I ordered take-out. I got the La Provence Benedict on croissant, hash browns. Pick up was easy, I didn’t wait long, price was reasonable enough. The presentation was nice, the ham was very good and eggs perfectly done. The Hollandaise sauce was so barely not there, not enough to flavor. The croissant got soggy and difficult to work with. The hashbrowns were not to my liking. I like mine stirred and grilled, these came out with cold al dente center in them. I will try again, I just won’t get that dish.

Know they use a French spelling of a common name to access the wifi (confusing without verbal clarification).. but the hazelnut salmon was GF and delicious.

The day was hot, but we still sat on the terrace to enjoy the view of the lake. The service was excellent even though the restaurant was busy in the morning. I really liked the mushroom omelette, and they also brought a delicious croissant with it, which was not even indicated on the menu. We also ordered desserts. I liked everything very much!

It is a bit pricey but the food is incredible. I would absolutely keep coming back every so often. Even just the coffee alone would be worth the trip in my opinion. Very unique, creative options for food, coffee and drinks. Very happy I stopped by.

Just gotta love this place!!! The look and feel …is like you are at Disney World Of Restaurants! The presentation of goodies is endless! They almost look fake they are so perfect. And it’s like you are in France. The French do things differently than we do. Very fun! I’m fond of sitting down with table cloths and beautiful accessories while the wait staff have pretty aprons on! ( I want to buy an apron! ). Now I’ve had breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! All excellent! I’m not an alcohol drinker… but the drinks I saw being made were works of art! Great job! I’m signed up for rewards! ) Like Arnold Says… I’ll Be Back!

Have never been let down here. Has been a few years since I've been here...they are still killin' it. Wifey had salmon hash...first time in 13 years she has ever finished before me. Corn beef hash for me. Amazing as usual. Asked for hot sauce and was given a house hot sauce...was surprisingly good. Went great with my meal. House jam was so perfect on my sourdough toast. Service was on point. At home eating pastries now...cannot go wrong with anything from the bakery.

We had been looking forward to the opening of the new Raleigh Hills location but left there this morning very disappointed. I ordered the Whipped Feta & Avocado Tartine which was beautifully presented and was very flavorful. It got to us very fast, no wait at all. However, it was completely cold. Not even a little warm. When I mentioned it to our server Johnathan (who was very nice and understanding - it seemed) he said he could have it re-heated. That was great but I had to ask how it could have made it through the cooking process and still get to the table cold (how was it cooked?). He said he would go see what might have happened and what he could do. I waited for a while but he didn't come back out from the kitchen area. When he did re-appear he didn't come back over. Just sitting there waiting with my already cold food while he was talking to another employee. He came back around and asked how things were - like we had never talked. I told him again and he asked if I wanted a discount or something. He did go back again to the kitchen and came back this time, explaining that the cook said that the whipped Feta (seemed like cream cheese not feta) and the Pico de Gallo were both cold from the fridge and apparently made entire meal cold. The solution offered was to put the Pico de Gallo on the side. I wish I had thought to take a picture of the meal they brought back. All I can describe it as is "a deconstructed meal". The toast was cold and had two naked poached eggs sitting there like wiggly eyeballs. There were no potatoes this time. Everything else (no joke - everything) was in separate little white bowls - and all of it was straight from the fridge cold. The intention, it seemed, was apparently for me to make these cold from the fridge ingredients work at my table. If the cook couldn't do that in the actual kitchen how would it be possible at the table? It wasn't. The result was, of course, an even colder meal than the original. They graciously decided to remove that meal from the bill. Very disappointing experience.

One of the best spots around Portland for a really good breakfast/brunch. Nice location in Beaverton. Get there early or be prepared to wait on the weekend, as like all the good spots it’s very popular on the weekend. They also do pickup from open to 8:59am on the weekend if you don’t feel like sitting among the crowd. Great food and drink options. You have to try the croissant with jam, so so good. We probably visit or order takeout too often, but it’s always very good every time.

