Delicious food and attentive service EVERY time we visit!

Great prices, good food and drink selection, really excellent staff. No public bathroom, but this is a fantastic Mexican restaurant.

Food sucked so bad I wouldn’t give it to my dog. When I called to complain they shook it off. I’ll never order from them again

I returned on leave from being stationed overseas for 4 years and my girlfriend told me this was a must try place. And once again, she was right haha the food and drinks were great, the staff was friendly. Very happy to say this was my first time trying Mexican food after so long while also enjoying my time in a restaurant back home. 12/10 experience :)

Too bad we can't give a half-star because I'd give it 3 1/2. This place is better than just the average Mexican place, but it's not so good I'd go out of my way for it. Several families were there, which is nice. If you are with the family and in the area, then give it a try.

We have always felt like everyone at LaFondas is family! They go out of their way to make sure we have what we need. Plenty of chips and salsa!! Whenever our out of state family comes to town we have to make a trip to LaFondas!!

We are new to Harrodsburg and have tried several restaurants in town but have quickly decided that LaFonda is our favorite! The food (get the guacamole !) is always delicious & cooked to order (have an unusual allergy 😝), hot and ready in minutes. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The drinks are spot on and your glass is never empty.

The food was lacking flavor this time like something was missing it was on the bland side but everything else was great like always and the salsa was sloppy and didn’t have the best taste but we will be back lafondas is our go to Mexican restaurant

La Fonda’s is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I think their chimichanga and their Chile relleno are THE best I’ve ever eaten. I also love their grilled chicken salad and chiliquiles Mexicanos. They are always consistent with no disappointments. Their staff is always friendly and attentive.

If you love Mexican food this is the place to be. Authentic Mexican food to please the masses. This family loves what they do and it shows. They also have burgers and such for those who aren't much on eating mexican.

Wish Kentucky Mexican restaurants would serve real Mexican food not the slop they serve. This white creamy cheese that is tossed on everything is not true to Mexican food and most of the entree's are not accurate to what they are supposed to be. Was aweful food.

It's the Saturday of Derby Weekend....ok, it's Derby Day. As we usually do, we try to get out of town on Derby Weekend, which involved a trip to Shaker Village and then lunch, which leads us to La Fonda. After a helluva hike at Shaker Village I was ready for food and La Fonda was close enough to take care of that issue. La Fonda is located right on Main Street in downtown Harrodsburg and is very easy to find, with its burgundy (or is it maroon?) awning. Street parking was a breeze. We were seated immediately and our server (whose name I don't recall) greeted us and brought our drinks right away while we perused the ENORMOUS menu. The décor at La Fonda isn't overstated and it feels genuine to the atmosphere they're trying to create. Yes, it's colourful, but if you know anything about Mexican culture you know that it's VERY colourful. I opted for the spicy pork chili verde, since I have a weakness for chili verde. The "spicy" part of that comes from adding in some chorizo, which is 1) BRILLIANT and B) awesome. Not 10 minutes later our food arrived, hot and steamy. The spicy pork chili verde was OUT-FREAKING-STANDING. The addition of the chorizo gave it just the punch it needed. Our server was spot-on with refills and getting more napkins (chili verde can get kinda sloppy if you use the tortilla eating method). La Fonda is laid back and comfortable. Good food, reasonably priced, and great service. I might just have to make the trip from J-Town again soon.

By far one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants. The food is spectacular, the service is just as great, the prices are more than fair and the overall ambiance is quite nice as it’s a smaller restaurant situated down town. Would highly recommend!

Place is a joke. Only delivered half our food via door dash an entire meal was missing! Asked for a refund and won’t order from this joke again!

It was my first time and I had a great experience. I ordered a steak and it was delicious, better than some steak houses. The service was excellent I will definitely come back to try more of the dishes and a margarita too.

Without a doubt this is the best place in Harrodsburg. We have been coming since they opened over 20 years ago and still love it. They are a family full of wonderful people.

The crazy burrito was excellent 👍 also the especial grill my family throughly enjoyed.

They have skinny margaritas!! It's right next door to the dollar store, wal mart, goodwill... highly recommend going here for lunch or dinner as part of a shopping trip. Seems like a great place to bring friends out too. Really looking forward to visiting again.

We were just traveling through town and stopped here. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food quality was consistent with expectation based on price. Yes I would return if I was in the area.

If zero were an option they would get that. Salsa tasted like it came out of a jar. Chicken chimichanga was supposed to be spicy chicken….I guess if black pepper thrown on some barely fully cooked chicken is spicy chicken then yea. I love Mexican cuisine but I will never return here.

I got the make your own combo. It came with 2 main dishes and rice and refried beans for $8.99. It was delicious. You get chips and salsa with your order. The staff was great and very friendly.

Excellent Mexican restaurant the waiters the chefs the entire crew is extremely attentive and the food is extremely good! We had steak fajitas chicken and bacon fajitas shrimp quesadilla cheese dip three sweet teas with lemon and the bill was $44 hard to beat highly recommend this place for dining they're closing to indoor dining today November 20th at 5:00 p.m. because of the governor's mandates they are still doing curbside and delivery eat here it's very very good

My favorite restaurant in Harrodsburg. I do not go as often as I did a few years ago, due to declining health. Used to go couple times a month. Our amigos.

Never get the same bill twice. No matter how many times we've been there and order the same thing the check is never the same amount. So with more than one Mexican restaurant to choose from we will no longer go here.

The food wasn't terrible. But it wasn't my favorite either. I liked it. The server was sort of inattentive. I don't know why, but there were a couple times I tried to get his attention and it was like he purposefully would not make eye contact. The food was a little bland, and I specifically ordered mine hot. It was spicy but not flavorful. I don't know if it was just an off night, but it wasn't terrible.

La Fonda Mexican Got a flat steak. It was very large with good flavor. Did not care for rice, just not a rice eater. The beans were very good. One of the kids had the Harrodsburg special and really love it. We also had the Taco plate was very good also. Waiter was very attentive. Drinks always full. And checked in often. He was friendly and joked with the kids.
