Very nasty there was a roach in my bagel !

A small-ish bakery that makes several pastries and breads but bagels is what I came for. I arrived late morning and they were not busy. I got an everything with cream cheese, everything & lox and the vegan bagel on a sesame. The bagels themselves were really good, although a little chewy. The everything seasoning is good, not heavy on the garlic/onion. It also doesn't have salt if that's a dietary restriction. Of the two *sandwiches the vegan stole the show in looks and taste. The combination of ingredients seemed a little odd to me for a bagel but it clearly works. The chilli crisp they use is really mild so it looks spicier than it actually was. The lox bagel was good too, the ingredients were well proportioned. They have a small eating area inside with a couple of tables with additional seating on the patio. I'll come back to try their other pastries or need some fancy bread.

Everything I had at Leo's was fantastic. I bought more pastry than I could eat because everything looked technically perfect and so creatively delicious. It was great to share with friends. Also, upon the direction of a local, I ordered the veggie bagel toasted with cheddar and it delivered. The owner Kate and the entire team were very nice and welcoming. 11/10 will be back.

I get a loaf of bread from Leo’s at the mid-City farmer’s market about once a week. Their sourdough and party bread! are insanely good. I just bit into a slice of their sourdough with just butter on it and legit said out loud “hell yeah”

Incredible!!! I had the Everything Bagel with scallion cream cheese and lox. It was delicious! They have a small patio area if you want to relax outdoors. Will definitely return 😊

Best bakery in town. Tried several things from here. Staff were friendly and service was great. They are true bakers here. Apple butter biscuit tasted good, having moist fluffiness and good chew and a crunch to its too. It hold the slightest sweetness and would pair well to make biscuit sandwiches. Party bread, tasty bread with a solid bite to it, could pair well with olive oil or be made into a carrier for meats and cheeses, good call for a party. croissant was Rich and crunchy with the perfect amount of bite to it. The pecan center was well balanced and not overly sugary but rich like the met of the bread, smartly made, these folks can bake. I think the savory croissants must be something with their style of bread and I will have to try next time. Nice music playing and has a small patio area in the back.

I’ve been driving right past this tiny bakery without even seeing it. When I finally did, I became much happier. They make the best pain au chocolat this side of Paris. Perfectly flaky on the outside, with a high quality dark chocolate inside. I’ve been slowly exploring other items, all I can say is Y. U. M. Next up I want to try their lunch menu.

Wow! Everything we've tried from here is absolutely superb. Highly recommend.

Perhaps the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth

When I arrived at 8am to pick up a king cake that I ordered, I was told to come back at 9am and she said that I should have seen that in the ordering process. Maybe I did, but that was almost a week ago. When I looked at my online Toast receipt, it never said pick up at 9am. I wasn't upset but when I tried to tell them what the experience was on the customer side, the girls said "I can't help you if you don't read the instructions." And she didn't help me. I can tell you I won't remember that a week later - put the pick up time on the receipt so people will remember. The lack of empathy, the lack of listening, the lack of any kind of caring was lost on them. Leo's Bread needs to check their hospitality! People will forget what you said. They will forget what you did. But they will never forget how you made them feel. Maya Angelou

Leo's is a little gem. Staff is incredible, and the bread and baked goods do not (ever!) disappoint.

No argument, Leo's croissants are better than Parisian ones but this reviews about their bagels. Hands down Leo's makes the TASTIEST bagels in New Orleans. Only 3 flavors - plain, sesame, everything - and they do each so well! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. And their cream cheese is divine. No bagel IMO is worth eating unless the cream cheese is fresh and creamy. Leo's totally gets it.

I’m grateful to google maps for leading me to this tiny bakery/cafe. I had never seen it but now I know. The pain au chocolat was delightfully buttery and crispy, with a molten glob of dark chocolate perfection inside. I’m looking forward to tasting my way around the menu.

Such a solid bagel! Perfectly ripe tomatoes, shaved onion, fresh dill?! Perfection is in the details, and this place pays attention. Idk if they’re named after horoscopes, but I love this place even more if it is 😂😍 Run don’t walk for their bagels! They sell out before noon and for good reason.

Fantastic sandwiches, the chili crunch was outstanding. Also had one of the best cookies I’ve ever had (Pecan & Chocolate chip). Nice to see some affordable bread and bagel prices - especially the offer on day olds.

We came here specifically to try croissants to compare with other place, and absolutely loved these croissants. They have buttery and soft layers inside with tasty crispy baked layers outside! We tried a couple: one plain and one with pecans, and liked both of them! Also we came late, around the closing time, and lady made coffee specially for us. Great place! Great service! Great food!

Great Bagels- cheaper and better then FM in Mid City without the wait. Owners are good community people.

If you have an addictive personality avoid this place and their bread. It gets in your head. You’ll day dream of your next bite as soon as you’re finished your last bite. Flawless bread made by people who care. You’ve been warned. You’ll never buy bread from anywhere else.

I’ve yet to try anything here I don’t like and I’ve been trying for a year now. Always go back for the everything bagel egg sandwich, it’s something special.

Everything tastes good but my lawd its a mouth workout. The bread is so tough that a lot of toping fall off and your mouth hurts from all the agressive chewing.

I've been a regular Leo's customer for a year or so, and describe my self as someone who "lives to eat." Leo's produces consistently high quality products that "foodies" crave. Come get you some!

By far the best bagel in the city. Great flavor with soft pillowy insides, really well defined crust that is nice and chewy. I would be happy with more flavors, but the plain, sesame, or everything are more than enough to scratch an itch. While the bagels are my favorite, the selection of breads and pastries are astonishing for such a small shop. The sourdough is actually sour, crusty and a crumb so soft you could take a nap on it. Very highly recommended.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. The food and staff are amazing. They have standards and seasonal options that are well worth a taste.

Watch out for the weekend rush, they'll sell out quick in the morning! Which tells you how good their selection of delicious breads are, not to mention good sandwiches and coffee for a light morning breakfast. Really lovely place! Can't believe i haven't heard of it sooner

We got the ham and cheese, peach and chocolate croissants. Holy balls they were all fantastic. Better than any other croissant we’ve had in the city.

I love this place. Kinda annoyed that they serve bagel open face. Smh. But everything literally taste so good. I cannot get over it.
