First time here. What a great hidden gem. The food absolutely delicious. Javier our server AMAZING, he is very friendly, polite and was very detailed in explaining the menu to us. The restaurant extremely clean. BTW great music. Will come back!!!

Cozy, family-friendly place and very delicious Venezuelan food.

The service was ok. Staff is nice. The place is clean and organized well. However the food seemed store bought, frozen and heated in a microwave. I had the roast and it was not good at all. I do not recommend ordering this. Maybe the other food is better.

Nice and clean, a bit pricey on some dishes but good taste

I haven't visited this place in a while. Now it has a renewed look and a quite varied menu. Recommended both for eating in and for good homemade food to take away. Talia treated us very well.

I am very sad, La Casola is an authentic Venezuelan food restaurant. People were able to experience foods that are not seen here in the United States. I have been in this country for 37 years and I know the food here very well. Today I had the bad surprise of ordering a golfeado and finding that they gave me a hybrid of golfeado. The casserola used the cinnamon bun dough that is bought at the Pillsburry supermarket to present a Venezuelan golfeado. How sad! The owners of the original La Caserola served original golfeados. The new owners decided to cut the work, charge more and use dough from a North American sweet and serve it as authentic Venezuelan... This is the problem that is seen today: we don't go the extra mile or present a job of excellence. The time of the microwave we want everything fast regardless of presenting mediocre work... I miss the original management of this Restaurant.

There are many Venezuelan food places in South Miami, however few taste like Venezuela!! Today I went to celebrate Mother's Day with my wife and my son and the flavors WITHOUT WORDS!! Maintain consistency in that strength so you can continue tasting palates!! The timing of the food and hospitality also stood out in this EXPERIENCE CONGRATULATIONS TO CHEF GILBERTO MARTINEZ!!

Food was incredible! So flavorful, big portions and great service! The mini arepas are sooo good my 4 year old devoured them. We loved everything, even the water was extra refreshing😄

So so sad. We’ve been customers since owner one opened. We came last December to try it under new management and were not very pleased with the food we ordered. Today we stopped by to purchase a couple of items. Left with a small container of caraotas, a small container of carne mechada and a small container of pastel de plátano. I don’t like to put a price on anyone’s efforts, but how are these three items $65? The carne mechada was alright. The black beans were 90% liquid and the remaining 10% was 100% bland beans. The pastel was not fresh. So, needless to say, that is where we say so long, La Casserola.

The chucho cake is very good but it lacks more fish flavor and more saltiness! I understand that they try to make a Dish that does not have such a strong flavor but the chucho cake has to be a Dish with a lot of flavor!

The food was delicious. I had Venezuelan Breakfast with shredded beef and my husband hd the traditional cachapa and a ground beef empanada. We both have fancy mimosas. The black beans were not my favorite. The rest was excellent. We were a group of 9 and we also ordered tequeños, fried cheese and mini arepas …. All delicious. Now the best part… the service was outstanding. Javier was fast, detailed oriented and courteous. There was live music too. Awesome brunch experience!

It's like the fourth time I visit this place, and it has several very special features. Firstly, there's a small market where they sell prepared Venezuelan foods. There's a restaurant area offering gourmet-level breakfasts and lunches. I used to think that no one could surpass my mom's 'asado negro venezolano,' but folks, it reaches a 5/5 level here. The service provided by the young Cuban, Javier, is incredible, and on Sundays, they have a live interpretation of Venezuelan harp music that is simply relaxing. I highly recommend it, especially if you're Venezuelan. I emphasize it's gourmet level; it's not an exaggeration, it's a fact. Visit it if you live in Weston, Miramar, or Pembroke Pines; it should be worth your while."

Me encanta la Casserola! Cada vez que he ido, disfruto mucho comer cachapas y tequeños. El brunch es delicioso. Nunca me olvido de comprar comida para llevar. Me encanta la carne mechada, el pasticho y el pollo desmechado. Sin embargo, este año probé las hallacas y son definitivamente las que más me han gustado de las compradas, tenían mucha carne, pollo y cerdo! Y eso que yo siempre digo, que no hay mejores hallacas que las que hace mi mamá, pero estas son muy buena competencia! Compré dos pan de jamón y los americanos de mi oficina lo probaron y lo amaron, muy generoso en jamón y aceitunas! Muy rico todo!

