Las Perlas has a wide selection of Mexican cuisine. The food is amazing. You will definitely find something in their extensive menu that will satisfy your cravings. The service was very good, the staff does a good job at checking up on you. I did find that the food did take a bit long to come out though. The atmosphere was nothing over the top. Very classic diner vibes. Overall the Las Perlas was a very good restaurant that I will be eating at again!

The ground beef chimichangas are amazing. I get one almost every weekend. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming, highly recommend!!!

Las Perlas Mexican Restaurant in New Port Richey, Florida, is a must-visit! I brought my whole family, proudly wearing my "Birria Time" t-shirt to honor them, and we had an incredible experience. The food is absolutely delicious—authentic flavors that keep you coming back for more. The family-friendly atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for any occasion. I give it 5 stars all around and highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for top-notch Mexican cuisine!

Ordered 2 tacos, fish and pastor, with a side of rice and beans. Food was average. Sangria was 50% apple chunks. Waitress was new, but friendly and attentive. Note that, as of early August 2024, they don't have a liquor license, so I couldn't get the margarita I was looking forward to.

This is as close to California Mexican I have found in the area. The place is really nice inside, spotless clean, friendly staff, and the owner making sure everyone is happy. Fresh salsa and some homemade hot sauces were great. I had a carne asada burrito that was excellent. Highly recommended stopping by to eat in the restaurant or getting some take out.

Honestly probably the best Mexican food in the area and we used to live in San Antonio, Texas where there is a lot of good Mexican food. Service is always excellent and it's just a cute little "home in the wall".

No doubt this amazing dive is our new favorite spot!!!! The food was phenomenal!!!! My husband got a ground beef chimichanga (picture shows he added red sauce) and I got the quesadilla. The picture of the quesadilla looks simple but oh my lord the flavor explosion on the inside!!!! The chicken was insanely juicy and drenched in seasoning and it was paired with onions and delicious cheese. The rice is perfection as well, seasoned great, light and fluffy. The appetizer cheese queso was nice and thick and not watery, perfect for dipping. The inside of the place is decorated so cool, they have made it so fun. Please stop in and enjoy his phenomenal foods!

Relatively new, first visit, great service, and great food. The carnitas were delicious, as was the chicken Fajitas. Couldn't get a Margherita because they are waiting on a permit from the county. Complimentary chips and salsa were very good. Waitress said red and green sauce was hot, and she told the truth. Definitely will go back and try other menu items. Took friends, they couldn't shut up about how good, fresh, and speed of service. Continues to be our favorite.

I went to this restaurant with my friend and the food was OK. It wasn’t great. It wasn’t bad but I could tell you the service was terrible. The girl get kept forgetting things that we ordered. She gave my friend the wrong taco. She ordered a fish taco and got a shrimp taco she could’ve been allergic. And it was super Duper hot in there. They need to get a better air conditioning system because when I get super hot trying to eat, I get nauseated so I didn’t really get a chance to eat all of my food and I didn’t take it home sowill not be going back to this restaurant

If you are looking for REAL Authentic Mexican cuisine this is my favorite spot to go to. Service is on point and make you feel very welcomed.They have a wide variety of different Hispanic dishes. My absolute favorite is the Steak Tapato. It just melts in Your mouth and the flavor sooooo sooo good and tasted very fresh. My friends my family and even my children enjoy coming here.

1st time there but will definitely go back. I played it pretty safe this time on my meal. Their menu has some items that I have not seen elsewhere. Next visit I will try something that I've never had. Their sauces were very good

Our first time here was last night -- Taco Tuesday! We ended up not getting tacos to try new things. I had an octopus/tomato dish and my husband had the chicken quesadillas. We also had sangria and Modello. We met Jesse, the owner-- very kind and made a recommendation for 1st time ladies: Pina something. My favorite was the beans and rice, with the 2 house-made causes, on a 🫠

A very unique and amazing place to enjoy authentic Mexican dishes. A very wide variety and amazing selection. I had the homemade guacamole to start and the combo plate as I wanted to have a few different items. Tasted absolutely amazing. Hot, fresh and so tasty. I’ve had a lot of Mexican food from Tijuana, San Diego, Monterey, New York, Virginia Beach, NC,S.C. Florida and this was hands down the best!! Muchas Gracias for the best Chimichanga ever!!

