Flavor country! Francisco’s pollo was outstanding, and the salsas were excellent. I had the nachos, and the amount of toppings and chips was awesome. Totally would go again when we’re up here.

It was good, but don’t order the extra mushrooms. They didn’t go well with the rest of the ingredients in my bowl.

Stopped in for a brief lunch. The ladies behind the counter could not have been more pleasant. I had a chicken burrito and it was excellent.

This is definitely fast mexican but in the best way possible. They food is fantastic. They actually care about food allergies, and I feel perfectly safe to eat this with a severe gluten allergy. Some of the tables are dirty, and it feels like a fast food restaurant.

Mine was fantastic I loved it. My husband's tasted like something was spoiled in it we ended throwing it away. I ordered the pork tacos with the pineapple salsa I recommended it. He ordered the steak bowl. And it didn't taste good it had a spoiled taste. The service was great.

Ricki sucks, worst worker there. She will talk about personal things infront of other people in line. Dont recommend going because of her. Shes rude.

Top shelf - way better than a chipotle or Moe’s.

Pretty unique local place for a quick bite. Got a beef burrito with everything in it for ~$10, good value and quick. Saw the staff checking the meat temperature, bonus points. The burrito tastes fine, but nothing mind blowing. Feels like a homemade burrito.

I am so glad to have fresh and tasty Mexican food choices in this part of Maine.

Excellent experience this evening at Las Olas. Came in with my husband and our three young children. It was busy, but the line moved quickly. I had a large order of two burritos, two kid quesadillas and one order of chicken nachos. All the food was delicious and made correctly. The staff was the highlight of the experience. Friendly, attentive and eager to ensure a positive experience. Thank you for a fun and budget friendly family evening out to dinner!

I’ve stopped in a couple of times now and had decent experiences before so I figured I’d order a pick up order for the first time. Never again. The staff was not very friendly, and two extra charge items were missing from my very small order.

They catered a 100 person graduation party for us. They came on time, did a beautiful set up, they took great pride in their work. It was perfect. Everyone absolutely loved it. Food was hot and delicious! Thank you so much for making our event so wonderful!!

Went here twice during my weeklong vacation in Wells. If you are tired of super expensive mediocre food at all the touristy places, you should come get you some high quality and fairly priced food here. The salsas and guac are all top notch.

They make a good taco (burrito, bowl). For the northeast outside of NYC, Boston the taqueria you see is usually Chipotle's and if you like Chipotle's then you'll love here, so much better. Better choices, everything seems fresher and this place does get lines but that means things are always fresh on station. Have I been to better in other part of country, honestly yes. Can I name one taqueria in ME, NH, VT that is definitely better, no. This place is really good.

Loved coming here for years but moved away and always impressed but I made the long trip down to be disappointed. The line was super long which was fine because the food is always good but I clearly asked for a pork bowl and that is not what I get. The kid scooped the meat confirming pork and I didn't notice it was actually chorizo, I hate chorizo. I couldn't even ask for the right meat because it was too busy and the girl at the topping station was extremely rude. I asked for cheese and she couldn't even bother and only put literally 2 jalapenos on the bowl. Also the staff was not wearing gloves and just dragging burritos through old food and old liquid. It was super gross. Probably won't return

Used to work here as an employee. They are really good to their staff and the workers always make things right. We all have our bad days, but Las Olas is the one work place I would come to where everyone would put a smile on their face and do their jobs. I got an 8oz of chimi because I was in the area and my mom LOVES it. I think they may have changed their recipe since I worked there? Anyways, a lot of cool changes I saw! Nice to see some old co workers althought they bring up personal matters that doesnt pertain to them 😁

This location needs to invest in fixing it's fan. The inside is always filled of smoke and the ceiling tiles over the past two years have gotten progressively more disgusting. Food remains great.

The food here is fantastic. Everything on the menu is delicious. It is a little like Subway in that you ask for your own mix of things. At meal times the lines are long, but they have plenty of cheerful people working behind the counter so the line moves along. Most people seem to get their food to go, but there are plenty of nice clean, simple tables, so you can eat in.

New England suffers from a small pool of Mexican food restaurants. Las Olas does their own thing, so please don't compare it to Casa Vega in the valley or something in San Antonio, but give this place a shot. They have a unique offering, and the people are the best. Service is well thought out and they cater to please. The food? The preparation is via steam trays and they provide good portions. I am not sure how 4 tacos can cost almost 20$....but I have been living elsewhere, so I am going with the flow. I like this place and I want it to make it and my Dad loves it. Lets go Las Olas. See you next summer.

Decent but overpriced for what it is, rice always tastes like microwaved minute rice.