Stumbled upon this cozy restaurant for some coffee and also tried their authentic Venezuelan cachapa with shredded beef. Definitely made from scratch and love. Owner visited our table and offered us to try a new dessert they will be offering over the upcoming holidays that was absolutely delicious. We wish we had more room to try more. As we were leaving we realized the market offerings of there authentic eats, ready to take home in which I thought was an amazing detail.

It was our first time at La Casserola and we were beyond impressed. Not only was the food divine but the service was exceptional. Javier took great care of us and we hope we get the pleasure of seeing him again. After our brunch, he took the time to explain what was available at the market. We made sure to grab a few things so we can enjoy La Casserola from our home. Highly recommended!! Thank you again to Javier!!

One of my FAVORITE restaurants locally! Lovely inside and very chill atmosphere to have a conversation 1-on-1. The BEST appetizer are the tequeños, eaten them all 3 times I've been and come away impressed by their quality every time!

He ido varias veces pero en verdad muy descontenta con la comida y sobretodo el servicio recibido esta última visita. Varias equivocaciones en las ordenes sin soluciones para el cliente ademas no había chicha ni empanadas de cazón como lo ofrecía la carta. No volveré a este lugar

GREAT ENERGY!! THE FOOD WAS VERY WELL PRESENTED, GREAT PORTIONS, AND TASTED GREAT. OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK AND ASK FOR JAVIER!! LOVE HIM.

This was more like a ground meat soup. Nothing like a regular lasagna. You cannot paste meat with pasta alone. You need cheese in between. Ricotta normally or any cheese. Unfortunately we couldn’t finish our dish. Taste on meat ok. But this is definitely ot an Italian dish. Maybe it’s soup dish don’t know really. I won’t order this again for sure.

Cuando en un restaurant venezolano se ve eso ......muy malo es sabor es pésimo....el mesero que nos atendió no entiende de.obserciones e insistió en que tenían el mejor café se la zona...un pernil que sabe a carne molida 6 en general se está perdiendo la esencia de lo que era la caserola...retomen el rumbo

Tenía mucho tiempo sin ir a la Caserola, hoy domingo 12 de Febrero decidí visitar de nuevo esperando encontrar la calidad que siempre, desafortunadamente no fue así, es un lugar totalmente distinto, pedí un Brunch especial que tienen , y mi primera sorpresa fue la cálidad de las Arepas, terrible, la mía completamente dura y la de mi esposa aún fría, se ve que las congelan y recalientan, el resto de la comida aunque muy bien presentada, no representa el precio que cobran ni la calidad que esperaba, Lamentablemente no creo que regrese, Le doy 3 estrellas aunque creo que merece menos, por que no tengo intenciones de perjudicar a un paisano venezolano,pero ojalá este review lo vea como algo positivo y una llamada a revisar la calidad

Desde hace varios años encargamos en este restaurante la comida para navidad y año nuevo: hallacas, ensalada de gallina, pan de pavo, pernil y quesillo; adicional para el día siguiente hemos probado la torta de plátano, lomo negro asado, arroz a la marinera, tequeños y chupe, buenimos todo lo que hemos probado, pero hoy que vinimos a retirar la comida para mañana decidimos consumir en el lugar y probamos el pabellón venezolano, que es un plato típico de mi país que viene con arroz blanco, frijoles negros, carne mechada (de pollo, res o pescado) y plátano, adicional ellos le ponen huevo, pues les cuento que estaba muy bueno, con un sabor intenso que me transporto hacia el pasado cuando me reunía en familia. Recomendado 100% como comida para llevar y consumo en el lugar

La comida estuvo excelente!! comimos plato navideño que estaba excelente, desde la hayaca hasta la ensalada todo! También picamos arepitas, tequenos y empanadas que estaban deliciosas. Para completar la atención no pudo ser mejor. Muy recomendada La Casserola..

This place it’s amazing. Best and authentic Venezuelan food. When i first started going the place was small and as the years went by they keep growing. The atmosphere is amazing. The service was excellent and we had a chance to speak to one of the owners very friendly and nice. I’ve recommended this place to all of my friends and everyone loves it. Food is delicious here. Great place to come on weekends and enjoy breakfast with live music. The Venezuelan breakfast comes in a very generous portion. The variety fried arepitas and the grill cheese are a hit. I love the arp Venezuelan music is amazing and the service is good. Besides the great food you can eat there, you can take trays already done of variety of Venezuelan food for lunch and dinner.
