I didn't really like it but it's purely my opinion

If I could give more stars I would!! Amazing food and not overpriced. Does not have chairs but there is a nice tree that gives enough shadow to enjoy the food while sitting on the grass. Delicious taste !

I'm so glad we found this little place. We were trying to get some food on our way home from Lake McConahay and really did not want to stop at any fast food places. This was perfect! The breakfast sandwich was to die for and we really love the crêpe also. There's a little seating area to the side that's all shaded and a brewery right next to them if you feel like getting a drink. I highly recommend you check this place out!

Highly recommend the panini it is delicious! The mini honey cakes are delicious too! Keep an eye out for the specials on Facebook as they are good!

Such a great place! Owner was extremely nice, and when we asked if she had anything gluten free, she went above and beyond to share what she could make for us. She made me a taco salad, and it was bursting with flavor. I would give more stars for this place if I could!!!!

Wonderful place with great food made fresh. I got the meatball sandwich and it felt it was homemade. She was incredibly nice and accommodating, even offered to make the tacos gluten free for my wife. It’s well worth your time and money to eat here!

There are truly no words that describe the explosion of flavors with each dish. Personally, the crapes are off the charts. I couldn't get enough. Highly recommend Lake Mac Shack even if it's out of your way!

This spot was a great find! The owner was super friendly and created a delicious vegetarian panini just for me! My husband loved the mac and cheese, and the honey cake was divine. Ready in under 10 minutes and really unique and yummy! You won’t regret it!

This place was amazing. The customer service was excellent. I will definately be coming back for more food. The crepes were sooo good, they had just the right amount of cream cheese on the inside. We had the breakfast sandwich with that, my kids are picky and everything we had was kid approved which was even better. I recommend the honey cakes they were amazing. My taste buds we in heaven.

My best friend and I came from Omaha to see Lake Mcconaughy and stopped here for brunch. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and Ukrainian crepes. Everything was hand made. There is one person there running the whole show and she was phenomenal. Making the batter for the crepes while getting EVERYONES breakfast sandwiches fixed and handed out. When we got our food… Amazing! The sandwich was crisp flakey fresh and savory. The crepes, there are no words she made them with love. A MUST GO when in the area!!

Definitely a must try when in the area. Food was great and very fresh. The owner is very nice and takes pride in her business. 10/10

Amazing food in a most unexpected locale! Irina (who came here from Ukraine in 2005) makes amazing sandwiches and a type of pizza which is most delicious. She also serves blintzes. Everything is made and served with pride. Irina told us that she plans to run her food truck throughout the winter in town (Ogallala) - definitely worth a stop if you are heading through on I-80!

The Lake Mac Shack is a great place to get a high quality breakfast (and more) at the lake! I ordered the breakfast sandwich and the Ukrainian Crepe which were both delicious! The owner is very friendly and even threw in a scone for free. I wish I would’ve taken some pictures but I ate it all so fast! We will definitely be stopping at the Lake Mac Shack anytime we come to the lake

Our stop at Lake Mac Shack was such a wonderful start to our morning in Ogallala. Just what we wanted, great food and friendly service. It was so fun and refreshing to speak to the owner and see the pride and joy she gets from cooking this delicious food and speaking with customers. Highly recommend!! Will definitely be back next time we’re at Lake Mac.

The breakfast sandwich is so good!!! Get the paninis so you can have the salad with it. 5 thumbs up for sure!! Everything is made fresh and the cook is amazing!

What a cute little place! Went with some school buddies— we got street tacos, california pizza, and a panini! All great and yummy choices, made fresh and in a great amount of time! The owner was a gem and so lovely to talk to. Highly recommend if you’re in town and need a quick place for some great food!
