We recently had a wedding here and this was not the first event we had at La Massaria, however, this experience was not a good one. Unfortunately with the current management things seemed to be handled very differently from our previous experiences. The venue was the right size and worked for us, but the issue came with the staff. Unfortunately the steaks were almost inedible and we had multiple family members mention to us how they couldn’t even cut the steaks. They also did not give anybody steak knives. When we brought this to their attention nothing was done for us. Everyone was nice and helpful until halfway through the wedding then it seemed no one cared and after the wedding they seemed to quickly get rude and refusing to do anything for us. I am not one to write negative reviews but after hearing how they talked to my wife and treated us I feel it is honest and fair. Another thing to note is all negative reviews on the knot will be removed so take that into consideration while reading. My wife was extremely upset with how they handled the issues we had, and I thought it was very disappointing we couldn’t even get them to talk to us on the phone. I am more than happy to share my emails with them if anyone has any questions since I’m sure they will respond to this negative review in an dishonest way. Hopefully this review allows you to avoid having your guest complain to you about a very special day.

My husband and I recently got married here and while my family has had other events here in the past that were great, we unfortunately did not have the same experience. Leading up to our wedding everything seemed okay, but during and after our wedding the way management treated us was very poor. The steaks served at our wedding were nearly inedible due to the way they were cooked, and we were only given butter knives to cut them with. When we brought this to their attention after our wedding they did not seem to care. I can't express how upset I was with the whole situation and the way they handled it. They never took my phone call, refused to do anything for us and quite frankly they were very rude to me. This is the first negative review I have every wrote, but I think it is a fair one with how they treated me. I also want to mention that the other wedding websites like The Knot and Wedding wire removed my reviews so I would not trust all the 5 stars you see on those sites.

I held my sisters baby shower here and we had a wonderful experience. The venue was beautiful! The staff were professional and helpful. The food was delicious! The communication while planning was on point. Excellent experience. 10/10 recommend.

La Masseria was the best wedding venue we could have ever chosen. Everyone was extremely helpful from beginning to end, everything was explained and the timelines they provided were reasonable and doable. Denise was the best and made our day so special and unique with all of her extensive knowledge of the wedding flow and working with bridal parties. La Masseria worked with us every step of the way and we couldn’t have had a better night! We are so happy we chose them!

The moment we walked onto the grounds of La Massaria at Bella Vista, my now husband and I knew instantly it fit our vibe. Jen and her whole team were incredibly accommodating throughout the entire planning process. On the day of, I felt at ease and knew everything would be handled because of the preparations we took as an entire team. I have already recommended another bride and will continue to do so!

Hidden gem for a wedding ceremony and party. Located on a public golf course tucked away in PA.

I visited this location as a vendor for a wedding. I love that they are so kind to everyone. I have worked in many locations where I have felt like an afterthought. I did not feel this way at Bella Vista! It is a lovely location with wonderful staff. Highly recommend!

When we began wedding planning, La Massaria was our first venue tour. We fell in love instantly. Being engaged for almost 2 years meant a lot of time in between signing the contract and our big day. During our whole planning process, Jennifer was outstanding. The whole team at La Massaria was accommodating, welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home.

Such a beautiful place. Perfect for wedding receptions. Staff was great the grounds were immaculate. Plenty of room to entertain a small crowd. We had such a great time out there for my niece's wedding reception. Beautiful!!!

Our team just shot our first wedding here and we had such a fun time! The coordinators are so sweet there! The entire staff were very accommodating - it rained that day and they were so kind to offer different spots to take photos and helped us get around the entire location! We're so excited to shoot their again in the future!

10/2022 was there for a outdoor wedding. Beautiful day. Sunny, late afternoon ceremony. However, ALL of the seat cushions were soaking wet!!! All you could see were ppl sitting down and jumping up. Once they realized their "Wedding attire" was getting soaked from the rear. Not good. Apparent issues w/ ladies room. Seemed only one stall was functioning. And apparently the next day when the family of the bride and groom went back to pick up their personal contributions from their big day....everything from cake to flowers to decorations. Were plopped willy-nilly for collection.

