Absolutely massive burritos, and the family that runs it is super cool

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. I have eaten here over a dozen times and never had a bad experience with the food or service. Everything is made from scratch and it is delicious and full of wonderful flavors. The super burrito is huge. If you can eat the whole burrito you will be taking a siesta afterwards.

After watching the owners kids run havoc through the restaurant and watching her kids sitting on top the counter and tables and shoes on counters plus watching one kid get his hair buzzed right behind the counter… I’ll never eat here again.

Come hungry… the portions, and the food is amazing. The staff is always very kind and prompt. Reasonably priced.

La Rockita has always been consistent. Family owned and operated for years. Every time I'm in town from Charlotte, I make the trip to eat here. The burritos are huge and the tortas are AMAZING!I will definitely come back when I am in town!!!!!!

Delicious! I had an asada taco and a lengua taco. Both were very flavorful and yummy for my tummy. I will be back for more!

Best authentic family Mexican food around! I recommend Mole Verde on just about everything. Open M-F till 3p, Get here while it's open. Well worth it!

Visiting my cousin Neil Richardson and his wife Carole. They took me there. The best tamale I have ever had and my fathers side of family was Mexican. So delicious. Carole was the owners teacher in school I'd move there for the tamales!!! Don't miss them.

After enjoying La Rokita on Circle in Corvallis, I decided to eat at their relative’s location, while in Philomath. The Flautas were big and full of chicken. I will be ordering again. Their Salsa’s were very good as well.

Great tacos and burritos, but get the Chile relleno burrito and add pastor to it you won't regret it.

Good Mexican food at more or less reasonable prices. Food along the lines of Sonoran region of Mexico. Got the fried tortilla dessert, and 5 layer cake for dessert. Relaxed, informal, family friendly environment. Not fine dining by ambiance standards, but great food. Tables extra spread out for COVID-19. So seats are very limited. Go, bring kids or friends, enjoy.

I had kinda avoided tripe for the first 4 decades of my life... I didn't know what I was missing! Such a delicious soup. I will definitely order it again. It isn't always on the menu, it is a daily special that you get lucky enough to happen upon. If you happen upon Menudo as the special, order it. Yummy. 04-03-21 Finally! Dining in again. We having been buying burritos from them for years! Always friendly, fast, and high quality food. I wanted to give an "Extra Kuddos" for today's service. They close at 3:00pm and I was not able to get there before they closed, so one of the owners dropped off my food at my place of business :) Thank you La Rockita for your continued excellent service, amazing food, and community support!!!

La Rockita Philomath is one of their best locations. They have great tamales and delicious mole verde. The outdoor seating is nice and the staff are very friendly. They also have a fun delivery robot. This is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.

I love this place! Everytime I come home to visit I try to eat here! Really good food and a great bunch of people who run it. In ten years, I haven't found a place in Portland that can beat their burritos! Philomath also has the best hairstylist (Gina Maxey) and Thai food (The Woodsman) that I've tried!

The best food for an extraordinarily reasonable price. Flavorful, fresh dishes. Tacos, burritos, chips and salsa, beans and rice. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Dine in or take out. Fountain drinks and bottled drinks available to purchase. Gets pretty busy at lunch time. Very popular place.

We have been eating here for years! Even before the building that they are in now (next to Figaro's Pizza). So I have a strong bias. The super nachos are great!. I personally love the burritos, street tacos and enchiladas. The only thing is with the enchiladas you have to be very careful with the box (keep it level!) Otherwise they will spill! Only in the plastic bag though.

La Rockita has awesome, moist tamales: typically pork or chicken. Both their red or green sauce (best stuff ever) is very tasty.

La Rockita in Philomath is all about food (mostly takeout), although the smallish seating area is clean and streamlined for partial self-service (order and pickup at the counter, for example). Low-key, festive decorations; very clean restrooms, and a reasonable selection of "South of the Border" favorites for quick dining or takeout. Considering the portion sizes, the prices are quite reasonable. Busy around lunch hour and closed on the weekends. Helpful, cheerful service. Seems like the staff all enjoy what they do.

Yummy! Heading home from the beach THIS is the spot to eat! GIANT, delicious burritos, yummy hot sauce, fresh guac n chips and very fast! Lovely people working there, exceptional service to everyone who entered. We grabbed tamales to go and the fresh mole smells amazing in the car! We'll be back! Muy bien!

I have lunch here at least once a week. Everything I have tried has been excellent! My favorite is the carne asada burrito. Their tacos are authentic and quite good as as well. Authentic Mexican food and great people, too. Phone in your order ahead of time if you're in a hurry for lunch. It can get busy.

Good food most of the time... it has been my go to place for several years now. Every once in a while they get a bit over the top with salt in their seasoning and on occasion the tacos have very little filling.

A locally owned family restaurant with several diners in local towns. The food is hot, freshly prepared, fast, and great service. Value is fabulous with the amount of food you get. Member of the family make it a great experience. They have limited hours - you need to call ahead to ensure they are open.
