager John spoke with us about how they source their beef and I have to say their steak is hands down the best I’ve had thus far in Orlando (20oz aged ribeye). I prepare steaks at home multiple times a week and take it very seriously and theirs is better than mine. Better than christners (rip off) and better than Ruth’s Chris. I believe they are at a lower price point as well. Glad to know I could get a quality affordable steak outside of my home whenever I want. I will definately be returning. Thank you Kres team!

Late dinner after an event at Dr. Phillips Center. 1st Wellington for my companion, world class pork Chop for me. Our server seemed to get lost

Everything was a 10 just as the reviews stated. The only thing is we ordered a to go item and they forgot to give it to us so we are still 2 days later waiting to hear from a manager regarding the matter. We will definitely be back the food was great.

Best restaurant in downtown Orlando. A favorite of my wife and myself. Highly recommend.

Great spot! Wellington was amazing, as was every other dish we had- Lobster Arancini and Caesar Salad. Would recommend and return.

A close friend and I had dinner here prior to a nearby show. I had already heard wonderful things about this establishment but was not prepared for just how amazing it was. Our server was attentive and kind. The manager, Sarah, absolutely added to the delight of our experience. The food was impeccable and we honestly couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The calamari was next level. Our meals were created to perfection. The ambiance was unmatched to anywhere in that vicinity. Highly recommend!!!

What a disappointment! My dining experience at this restaurant was a complete joke. After sitting for what felt like an eternity, the server finally graced our table, only to forget even the basic courtesy of bringing out bread. When the food did arrive, it was disappointingly cold, leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. Seeking resolution, I spoke with the manager on duty, John, who promised to mail me a gift card as compensation for the subpar service. However, after weeks of waiting, the promised gift card never arrived. When I followed up, John denied ever making such an offer, leaving me feeling utterly frustrated and betrayed. This establishment clearly has a long way to go in terms of customer service. Avoid at all costs. Guess John has Alzheimer’s.

Love this place. Came from out of town, and had an amazing experience. Ask for Bob, he was hands down the best server I’ve encountered. Definitely going to be returning.

My wife and I were in the other night to celebrate our anniversary. 24 years. We sat outside. It was a beautiful evening and dinner at Kres made it better. Food was amazing and service was even better. A+

A top notch steakhouse in downtown Orlando. We started with escargot, which I will typically try anywhere it is being served. The escargot here was very good, served in an actual escargot dish with butter in each socket. The snails served in the butter really allows them to soak it up. I went with the tried and true 8oz fillet, which was the perfect serving for me. The sides are big enough to share between 2 people. We got the grilled asparagus and au gratin potatoes, both were excellent and prepared perfectly. For desert we went with the dark chocolate molten turtle cake and bread pudding. The chocolate cake came with this vanilla ice cream rolled in pralines which was a great complement to the cake. The bread pudding was a sweet take on the delicious bread they serve, it is very filling. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there is a nice vibe in the room. There are very high ceilings, and you can see the old architecture, which really adds to the atmosphere. This has to be my favorite feature, and one of the coolest things I have seen in a restaurant. The servers provide top notch service. They know their stuff and know how to provide excellent service that a restaurant like this deserves.

Kres Chophouse did not disappoint. Food was excellent, service was above and beyond. One of the best dinners I have ever had including service.

Definitely recommend! Great atmosphere, perfect location, 2 minute walk from parking garage, food was awesome, waiter was very attentive.
