Pretty basic fare but they do Italian, Greek and American so it's my spot for a Gyro or baked Ziti. Their pizza isn't one I do a lot but it's passable and some friends don't mind it at all. Service is excellent, prices have gone up but still reasonable. Plenty of parking and never had to wait to be seated. I do like their Apple Pie and my wife likes the Baklava.

Great food try the gyro platter or the meatball sub but the meaty pizza is INCREDIBLE

I used to live in the fox chase apartments right behind la casa from 2004-2009. La casa was always my go-to. My husband and I used to go all the time before we were married. One of our faves! Today we took our kids and they loved it too. It is still so good after all this time. My husband and son got the gyro platter, my daughter got the spaghetti al forna and I got the la casa salad. All excellent! We don't live nearby anymore or would go all the time. Just as good as I remember!

Stick with the pizza and chicken kabobs. My last 2 dinners were inconsistent from prior visits. For example meat lasagna without enough sauce to cover the bland pasta. On a prior visit the food came out different from what was ordered. Perhap the evening aren't best time to have dinner.

The food here was amazing. The combination of Italian and Greek food choices was great for our family. I highly recommend the fried ravioli appetizer. We loved it so much we visited here twice on our 3 day stay in the Washington DC area.

Calamari is magnificent!!! As is the chocolate milk.

Found a cockroach n my pizza I’ve never been so disappointed I’ve been here many times and for the first time I brought my wife and kids to try the steak and cheese and the pizza I told the “manager” kid acted like I putted it on it .. got me so mad since I’ve worked in the restaurant business my whole life . their solution was to give 50% off from the item 😂😂 but it’s okay will never be back.

Love this place. Food is always amazing. Can’t go wrong with their pizza, gyros, or chicken souvlaki. Their cheesesteak is also pretty great.

I can't say enough good things about La Casa Restaurant's pizza! My family and I have enjoyed their pizza on three separate occasions, and it has consistently been the best we've ever had. It arrives piping hot, loaded with delicious toppings, and every bite is just pure yumminess. Living in the DMV area, we've tried our fair share of pizza places, but La Casa truly stands out. We live 10 min drive away and this has been our safe, go-to place when we were in the mood for just good food, decent price, and relaxing atmosphere. People who work here are super nice, and the food is always really good. Everything from gyros to seafood to pizzas always tastes amazing. Love LaCasa and so happy it exists in this town where a lot of pretentious restaurants rule. :)

The place felt very homey and the service was good. The food all had good flavor and you could tell most things were homemade. With the chicken kabab I do wish it came with a white sauce instead of marinara sauce, but overall it was good.

My absolute go-to restaurant for a lunch or dinner with friends and family. I love their laid back ambiance with locals and regulars. Staff is so friendly and attentive, Brenda is always sure to make your visit worth coming back again. I usual order a delicious Mojito, Mule, or Mimosa and am never disappointed. Salmon salad, feta appetizer, lasagna, and pizza are always the best. I eat too fast to get pictures but today I captured the lasagna!

Ordered the medium Veggie Pizza, Dolmades, and Greek Salad for 3 adults to split. All of it was delicious and we were comfortably full afterwards. *Fully* recommend their pizzas!

No flavor whatsoever. Gyro: dry, no flavor. Mousaka: dry, no flavor. Souvlaki: dry, no flavor. Tsatsiki with pita: no flavor. Baklava: wrong flavor.

As far as I know, this is the only restaurant in this area serving Greek food. There's also pizza and other Italian choices on the menu as well as daily specials. The food is always good, portions are large, and prices are reasonable.

There La Casa Salad is everything.

Pizza is amazing. Gyros are ridiculous good and the fried chicken super juicy. Not sure how they pull it off but it doesn’t matter what you order it’s always good. Plus the ladies that work there are super friendly and always welcome you with a great smile.