I came here for dinner, and I think this place was delicious. I got the calamari for dinner, which was just fine for me, but it was absolutely delicious. The garlic aioli was good, and I honestly needed more than served. The fries were irresistible, and were absolutely delicious, better than ordinary fast food ones. The service was good, and I am surprised they weren’t bothered about me asking for water constantly, mostly because I was thirsty before I came in. The atmosphere was good tho, the Eiffel Tower replica was cute. Otherwise a good French restaurant. I would just also note that someone I went with ordered scallops, but it was a small serving, just 3 small mounts of special rice and three scallops, which I wouldn’t judge, but seemed small.

Explained I knew no reservations but if there was anything they could do to accommodate us it would be appreciated. They’re always busy on a Sunday. I was surprised that that they were able to seat us with minimal wait. That was nice of them.

My opinion comes from knowing La Provence as a regular customer about 8 years ago and from my travels to restaurants around the world (France, England, Germany, India, Peru). Other countries really get the food and service RIGHT. And La Provence used to, if I remember correctly. I used to love it. It was a special breakfast for me and my kids about once a month. Today was a disappointment. The three hostesses looked like they would rather be somewhere else. They were not friendly, inviting nor smiling. We only waited 15 minutes despite the busyness at 10:30 on a Sunday morning. They were busy! When it was time to seat us, the hostess walked off and left us behind, not matching our pace nor allowing us to keep up with her as she disappeared around the corner. People traffic was cutting us off and preventing us from keeping up with her and she didn’t even care to look back or adjust her distance. That’s just basic hostess manners to make sure you are walking with the people as you lead them to their seat. She left the menus at the table and just walked off before we had joined her. It was a crappy table for two with one chair stuck between someone’s occupied chair and the wall and the corner. The other chair was in the foot traffic for the bathroom. I understand it was a busy time for the restaurant but I’m not sure there should even be a table wedged right there in that location. We went to the counter to order a pastry and she gave it to us in a to-go bag and cold. We asked for it to be warmed up for the table which she did, however the pastry stayed in a bag (not plated) and she must have “warmed” it up for about 2 minutes because the raspberry jam burned the roof of my husbands mouth. He told her that warming it up for enjoyable eating temperature would only be 10-20 seconds in the microwave, which would be common sense. You don’t want to burn your patrons or overcook their pastry in the microwave. That’s common sense too. My breakfast came with a croissant and although it came with jam in a small crockery, it didn’t come with butter. What European restaurant wouldn’t be serving butter? And the best butter at that?! So I asked for some butter and imagined it would come in a small crockery maybe even fresh and whipped for spreading because they are advertising themselves as a French restaurant, but what I didn’t imagine was the little squares of hard cold tiny pats of butter in a little square that you peel the lid off of and aren’t able to spread it on a soft flaky croissant. So the butter is useless. And it is much like you’d find in any North American diner across the USA, nothing fancy and even annoying, when you can’t spread it. My eggs Provençal were very bland and absolutely no presentation of the plate with the potatos and squash clumped haphazardly to one side leaving a gaping 1/3 empty space in the plate. Too much paprika on the potatos made them very red but flavor fell flat. This restaurant boasts fresh squeezed juices such as Carrot Orange juice on their menu, so in the past I would ask for Apple Carrot juice, which they gladly did every time, even though it was “off menu”. Today, the answer was “we can’t do that”. Didn’t even try to find out if they could. I think La Provence needs to step up their game especially in terms of hospitality and service to justify their prices and claims of being French. The menu items look delectable, different, and intriguing only to be disappointed in the entire experience. The South Store Cafe further down Scholls Ferry has a much better experience, quaint decor, and delicious homemade food… hands down the best pastries. But once they sell out then it’s out for the day. I think La Provence could up their game.

For the most part, I absolutely love this place. The staff are so nice and their dishes are good. I usually go for dinner... and am sad to find the menu has changed. Understand adding a few new items or taking some away, but they got rid of all of my favorite dishes. If they're trying to grow the dinner crowd, alienating their regulars by getting rid of the whole menu was not the way. The beef bourgignon (sorry for butchering spelling) and it was not very good. So disappointed. I love this place. I just want -some- of the dishes back: The chicken soubise Bourbon steak Chicken Mediterranean salad Risotto If you need to make them petit entrees, please do but don't get rid of it all. 😭 This used to be a 5 star restaurant for me.

