Excellent dinner and wine. Our server was prompt and courteous. I had the pizza and my friends had the lasagna. It was delicious. The chef/owner came out and we got to speak with him. It was very pleasant and answered our questions.

The food was amazing and the service even better. Shared salad was fresh and more than we could finish, had two different pastas and a nice red wine. The peach dessert with homemade gelato was well worth it.

We ate at this place recently, the waitress mentioned the "special" of the night featuring: pork tenderloin, asparagus and red potatoes, but never mentioned the price. When I got the bill, it was $38 for the plate. The most expensive plate on the menu was $27,(shrimp and spaghetti). On what planet would the "special" be 30% more than the most expensive plate. Most plates were in the $18 to $24 range. What an underhanded business practice. I'll never darken the door of this "CLIP JOINT" ever again. Unbelievable

This place is absolutely amazing! Some of the best lasagna I've had at an Italian restaurant. This is for sure the best Italian I've had in the tri-state area. The restaurant itself is very cute and charming, we ate upstairs which we thought was really neat (the restaurant is in an old house). We have recommended that all our friends and family eat here. Really great quality food and excellent service!

We came here for Valentines Day and it was great!! We ordered 2 drinks, appetizers, and meals and were still out within an hour! Drinks were tasty and the food was delicious!! Our waitress was also very friendly. Would come back again!!

Great place for a special celebration. We went here for our 10th anniversary. My husband and I each got the special (New York strip steak, potatoes, and broccolini) paired with a Montepucciano, and the peach cobbler with vanilla gelato for dessert. Aperitif was a Blue Mafia (old fashioned with blue Curaçao). Lovely, charming Italian-American ambiance. Friendly service.

Hands down, the best Italian restaurant in WV. It's a little cramped and crowded inside, but the food is absolutely worth it. The lasagna is really good and my son had something with a vodka sauce on it that was great. I don't think you can go wrong here.

I really should have sent the plate back to the kitchen, but I was tired and starving so I picked off the offensive meat and just ate the rest, which was mediocre at best. I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Famglia while visiting Huntington on business. While I'm no expert on Italian or even Italian-American food, this place seemed like the real deal. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was well executed. The olive antipasto was well prepared and the wood-fired lasagna was well made and very tasty. Twice during my visit the owner came out to personally check on things. Add to that the fact that there was Peroni on tap and what more could I ask for? I show up without my wallet and they couldn’t do Apple Pay or Venmo, just one of those nights. So I drive 30 min back home and back to the restaurant to pay for it, I’m already irritated because I forgot but whatever. So then I get my order and the receipt says 70$. I’m thinking okay weird because the Amorè is 50$ plus gelato 5$? I dont think a second thought about it I pay and then leave. I get to my car and look in the bag and I’m confused. There is only 2 entrees, the appetizer, and the gelato. For reference the Amorè online listed 2 salads, bread, appetizer, 2 entrees on the quick to go menu. The entrees are 34$ together (Chicken Biancos), appetizer is 14$ (pepperoni Stromboli), salads 10$, bread 5$, and gelato is 5$ separately. So I go back in for a 3rd time and ask did they forget the salads and bread. She looks confused and says that what’s in the bag is it. I then say I order the Amore separated basically and it comes with all that. And she said I just ordered what I said on the phone. I say how is all this 70$? And she said I’m sorry but that’s what it is. This meal max should have been 52$ plus tax. Where did the other 20 go??? And the size of the gelato says pint online and looked like a Togo sauce container (melted by the time I picked it up). Couldn’t have been more disappointed tonight. I had been longing to try this place for quite some time. First of all we called to see if you need reservations and was told yes but they would make a spot at the bar for us. Then another couple came in behind us with no reservation and after refusing to be seated outside was given a table . That situation aside, we got our drinks and mine was off putting. Couldn’t quite figure out what that taste was in my drink until I was told it was not chlorine. Then it hit me, it was the cleaning solution they were washing their dishes with. After a change in drinks we continued to order our meal, Lasagna. My husband also tasted the solution when he ate the last piece of lasagna on his plate.We found the lasagna very cheesy,but very little meat in it. It was ok, but It didn’t seem to taste like authentic Italian lasagna. To each his own, but I think the food and atmosphere is lacking and the prices are extreme for the quality of food.

They had us at "Homemade Pasta". Coming from NY and my husband being Italian, this is something we missed moving to the tri-state area. We had Costindina pizza which had chicken, red peppers, pistachios, and a chili honey drizzle. And we had the special which was pasta with grouper, mussels and shrimp. One of the best places to eat in huntington WV, the atmosphere is great, the staff is amazing even though the place gets really busy they always take the time to come by and check if u need anything. I have never had a bad experience here. Service is always great, but even if it wasn't, the food is so good I'd keep coming back. Fortunately for me, the service has always been top notch. I've witnessed the staff be very accommodating to other patrons, and it's not uncommon to see the chef or owner walk out and see how everybody is enjoying their meals. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed, regardless of how busy they are. Met family for a birthday celebration. We were sold as we walked in by the fig bush and grapevines outside near the patio seating. The inside is so very quaint and intimate. Addison’s service and attention to my table was A+ and the relaxed atmosphere combined with the setting sun was a perfect end to our long day.

As a solo diner, I was able to get a table immediately on a Friday night without a reservation. The waitstaff was very friendly but my waitress was fairly new and therefore not too attentive (fine for me because I don’t like to be bothered) Nice selection of wines and beers. My dinner was a Caterina pizza. It was delicious. I had it flipped over and served as a sandwich. I highly recommend it. Very good brick oven pizza.

We arrived there right at the opening f the dinner hour and were promptly seated. We each had pizza from the menu. The crust was wonderful but the all meat pizza was salty. The service could have been better, I noticed other customers were informed of the daily specials and we were not.