Just left here and ordered the chicken kabob. Ate the first piece of chicken, super rubbery and dry. Assumed it was just the first piece and went to attempt to eat a second piece, same thing, like eating rubber bands. Called up there a young lady who answered told me to bring it back for a replacement so I did, even though I was late for work! Take the meal back, she brings me the menu and I go with a simple cheeseburger. First meal was $19.97, hamburger was $10. She then comes back out the kitchen with the first rubbery chicken and tells me that THE CHEF SAID NEXT TIME TO BRING THE ENTIRE MEAL IN FOR AN EXCHANGE OR REFUND! But then says, well you can’t get a refund cause our manager is not here. My response was HOW I’M THE WORLD CAN I BRING THE ENTIRE MEAL BACK WITHOUT EATING SOME TO KNOW THAT IT’S OVER COOKED AND RUBBERY??? Maybe I should have threw the rest up in the container before bringing it back. Lost my business FOREVER, and lots of my coworkers eat here but I will spread the word around to find someplace else to spend their money for lunch! 👎🏽

Just left the restaurant and I must say that the service and food was AWESOME! We were celebrating my fiance's daughter's birthday at Cameron Run and wanted to treat everyone to pizza. We had 20 in our party and not only did they kindly accommodate us but they had our pizzas ready as we were arriving. By the time everyone sat down, all the food was on the table and ready to eat! Our servers were professional, attentive and just accommodating. They also have a nice bar which helped me and some of the other parents wind down😁

Half way through my second beer, I was asked to leave. The only explanation given was that there were complaints. I asked what the complaints were. I got no response. So I asked who made the complaints. And the lady pushed my bill towards me and asked me to leave. Then she turned and walked away. I found this quite curious, as I had spoken to no one but the bartender. I used no foul language. No inappropriate subject matter. And didn’t interact with anyone. As I looked around, I realized that I was the only black customer. So perhaps it was the color of my skin that offended. Either way, management needs a lesson on customer relations and conflict resolution. So the owner of the establishment replied and used the word “Disruptive”. Let’s define that word. Because I spoke to know one in the bar except the bartender. And I took a phone call. Exactly how can I be descriptive, sitting by myself? And even if that were the case, why had no one thought to come over a kindly ask me to take it back a notch?? And thirdly, sending a brown staff member to remove me doesn’t mean it wasn’t racially motivated. If I were a white man, would I have been asked to leave so abruptly? Doubt it.

I recently wrote a review stating this place kicked out my father, the only black man in a room full of white customers. The owner responded to review, inappropriately, stating that it’s not racist and my accusation is absurd because the manager who told him to leave is a person of color. The reason they asked him to leave is because he was being ‘loud’ and ‘disruptive’. First of all, the owner’s response is what I consider ‘gas lighting’. The owner is neglecting that someone (a customer) felt that they were wronged by the staff and the owner just made excuses for it. The important context of the situation is that, white people were complaining (and apparently leaving) because my father was being ‘loud’. The interesting thing here is that, absolutely no one asked my dad to be mindful of his volume. Someone being loud without realizing they’re being loud is not a valid reason to kick them out of an establishment. They wouldn’t even tell him why. They just made him pay and leave. My dad didn’t find out why until he wrote a review and the owner responded, gaslighting him. Something that should be understood here is that white people have a history of judging others who they do not understand. They saw a black man speaking ‘loudly’ and got uncomfortable because of THEIR racial bias. I’m confident in this because this is a sad old tale. Instead of giving him benefit of the doubt and politely asking him to keep it down, they kicked him out. He also was minding his own business, so he was disrupting no one. He only talked to bartender. To the owner, using a manager who is a person or color to kick him out doesn’t make it okay. That’s just a poor excuse to support white people and their comfort. Saying people of color give good reviews excuses absolutely nothing. Your response lacks empathy and is extremely disappointing. The bottom line is, my father was probably speaking loudly without realizing, a lot of white people got uncomfortable, and the management supported the white folks in order to keep their money up. The customers were wrong to judge and complain, the management was wrong for how they handled that, and the owner is wrong for his inappropriate response. My dad is a human being and a customer as well and deserves respect just like anyone else.

They're racist. My father was asked to leave, when he was sitting by himself minding his business and was the only black person there.

Excellent sandwiches and meals. We go once or twice a month. Service is good, the servers remember you (which is actually kind of incredible) and the food is good. Only downside (and all restaurants are dealing with this) is, food can sometimes take a while and they have raised prices - otherwise - good to go.

Excellent Greek and Italian food! Having eaten both at the restaurant and having ordered their food for a 100 person lunch, everything was delicious. We’ve never had folks ask us who the caterer was before! Highly recommend for both a family meal but also for your lunch or dinner catering needs.

