This place has a New York Strip steak that is to die for. One of the best steaks I've ever eaten.

We started out with the spinach and artichoke dip, good but small portion. All 3 of us ordered steaks. The one we all wanted, were "sold out". The other option of steak was cooked perfectly, but for a $30 steak, it was small and had a lot of gristle. Service was great, cute place to eat, but markup is insane on alcohol,a $9 bottle was $30. Also the vanilla buttercream cake, which we all wanted, was still frozen, so we all picked different deserts. For 3 people dinner was around $200.00.

The Baklava was unfortunately inedible. $15 for this. Tasted like old oil maybe? Severely disappointed…

Unique menu, great history, wonderful service. We really enjoyed our visit. We wanted to experience history of the area and we found that here!

This is one of the best places I have eaten in Missouri. It is a true gem in Hannibal! The food is amazing!

I cannot say enough positive things about this place! We were celebrating our 4th anniversary and we stopped here on a whim, while on our way back to St Louis. It’s cute! Quaint! The gentleman playing guitar and singing was laid back and music was mellow. Perfect! Food was fantastic! We had the Caprese salad, Chicken Tagine, Riviera (salmon), cheesecake w/kiwi lime & lemon sauce drizzled over it!!! I would do it all over again it was so good! Food portions were plentiful in my opinion, presentation was beautiful, service was great! We will go back, even though it is 1.5 hour drive from where we live!

It’s our anniversary, and we were so excited to go here for brunch. We really wanted to go for dinner because the reviews are so amazing but our schedule would not allow it. So we assumed brunch menu would be just as good. Sadly, we were wrong. First of all, we waited about 45 minutes for our food. In the main dining area where we sat, there were only five people dining, including ourselves. After about 3o minutes the server told us that there was a large group in the other room and thats why our food was taking so long. I assume they have a very small kitchen staff. I ordered the crab tartalette and my husband ordered the west omelette. They came with two sides. A small spring salad and roasted potatoes. My husband said his food was okay… meh. Before we ordered, I had asked our cute and sweet-natured server if the crab dish was good. She said it was her favorite. I was so excited to try a dish that included my favorites, crab, mushrooms, and Gouda cheese! From the moment it was served, I was disappointed. The servings were small, with just two small tarts and small amount of sides. Maybe about 15 potato pieces, and a small salad. That was OK because the price was very reasonable, around $12. I had envisioned warm and soft tarts that oozed with flavor. Instead, they were over cooked, brown, and very very dry. I did eat one of them because after all, I was hungry. I could tell if they had not been cooked too long, they would’ve probably tasted good. Seemed like a nice balance of flavor but very very dry. One step up from cardboard. As pictured below, I left the other one. The waitress asked what I thought, and I told her that the flavor would’ve been good, but that they were very very dry. She looked somewhat surprised, and cleared our table with no apology. We asked for a ticket, and that was that. Outside of the food, the atmosphere of the inside dining was very interesting, but very worn out. The first table we sat at had stains on the white tablecloth, as did a few, I noticed that some of the items on the wall were dusty, and the baseboards along the floor were pretty dirty. We moved to another table, and the tablecloth was OK there. But all the fancy seat coverings which probably looked wonderful a long time ago, were thread bare, and very slouchy. It’s a shame, because the place has a lot of character. The place definitely needs some new linens, seat covers, and a really good cleaning and paint job. I did enjoy walking around and looking at the art on the walls. On a positive note, the restroom was extremely clean.

The food and service were excellent. We tried a little bit of everything. The Labinnah board and baba ghanoush were a great start. Both were fresh and delicious. I had the Havana shrimp and my wife had the chicken tagine. Again both were delicious. Splurged and had key lime pie for dessert too. Very glad we found this place.

My husband said this was an embarrassing excuse for lamb chops! Very little meat on them (he ordered the 2 five oz chops)- especially for the price. My meal with chicken was over cooked and tough. Babaganoush was just ok. Baklava was probably the worst I’ve ever had-nuts in it tasted old and the layers weren’t crisp. Busy and only had one waiter, so the service was suffering. Tried to be patient but had to wait thirty minutes after our meal to even order dessert. Also, the chairs were so uncomfortable-very hard to sit on. We were looking forward to trying this place, but it was disappointing.

