A nice little place, everything was quick and hot and tasty.

The food was raw didn’t offer anything not even a coupon half back and was rude to his staff like it was their fault

I was told the original Larson’s Lunch Box had amazing grilled cheese sandwiches so I was excited to visit and try them. It was very disappointing. Not only were we overcharged (the only grilled cheese option was on the kids menu for $5 and we were charged $18 for two) but it was the most basic grilled cheese. The grilled cheese consisted of two slices of white bread and what was most likely 3-4 slices of Kraft American Cheese. It was dripping in butter. The Kraft cheese did not seem to be melted all the way through either.

A roadside stand with the best lobster roll. 3 stars for atmosphere only because you are sitting close to the road on a wooden picnic table bench….but you’re still eating the best lobster roll.

I had fried clams with fries it was a little over priced .

Great lobster rolls and fries were done well. Kiddos chicken tenders were awesome too and are not premade. Actual chicken breast that was battered and fried. People are friendly. Location has nice picnic table area. Only downside is it's loud right next to the highway

Ate there for lunch, guys we’ve been so sick on the toilet I don’t know what to say. Called the place to ask if anyone else has called being sick and they hung up this is terrible. Don’t have much else to say I guess.

Just tried Larson's for the first time this year, my husband and I both loved it instantly. The Cuban sandwich & chicken salad roll are both delicious. Fries are great too.

Food was ok, but the tarter sauce was delicious.

I honestly cannot recommend this place to anyone. I ordered online, and the online system doesn't translate to the kitchen accurately. I went to pick up my burger and fries and there must have been one full cup of condiments on it. The burger was literally swimming. I asked for it to be remade to my specifications, and when I received the second burger it wasn't much better. I took 2 bites and realized it was RAW. Pink and cold. The fries were also not cooked through... For $17 I expected a decent meal. Will not return. Gross.

Quaint outdoor experience for really good lunch fare. Very pleasant staff. We had Haddock chowder, fries, zucchini fries, lobster roll,fish sandwich, coleslaw, chili-cheese dog and shakes. All was yummy. Better lobster roll than we had in Portland!

The lobster rolls were good, but at $32.00 EACH. This Was OUTRAGEOUS FOR PRICE. I Won't Have Another One.

The best lobster roll I've ever had, and their burgers and fish sandwich are also fantastic. If you're only going to have a lobster roll from one place while in the area, this is the place to go.

Could there be a burger of the gods? I did not pass by, I can only credit providence to my stopping. The universe has aligned and it was too be. Yes, there is a burger of the gods, and of you give yourself over to fate, you may find it at Larson's.

Have come here for years, under several different owners. Food quality remains consistently high. Great lobster and crabmeat rolls and some of the best hamburgers any place I've been. The new owners have added fries which I don't recall being available in years past.

Cute stop. A little buggy. Had the fish sandwich and the veggie burger, zucchini fries and coleslaw. Fish sandwich was really good! As well as the zucchini fries.

Veggie burger fabulous!! Fish sandwich tasty but not crispy fry on breading and runny tartar sauce. Would have preferred toasted or warmed buns.French fries great! Overall an enjoyable experience.

Excellent creamy lobster rolls.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and had the best fish sandwich I've ever had. The Haddock was cooked perfectly. My wife said her crab roll and onion rings were tasty as well.

What a perfect lunch spot! The lobster roll was fantastic. Not too much mayo and not too little, with a generous portion of lobster meat. The zucchini fries were good, but not spectacular. This is definitely a great place to stop for a good meal.

Quick but expensive! Food needs improvement! Used a slice of bread for a hot dog bun and the skin on the hot dog was so tough you couldn't chew it! Do not recommend! Don't waste your money here!

Forget the hype over Red's and skip the line! Call ahead to order you lobster be roll, classic or with butter, or any one of the other goodies...burgers, sandwiches, or one of my favorites, the chili dogs! All put together by two of the nicest, hardest working folks I know ... Larson's is definitely worth the trip...and stop at Round Top for I e cream afterwards! Only a half mile away

Great place! Really reasonable prices, and a very nice looking space with lots of picnic tables with umbrellas. Also, everyone working there was so nice! If you're reading this review during Coronavirus, this place took the most precautions with the transmission of germs I've ever seen, with a plastic screen separating the kitchen and the customers, putting on gloves for handling money which are immediately thrown away, etc. Lots of small precautions which are all very appreciated!

Everytime we are in Maine we always stop here. The food is so good everything on the menu is delicious!

We grabbed a quick bite after a beautiful morning kayaking in Damariscotta. I had the lobster roll "naked" style (plain with side of drawn butter). It was fresh and filling. I also ordered fried zucchini which was good. My mom got the hamburger and it looked really good too. Simple menu and fresh, delicious food with a relaxed, picnic style vibe.

This place was great. We ended up ordering in the middle of a thunderstorm but it was worth it because the lobster was so succulent.

Can't beat the crab rolls, my Mom's favorite place

Nice roadside stop. Small with dusty non-paved parking. Outdoor seating only. Hubby loves their American Chop Suey. Talks about it constantly. The last few times we tried to stop, no parking & full.

Best lobster roll I've ever eaten. This is a seasonal walk up to the window, order and sit at picnic tables kind of place. It does a busy lunch crowd all summer. The menu expanded this year to include sandwiches beyond the usual seafood menu items. A trip to the Maine coast for me always includes a stop at Larson's

My go-to lunch spot in Damariscotta. Best lobster roll in town. Best haddock chowder in town. Good sandwiches, burgers. They make a nice black bean burger, too, and that's not easy.

My son and I had the haddock chowder. Great lunch and tons of haddock in the chowder. Prices very reasonable, friendly staff, and clean picnic area. It was great because we had our puppy with us and didnt have to leave her in the car.

After having read several reviews on this establishment, I did a road trip, about 4 miles, to taste the food. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, w/ lettuce, tomato, and onion. I was disappointed there were no fries, so I tried their fried Zucchini, with a side dip of cucumber wasabi. The burger tasted very good, albeit a bit under cooked. I DID NOT specify to have the burger well done, so I got what they usually make. The zucchini was excellent, and the cucumber wasabi was very tasty. All in all, it was a good meal that was enjoyed while sitting at one of their many picnic tables.

Loved the crab roll. They have an expansive menu and the food is real good. Fast, friendly and delicious!