The service is excellent. The waitress was very nice and patient, and I love that she's always smiling. We ordered the chicken kabobs and the chicken souvlaki. The chicken kabobs was good, but the veggies didn't taste or look grilled. The souvlaki wasn't what I expected. It was large pieces of chicken - about 1" wide x 2" long x 0.5 inch thick. It has a nice grilled flavor and juicy, but I was expecting the souvlaki to has more seasoning.

Excellent pizza. My son always gets the chocolate lava cake with ice cream.

food was very good. the only reason I'm not giving a five is because the rest atmosphere is a bit outdated. they should do a remodeling, of course, as long as the food quality is not compromised. I recommend this place for a relaxing dinner.

The local diner of choice for the west end. Atmosphere is 2nd to none. Really comfortable, friendly and cozy.

Been in Foxchase for years. Was on far end and much smaller. Nice now as well. Has bar. Lots of booths. Tables. Went almost daily when I worked at Bombay Bicycle Club. That and Pizza Box..

A great local restaurant. Not fancy, but really good food. What to order? I like the La Casa salad. I love the Chicken Parmesan. From NY/NJ? The pizza is as good as I have found around here. If you become a regular the staff will remember what you like to drink, what table you prefer and your name. And while i do not drink, the bar is impressive. Absolutely try, whether you're a tourist or a local.

Myself and my SO were on the hunt for a good gyro plate and stumbled across La Casa, which turned out to be a hidden gem! From the seriously AMAZING salad dressing, to the homemade Baklava, to the generous portions and fresh taste, La Casa was a delight! We will definitely be back!

With our previous Italian/Greek restaurant closed down we decided to try this place. So far we only tried the Pizza and chicken parm sub with fries but we will definitely be back. Best sub rolls I have had in a while

I have been coming to La Casa ever since I was a little kid. I’m an adult now and it’s still my go to place. I love the food, the people, and everything in between. I’ve brought so many of my friends and family here, even my co-workers, and everyone has loved this place in and out. Their service is always so fast, consistent, and pleasing. Thank you guys for everything over all these years, the chicken philly will forever be my go to.

I've been many times before the pandemic and have enjoyed all of my meals. My favorite is breakfast. I always order a custom omelet with a glass of orange juice. This is the first time I've visited them after the pandemic started. They have restricted the seating area so that all the customers are socially distant and all the staff are wearing masks. Today's breakfast was just as delicious as before. This a good place to get a bite to eat on the weekend.

Hidden gem! Food is excellent, priced reasonably and the wait staff are very nice. I particularly enjoy the gyro, Greek salad, fried zucchini, pizza and the nightly specials! I try to come here once a week and even got my parents and grandpa hooked on the place! Not to mention they are covid friendly with the tables spaced out. It makes eating out feel almost normal again.

I was looking for a place to eat while on Vacation and while many restaurants are closed in the area or accepting only take out orders, I found this place. The Pizza is amazing, fresh marinara sauce and the cheese super melty. The thought is also super tasty. They also have greek food. I tried the chicken souvlaki platter. The chicken was deliciously seasoned and super healthy. So it is a great option if you go with family and friends and like me cannot eat pizza due to dietary restriction. They have many great other healthy food options.

He estado en La Casa aproximadamente 5 veces y vengo aquí como parte de un grupo recurrente mensualmente. La comida está bien, nada especial pero agradable. Anoche, fui con un grupo de la estación de Cameron durante las horas felices de La Casa. Le pregunté al servidor si todavía eran precios de happy hour y ella respondió que sí. Luego pregunté por el vino blanco y ella dijo que tenían chardonnay, sauvignon blanc y pinot grigio. Pedí un chardonnay, que era muy malo, agrio casi como si la botella hubiera salido mal. Entonces, en las siguientes 2 rondas, cambié a sauvignon blanc. Mi esposa tenía 2 pinot Grigio. Cuando llegó la factura, el chardonnay costaba $ 4 (precio de la hora feliz) pero el sauvignon blanc y el pinot Grigio costaban $ 9 por bebida. Cuando pregunté, la camarera dijo que solo el chardonnay era una bebida de la hora feliz. Le dije que dijo los nombres de los tres cuando le pregunté acerca de los vinos blancos happy hour. Ella insistió en que solo había dado chardonnay como bebida para la hora feliz y dijo que los otros 2 vinos blancos estaban disponibles. Eso fue BS y exhorto a todos a que eviten LA CASA HASTA QUE DEJE DE ESTAR SIN PELEAR A LOS CLIENTES.

