The food here is amazing! They do not accept resos, it’s walk in only but honestly worth it! I had the smaller mixed seafood salad. Kinda expensive but soooo tasty! And then I had the whole friend fish and that was so flavourful

The food taste amazingly fresh, the menu has variety and they have daily specials. The fish tacos used to be $5 on Tuesday now I think they are $7. Might as well get the combo of 2 fish and 2 shrimp tacos used to be $15. I’ve dined in, take to go and had it door dashed to the beach. The have valet parking in the back which gets busy but they have the capacity to handle it and the staff are all quick and friendly but after you get your food like in many establishments if you need something you may have to get their attention lol.

I ordered a shrimp bifongo Recommended to 💯 And the attention of Corduroy Dani is excellent.

Visited PR as a tourist and this spot was walking distance from our BnB. The food was incredible and so was the staff. Great flavor, quick service, and a knowledgeable staff. Shout out to our waiter, Pio, for the menu recommendations!

The food was great, the atmosphere was very beachy and beautiful, the service was not so good. We were a group of 8 and at first they served us well and then they abandoned us and did not come to us again, but I recommend coming as a family.

Delicious food!!! Well prepared. Our waiter was very accommodating and made great suggestions. To start we had the calamari and it was done to perfection. The shrimp with mofo go and the chicken breast with avocado were totally mouth watering. Of course, the drinks were equally en punto. Such flavour, will be back!!

This place was fine, i’m a foodie. food took what felt like a lifetime…probably a good 50 minutes, i got a grouper fish fillet which was just okay, for how expensive it just came with one side. the fish was really covered in the sauce like almost too much. this was just an okay experience, ive had such better fish and sides in my life.

We ordered a bunch of seafood for takeout and it was the best I've ever tasted. We are only here for 4 days but we are definitely going back.

I ordered the fried snapper and it was amazing! I had rice and beans with a salad for my two sides.

This has to be one of, if the best red snapper I have ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection! The waiter was so friendly and so helpful. Everyone love all the food that they had and no one left with any complaints. This is gonna be my seafood restaurant anytime I come back.

Pricey but great whole red snapper, not dry like another restaurant, skin is crisp, but not too hard. Sides have plentiful portions. Still, a great choice for seafood outside of the priciest in Condado or Old San Juan.

Walked here from our our airbnb. This restaurant was heavy mentioned to us multiple times. The food was great and fresh. Prices were great for both of us. In the states it was a easy 100+ meal. But here only 60 bucks for 2 dinners, with 4 drinks and appetizers. Amazing prices. The people that work here were very welcoming and reccomend what we should try. Can't wait to visit again.

Went with the family, we all had a wonderful time. Food was delicious had the chuleta Kan Kan. Couldn't eat it all there was soo much.. every bite was delicious.

Great friendly service! This local seafood restaurant offers the best empanadas at a fair price. Their crab alcapurrias are delicious and pair perfectly with an ice-cold beer that won’t break the bank. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!

It is a very good restaurant when it comes to consuming seafood-based dishes. My favorite dish, and I consider it stellar, is the avocado stuffed with octopus salad and corduroy tostones.

A party if three friends set to enjoy our company. We had vaca frita with tostones de pana and breaded pork loin with rice and beans. Great taste, excellent service.

Delicious! For my taste, PR food is a little too salty, however, I ordered a Trifongo (cassava, ripe and green banana) stuffed with seafood and the combined flavors became a delight. The short one 10/10! Order one :)

We found a place we loved on our first night on vacation! The bartendress was super sweet (one was, the other was not), and the food was amazing. Their mofongo eas perfectly crispy just like I like it. Empanadillas were on point. Good happy hour.

Visit this place for the first time. When I arrived at the door there was an employee. She never welcomed me, much less spoke to me. Then I met a gentleman, I assume it was the security of the place. I asked him about a place to sit. He pointed his hands at me. Bar. When I sat down, an employee named Naomi was my host for the two hours I was there. I can say that this girl's unique service changed my mind about leaving the place... Thank you, thank you, thank you, Naomi for your empathy and making a big difference in your workplace. For you I will return and I hope to have a better perception of La Cueva Del Mar 🌊.

Atmosphere was pleasant, staff was very polite, food was awesome. I had the pasta with chorizo, Pollo, and Carne asada, which was very good. Wife had whole snapper with breadfruit tostones.

I'm not the type to say anything but bad service, food wasn't good. Too many waitresses hanging out. Only thing that came fast was the check. I'm thinking where to go eat after this. Skip this place

Went here for dinner - pretty good seafood. Reasonably priced, especially for the area. The crab with rice was gold.

Fish tacos and shrimp tacos were so good! The spicy avocado salsa is good enough to drink too.

Food was overpriced: rodaballo was a small portion and it was not fresh.

Delicious food, great recommendations from the staff, everyone was very friendly. I enjoyed sitting at the bar talking to the local people. Everyone I met here spoke plenty of English which was helpful for me.

Rating is for the bill not being correct! Be careful when they weigh your fish or lobster tail. Even after they weight it in front of you when the bill comes its more!! Not the correct way to treat customers. We were regulars with a waiter we know and they still tried to pull a fast one! Shameful! Is it only with non PR customers?

