Ordered an Italian sub. The ( not the owner) man making the sandwich scooped the tomatoes,pickles and onions with his barehand. No gloves. Cmon man.

I don't recommend this place. The man who serves is very terrible. I asked him for a grilled chicken calzone and he told me I'm going to order fries. He only wanted a chicken calzone and if medium or large is fine for two people, he told me that he doesn't know and that if he wanted me to go somewhere else, what a terrible service from the Lord. It has a character that is not even good to return to this place

Usually a great place but the man behind the counter today was very rude, he scolded me for asking for a substitution that I get every time and then he proceeded to splash water at me to get my attention. He also ignored 5 phone calls made to the store while I was there. I don’t know who was working today but it wasn’t the owner who treats all of his customers like family

Just the best. I don’t want to insult him by calling him old or small, but him working the oven at 9:45 on a Tuesday, I don’t have enough respect to give. When you pick up your food he’s humble and kind. Makes me proud, there’s a right way in America, and that’s it.

The BEST Greek salad I’ve ever had. Steak tips always juicy and cooked perfectly. My only regret is not coming here sooner. The staff is friendly and the prices are good. I can definitely see why Leo’s has been around so long and loved by everyone

The young lady at the counter is very friendly, helpful, and quick. The older gentleman is also very personable and friendly. Their Greek salad is delicious and I hear they make an amazing steak sandwich.

This is a small neighborhood pizza and sub shop that has delicious and hot food!. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely eat there again, or take it with me, the next time I'm there!

Seriously some of the best we’ve ever had! My husband and I have tried a lot of different types of pizza. But this has really topped the charts. The older gentleman, who we assume was the owner was cooking and took such pride in just our pie (I’m sure every pie) and with his Italian accent said, “ What’s good for the eyes is good for the belly.” He was polite and courteous and had integrity, which is hard to find these days. We got a large pie with 2 topping under $15! Which is also rare these days. Absolutely worth the stop and price!

I new to the area. Leo's is the seventh pizza shop that I've tried, from Salisbury down to Ipswich. This was by far the BEST Hawaiian pizza that I've had in the area. Sweeet and not too salty, with a crispy thin crust. Excellent! I'd even go so far as to say it was one of the best I've ever had. I'm looking forward to trying Leo's meatball pizza next. Also, a very reasonable price!

Wow! We just ordered subs from Leo’s. The only place around where you can still get good food for a decent price. Steak bomb was a good size and delicious!

I just got an italian sub there. I've never eaten there before but had picked up some DoorDash orders. I am still eating my sub and it's so fresh and delicious! The man that made it seemed like he might be the owner- but not actually sure. He was very nice and thesub is so good that I stopped eating it to write this❤️

Man, I’m never in this area but I’m glad to have been here. First of all, Leo, good old fella, was just casually sweeping his floors when we came, and as we ordered our food - I got the Greek Salad with grilled chicken and Caesar dressing while my parents got the steak bomb calzone. He just memorized it with out needing to write it down. At first I was skeptical because my salad was specific, but to my great surprise, I was deeply mistaken. The grilled chicken was just so savory with a hint of herb and garlic while the greens were crisp that ends with a crunch! Say no more, when my destination ends up here one of these days, you bet my A$$ I’ll be stopping by Leo’s House of Pizza for that critically acclaimed (by yours truly) Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken and Caesar Dressing. A++ PS. Shout out to EmmyChino for introducing me to the world of Greek food 😋

Had a decent sized sub with all fresh ingredients. The fresh ingredients really made the sub.

Italian sub was pretty standard fare, good bread and meats. It's the baclava that earns it the 5 stars. Homemade and delicious, had to get an order to go! The guy working behind the counter was friendly and helpful too.

Wanted pizza the other night and couldn't find anyone still open, so we went to Leo's. I'm soooo glad no one was open! Their pizza was DELICIOUS!!! We got a 1/2 bacon and extra cheese 1/2 Hawaiian and chicken fingers and everything was awesome!!! Definitely gonna come back!

Place has good food. A bit small and the TV was rather loud. Overall good but a bit of room for improvement.

I've been eating Leo's steak bombs for over 30 years. I stop by every time I'm in Newburyport.

They make the best calzones and Veggie pizzas around-absolutely, generously loaded with toppings and so delicious! Not to mention their prices are incredibly reasonable and they are such nice people. We live down the street and order from here all the time. One of our favorite places to order takeout!

They have been there forever, been going there for years. Food is prepped very quickly and always very consistently great. Pizza is awesome and subs as well. They only complaint, portions are too big and I always eat too much. 😉. Try it and you'll be sold. Staff are super friendly and you're soon a regular.

Small, friendly type of place. My dad and I ate here and it was perfect for a casual lunch/dinner. Plus Yani (hope I spelled it right) remembered my name. The pizza was steaming hot and delicious, and my dad said his steak & cheese sub was the best he's ever had. Definitely going back soon.

Great pizza and sandwich shop... one ok f my main go-to places when I'm too tired or too lazy to cook. Greek salad is good, love the grilled chicken sandwich (with musrooms, onions, provolone cheese)...

Average steak and cheese. Just like every sub shop now the steak and cheese is either super dry or all grissle.

Wrong Directions/Address for GPS. When I tried to give Siri the name of the restaurant in Newburyport, it took me to literally the middle of nowhere. When I then tried to put in the street address on their website, it gave me directions to Peabody, not Newburyport. I called and they guided me there, but to avoid a possible headache yourself in the future, search for “Mirror Mirror Hair Salon. Its located on 190 State St, Newburyport, Ma, and is literally right beside Leo’s. Great Service & Pizza. Thicker crust, fresh salads, and very sweet staff. All the best!

Without any doubt, ask John, the owner, who I just met tonight, to cook you a grilled chicken sub with green peppers, sweet onions, regular mushrooms, and American cheese. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked and the sub had so many flavors with all the sauteed vegetables! You got to check them out... it will be well worth your time!! I hope I can get back there and order it again!