La comida no estaba mal y el servicio también era bueno, y tenían cosas desde pizza hasta platos griegos y pasta. Nada de lo que hablar, pero si quieres una comida decente por el precio. Great Service With a Smile! Seafood was average but the lasagna was excellent and so were the portions. Service was pretty fast and happy hour on a weekend was a bonus. Bathroom could've used a light wipe down and deodorizer.

¡Qué gran variedad de opciones en un menú! ¡Caminé esperando comida mexicana y encontré pizza griega, al estilo de Nueva York, mariscos y un menú de desayuno de día completo! Una gran porción del mundo representada entre la clientela y los servidores y la comida. Probé la pizza, la carnosa. Bastante fenomenal y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. El servicio y el ambiente fueron a la vez encomiables, atentos y receptivos, una música de fondo tolerable y bastante tranquila (como saben las personas que leen mis comentarios, los restaurantes ruidosos no son lo mío). En general, un excelente descubrimiento y espero volver.

Este fue un restaurante mexicano a un precio razonable. La comida era excelente! Teníamos fajitas y enchiladas que estaban bien cocinadas y deliciosas. El servicio fue muy bueno y oportuno. Los precios eran muy razonables incluso para el área de DC. Volveríamos a comer aquí de nuevo.

It's not bad, but the food quality does not match the price. The pasta I got was overcooked. The meatballs were good, but again, the dish was almost 17 dollars and tasted like it should have been 10.

I love this place. It's wonderful for family and the food is always quite tasty and fresh! Even my sullen teenager loves it. I don't eat pizza but I've been told that the pizza is pure fire!

Perfect for a group of picky eaters because there's something for everyone- gyros, pizza, salads, soups, sandwiches, pasta, etc. I take my family here often and everyone always enjoys their meals. Prices are reasonable (check out the daily special) and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Friendly servers.

Don't let the slightly shabby interior put you off. The food is really good. We have loved the salmon and the lasagna.

I hosted a dinner for 12 people at my house. From La Casa's catering menu I got a "small" tray of moussaka (actually half a restaurant-size sheet pan), two dozen bifteki (meatballs), and three dozen dolmades (stuffed grape leaves). The dolmades came on a platter beautifully arranged with romaine, Greek olives and cherry tomatoes. The moussaka and bifteki came in doubled foil tins that I put in my oven to keep warm until the guests arrived. All of the guests raved about the quality of the food. There was plenty left over, which we've been enjoying for days. Highly recommend. P.S. We had one vegetarian guest, and we got her an order of La Casa's vegetarian lasagna. She rated it 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Great staff. I'm not that regular but they are very personable with patrons and seem to have lots of regulars. Oven potatoes are amazing. Steak, pork chops, chicken are very good. Cocktails are good and made correctly.

I visit there at least once a month for breakfast with several friends and the food & service are great. I also periodically take the family for pizza and other great Grecian cuisine. They have a TV at the small cozy bar to watch sports and other things. Great local food stop within walking distance from Cameron Station and a short distance from Port City brewery.

We probably visited this place at least once a week when raising my children. The Greek salads are always fresh & plentiful. I have yet to find a better steak and cheese sub after traveling up and down the East Coast and Hal way around the world. The chicken parmigiana with spaghetti will feed the family. The hummus and pita is so fresh. Love the draft beer. And more When deciding where to host the family for my father’s funeral gathering, which happened to coincide with my birthday, I decided that LaCasa would be the best place. The food is always the best. Of course a few out of town guests first parked on Duke St in Old Town, even though I told them that parking would be no problem. Plus, where else could we make a reservation for 13 people on Friday night with 2 hour notice. Eventually, the party grew to 18, and the table just kept getting longer. It was like a true Greek feast with pictures of beer & wine, pizzas, subs, dolmades, and whatever else anyone wanted, just flowing up and down the table. The French fries are reliably hot and plentiful, etc. The family table was as long as any I saw on the Greek riviera. I have to say that evening the food was excellent, and served on time and to the correct people. This truly is a great place for a family gathering. Or a great place to take the family out to eat nutritious food and not break the budget.