The team at La Massaria were so easy to work with, very accommodating and always there assisting during the wedding. I wanted to be sure to have a venue that looked just as amazing if it rained and the ceremony was inside. It's gorgeous! 10/10

I cannot say enough good things about this venue! From the staff, to the food, to the overall experience, our wedding at La Massaria was more than we could of ever imagine. The entire wedding package includes so much that it makes the wedding planning that much easier. Carly and the whole team at La Massaria really went above and above to ensure not only my husband and I had a great time but our guests as well. We have already gotten so many compliments from our guests and we will be recommending La Massaria to everyone we if they are looking for a wedding venue!

My wife and I got married here in August 2020 and had an amazing wedding day. Roy and his staff accommodated all of our needs throughout our planning and handled the constantly-changing pandemic-related regulations as well as possible. They worked incredibly hard to allow us to have a wedding that was safe/compliant while also being so beautiful and fun that didn't feel like we missed out on anything. The grounds/facilities are beautiful with so many great spots for pictures. They have both a bridal and groom's suite -- something we found difficult to find at other venues. We also loved that all three of the main spaces (outdoor porch for ceremony, cocktail hour space, and reception space) were unique spaces and all equally beautiful. Although the pandemic forced our reception outside, we were still able to use the original reception space for pictures, staging, etc, and the outside/tent reception was still absolutely spectacular. The food and service were both great and the costs were extremely reasonable compared to similar venues that we visited in our search.

Nice place for a wedding & reception

We had our wedding here this past weekend and it was a fantastic experience. The process leading up to the big day was organized and accommodating. The night of, many of our guests shared how amazing the staff was. The bridal assistant took great care of us and our parents. And we cannot say enough wonderful things about the banquet captain. She made sure the night was flawless and when there was an issue with our transportation, she went above and beyond to save the day. We highly recommend La Massaria to any brides and grooms looking for a venue. You will not be disappointed! Thank you, La Massaria!

Fantastic wedding venue. All of the staff did a great job of both being present for guests but flying below the radar. Whenever you needed anything, they were just there. Everything was seamless from the cocktail hour to the after party. I really enjoyed the outside seating and the mini outside fire pits they set up. Overall I was impressed with how put together the staff was for my little sister's wedding. I can only hope they pay the staff well and the manager. The entire team was clearly very professional and well trained. It would be a shame if the golf course lost any of their staff due to low pay. These people were clearly top tier and I could tell they held a professional face, no matter what the issue. If you want a wedding reception done right, go here.

Just had my wedding there, and it was a magical and perfect night. Every interaction with staff was exceptional, every need we was fulfilled. The day of the wedding we got the complete white glove service and wanted for nothing. The food was fantastic, there are not enough nice words in the English to describe how great of an experience. I can’t recommend this venue and their staff more than enough, THANK YOU LA MASSARIA!

We had the office Christmas Party there was great atmosphere good food so festive.

This place is beautiful!!!!! Perfect for the wedding i attended. Great staff. Good food. Dj was on point. Everything seem to flow and be on schd. It was a bit cold..they should maybe invest in outdoor heaters.but besides that..its an amazing place for a party!

We had our wedding here on September 7th and we absolutely loved it. The whole place is gorgeous, inside and out. The upstairs ball room is amazing and it’s what sold us on the place. Great food. Roy is the man, and would bend over backwards for you. Caroline was a huge help as well as the rest of the staff. Everybody I walked past asked if I needed anything, and when I did the got it for me with a smile. Looking forward to golfing here in the future.

Was here at a wedding over the weekend. The wait staff and bar tenders where wonderful. It was a welcome sight to see your bar tender Dan going above and beyond to help an elderly woman.

Attended a wedding here. The food was good. Cocktail hour was downstairs with lots of food and drink options. Great place for a wedding under ~125 people.

This place is beautiful. I was here for my brother-in-law's reception, and everything was fantastic. The stonework on the walls and the exposed wood beams look great. The food and drink were tasty as well.

Hands down most incredible place to have your wedding! My husband and I had our wedding service and reception here on March 18, 2017. From the moment we walked in we knew this was place. It wasn’t just the beauty and elegance of the venue that pulled us in, it was the staff. From start to finish Christina was amazing, she was in constant contact with us, no question was ever left unanswered up to the date of the wedding. The day of our wedding the staff was GREAT, so nice, friendly, and very attentive to every one of our guest (with a smile) They were amazing, Our bridal attendants were so beyond awesome! They made us feel very comfortable and were very accommodating. The cocktail hour and the dinner were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Our guests are still talking about how incredible their meals were. We would recommend everyone to have their weddings here!!