Was visiting my friend from out of state for her birthday. She suggested this place & O.M.G, I'm so happy she did. I kept questioning, "Why didn't I ever come here, when I lived here?!" The atmosphere is so chic, the food was delectable (I got the risotto egg cakes), and I'm not one to drink anything outside of water, but considering the occasion, I treated myself to a green tea latte--that latte will be something I crave for the rest of my LIFE!! I'm back home now and tried to have it replicated by ordering it from Starbucks, and it was an absolute bust. My friend and her husband were also happy with their order & chai latte's. And the restaurant was so sweet to surprise my friend with a plate of complimentary macaroons for her birthday. I will be making it a point to have brunch here at every opportunity I make it to Beaverton.

I went to have fun today June/8/24 with my friend. We wanted to have breakfast together and I suggested LA PROVINCE it is one of my favorite places. The hostess took us to an outside table and I kindly asked to have another one that I spotted. The hostess angrily said that I have to clean that table, so I asked if that is ok with you and we can wait until it is ready. Her attitude was really bad, she was not responding to our questions, brought the menu and threw them on the table. I asked her if she was ok and she gave me a dirty look and walked away disrespectful. I asked to talk to the manager, but was told he was not available. Another server handled the situation and was kindly very respectful. I was however very frustrated with the situation and did not think the hostess needed to act that way.

I thought this cafe was a jewel, the food is great, the atmosphere is pleasant. What made me decide to never eat here again is the manager and the bar tender. I am a veteran and a cancer survivor, I had a metastatic legion on my hip bone that caused nerve damage, its painful and makes me limp and stumble from time to time. I went to have a nice brunch on Tuesday 5/7 and ordered a nice breakfast and even some desert to take home which I bought while I waited for my breakfast. Apparently, the server saw me stumble and told her manager about it, when I came back the bloody Mary, I had ordered with my brunch was gone and the manager informed me that the server saw me stumble and that they were assuming I was intoxicated so they were taking my drink. I calmly explained that I was completely sober, but she refused to accept it and said it was up to their discretion. The way the manager said this was so condescending and it insulted me because the truth was that I hadn't had a drink at all! I was completely sober, in fact I had just come from acupuncture and was groggy and waking up, I just wanted a cappuccino and a bloody Mary with my breakfast but no, the manager has decided to be pretentious and utterly rude. I had just finished a cappuccino too that was the only drink I had there, and she was so unbelievably pretentious and stuck in her mindset that I was intoxicated at 11am, it was so out of left field! The fact that she was profiling me was frustrating because of her attitude. The manager is pretentious and absolutely rude and nosy. You have no clue what I have been through and to ruin my breakfast by making a public scene when you are so wrong, it's pathetic. Because she was so wrong in her assessment and the fact that I hadn't had a drink there or at all was, mind blowing. I decided to cancel my breakfast and leave because it just ruined my mood. As I was leaving the server and the manager ran after me and surrounded me, the manager accused me of not paying for my breakfast, lol you can't make this up, turns out the bag I have is my desserts I already paid for and I told her to cancel the breakfast, she didn't charge me for the cappuccino though because she realized what a rude ignoramus she was being but I'll never eat there again on principle. The nerve to accuse someone of being intoxicated based on the way they walk when they are clearly sober and coherent when they talk to you is the definition of discrimination and ignorance. When they surrounded me and then harassed me them on the way out, it's just despicable and pathetic. I hope the new location they are building Cedar Hills doesn't have the same management. II honestly feel like these people are what's wrong with America, the absolute ignorance and utter disrespect is real.

It was wonderful being there again! And I've updated the ambiance and service. She (G. .., name is on the photo) was awesome!!! She's the only reason I'm updating the service. 3/28/2024 8/5/2023 I had an awesome breakfast today. My review is in video, picture and written form. Our server was Corry...Corry is awesome! Well, it was a lovely day when I last visited La Provence. We sat outside as near the water as possible. I didn't have a reservation. Do not make the same mistake. It was a weekend, at a time suggested (not sure they even take reservations until you arrive). Tight seating...loud parties, a fairly rude waiter... The food was good and the physical plant cookie cutter. Attempts to give an elegant charisma.. almost makes it. VERY expensive... almost worth it. All this said, would I return? Yes....and, I haven't yet.

