We dined in at Laziz which is located in the basement of a building. It was very clean, the service was quick and all our food was served fresh and hot. The hummus was creamy and the falafel was crispy and hot. I personally liked the rice platter better than the chicken shwarma wrap I got. I found my wrap to be a little dry and did not have enough chicken. The gyro rice platter was excellent. Definitely a must visit if you’re craving delicious lebanese food

The chicken shawarma was delicious - I love this new spot! Update: I fall in love with Laziz every time I come here. I can't recommend it enough.

Was there for my mother's birthday today and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish the atmosphere, the food, the kindness of the staff. Hands down incredible and cannot wait to go back!

Laziz is such a gem in the heart of Mt. Lebanon. The owner is so friendly and warm. Delicious and fresh food with generous servings, eat in or take out. You will be back again and again! We continue to go back again and again for wonderful and reasonably priced meals!

The definition of a hidden gem- you have to try this place! Everything was fresh and delicious. Most people order takeout I guess because we were the only people in the dining room. Idk what it is about their feta cheese but it is one of a kind!

I always order take out and the food is delicious, the falafel is amazing. Rolled up in the shape of a donut instead of a ball so you get maximum crispness. Yum yum yum.

First time there. Had lamb shank, very good. Service was great. Rice pudding for dessert was very good. And good coffee too. Small dine-in area but not crowded. I'd like to give 4.5 stars. We'll be back

I dream about the salad dressing, finally got some to go to hold me over between weekly visits. Gyro and grape leaves are best in the city. Everything is excellent including the service.

I have been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while and finally had time to do so and it was so worth it! The gyro platter was so tasteful with large strips of lamb meat. The rice pudding (homemade) and baklava were also very tasty and the portions were perfect for one person. I recommend this spot and the owner is the nicest person with great staff.

We had a party of 10 for dinner at Laziz’s. Adele made several Lebanese delicacies that were delicious and enjoyed by all in our party. The table service was courteous and timely. BYOB too !

Excellent food and friendly service

Everything we had was wonderful! Food was so fresh (fattoosh was so good) and the meats juicy and flavorful. Service was top notch. Our waiter was helpful with questions and suggestions. This is one of my new favorites and I will be sure to tell others about it.

They gave my friend and I free drinks and put a lot of love in the food the chicken tenders and fries were so good the chicken tenders crust was crunchy and amazing, inside was very smooth and tender. Put so much love. It feels homemade. Very underrated go there.

Outstanding food and very reasonable prices! This is a quiet, family run restaurant that is a true gem. The fattoush salad and the phylo dessert were absolutely the best I’ve ever had. This place is a keeper!

I just tried Laziz for the first time and it was wonderful...the house dressing on the salad was excellent, and my Chicken Shawarma wrap was so flavorful. I can't wait to try other items. Great service, great prices...we'll be adding this to our dining out rotation!

This is the best Middle Eastern restaurant in Pittsburgh! The meats are juicy and the portions are generous. The baba ghannooj is just so delicious, as is the hummus! We try to come every week and sample something new because it is all delicious. Take out is super fast, too! Dinner can be on the table in 15 minutes!

We enjoy going to this restaurant. The food is always fresh and plentiful. It’s hard to pick only 1 dish, so we get multiples and share everything.. then take home leftovers and enjoy for a snack later that night. This is a family business where they make you feel welcome. Don’t leave without trying the spinach pie with feta (is very similar to spanikopita). Try the Mezza platter.. it’s a great variety to share. We enjoy Shawarma and gyros freshly made and delicious. For dessert try rice pudding or baklava (my favorite) the layers of dough are delightful with the sweet nut mixture, a perfect ending of your meal.. or take it home for a treat later. I enjoy that I can have hot tea while my husband enjoys a nice cold drink. The food is excellent, but the service is priceless. We love to eat in, but have dropped by to pick up food to go… everything is always delicious. We park in the garage a short walk away from the executive building they are in. It usually costs us around $2 to park and enjoy a meal. There is street parking as well.

What a gem! The most delicious food and the nicest people. Love the mother (chef) and son (waiter) combo! Casual, but comfortable ambience. Have been there twice with a total of 3 other people; all were very impressed and happy! Will be going back again and again. Will also be using the catering service for an upcoming bridal showers!! Do not miss this culinary experience!

We are Lebanese lovers; this food is outstanding! The location is poor for foot traffic because they are below street level but seek them out to support Laziz!

Ordered the meat pie and tomato mozzarella salad. Perfect lunch. Delicious!

Far and away the best stuffed grape leaves I've ever had, and I've been to many Greek weddings and Orthodox Church gatherings. This place is a blessing.
