Outstanding food. Generous portions. Nice humble atmosphere. My favorite restaurant in Ridgeland.

I have eaten here 3 or four times in the pass. Never have had an assign seat. Today we went in and it was busy. I saw an empty table so I told my husband to sit there. Gentleman in front of me placed his order preceded to get his drink. He came back and said you didn't give me a number. The guy at the register looked around restaurant instead of looking at his chart didn't see anyone sitting at table 15. I said we are sitting there. I guess the female manger came up not knowing what had happened. The guy at the register told her I assigned him 15 but she says they are sitting there. I told him I had eaten there 3 or 4 times and had never been assigned a seat. I thought the numbers on the tables were for you tell them where you were sitting. So they put us outside like we were outcast. Didnt enjoy my food because I was humiliated. So a note to the wise if you decide to eat there make sure they assign a seat to you. Never had been told that before and never felt humiliated.

The hummus was good and staff is friendly. The lamb gyro was flavorless and the chicken gyro was bland. The tomato in the gyro had more flavor than anything else, and there were two small pieces of hard bone in the lamb gyro (see pics). No char on the meat in a soft pita made every bite the same - soft texture with no flavor. We came here because of the high star reviews, but we’ll be sticking to Keifers. $39 for two lamb gyro, a kids chicken gyro (no drink included for kids meal), and a baklava. Baklava tasted like an old donuts.

Food was ok. I love hummus and theirs is pretty bland. Needs more garlic,lemon and salt. Salad needed more dressing and a little umpf. My son enjoyed his gyro/ The staff was super friendly and we enjoyed sitting outside because we were traveling and had our small dogs in the summer.

We are a Greek family, and our daughter chose to celebrate her Nameday with the family at this restaurant because she liked their fries. This was our second visit, the first had been pretty good. It’s a place with an industrial-fast-trendy food vibe décor – think Chipotle or such with touristy pictures of Greece & Evil Eye Charms for decoration. No servers. No sign that says “Please wait to be seated.” VERY crowded. Inadequate parking. There’s a LONG line to get to the counter – and because of a physical disability, I’m unable to stand in line. So, I got us a table and sat at it. When my husband and daughter were to the front of the line, and ordering – a female employee came to me and said “You have to move. We sat someone at this table.” And walked off before I could say anything. Then she and other employees glared at me from the cash register. Then a male employee came to me and told me the same thing. I told him – repeatedly – that I cannot stand. He insisted that I had to & claimed they would assign me a table only AFTER we paid. I asked where I could sit and wait for my table – he gestured to a chair at a wall-facing counter. I went and sat there. Of course, by then, my husband and daughter had ordered and were looking for me. I called to them. Then they went to get drinks, and an employee came and asked if the Calamari was ours, as I didn’t know what the family had ordered. I told her I didn’t know (even though their table assignment system should have told them where to bring our food). I asked her about the table we had been told we would be assigned. “Sorry, there aren’t any.” And walked off. We had no table to sit at, and were unable to look at each other or comfortably share food because of the cramped spot at the counter. My fries (we didn’t order them, but had to pay for them) were burnt. My veggie Gyro was a lot of iceberg lettuce with extremely excessive raw onion but barely perceptible olives and tomato. I can still taste onion several hours after the meal. I understand the Calamari was pretty good for the U.S. The Tzatziki was unrecognizable because of the excessive oil on top. And the “Krilakis” Gyro was pretty good, according to my daughter. So, yeah, probably won’t go back. Hospitality is essential to authentic Greek dining. This place left a bad taste in my mouth - literally and figuratively.

Each time we have eaten here the service has been super fast and always so delicious! It's our favorite for sure!

Highly overrated! The food was awful service good, atmosphere claustrophobic. There are better Greek restaurants in this area. Anyway the menu read like an Americanized Greek cuisine. Thus the American burger. Yuk

I’ve been here many, many times over the past 10 years and Krilakis always has wonderful Greek sandwiches and salads…..

Tzatziki sauce is perfect. The food came out hot and fresh. Great tasting. The pita is a little thin and tore as I was eating it and my wife got frustrated with hers as well. Fries were hot but very tiny pieces.

I love it and the Mozzarella cheese burger is my favorite go-to.

Simply the best Greek restaurant in central MS. SO delicious! The service is great! Sweet tea is the right amount of sweet! So many things to love about this restaurant. If I worked here I'd feel so proud to tell people I worked here. S tier restaurant without a doubt.

After my husband and I moved back from Kentucky, we had missed different foods that we had at our dispense for so many years. We searched for Greek restaurants near us and decided to try out Krilakis. Upon our overall experience, we noticed that the staff lacks friendly customer service and can use better training. The portion size was worth the total bill.

To be honest I wasn’t super impressed. They had a pretty good salad but it was chopped up lettuce which I’m not a fan of. I tried a bite of the redfish gyro and it tasted a little fishy and I immediately had to spit out a bone. The lamb gyro was pretty good but i was disappointed that all they have is tzatziki sauce and no feta sauce. My favorite part about getting greek food is probably the Feta sauce.

I was presented my check and the amount was different from what the cashier , seconds before told me it would be.I asked about the difference and the cashier told me they were giving the wrong the lower total because people were mad about the new charge for using a credit card. Spoke to the manager and he also saw no problem lying to customers about the amount of their check because a sign pushed over to the side that said their was a price increase for using a CC. The problem is the cashier telling the customer one thing and giving a check for you to pay that says something else. That’s deciteful. That’s poor customer service. That is how you lose the business of loyal customers.

This restaurant had been recommended by friends, "if we were ever in the Jackson area," so we decided to give it a try on our way back home from a recent road trip. It was amazing!!! Drew Creel, the owner, took the time to make us feel right at home and was so kind to recommend their specialty items that would give us a true Greek experience. The portions were generous and the food was absolutely awesome. They have the best Greek salad and pita bread ever and if you haven't tried their gyro special or stuffed grape leaves, you are missing out. Krilakis is my all-time favorite restaurant in the metro. Authentic Greek food in a clean, cozy, casual atmosphere. I love the outdoor seating and fountain area when the weather is nice. THE FOOD is consistently always excellent! The chicken, lamb, and beef are all cooked and seasoned to perfection! I’ve had them all at one time or another. My favorite is the chicken because it’s delicious, seasoned cubes of real chicken breast and the flavor is just totally infused into it. YUM! The hand-cut fries are my absolute favorite fries from anywhere! It just doesn’t get any better. There aren’t enough great things to say about the soft, warm pita bread that has just a perfect little crisp to the grilled part! I don’t eat tziki (sp) sauce myself, but my family would eat a bucket of it from Krilakis because the cucumber and yogurt flavor is so fresh and delicious! The hummus is seriously the best, most authentic Mediterranean hummus that I’ve ever had and it’s so easy to get addicted to it with the perfectly cooked pita wedges! Also excellent stuffed grape leaves, salads, and…olives, olives, olives. I love olives! We go for almost every birthday, anniversary, etc., and when we have guests.