Love the atmosphere of this restaurant. From the outside of the building to the inside. The interior is decorated with art, some being local artists! They had someone playing the piano that added to the atmosphere. Great for any date night! The food was excellent and definitely a different selection to choose from. We had a larger group and the food took over an hour to get to us. They also forgot our silverware/napkins. Upon asking we got 1 set. I think they might have been short handed? They also don't offer any kids selections. In saying that, they did make a salad just for my daughter who is very picky about the kinds of lettuce she gets (only 8 years old). I would recommend to the Bistro to add a small 2 or 3 option choice kids menu with something most kids like. Even if its just fruit, crackers and chicken. Over all it was nice but just not good for a family of 5 especially with younger kids. Keep it for a date night and you will probably love it.

Hours are inaccurate, even though updated a month ago

My wife and I have been twice now, and this has been the best food around the area. The international food and flavors are amazing, and they do it very well. I got the Havana with salmon, the flavors were amazing but I would get it probably with pork or chicken next time. My wife got the Moroccan shrimp, which might be my favorite food I've had yet. We got cheesecake for dessert, which is always done very well. If you're looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc I would highly recommend LaBinnah!

A very cozy place. Though we ordered the food from the menu, it came in as if it was customized for us. A very nice evening with my wife. Reminded me of my first date 🤗

What a great place for a dinner on their outside patio! We were seated by the owner and she told us about her own favorites from the menu (we asked!). Service was great and they were very attentive. Menu options were also great, hard to choose from so many good options! We had their chicken dish that was served with rice, reminded us of a dish our grandmothers used to make for us; we also had their Argentinian Chimichuri with a pork chop; and, for dessert, we had to have their baklava! Their baklava is home made and had a great taste and consistency as a real baklava should be made! We recommend the bistro and will be back again when we are in the area!

My wife and I both had the Chicago dish, what looked like a good chicken dish, with green beans and potatoes. It was a good-sized chicken breast, but a little tough. The sauce they put on the green beans took all the flavor away from the beans. We were sitting at an outside table; and the full-sized cat running around between tables outside and occasionally getting his paws onto the tabletops was not the most appetizing. For the price it was $24, it was more like a 12-14 meal, if that. We won't go back.

Labinnah's is perfect when you're wanting a more upscale dinner. The lamb is our favorite, and the salmon is always cooked perfectly. They also do Brunch on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The staff was absolutely amazing very friendly nice and accommodating. We both got the chicken and it was so dry the side dishes and the appetizers was very delicious. For the amount of money they charge they can maybe do some tlc to the building itself it is very ran down. And not in a nice quant kind of way but a house that was not taken care of kind of way.

A hidden gem. Some of the absolute best food I’ve had between Hannibal and Quincy. Omelets were simply outstanding. They have a lot of Mediterranean offerings which are very good, and very authentic.

Can I give them more stars? Wow. Heather was a delight. The food was delish. The atmosphere was unique and wonderful. I got king salmon - yum! Bf got Louisiana BBQ shrimp - member of the clean plate club. He also got the Turkish coffee and baklava. We split the baba ganoush - never had it before ever, loved it. Do yourself a favor and stop in. It's more than worth it.

Best place to eat in Hannibal Missouri.

Not fine dining…average at best. The baba ghanoush was nothing like any we’d had before, it was very bland and not appetizing. Very small wine selection and no mixed drinks available.

The seating is a little tight but the food is AMAZING! We both ordered a steak. I wanted it cooked medium and my husband wanted blue rare. We weren't sure if the chef would cook it that way since most restaurants will not, but they did! My husband said the steak was cooked to perfection. We are very pleased with our experience and highly recommend this restaurant.

In Hannibal to visit family, wanted somewhere for just the sisters to enjoy a meal together. We were not disappointed- ordered a wide array of appetizers- delicious. Entrees did not disappoint and desserts were decadent and scrumptious. Strongly recommend.

The atmosphere and food were wonderful. I'm glad I arrived early so I could get a good table and enjoy the live music during dinner.

La Binnah is rated 'Best of Hannibal', I don't disagree. As a former native of Hannibal I have not experienced anything on par with what Labinnah is doing today. There are other fine cuisine dining establishments there today and they are also good but Labinnah rises above them. Having said that many of the recipes are on the cusp of greatness but slighlty let down by ingredients, for instance serving spinach with a Caprese' salad insted of basil and 'salmon' that is more of a red fish. Still if you are in Hannibal you can't miss with the atmosphere and dining experience.