This place was recommended to us by a local and was said to be "the best authentic food in San Juan." It definitely was incredibly delicious and I had an absolutely delicious meal. I was recommended to get the fried fish of the day, it was red snapper and it was so delicious with lots of flavor. The rice and beans were okay with it, but I prefer the yellow rice you can find all over the island. The best thing by far was the empanadillas here, I got the conch because that is what was recommended and I wish I had more. The homemade cheesecake was also to die for. The place doesn't look like it would be incredible, but sometimes hole in the wall places are the best.

I am not a fish fan, but was told to try these fish tacos because they will not be fishy tasting. I have to admit they were great, they told that’s the difference with fresh fish.

This is an awesome place!! Everything is so fresh and so good here that will leave you craving for more and more! Came here twice over two weeks and both times the food was consistently good. I don't eat fish but I had the Milanese chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. Most important get some empanadas here. They're delicious.

One of the waitress was very rude and started questioning me and my partner for not leaving a tip after she gave me the wrong order to which I was allergic. The last thing you want to do on a vacation day is argue with some random

This place is quite touristy (I’m also a tourist haha) but it’s very tasty! It’s a bit expensive, similar prices to other major cities in the US, but that’s to be expected when a place in Puerto Rico has a wait staff that also speaks English and caters to tourists. Service is quick and every item I got was delicious. The girl sitting next to me at the bar got the lobster and it looks INCREDIBLE! I would come back again just to try the lobster!

Very chill atmosphere and good food! We walked here from our AirBnB and sat at the bar. The place was busy but did not impact the service we received from our bar tender. The food came out in decent timing and we were well tended to. This place comes recommended even after we ate here - while on an outing our kayak leader also mentioned this place so it’s clearly a local fave!

I had a wonderful dining at this location. Has an elaborate Puerto Rican menu with some delicious options. I tried the Mofongo with octopus and conch. It was recommended to me by some locals. Highly recommended!

This place could have been great. Awesome atmosphere. Bit after waiting for more than 2 hours for a simple meal and nonexistent service, we had to leave — hungry. Totally rude and unacceptable service.

Waoooo the best sea food you can find on the island… Everything very fresh and made instantly. Super recommended!!! Nothing fancy but what is luxury is the food!!!!

Worst experience of my life. Made us wait 2 hours with no food and we had to leave with no food. The workers still made us pay for one of the apps. If you can not feed the people because you are backed up maybe don’t take the group.

Waited 2 hours for food before walking out. Staff kept lying to us and telling us food would come in 10 minutes. A larger group came after us and was served before us.

If given the option, I would rate it zero stars. Our group of nine waited 45 minutes for a table, understanding the business was busy but then waited an additional hour for appetizers. We observed other tables, including an 11-person party that arrived after us, being served before us. Despite the server repeatedly assuring us that our food would arrive in ten minutes, we waited another hour with nothing on our table before deciding to leave. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

My family enjoyed eating in the outside area (still a covered area) and found it was much quieter than the indoor part which was a bit too loud for us. Great food!

Food and service was very good. Thou salsa music is not proper music when sitting to have a meal. Also it was played too loud that made conversation almost impossible. Reason for not coming back. Good to have valet parking.

Service was good but the food was just not great. Rice beans and tostones were really meh, and we had the worst fried calamari in history, like eating fried thin rubber bands, no flavor at all.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and while looking for seafood reccomendations, a local pointed out this restaurant. Food is delicious, waiters are super friendly and has fair prices!

One of my favorite places to eat sea food. The food is great, the people are friendly. Sometimes I just order and pick up. It can get pretty busy but that should say enough about the food.

Very popular restaurant with good noisy atmosphere. Fish taco was disappointing with just boring coleslaw and a sauce that taste almost like nothing. The fried Mahi Mahi fish nuggets was also tasteless, just a big lump of fish meat, due to the tasteless nature of the fish. It's pretty good for Puerto Rican cuisine (everything is fried) but not if you are used to perfectly seasoned, magical combination of ingredients and varied method of cooking methods. Price is fair and cheaper than most San Juan restaurants.

This food is so good!!! I got the chicken, steak & Chorizo mofongo(half plantain, half sweet plantain) and my friend got the fried red snapper with rice and beans. We had 2 orders of fish tacos to start. The mango, coconut & passion fruit margaritas got us feeling nice. Melvin was our waiter and he was perfect. We sat just outside the kitchen and it was so nice to see people grooving, dancing and having an overall good time while they prepared food. I ordered the guava cheesecake to go because well...I’m stuffed & I can’t eat another thing. Please come here...often! I know I will‼️

Wow! Awesome food and great customer service. We had our last meal in PR here and wished we could've stayed another day to try more of their menu. We had the tuna wonton nachos, fish ceviche, and fish tacos. If you are fortunate to visit PR, this is a hidden gem and a must-try. Provecho!!

Drinks were strong & tasty! Unfortunately, we didn't love all the food we got - the arepas were too greasy (conch & octopus filling was delicious though) and the arroz con mariscos only had 1-2 of each kind of seafood listed (squid, mahi, clam, mussel, shrimp) 😭 Our server was so lovely! We would definitely be open to coming back to try different food.

The seafood was cooked to perfection 🤌The fish was perfectly seasoned and basically melted in my mouth. The shrimp was juicy and tender. The server was attentive, the ambiance was chill. I can't say enough great things about it. The food was so good we kept forgetting to take pictures until we were half done!
