Amazing cortadito and great friendly service

The staff is very friendly and gives good menu recommendations. Actually, I was going to eat Cappecon Riche, but they strongly recommended the menu. It's a very good cafe. Gracias!

The servers go further their way to satisfy you, either helping you to buy souvenirs or serving you. A lot of types of coffee. Good place to talk with a friend/relative while taking a coffe-pastry breakfast or snack, and also to bring your laptop.

I really liked the place. I just didn't like that it's not tacky enough to look like a Cuban business. But hey, no one can do it that badly. The coffee is too good and the service is very good. The girl who served us was friendly.

We had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the coffee was exceptional. Linnet, in particular, was very nice, and it’s people like her who create such a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back often.

I had the best espresso I’ve ever had in my life here. The staff are super friendly and it was nice to practice my Spanish. The espresso was just under $3 after tax which for the quality is a fair price. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone who is a coffee lover.

The drinks are great but only if you drink them fast so they can rush you out! No AC. Just in the side of the cafe. One server was trying to kick us out of our table because we wanted AC. When she said it was ok to sit here, she never came back to ask if we needed anything else. It is a shame because I go here monthly with a friend and never experienced this treatment till now. I’ll look somewhere else

Tourist trap / devastatingly un authentic. We ordered 3 cuban sandwiches two coffees and a juice. This is in Little Havana and they say the best cuban and Café-cito. We got cold cubanos with no pork. And they say it's authentic. The hot coffee was cold and overpriced. Second coffee never made it to the table. Juice was warm and they gave no ice. What a waist of time. And to top it all off they want 80.00 for a 3.00 fabric coffee strainer.

At first I thought it was very cute! It's picturesque Cuban style! They sell beautiful coffee makers of all kinds, the service of the waitress was very pleasant, she was very attentive and helpful, it is a very cozy place and I really love coffee and I was eager to try them and they surprised me a lot with the cold coffee "three milk “delicious! So of course I'm coming back!

Local cuban coffee place in Calle Ocho (Little Havana)! The waitress was very nice. Also, alot of cool decoration like coffee cup lights, coffee cup clock etc. We sat next to the coffee grinder which made nice fresh coffee that smelled good. Waitress recommended two different coffees and both were great. One with a stronger taste and the other with a touch of tequila.

Went here on our trip to Little Havana and could not be happier with our choice. The service was exceptional, our server made personalized coffee recommendations for us and all four of the choices were fantastic. Delicious coffee that looked as good as it tasted. The ambience of the shop was also great, very friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend you try it if you tour Little Havana.

Very nice. Miri was super attentive and informative. The environment smells like coffee and there is nice music playing. The decoration are so warm and it’s pretty. Definitely recommend. Feels very authentic. Nice spot to hide out especially after the rain.

total tourist scam. too expensive!!! A single menu hangs on the wall and the cheapest coffees are written. The waiters direct you to the most expensive coffees, but there is no menu to see how much they are. We paid $9 for a coffee! You can drink the same coffee for $3 elsewhere. They also try to force you to sell coffee. It's a very disturbing place. I would never recommend it.

My visit to this gem in Little Havana was a highlight of my Miami trip, marking it as the pinnacle of my Cafecito conquest. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the evident passion behind their craft. The tour of the place was enlightening; seeing how they roast the coffee in-house was a testament to their dedication to quality. The freshness of their Cafecito is unparalleled, and this commitment to excellence is evident in every cup. I started with the classic Colada, a shot or two of espresso whipped with sugar into a delightful foam. It was a flawless cup. Strong, sweet, and devoid of any bitterness or burnt/bitter coffee taste. Truly, it set a high bar for Cafecito. Next was the Cafe Bombon, this quickly became my favorite. Similar to the Colada but with a layer of condensed milk at the bottom that you stir before drinking, it added a luscious sweetness that complemented the robust coffee perfectly. I ended up ordering this multiple times during my stay in Miami. On another visit, I tried the Havana Vieja, which features coffee liqueur. The addition of the liqueur gave it a smooth, velvety texture while maintaining the bold Cuban coffee flavor. It was a luxurious experience. For my girlfriend, who isn’t a coffee drinker, I got the Affogato—a shot of espresso poured over a scoop of vanilla ice cream. She enjoyed it, particularly the ice cream, as it balanced the coffee's intensity. We also indulged in some desserts. The tres leches was quite good, albeit a bit too sweet for my taste. The Arroz Con Leche, however, was a winner. It had the perfect level of sweetness and a wonderful flavor that rounded off our coffee experience nicely. La Colada Gourmet stands out as a must-visit for any coffee enthusiast in Little Havana. Their passion for crafting perfect coffee is palpable, and it translates into an exceptional product. The variety and quality of their offerings make it the mecca of Cuban coffee. Leaving La Colada was bittersweet, as it quickly became a beloved part of my Miami experience, and I already miss it dearly now that I'm back in New Jersey. For any coffee lover visiting Miami, La Colada Gourmet is a pilgrimage worth making.

Good music, excellent service, but above all excellent coffee

We visited Little Havana and enjoyed the fresh roasted coffee here. They have a large roaster in the sitting area and it smells divine! We got to watch a batch of fresh roasted beans come out and oh my; it was delicious smelling! The rum cake and chicken empanada were good. They did not skimp on the chicken in the empanada and the rum flavor was prevalent in the cake. There was a small sitting area with tables up front and a large covered patio in the back. Very crowded and would be difficult for a wheelchair, stroller or larger individual to maneuver. There was a clean bathroom for customers that had a changing table. Line was long however for that one bathroom. The coffee was fair priced on simple coffee or espresso. They do try very hard to upsell if you request this to a more signature drink such as a tres leches. These signature drinks are about double the cost unfortunately. Our favorite thing was being able to buy a pound of fresh roasted coffee for a fair price to take home and enjoy. They did grind it for us also upon request. Thank you.

Possibly one of the best coffee places I have ever known, without a doubt the best in little Havana. It was a pleasure to have stopped by and met Judith and her daughter. We are waiting for you in Spain whenever you want, we will try to advise you as best as possible on your next trip.

I have been here on multiple occasions whenever I visit. I WISH they had a location in Chicago. I had a great experience thanks to the exceptional service provided by Alexandra. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great recommendations. She made us feel truly valued as guests. The ambiance was perfect and the coffee is out of this world!!!!!!

An exceptionally amazing place. The coffee is just out of this world. High quality local roast with multiple different Cuban recipes. The typical Cuban pastries are delicious, and the place is decorated like a coffee amusement store. Every detail is carefully taken care of. Will definitely stop by every time I’m in Miami.

Coffees are great but pricy. It is one of those touristy places in the area. They will see you a coffee for $7-9 that is crazy for a “Cuban coffee experience” the staff is friendly. They try to sell you things at the counter. Plenty of seating and a cute little patio in the back.

Went in wanting 2 cafe cubanos. The one guy taking order just laughed and made fun of us asking what kind of coffee did we want and pointed to the 2 menu boards. I didn’t realize that asking for a cafe cubano was funny enough to turn around to his colleague and retell the story of what just happened. We decided to walk out because of the rude staff and overpriced drinks. We went down the street for nicer service and better ambiance. Why buy and support an establishment that has rude staff?
