I'm Italian with lots of family there. This place is fantastic. Everything he makes is the real thing.

Everything is perfect! The chef is so friendly and makes sure all guests are happy. The food is GREAT! And at affordable prices!

Very good. Bread is soft and made here. The chicken that came with a salad was lightly fried and tasty. Will be coming back :-D gotta try the pizza and pasta next. Cant wait

We love this place ! The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and will accomadate your requests. Order the lasagna and don't forget about the yummy cannolis!

I saw on trip advisor that this place had 29 out of 36 5 star reviews. Well, in my honest opinion, it definitely does not deserve that. I've heard locals, which I am as well, rave about how good the food is. Apparently they've never had good Italian food. My honest opinion of this place, well, here goes... the food is mediocre, or "OK". I had the lasagna, honestly, I've had alot better frozen or even from Olive Garden. There was hardly any meat in it, and found a whole bay leaf in the middle of it. The rest of our party felt the exact same way about their miscellaneous dishes. Now, the service, well when it was just us in here, it was great, of course, but when about 3 other couples came in it quickly changed, let alone the fact that the place filled up. The service was absolutely horrible to say the least. My father tried to get someone's attention to get more ice tea for around 10 min, I finally had enough and went to get it myself, which they seemed to not even notice.

My husband and I received a gift certificate to this restaurant from a friend. We decided to try it on a Saturday night around 8 pm. When we walked in there were only two tables seated. We were not sure if we were supposed to order at the register or wait to be seated due to no sign and no one to greet us. A waitress came and greeted us, but still did not indicate the ordering procedure. She sat us and seemed nervous and unsure of the gluten free menu. She turned us over to another server. This served said that they did not have gluten free pasta. She asked us if we still wanted to order without gluten free and we said no. Then she went to check and found out that they did have gluten free pasta, but it would take 15 minutes to boil. We were fine with that and ordered the baked penne with gluten free pasta. The food arrived after about 20-25 minutes and was piping hot. However, it did not have a good aroma and one might say that it even smelled bad. We tried the dish and while the pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce tasted like burnt metal. It did not taste homemade and actually made me gag. Neither my husband nor I ate much of the meal. This was one of the worst "Italian" meals of our lives. The waitress saw that we did not eat much and wanted to know why. We explained that we did not care for it and that it tasted bland. She kept pressing the issue and took our plates saying that the cook was not going to be happy. Our meal cost around $30 before tip and no effort was made to provide another choice, reduce our bill, or provide some type of coupon for a future visit. To top it off my husband went to use the men's room and the door knob was missing, the urinal was broken, and the mirror was cracked. This was definitely our first and last visit. There are many other Italian restaurants in the area that far surpass this one. This was disgusting on many levels and I would advise everyone to stay far away from Fornarina.

Simply put, this restaurant is the best! Their pizza is made exactly how my mom once made it and is authentic European food that I never get tired of. Thank you for the great experience!

Delicious, authentic Italian food! Excellent! Best place for pasta, each dish comes with a loaf of bread! Fantastic! :-)