Always great service and food when we come to eat here

We moved to Florida 3 years ago, from Missouri. We love to eat out and try different places, especially local businesses. It has been difficult to find out perfect place for Mexican and we found it. I had the best carnitas and my wife had the steak fajitas. They were perfectly seasoned and savory. We will definitely come back!

Food was good. I went again. Second time all the death images were getting to me and I veered away from returning a 3rd time or inviting a friend I knew wouldn't like all the skeletons. I get they have that 1 day a year for their deceased loved ones but they're taking it too far and it was too "dark", I celebrate life more than death. If you're into Halloween and haunted houses.... you might be comfortable. The girls were indecent. From waist down. Absolutely nothing left to imagination with their painted on stretch pants. They were working on a bar section. With all this, It seems like their aiming for a dark Ybor type bar scene environment and we don't need or want that in our family oriented Holiday community.

6-7-2024 I just happened to be on a roll today writing reviews and couldn't leave this place out.We have been to this place so many times I don't think I can count the number of times. The last time we were there(a week ago) they had expanded the place to include the suite next door. What an improvement. The owner is awesome( I just don't remember his name) He always greets us with kind words and a big smile. Last time he sat and talked for about 5 minutes while we were figuring out what we wanted to order. He is so nice. The food? It doesn't get much better than this. I always have my hard shell taco Mexican style. That's with onions and cilantro. You can get them American style, but anymore, that is boring to me. Oh, and the sauce they keep on the tables. Beware...they are delicious, but they have the heat. The red sauce is not as hot as the green sauce, but it still packs a punch. So with all that said, the prices are decent, the food is authentic(lots of Latinos eat there), the portions are plenty, and the atmosphere is truly Hispanic. We love this place. I’ve tried a couple of different Mexican places here in Florida but this one is the “BEST” down here. This is real Mexican food. Very close to home. I recommend everyone to try the food here. I’ve tried the soups almost everything on the menu and I’m never disappointed!!!!!! There is even agua de horchata

Just flew in from North Carolina and we were wanting some good Mexican food. This place hit the spot! From the moment we got there to the moment we left we felt good vibes. The Ecuadorian waitress was super nice and friendly.

Wow the owner Jesse was warm and welcoming as soon as we opened the door. He was very attentive with our grandkids and got their order in asap. We all loved the food at our table, I got the Birria tacos and rice and it was definitely top notch. I would eat here on a weekly basis if I lived closer. Hats off to this new young business owner he is definitely living the dream in wanting an authentic Mexican restaurant in his community.

This is REAL MEXICAN CUISINE. Had the pleasure of taking some friends for Cinco De Mayo. Made reservations for 4 people table was already set up for the party. Felt like I was in East LA!! The service was great, the atmosphere was great!! The place is super clean!!! The food was the best I have ever had here in Florida!! I have lived here over 25 years and prior to that I lived in Southern California. My friends had never had Mexican food, they just came from Cuba. They loved it!! My new Favorite Plave!!!!

Very cute mom and pop place. Service was excellent. Sangria delicious. The hit for me was the rice and beans. Fajitas very tasty but was surprised no cheese with them. Salsa was good,.not hot so added some green hotsauce and it was perfect. Chimichanga was stuffed full of beef with a great cheese sauce. Guacamole was good. Fried ice cream was huge and while I would have like more chocolate sauce hubby thought it was great. Definitely a place we will go back to The service and atmosphere better than some of the other Mexican restaurants around us.

I've only ever ordered takeout, but the staff is awesome and were very nice about subbing ground beef for the chicken on the tacos since it wasn't an option ordering online but was for other items. The food is delicious, and definitely will keep coming back. The birria tacos are also probably the best in the area.