I couldn't figure out why a burrito was $17. It's massive. Way too much food for an average person. It was very good.

I have been going here for the past 5 years at least 4 days a week. They have yet to give me a single free burrito, I think 40% of my salary has funded Las Olas and I am well deserving of a free burrito. Further more I got called out because I accidentally addressed the female there as “maam” Also, saw flies angrily buzzing around the black beans, not sure what’s in them that made them that angry.

The steak burrito with extra steak was amazing.

The Las Olas Taqueria does a nice job of making nearly athletic Street tacos from their counter service bar.

First time and just ordered takeout. Great experience! The burritos (chicken and pork) were prepared exactly as requested, and they were ready on time, also as requested. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Looking forward to a return visit very soon.

Been 20 times but this is our first review. Solid local options for Mexican and Tex Mex. Best part: you can get served in 8 minutes. Counter order, walk up like Chipotle. Part of a three location business. Wide open dining room for a small group or larger parties. Colorful environment and decor. Not a full bar, but do have beer and canned drink options. Service was pretty good on our last visit. Usually more dialed in but we think they were training new people. Reasonable prices too. Worth a visit.

Loved my guacamole and beef tacos they were really delicious. The atmosphere is nice too it’s casual dining and they have different types of seating for different sized parties. The service is awesome too they have an order area and pick up area where you pay. I very much enjoyed my lunch here with my friend and will let others know it’s a great place!

Once is fine twice is well ok maybe it was just busy three times ok this is getting old.. but literally every time I get the same thing and LITERALLY EVERY TIME the rice is hard beans are hard chorizo was even hard .ridiculous .

I ate there last weekend with my girlfriend just by happenstance.Every place else in Wells seems to close down once the out-of- town money is gone...tsk..tsk. I'm always up for a locally owned place versus a chain. The gentleman behind the counter took our order and made our food. He was very polite, and speedy. The food was very good. Good portions and tasty...they even had Moxie! We both enjoyed our meals, the place was nice and warm on a cold day even though it is large and airy. Great artwork on the walls and I asked about it, and they said it was all done by the owner's daughter I believe. The place was spotless including the restrooms. I'm bringing my family back tonight!

Best Mexican food around! But really really really slow service.

Foid is always stellar, can get very busy and the line isn't set up for more than two people making food so thats the only fuss. Inside is pretty basic, just a nice place to grab some food.

We ordered catering from the Exeter, NH location for an informal rehearsal dinner. Fresia was super helpful customizing our mini burrito platters and big salads. Everyone loved the food. Delivery was super convenient and on time. Would order again for other events for sure!

We frequent Las Olas, and this was a spontaneous stop. I got Bean Nachos, which I'd never had before. They were great, we brought them home, and the chips did not get soggy. Piled high with delicious ingredients that you decide are going to be on you nachos. We do not tire of Las Olas.

Wait times are killing this place. The food is great but the long line that moves super slow is losing its charm. I understand good food is worth waiting for but I was in a line of 11 people and it took 25 mins to get to the cash register. I think there are inefficiencies in the ordering process and the simple solution is to allow for online ordering but the system is constantly down.

The absolute worst food in Wells Maine. Took one bite off the tacos I ordered and handed it back They didn't even offer me a refund. The kid just took it and threw in the trash. The staff did not seem to care, as if they were just zombies. I seen taco bell make a better taco. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

I loved this place. My girlfriend and I came and got 2 steak burritos while vacationing in Wells ! Delicious, fast, and affordable.

Our server put way too much stuff on our nachos, behaved very erratically, added things we didn’t ask for, and overall came off as unfriendly. The guacamole was brown, beef was dry, nachos were cold because they took too long, and the queso tasted like a public restroom smelled. Don’t know what happened, I’m used to this place being good.

Amazing food! We loved our chicken bowl, steak burritos and queso with chips. The pineapple chipotle salsa was great! And we loved the house made mango pear lemonade! The only thing we didn't like was that none of the tables were clean and we had to clean one ourselves..

Locals spoke highly of this place so I Ordered a couple shrimp and chicken burritos. Soft and easy to eat but bursting with rice and beans and not much else. After eating half of the shrimp burrito I took a look inside the second half and found only two pieces of shrimp. Same for the chicken burrito, very low on protein. Other dishes might be great, but my burrito experience was less than expected.

Chill spot and cool people. The chicken is deliciously grilled. You order how you would at the commercial Chipotle. Expect bettee food 😋

Las Olas is my and my girlfriends favorite self serve style Mexican restaurants. We usually take a trip on a motorcycle (gorgeous ride for a car too) though Kennebunkport. The food is amazing and the customer service is usually better than average. Definitely go try this out. Locally owned and tastes amazing! On the inside it’s quite pretty. However, the interior is not blow-your-socks-off but it’s also above average in my opinion.