LaBinnah was a lovely dining experience, from the time you walk through the door the ambience is not only seen but felt as you are greeted by the friendly staff, hear the music and see all the art on the walls. Akira was a fantastic server and very pleasant to talk to. She recommended the Shrimp Istanbul, the previous owner's grandmother's recipe, and it was delicious. I highly recommend stopping in for a unique and wonderful experience. Update: We went back the next night and the food was even more delicious! The pork chops amd salmon were cooked perfectly! 😋

Lovely little find in a town of Tom Sawyer and Mark Twain tourist attractions. It is a nice ‘bistro’ style place with Turkish and Mediterranean elements due to the owner apparently.

I had read reviews for this restaurant, and they were spot on. The interior is charming, and the food was great. I did not feel like having an entree, so I had an order of the dolmas, which were very tasty and served on a bed of spinach with a sauce. I also had the babs ganouj, which was also tasty and a very generous serving of pita. I appreciate the generous pour of the white wine that I had

I was so excited to eat here after seeing the menu and reviews but i was so disappointed. The cheese Appetizer was served with Ritz crackers not the fancy ones on the menu and had dried herbs loaded on top. I expect more than that from a fine dining restaurant. The spinach artichoke dip was good but a tiny portion. The steak was OK, cooked to the right temp but nothing exciting. The salmon was good but again not exciting. The chicken was Bland and over cooked. The coconut shrimp was terrible. Very sweet sauce, couldn't taste any ginger and it had dessicated coconut in the sauce which was not a good texture. I brought it home and made my own sauce the next day. All dishes were served with the same sides, potatoes and Asparagus. Again not what you expect from a fine dining restaurant as they definitely do not go with everything. The Baklava was not good. The restaurant is tiny andi liked the decor. But the food was not up to standard and I won't go back. August 19 2023 addition to my review; We are very impressed by the gracious response from the owner. Based on that we will try the restaurant again when we are in the area

Something above OUTSTANDING FOOD but the restaurant is neglected. Absolutely the best food we have had in ages - really special and worth visiting. However, the restaurant decor and exterior are clearly being neglected like the owner has become unplugged. There's a lot of dust on the wall art and outdated tired doodads in the window ledges, bathroom door, bathroom, heavy weeds outside, neglected flower bed, dusty bottles all over the fire mantel, etc. The tables and flooring are absolutely clean. They need to spend a couple days and par down the junk decor inside and out and clean the rest they want to leave up. As it is presently, it takes away from the dining experience. You know, less is more when it comes to decor if it's a choice between junk and classy. The staff was super well trained and friendly.

Just amazing! The patio seating is lovely, the service is impeccable, and the food was perfection. Every. Single. Bite. What an oasis of culinary delight in such a warm, friendly, fun and relaxed casually elegant atmosphere. And Arif, the owner, is charming. We could tell he genuinely cares about his guests, and it shows. Don't miss out on this dining experience.

We planned an overnight stop in Hannibal as a halfway point on a road journey b/w KC and Chicago and chose to stay close to downtown Hannibal based on wanting to dine LaBinnah Bistro, and incidentally found our stay happened to be conveniently right next door! We were not disappointed by our meal here. The food was flavorful, spicy and zesty where appropriate, and light for the hot summertime. The wait service was attentive, the wines delicious. We split our meal b/w outdoors initially and indoors b/c summer heat brings its own complications, but enjoyed both environments. We had the Ulysses Bahce, Dolmas, and the Salmon chimichurri, and topped it off with the Dutch Chocolate liqueur and Godiva cake. All fantastic.

Took my oldest daughter on a mom/daughter date. It is fantastic every time I go there. Food is always on par, service is excellent, there are TONS of things to look at and talk about while you're waiting. If I had to criticize, you are not open enough. Just kidding, you can't work all the time.

Fantastic restaurant hidden away in downtown Hannibal. Definitely not cheap, but you'll know where the extra money went, and you definitely won't leave hungry. I recommend the lamb chops, but every dish that came out of the kitchen looked great, so you probably can't go wrong.