Updating my previous review: I was offered a check as compensation for damaged coat. It was fair enough, and i could replace my damaged coat with a new one!The Manager talked with me in person and was very polite. I appreciate his approach and manner.

Great place to go for date night, brunch, or celebratory meal. Amazing drinks, food, and, of course, desserts. Can get really busy on the weekends.

Was there yesterday for my Mother’s birthday. Our server was nice and gave just the right amount of attention. However, my omelette was tasteless and undercooked. The potatoes were nothing special. The fruit serving was skimpy. How do you mess up children’s menu pancakes? They tasted like cardboard. Save your money as they are quite proud of mediocrity. We also were sat at a table where the sun blasted right into our eyes.

I've come here a few times now for breakfast and have always been pleased. The pastries are fantastic! I'm not vegan, but tried the vegan chorizo and tofu scramble on a whim and it was really great! The place is pricy, but what place isn't these days.

Last meal in Oregon while on my vacay and friends took me to this restaurant in Beaverton and was very impressed with this restaurant🤙🤙Luckily didnt have to wait long as it can get crowded. Ordered the Wild Northwest Salmon Hash and was impressed. From the flaky crossaint to the housemade rasberry jam, everything was top notch. 5 stars 🤙🤙🤙

The food was ok, but it's extremely overpriced. $90 for three people for breakfast. It's absolutely ridiculous.

It's not totally a French eating experience but it's a very quaint decor. Food and drinks are nice, and service is okay. There are good options for dessert but pricey. Still it's a good ambience and experience, especially outdoors when it's warm.

Corned beef hash was extremely fatty. It seemed with every bite I was also getting a chunk of fat. Service was friendly but not very attentive.

I’ve only heard great things about this place, but honestly I don’t really get it. The croissant was yummy, but everything I’ve tried there, (omelette, hash, greasy risotto cakes, eggs Benedict)…was just “okay”. People rave about this place but I think it’s just the fact that they charge so much it kinda makes it feel fancy. Aside from that I’m just eating 6/10 food and paying way too much considering the ingredients.

Took my dog and we sat outside. Really no one else was sitting outside (still winter, not weekend) and they offered to turn on a heater just for us. Too kind. Servers were wonderful and accommodated the pooch with no problems. I don't know if you can see it but the bakery makes their own dog treats IN HOUSE! We ordered the dog 2 eggs and they were made up as if a king had ordered them. The kitchen apparently allows a minimum amount of fancy out its door and that was lovely. It was a really lovely experience and you should take your dog. (check the weather and call ahead)

Love a brunch with the girls here. Presentation and taste is always done well here, from the kitchen to their crafted espresso and bar beverages.

Pastries are good especially their croissant bread but the overall quality and variety of their brunch is average, doesn’t match up to the atmosphere. Overall it is a good option if you want a romantic place to eat out at without paying too much.

No waiting space..so we waited outside. Wifi is spotty, but notification that the table is ready is a text. Outside setting was cold and so was the food

I love their food, their people and the space. This time we went just for croissants and lattes and were treated just as well as if we'd ordered a huge meal with extras. We took some cookies to go and tipped extra.

We've been going here for years and always so happy. But this last time it was really depressing. Very expensive for sub par quality. I remember their burgers used to be so good. The burger I got today was absolutely pitiful. Small and tasted ok.

It was my first visit to La Provence, and it was quite excellent. Cory, our server, provided outstanding service that enhanced the experience. He greeted us with a grin and provided excellent service, even bending down to talk to us. It was really human. Even just talking to the people at the table next to us, he showed them a great deal of patience as they worked to adjust a dish to fit their dietary needs. It will be a truly wonderful experience to return later with friends and family.

Love everything about this place! Right in the door, the service was super friendly. Drinks were great and the staff constantly refilled our water and tea. Every dish was delicious and filling. I stopped by the bakery on the way out and everything looked so good! Definitely will have to come back.