Wells on a Wednesday is hit or miss for what is open. After driving around for ten minutes trying to find something we stumbled across this place. Great little spot. Good good, even better service. We had steak burritos with succotash, our boys had chicken quesadillas, we also got guacamole and chips.

Very good from my experiences here. The food tastes way fresh and done fairly quickly. Without complaining about the steep prices, it’s a nice place for the kid’s meals, takeout, and their every detail made to-order.

This is a Chipotle style Mexican restaurant. You work your way down a line explaining what you would like to eat. The quesadillas are amazing and they put the toppings on the outside, which I have never seen before. It is like a quesadilla bowl. The chips are a bit too hard for my liking, but overall this is a nice spot for some quick Mexican.

Hands down the worst Mexican food ever. DO NOT get the nachos. They put some bland flavorless white cheese shreds on it and heat it. They come out as one hard huge chip and you cannot separate the chips unless you break them up with a fork. Awful. At almost $5 per taco you get very little meat, mainly lettuce. Go to a Taco Bell, its better and cheaper. The only redeeming thing about this place is that the employees are nice.

Self service similar to Chipotle. Overall average. I had a chicken bowl and spouse had a beef taco. Food was flavorful but barely warm. Nice variety of salsas and sauces, especially the spicy aioli. Took us a while to get through the service line as to go go orders were being fulfilled as well. Table area was in need of clean up.

some workers here are kind of rude, however i tend to avoid coming in those days. Mondays and Tuesdays are my go to if i do want to come in. the food is a bit pricey. however i can NEVER finish my food in one sitting. a burrito ends up being 2-3 meals. highly recommend.

Small whole in the wall taqueria in Wells Maine. Stopped in with my family and everyone found something they enjoyed even my vegetarian mom and sister. My wife got the chorizo crunchy tacos I got the chorizo burrito and my mom, sister and nephew gor vegetable fajitas. Service was fast and friendly.

Went there on my lunch break and totally forgot it was cinco de mayo. I was greeted with a employee that told me I had a free shirt for coming in which was a lot of fun plus the energy in that place is always amazing. Love that they have option for vegetarian and vegan.. love it!!

Las Olas catered our gala of 300 people and we couldn't have been happier with the food and the service. Fresia was great to work with and catered to all of our questions and needs while planning the event. Their staff arrived promptly and provided all the chaffing sets and paper supplies needed and set up an entire buffet. The food was AMAZING, everyone at the event was so happy with it and there was extra so people we're delighted to be able to bring some home. Can't recommend their food and catering service enough.

Great service from Trinidad, salsa and chips were very good, we had seconds. Fajitas Beef was seasoned well. Large Taco salad with a lit of vegetables.

Extremely disappointed. Waited a little bit which wasn’t a problem since it’s a Saturday night. My boyfriend ordered 4 things and when going to pay asked a worker if you guys still had chips and queso, her response was “can you wait a minute, you have four things going right now.” Sorry but that’s not how you talk to a customer. Ate in our car which was fine, opened my quesadilla to find it soaking in the pineapple salsa sauce (no draining?) went to get into the chips and queso and the chips were severely over cooked and couldn’t even eat them. Ate my taco and the first bite I took the steak was so over cooked and had pieces of black chard on it and it was absolutely disgusting. Also didn’t have sour cream or cheese which I asked for just a pound of Aioli. Extremely disappointed as this place use to be so great, whoever the manager is now really needs to retrain the workers in good customer service.

Pretty disappointed. I’ve been coming here for years food is usually constant. Today I got a 19 bowl. Portion sizes were ridiculous small. Way smaller then I’ve ever had here before.. I ordered pico.. all I got was like a tbs worth of cut tomatoes. I also ordered a ginger ale online got no cup or ginger ale.. Bummer I won’t go back.

Sweet potato burrito and chips & queso were amazing

Was in the area for a business day trip. Visited on the recommendation of a peer that operates out of the area. The food was phenomenal. Literally had 2+ lbs of food in the bowl that was ordered. Had the ancho beef bowl with basically everything on it and the brava hot salsa. Delicious! Staff was super nice. It's a little bland inside, but the nice staff and great food deserve the 5 stars.

Ordering online is not a good idea for this establishment. I would think it written down for them would be easier. But proven wrong 3 times.. won't go again.

Burritos are absolutely phenomenal. Blows Chipotle out of the water, zero comparison. Their new queso dip is probably the best I've had in my life. What a hidden gem!