Amazing food in a very unique, old house - I highly recommend it! This place is amazing! We had the lamb (wish I had got the large portion), king salmon, coconut shrimp and steak. All were so yummy! We were traveling through the area and this was recommended to us. Do not miss this place, the appetizers, entrees and desserts (butter cream cake, cheesecakes) were scrumptious!

We ate here our first night in town and liked it so much we went back the next night. The food was excellent and the service first-rate.

We ordered the chicken tiki and chimichurri as well as a salad to-go and it was terrible. The chicken was skinless and overcooked, sitting on top of a piece of untoasted bread. The salad had a few walnuts and nearly whole apples tossed together. This food is both overpriced and not worth eating.

Oh My! Do yourself a favor and eat here! The atmosphere is great (especially on the patio), service was spectacular but the food was off the charts! I had the African Porkchop and my husband had the salmon with mango chutney. It was a perfect evening!

Very interesting menu with lots of choices. Our salads, entrees, and desserts were great! The entire meal and the service made us feel like we had been transported to a far away place. We were not expecting to find such a wonderful place so close to home!

The food was incredible. We ordered appetizers, salads and entrees. All 4 of us agreed the food was flavorful and very well prepared. Our server Camille was friendly , professional and timely. Aftr a very long day on the road (800 miles), we found La Binnah almost by accident as we rolled into Hannibal. What a happy accident. The menu was extensive (including many vegan/vegetarian options), the food was awesome, and the service was top-notch. It was a wonderful experience to have dinner there, and we will no doubt eat there again if/when we ever pass through Hannibal again.

We were pleasantly shocked to see that there was such a great restaurant serving vegan/vegetarian options. The menu was wide-ranging, the food was excellent, and the service impeccable. Will definitely go there again next time we pass through Hannibal.

Our first visit, and so glad we found this gem! Our server, Akira (spelling might be wrong) was wonderful with just the right amount of attention and care.

A very small establishment in a town famous for Mark Twain. Such an unusual combination that makes for a perfect union I've not encountered in any of my travels. The best dolmas I've ever had including a sauce to die for. The pork chops are perfectly done, so you'll regret ordering only one. If there is any flaw to find the sides are a nightly selection and not flexible, but understandable for such a small place. If you visit, please say hello to Arif, enjoy his personal decor, and tell him Steven R. wishes for his continued success. I very rarely feel compelled to review restaurants, but this is a place of note in a location you're unlikely to encounter at random. I give 3 stars in the Steven's Guide i.e. worthy of a special journey to visit.

Dinner was Excellent. Both versions of Salmon were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Had the stuffed Grape Leaves for the appetizer, they were scrumptious! Dessert, i tried, wonderful taken home. Our Servers were both helpful and attentiv, great suggestions! Best Anniversary Dinner (42) Ever!!

One of my favorite restaurants ever. I have been all over the US and I've never had anything like it. And to think it's in historical Hannibal. The atmosphere is amazing. The food is remarkable and perfect. The staff are knowledgeable about everything, and most of them have ghost stories to tell that they've experienced. This is a must try from no matter where you're from.

Wonderful delicious food, excellent service! On a girls' trip of 10...we all were blown away by this place! What a great evening and our server made it even more special!

My wife, mother and I dined here on Saturday 10/15. Arrived at opening and were seated promptly. Very comfortable and nicely decorated, intimate dining room. Right away we noticed dirty glassware and flatware. I mentioned this to Arif, the Turkish owner and he told us they had a new dishwasher who needs some work. Well, having been in the restaurant business for over 20 years at Morton's Steakhouse in Chicago, I did not appreciate him not owning the problem instead of passing it along to the dishwasher. It's your restaurant dude, and if the DW was new, you should have polished every piece of glassware in the dining room before you opened. I was underwhelmed. What else was dirty?! Service after that for the most part was pretty good. But the waitress should have shown up at the table with a pepper mill in hand to offer fresh ground pepper, instead of us have to ask for it. And the Caprese Salad would have benefitted from a more generous drizzle of olive oil and balsamic than what was applied. Too bad, because such a minor thing can make a distinct difference in the resulting joy of such wonderful fresh tomatoes. Main course of Istanbul Shrimp was excellent. Salmon was also very good. But we will not return.

This place is not to be missed! Great food & a very cozy, quaint atmosphere! If you’re not a big fan of Mediterranean food, don’t let that stop you, there are plenty of options to satisfy all!
